Please help a life, this poor boy is bleeding to death under Idi-iroko bridge Maryland mall, we have filed a report with the police
and call emergency response for almost 2 hours now no help is coming
He has reported the matter to the police; it's not that he got a police report/extract to handle the matter. And if he has no means of taking the fellow to the hospital, that is not his fault. Again, you people need to stop attacking those who take pictures to draw attention to problems they can't solve.

Same chloroquine that was banned by same nafdac.

In as much as this development is welcome, has the root cause of its initial ban been addressed?
Chloroquine was never banned. Its use for malaria was DISCONTINUED after it was found no longer effective as plasmodium had developed a resistance to it. The WHO then began to recommend ACT as the standard malaria treatment, and that is still the case. However, malaria is still used to treat several conditions around the world. Even some oyinbos travelling to Africa still take chloroquine injection as PREVENTION since it does not seem to itch them the way it itches many black people.

There's a shortage of test kids - that's why they're limiting tests to those who returned or have had contact. But once it's confirmed that it's spreading in the population they'll have to change that policy. I'm not excusing their incompetence in not responding to calls on time though.

We all know the virus has spread beyond control in Lagos.
A lot of people already have it but are not showing any symptoms yet.

I had serious fever, eye pain, joint pain and dry cough for three days.

I didn't do any test, all I did was isolate myself from others.

I ate plenty fruits and gave my self three doses of Emal antimalarial injection for three consecutive days.

I'm doing fine now even without any cough mix.
There's no cause for alarm guys.

We're strong enough to handle this.

Government will continue to lie and decieve us. They make decisions behind closed doors and prioritize themselves and the wealthy.

For now, they are willing to attend to only themselves and ignore the ordinary people.
How many ordinary people have been tested positive for coronavirus? None I guess.

Guys wake up and take charge of your life.

We are on our own oooooo
Did you come into contact with any suspicious person/case? Does your work expose you to a large number of people?

He tested negative. Scientists, who study these things, have determined that when you've tested negative, you no longer secrete the virus and so are no more infectious, with determined timelines. Eviana:
But am I Godly and biblically wise?
That is the most important question.

The above bolded KINDA, SORTA, IN JUST A TEENY, TINY WAY, reminds me of the biblical account of Joseph and Potiphar's wife...the basic premise of temptation and distraction.
(Full account is in Genesis 39: 1-23 KJV).
I'm playing the role of Joseph...and you are...ummm...well there's only (1) other role so....

There Joseph was minding his "own" business, yet glorifying His Father in Heaven while serving his "master" Potiphar who entrusted him with the care of his home....
When up out of the blue comes a more than likely lovely, charming, charismatic and probably tempting woman who wanted to "fraternize" with him. She probably complimented him first though.
The temptation for Joseph must have been really tremendous...
Would it be a wise move for him to chat with this seemingly charming person?
How should he approach the situation?
What does he decide to do?

Anyone who doesn't know how the story unfolds, please read it from the above-mentioned scripture passage.

Hmmmm.....

I so admire Joseph that I, Ms. Eviana, had to take a "page out of his book"... wink

You be blessed Mr. charming, anonymous, stranger.
Your compliments are humbly appreciated.

Sorry for derailing the thread folks.
Keeping Nigeria at the forefront of my prayers.
God still sits on the throne.
Such eloquence! It’s always good to meet a Joseph. I don't see a Potipher’s wife here though. Maybe just "Potipher" without the "'s wife". But such eloquence. Really. We should be together. #loveduringcorona

Also, note that Chloroquine and Quinine treat coronavirus but Oyimbo system cannot carry it, reason they have not declared it as cure for coronavirus but if you ever get infected as a Nigerian, take it.

If you experience difficulty in breathing, get a nebulizer and if you can, install humidifier in your room to avoid life threatening breathing difficulty while asleep, which can be fatal.

Ventolin tab and inhaler should be okay if you had asthma or bronchitis or breathing difficulty or allergy before you contract coronavirus.

Take paracetamol, don't take ibuprofen in place of paracetamol!

Drink enough water and if your breathing difficulty persist, boil water to boiling point and inhale the steam into your nostrils it will relief you, you don't even need to go to the hospital unless you start experiencing severe bronchitis and high fever for more than 48hrs.

But whenever you notice any dry coughing, difficulty in breathing (if you don't use to have it before now), high fever, continuous nonstop sneezing, please protect your loved ones and friends and those around you by self isolating yourself and covering your mouth whenever you sneeze and if possible wash your hands with enough soap and water or use an alcohol based sanitizer immediately before touching anything and please don't shake anybody no matter what or how they feel about you turning them down.

Honey, ginger, garlic and lemon will help boost your immune system, have them at home now.

Fear not, coronavirus won't stay long in Nigeria and even the world
Do you have any backing for the chloroquine/quinine claim?

iammo:
cool

After April 6 we shall know if truly his endorsement would get him a ticket, {Only delegates list compiled by National chairman can vote in Edo Primaries, INEC would only accept primary result from Oshimhole's NWC }

to the scumbargs insulting Oshiomhole and suppoting Obaseki may you encounter an Ingrate like Obaseki..
The problem is not even with Oshiomhole but Obaseki and how he treats people who fought to make Edo an APC State..

When Oshiomhole was running helter skelter like an orphan trying to win Edo from PDP some people like James Ibori secretly used his closeness with Yaradua to help him, which Oshiomhole repayed his kindness with a land in Edo GRA and Ibori built it to taste, what did Obaseki do when he got power, he demolished Ibori's house because Ibori didn't even recognize him as the small boy that he is,

When PDP Federal Government refused to protect Oshiomhole and his supporters back then, their only seciurity was thugs like Kabaka and his gangs, who would face PDP and federal police and fight it rough and rugged till Oshiomhole could campaign every corner of Edo, now Kabaka and his gang that many died and got sentenced to jail are now labeled a tout and hooligan , with their investment and hotels being demolished

part of Oshiomhole's cabinet like Ize Iyamu were the most qualified to succeed Oshiomhole but Oshiomhole picked Obaseki above the real strong party men that worked tirelessly, fought blood for blood with PDP, since Oshiomhole knew what he did was wrong he called Obaseki to give Juicy Post to this guys which Obaseki did, only for him to start treating them bad and later sacked them,

the House Honourables that made Oshiomhole have a successful 2 terms governance also decided they want to compensate one of their own with speakership, what did Obaseki the ingrate do? he forced his own candidate as speaker through minority vote and locked up the State House

Obaseki would claim there is no money to party member loyal to Oshiomhole and doesn't give them contracts yet he and his aide got caught by Interpol trying to launder $2million dollars to france

this is why nobody wants to help anybody in politics other than their family because soon after they get there they become Don
.
Interesting narrative. Seems Mr Obaseki doesn't appreciate what Mr Oshiomhole did for him. I doubt people will trust him with power again after his governorship.

Even if that claim is true, weather can only slow the transmission rate here by, for example, reducing the amount of time the virus can stay in the air and on surfaces. Nobody said you can't catch it because you're from Nigeria where the weather is hot or even that it can't be transmitted here.
