Madam OilPUSSY, I see you under a different moniker. I see you girl. But you are not a Yoruba person, so no need to identify as such before you post your post. pinkPUSSY: |
In this era of superstars teaming up, hahahahaha. Better get your shorts ready mate. chic2pimp: |
Great observation bro A40: |
See Miyetti Allah's statements from the start have clearly shown what the real agenda of the Fulanis are and it has nothing to do with grazing, trust me when I say it has nothing to do with Cattle rearing. These Fulanis have long believed that the entire Nigeria not just the North, is theirs, it is conquered territory. Now with Buhari in Aso Rock, they seek to assert their dominance. It is clear to everyone, even to the blind, that just by judging from the statements from all involved and affected and the actions taken thus far, that the Fulanis are really aching for war. These fulani elite, no matter how well they mask themselves, their intention has always stayed the same. It is really left to the ethnic groups in Southern Nigeria to defend themselves and their local communities. The Governors will not do anything, so do not look to them. Buhari's administration has been the most ethnically biased from Nigeria's inception but that really is no personal business of mine. But if you think you will grazing into my farmlands and spoil my source of livelihood, then you have got another one coming. Southerners should stop patronising these Cows that come from the North. Put them out of business and watch all of them quiet down. Afterall, you can't force whoever is not willing to eat Cow meat. Southern Nigeria Governors should partner with Cattle farmers from other countries to set up ranches within their state, rear cows and sell to the state populace, put an end to this madness. You can almost judge a nation based on the quality of its national's discourse, just look at what we are talking about as a Nation. Cattle. Herdsmen. RUGA. It just goes to show you how far from grace we have fallen and still continue to fall till this day. I feel sorry for this nation, I weep daily for my country. This is what we have been reduced to, what a pity. We ought to be in the league of nations, trying to lead the way in various categories, look at what we are deciding to concentrate our efforts on. effoi: |
Giannis is arguably the most dominant player in the paint in today's NBA. I'll give the title of most efficient to KD, but Giannis style of play just means you'll likely have to double team him, that leaves open Steph and open Klay. Bro you need to understand something, Giannis and Steph don't need to get 30 a night, but the two of them can still average 20+ a night off of Pick and Rolls. Giannis and Steph combo will be a beast for the entire NBA to control, mark my words. And again remember, Steph's numbers did not drop drastically even with KD in the mix, emphasis on "drastically". Trust me when I say bro, if there is one thing the GSW team is good at, it is to make accommodation for just about any player (except ofcourse Westcrook). If they do get Giannis, it will be for his dominance in the paint, it will be for him to act as decoy whilst Steph and Klay are freer to shoot and in the middle of all this, Giannis and Steph will still get their numbers, Klay will also get his anyday, cos all he needs really is a little space to shoot, he is the perfect 3 and D guy. As for Giannis vs AD, I haven't looked at Stats but with the way Giannis plays he will overpower AD on defence. I love AD anyday and I think he is a better overall player than Giannis, his game is more finesse and smooth but Giannis on that GSW team, my oh my, they'll sweep just about any team. steady986: |
Bro, he will get those 30 points per night regardless. See there's enough to go around in GSW because of the way they play. They move the ball around. And mind you, I strongly disagree with your logic that they know how to play one way. With KD, on and off the floor we saw they could play multiple ways. I guess you wanted to say they play best through Steph and Klay but even that is debatable cos KDs presence on the court won them the last 2 championships, it would have been tougher without him. Giannis is a different animal to KD. He doesn't have the finesse that KD has, his shooting isn't as good. But his play in the paint, is definitely the most dominant in the league today. He is an elite defender in today's league. He rebounds on both ends pretty good too. Don't forget he can also set decent screens and knock down some open 3s, so what else do you need. He does not have to be KDs carbon copy, he just needs to play his game and let the Splash Brothers worry about shooting from outside the arc. Bro, Giannis will even be a better fit than KD for this Warriors team and I do not think for one second his numbers will dip. In GSW, Klay and Steph will ensure his numbers don't suffer cos they are selfless players, through and through. And come playoff time, he will have teams like LAC and LAL for breakfast. I am yet to see an NBA player that dominant in the paint. Prime Cousins before the injury comes close. AD also has the potential. Though I have to admit, ADs game is more mature and sustainable than that of Giannis, but Giannis is a tireless worker and he can only get better bro. Trust me his game and number will not suffer. steady986: |
Exactly bro. Shortly after they lost the ECF earlier this year, some news was reported (though he denied) that if he didn't win next yr he would quit the Bucks. As you can see, players in the modern day NBA have learnt the art of Power Play, they choose their own destinities and not the Club. Giannis will be a Warrior, it might be next year or the year after when the Bucks will lose him for free. But, I do believe Giannis will be a Warrior. As for Steph being MVP, I guess we will have to see. Since no Klay and KD, primary shooting responsibilities fall to him and he can still shoot. If he wants to, he can up his numbers this season but then this is Steph again, the ultimate team player. I don't really think he cares about those numbers, he just wants the best for the team. KNIGHTBlaed: |
Please how can I get a copy? WoeBetide666: |
