magicminister:JOKER!!! What even makes you feel that Sowore will do well as a president? |
Olugbayi:Your whole write up is rubbish. Let me ask you, did SW overwhelmingly vote for Buhari? 53% to Buhari and 47% to Atiku shouldn't give you any bragging rights in Buhari's victory. Talking about playing second fiddle, that's exactly what your people have been doing since 2015 with the hope of 2023 presidency returning to SW. Despite Buhari sidelining Tinubu after winning in 2015, he was still willing to support Buhari in 2019 cos of the hope of 2023. Since the South cannot unite, the North will keep using us. I can tell you that by 2023, northern leaders will align with SE/SS again and take over power through PDP. They are already positioning themselves for 2023 with the current election outcome. In 2015, only 2 northern states went to PDP. Now, there are going to be 5 states (Sokoto, Bauchi, Benue, Taraba and Adamawa). By 2023, they will overwhelmingly vote for PDP cos there won't be any Sai Baba factor. If the South should unite, then it should be under PDP not APC. SE/SS are completely PDP. Even the SW has a strong PDP presence especially when you remember that 47% of SW votes went to PDP last month. Also, do I need to remind you that as at 2003, 5 out of the 6 SW states were ruled by PDP? You guys should stop making it seem like there's no PDP in your region. |
Doc, We respect your political views and respect Atiku you supported. Kindly respect our love and admiration for our darling Daddy (PMB) also please! We all can't have the same political view or morals. Almost 16 MILLION people cannot be wrong. Have a blessed week ahead Doc!
![]() Have a blessed week too. |
He will be the first to graduate in his family??!! Oh, her tweet is worth it then. That feeling and feat is outta this world! And the responses are so overwhelming. Love makes the world go round and round and round. Let us heal the wolrd with our kind acts and make it a better place. Say no to any form of hatred and bitterness. Peace out!
Outside politics, you often sound very reasonable. Your seemingly irrational support for Buhari is what I find it difficult to accept about you. |
tesppidd:And you think you made sense. Nigerian GDP was rebased in Jonathan's tenure, and that was when sectors like telecoms, entertainment industry etc were captured. It shot up the GDP thereby drastically reducing the contribution of agriculture. That's d explanation for that sharp decline in Jonathan's era. |
kheny12:...leading to his death at the hospital he was rushed to. It was an obvious typo. |
Rajman45:Shut up there. Are there more Igbos complaining about Kano election than Kano indigenes? The way you APC guys are interested in Rivers State election is the same way other PDP guys are interested in Kano election. More so, there are many Igbos living and doing business in Kano. Any violence in Kano can easily be turned into Igbo killing affair by you blood suckers. |
Rajman45:Is it that you guys don't have conscience or what? Didn't APC win Plateau? Did anybody complain? People are only complaining cos of the manner of election conducted yesterday in Kano. 2 weeks ago, there was a peaceful election in Kano when the entire state voted. Yesterday, only a few PUs had election yet it was violence galore. Is it too hard to see why people are complaining? Kayode Ogundamisi, Kadaria Ahmed and even Bashir Ahmad have all condemned what happened in Kano yesterday. Kano people and several other northerners are crying out on Twitter. Why are you making it seem like it's about SS and SE? |
With Osun election tribunal : Democracy is safe! With Kano Re-run election : Democracy is in Danger!! [b] PDP and wailing when result is not going their way sha! Now they want another re-run re-run! Another re-scheduled reschedule!! Another supplementary supplementary election!!! ODIEGWU!!