I kind of disagree bro and here's why. GSW have shown that they can just about blend any player into the way they do things. Giannis can still continue to be the focal point of their attack and that may well take the attention off Steph and Klay such that they'll have enough space to shoot uncontested 3s. Also, you must remember come playoff time when it gets physical and the tempo slows down, the Splash brothers struggle against certain teams, that is where you'll understand the usefulness of Giannis. Agreed, Giannis is not a finished article, he even admitted to that recently saying he is 60% of what he knows he can be. But make no mistake bro, Giannis will fit perfectly into GSWs offense and defense. I could even argue he would fit better than KD, just watch. If he comes, they will be a championship team again. steady986: |
He doesn't really need to. But on a sidenote, his shooting has been improving year on year and I'm sure he will only get better. I agree his current style of play is not sustainable in the longer term and against certain teams but GSW has great shooters, they only need someone who can get to the RIM with relative ease and can defend, they need that guy who can dominate in the paint against anyone, in Giannis they'll have all that and even more. You know he is good friends with Steph off the court and they share the same agency so I believe it is the most logical move for GSW in order for them to return to championship contention. steady986: |
You got some balls mate but I think it will be a LAL vs LAC coming from a GSW megafan. I don't see how GSW will get to the finals cos I don't see them beating either LAC or LAL, both teams are just looking too good right now with players that have alot to prove. This season for GSW is to build, get Giannis next summer (which will happen otherwise the Bucks risk losing him for nothing the year after which is basically why GSW may have acquired Russell). But the biggest loser to me in all of this is KD. He listened to all that media talk and look where that got him. Even if he will get an easy road to the finals out East, any team, I repeat, any team that comes out of the WEST over the next 4 years (barring any serious injuries) will have that Nets team for breakfast, i don't care if its GSW, Rockets, Lakers or Clippers. If he was feeling some kind if guilt by playing in a stacked team, guess what LAC and LAL are even way more stacked. He should have stayed in GSW, made way more money and beaten these teams. But then decision already made, one I feel he will live to regret. KNIGHTBlaed: |
I'll give you this season beat all you want. But don't worry Giannis is coming to GSW next summer and you can write this down somewhere. RiskelWillow: |
They won't do shit. Goodluck with them trying to find a balance between two guards who need the ball in their hands to shine. I do not fancy their chances this summer or the next one. It will be LAL vs LAC in the WCF and I strongly favour LAC to be victorious. KNIGHTBlaed: |

Agreed. However, you must understand this, anyone in a position of authority and power as Baba Adeboye is, is morally obligated to speak up and take stands on issues as it affects the country. Look, the way I see it, if I had his podium and his microphone, I would use it every single time I can to speak up issues affecting the country. Maybe not in a way that criticises leaders (come to think of it, do we even have leaders, all we have are hustlers in positions of power) so as not to polarise Nigerians but surely in a way that helps change the mentality and mindset of Nigerians. You need to understand that a better Nigeria should translate to a better society and a better church. I have always said this in private that Pastors ought to take public stands on social issues as it affects all not just on religious issues as it affects a few. Respected Pastors such as Baba have the ear of these so-called Politicians (who never want to hear the truth), he has to impress it upon them at every chance he gets just how bad things and how worse they will continue to be if nothing is done. In doing this, they will truly win the respect and adoration of the common man and may well even win more souls for christ. All of what I said above, does not take into account if Baba does have these discussions in private with these politicians. saheedbadmus: |
You still don't get it do you. You are looking at this whole thing naively. The real agenda is for the Fulani to take over the Southern part of Nigeria. It is simply why, despite the Northern States signing onto the RUGA scheme, it was cancelled. Do you think if the Southern States had signed on, it would have been cancelled or suspended or whatever? I don't know why we all do not have an appreciation of history nor do we understand that history has a way of repeating itself over and over again. How did the Yoruba lose what is known today as Kwara state? How did the minority tribes in the North lose their ethnic identity over time? What is the origin of the Fulani people? How did they end up in what is known as modern day Nigeria and other countries across Africa? What have been their activities since? When you understand these, coupled with the rhetoric and body language of the Fulanis in Nigeria since inception, you will have understood the real motive behind RUGA and why Southern Nigerians and the minority tribes of the North are against it. eabby: |
You forgot to add that the Yorubas voted for PDP in 2003 and somewhat in 2007. On this subject of voting, from 1999 till date, I think the Yorubas have shown a clear willingness to vote for either party more than possibly any other region has and I do not say this as a Yoruba man, the facts speak for themselves. But in my opinion, the choices made by either tribe if successful, would have still led us right here to where we are today. Nigeria is so damaged to the point where I'll never put my faith in one man from any region as the solution to our problems. Now I will never castigate any SE or SS for voting for a particular party. People, all over the world and not just in Nigeria, vote for parties and candidates whom they feel will best represent their interests. They may be dogmatic in their choice, they may be foolish in their choice but it is their choice nonetheless and if we are to ever move forward as a society then we need to respect such choices and if possible be willing to fight to safeguard the right for such choices to be made (i.e the right to vote and have free and fair elections). The way I see it, the whole damn thing is a sham. We are all here fighting for what exactly? Bragging rights? Some misguided belief that mine is better than yours or I am wiser than you are? The truth is if we had stronger states or regions with more autonomy, we would not be having this silly conversation. And I believe we will have moved forward each region in it's own way, than this slow motion that we all are forced to be a part of. LegendHero: |