Why is nobody complaining about Plateau? Wasn't it won by APC? |
HeroicMeastro:There is nothing to learn from Nigerian this regard. It's just like saying they will learn from Nigeria on how to reward political office holders since Nigerian politicians are among the highest paid in the world. A country grappling with poor and inadequate transport infrastructure shouldn't be focused on comfort first. The primary focus is to increase the total number of people that can be moved per time. |
DoTheNeedful:It was 26k difference. If what happened today which videos we saw, and which has been condemned by APC supporters like Ogundamisi and even Kadaria Ahmed is what you're celebrating, then shame on you. APC is winning Plateau and nobody is complaining, cos they were already leading, and we didn't hear of widespread violence. Even if APC wins Sokoto and Bauchi, there won't be much complaints cos the supplementary elections were so far peaceful. What happened in Kano today is not an election. It's just like what APC did in Osun last year and in Rivers 2 weeks ago. |
Stevewonder004:Thanks for the compliment. |
Stevewonder004:Buhari didn't initiate the bill. It was brought up by the Saraki-led National Assembly and after passing the 3rd reading, it was dropped on Buhari's table for him to sign. Thankfully, he didn't reject it. If that's why you're praising him, then you need to pause and think, cos even a goat would have been able to sign the same bill if the goat was the president and could write. |
HeroicMeastro:Even the passenger trains in UK, China, Japan etc don't have such coaches. Why waste a coach that should ordinarily sit about 70 people on less than 30 people? Won't the essence of the rail service which is for mass movement of people be defeated? |
ChristianNorth:Before you guys will finish the first tenure of that next 8 years, SE/SS and SW would have swallowed their pride and agreed to work together. They will definitely get NC to join them and crumble the power the North wields. The only strength the North has is in their numbers (which are mostly over-inflated). |
As much as I wish this judgement can be upheld up to the Supreme Court level, I sincerely don't expect much from Adeleke if he eventually gets sworn in as the governor of Osun State. He really can't do much for the people of Osun. The state is broke at the moment, and the man himself (Adeleke) doesn't seem to be that smart. |
ChristianNorth:Bro, this isn't right at all. Even though I don't support APC, I feel very bad over this. It's grossly unfair to all southerners irrespective of our political divide. How can the North rule us for 16 straight years? Maybe at the end of that 16 years, they will team up with Yorubas again in APC and take another 8 years. It's unfair!!! |
jericco1:Changes nothing. He will be reinstated as CJN, and will sit over the Supreme Court case between Buhari and Atiku. |
Thought they already commissioned it? |
MVLOX:This is a 2015 thread showing some public schools in Anambra State: https://www.nairaland.com/2771317/anambra-state-public-schools-best |
Lymasaba:Then the op should have given us a link to that. I can't start jumping up and down cos 3 schools were renovated. Also, I hope the effort is spread to all the rural communities of Borno, not just Maiduguri. As governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi built and equipped computer labs and bought mini buses for all secondary schools in the state. That's d kind of stuff I'm talking about – widespread government intervention. |
MVLOX:Nigerians are easy to psychologically manipulate. They showed you pictures of 3 schools which were renovated in Maiduguri, and you guys can't even think again. Is there any capital city in Nigeria that doesn't have well built secondary schools? They should show us pictures of schools in rural areas of Borno State. Moreover, it's only 3 schools we can see here. |
Unlimitk:It then means Lagos would have had the highest prevalence in the South West since Igbos claim to be numerous in Lagos. Perhaps, Lagos should have been top 10. |
yarimo:YARIMO, from your name, we shall yes you. ![]() |
nijabazaar:But the article said intelligence is transferred from MOTHERS to their children. You cited cases of intelligent MEN who didn't produce intelligent children. You therefore haven't made any effort to refute the claims of the article. You should only tell us about prominent intelligent WOMEN who had dull children. That way, you would have successfully argued against the claims of the research. |
nijabazaar:Maybe you should consider the wives they married since the article said intelligence is inherited from mothers not fathers. ![]() |
SamuelAnyawu:Lol. Ubah will even join APC very soon. |
Kachi4christ:Atiku won in Adamawa. More so, Michika is a Christian-dominated area in Adamawa and they voted massively against Buhari. |
SamuelAnyawu:He can't become the Senate President. Stop dreaming. |
senatordave1:But Kano and Bauchi governors also lost in many areas Buhari won. How do you explain that? |
schoolboij:You just displayed your senselessness by the statement in bold. Why call me and my people fools? Did I abuse you or your tribe? If you are democratic and don't vote in one direction, then stop making all the noise about APC. You guys gave 53% votes to Buhari. That's just a little above half of your votes. Atiku that your people love to insult and link to Igbos had a whopping 47% of your votes despite all your mockery against PDP. Your relevance to APC is almost zero. As a matter of fact, even if you gave 95% of your votes to Atiku last month, Buhari would still have won. |
Mosesm:55% for Buhari in 2015 and just 53% in 2019 is technically betrayal. Even Atiku won 2 states in Yoruba land. |