Sure. But the families should press on with the lawsuits and reject any form of further compensation really. If they really do care and want to prevent a repeat of this, they should insist on pressing criminal charges that will land those who are found guilty in jail. But then, I know I am just talking to myself in this regard. MrBrownJay1: |
If we are to follow your misinformed analogy then it means Pakistan would have long armed the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups affiliated with its government. The fact is if Iran possesses nuclear weapons today, it will only be as a deterrent to the US and other world powers, similar to what North Korea is doing. No one is arming any terrorist with any nuclear weapon, mind you Saudi Arabia is the one covertly financing Pakistan's nuclear program and Saudi Arabia have long been linked with terrorist groups ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Why don't these groups have nuclear weapons already? Stop spreading your ignorance. A nuclear Iran simply means one less country for the US to go to war with. That is a headache for the US cos they have to continually justify their humongous military budget plus spread their reign of fear and terror through the world. Devgod: |
Agree with you. But might I add that while from his body language Tinubu is in full support of these RUGA settlements in the SW (because it favours his or his cronies ambition for presidency), he knows the SW public will eat him alive and make him pay come election time. Which is why as you see since the time he made that stupid comment about RUGA not being a big deal in the SW he has quiet down. However the truth is I have no faith in the leaders of the SW or any leader from any part of the country for that matter. These so-called leaders are only making noise so they can get a cut of the largesse, give them a billion each and they'll start singing a different tune, they are sell-out plain and simple. And politicians will always do what they have to do to stay relevant and keep winning. This is their first loyalty, all others are inconsequential. The people have got to start looking out for themselves. It remains to be seen how the SWesterners will fight to resist this attempt being foisted upon them. But there is one thing I know for certain, Buhari, Tinubu and every other so-called leader who is trying to bring about war on the land because of their own ambition, their day will come and it will not be good. InvertedHammer: |
That n*gga ain't 19, he looks 39. harkandey: |
If the Southern States of Nigeria accept this arrangement to have RUGA settlements, based on what we know of our collective history I think it will be safe to conclude and say bye-bye to our collective homes. I know the SS and SE will reject this and fight tooth and nail to ensure it does not happen but I can not trust its leaders, but I trust the average man on the street of the SS and SE. I can equally trust the average man and leader in my region the SW, to accept this without question. It is sad to say this but I have to admit that these current crop (and even past) Yoruba leaders will put their bellies and aims above the welfare and future of their states. If this stands, it will be the beginning of the end. This is not fear mongering, this is not a rumour. This is happening right before our very own eyes. What we are seeing manifesting is the fulanis age long plan to takeover the whole of Nigeria. oolametro: |
I agree with all you have said and might I add that while I do not wish harm on anyone or any tribe, if this is what it will take for my people (not the so-called leaders who have and continue to sell us out, I mean the average man on the streets of SouthWest Nigeria) to wake up from their slumber and embrace restructuring and support for a sovereign and autonomous region, then so be it. I am from Ekiti by the way and feel free to check my previous posts as i have been and always will be consistent on this topic. stefanbanach: |
And who told you Saraki is/was not everything that you have just described here. This is one of the problems we have in Nigeria. Now you've got over 130 likes from ignoramus such as you. Is Saraki now a hero? How the hell did he run Kwara state? Is it not similar to what Tinubu is doing in Lagos? What other aspiring political godfathers, such as Rochas and Amosun, seek(ed) to do? Saraki being out was just a simple matter of one godfather fighting the other. Saraki is a Tinubu wannabe. I do not like Tinubu and I do not like Saraki. Both men have at times in the history of this country, been saddled with the responsibility of governance. Both men have failed woefully. The only thing we can clearly say they have been successful at is amassing power and wealth for themselves and their cronies at the expense of the majority of their constituents. These men are a symptom of what is wrong with our so-called democracy. All nigerian politicians, from across all ethnicities and religious persuasion ought not to draw one drop of pity or empathy from the ordinary Nigerian. Regardless of their seeming differences, they are all evil men who do not want this country to progress as expressed by their actions at various times and instances. It is only when we all stand to condemn these wicked souls that we can have some semblance of hope for a better tomorrow either as a divided or as one entity. But if we continue to pick this one over that one, if we continue to say cream colour and white are the same, then I do not see how it can be well with Nigeria. Nbote: |
