NYSCRe: Photos Of Akwa-Ibom Corper Who Fainted & Died On The Football Pitch (Graphic) by kinguwem: 12:50pm On Mar 25, 2017
crackhouse:
It's very obvious the doctor is incompetent. He don't know what to do so he had to disappear. It's an emergency that he can't handle. Most of our doctors only know how to treat headache and malaria. Anything aside that is a big challenge and calls for God's intervention.
They only play away their time in school only to graduate and be called a doctor.
Shame!!!!
We're very hasty to post comments usually without proper information. There're a lot of issues here. Generally, we take a lot of issues for granted and expect miracles in return.
Firstly, it is not wise to organize a sporting event without involving a medical team. That crucial first aid on the pitch would've made a difference. No ambulance was stationed for any emergency.
Secondly, no system is functioning properly in this country yet we expect miracles in hospitals especially the general hospitals. There is no standard protocol for management of emergencies in this country. No coordinated ambulance services nor paramedics.
Finally, everybody including corps members should go for regular medical check up. Those involved in sports should have a baseline blood pressure, blood sugar check and ECG.

HealthRe: She Has Been Menstruating For Over 2 Weeks, Please Help! by kinguwem: 3:19pm On Feb 13, 2017
How old is she? Commonest cause of excessive menstrual bleeding is anovulation due to hormonal imbalance. She needs to see a doctor.
PoliticsRe: Joel Ikenya Joins APC, Dumps PDP by kinguwem: 5:26pm On Jan 23, 2017
He has committed political suicide. Taraba is PDP. Perhaps he needs a federal appointment. He doesn't have much relevance in Taraba politics.
PoliticsRe: Abbah Kyari Becomes The Youngest Assistant Commissioner Of Police In Nigeria by kinguwem: 1:31pm On Dec 30, 2016
ACP at 41 years is not a good record for the NPF. The Force Headquarters should do a research to find out why officers are aged before attaining a certain rank. The military has younger officers in the senior cadre.

PoliticsRe: $29.9billion Borrowing: FG To Go Ahead Despite Senate Rejection – Sen Ita Enang by kinguwem: 6:59pm On Dec 12, 2016
odogwubiafra:
Even if senate consents, IMF and World Bank are already skeptical based on none availability of a viable economic blue print. When you allow your IGR to extinct just because you can borrow from foreign source, you will surely get punished. The foreign sources are not partial, they MUST be sure of your credibility, repayment plan before disbursements. They don't play politics with their economy like Nigeria.

Unless is WEMA bank that will lend them the money. Just LOL!
The IMF & World Bank will give the FG the loan. The loan will enable them to underdevelop us & take over our economy through policies they will detect to the FG.

When shall we cease to hear the news of these evil activities of the Boko Haram sect in this country. When we are thinking that they have been defeated, all of a sudden, we hear of another deadly attack.
Terrorism is associated with religious beliefs. We should de-emphasize religion in our national politics.

So we cannot pay our Super Eagles Coach his monthly salary in a country where our National Assembly Members take home monthly is Thrice Rohr's Salary cry cry cry
What is special about a foreign coach. It obvious the NFF doesn't have the capacity to attract sponsors. In this recession the NFF cannot afford a foreign coach. Lets develop & motivate our local coaches.
CareerRe: Nigeria Army Promotes Senior Officers by kinguwem: 7:45am On Dec 10, 2016
Good development by the Nigerian Army. Efforts should made to improve the welfare of the officers & men. Also the welfare of deceased officers families & the ex-service men should also be a priority. God bless them & the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
NYSCRe: FG To Exhume Late Corper's Body For Autopsy by kinguwem: 11:07pm On Dec 08, 2016
Our politicians are daft. They speak in public on sensitive issues without consultation with professionals. Autopsy should've been done immediately she died or the corpse preserved for that purpose. As far as I'm concern, the NYSC has something to hide. The situation is embarassing. In the civilized society, the DG of NYSC should have resigned. There is an urgent need for all corps members to be insured. All NYSC camp facilities including camp clinics must be upgraded. An experienced medical practitioner should head all camp clinics.

We christians are very gullible esp. the Northern christians
The bible is the gold standard. We gooved by towing the practice of prilgrimmage which has no spiritual but tourism purposes. A word is enough for the wise.

PoliticsRe: Bill To Establish Christian Court In Nigeria Scales Second reading by kinguwem: 8:19pm On Dec 06, 2016
These people are not slick!!! Even a newborn can see through this act... Christian court? Maka why? Mr Dung has too much time on his hands!! I hope this is not a backhanded attempt to smuggle Sharia into national jurisprudence!!![/quote]The northern christians need to align with bethrens in the south. They lack exposure & because of poverty are more comfortable with the heathens. This bill is irrelevant & has no spiritual nor biblical significance. Christians should not be cowed to a corner. We're all nigerians. The christian pligrimage which is more of a tourist than spiritual exercise refers.
PoliticsRe: Chinedu Nebo: Nigeria Is Angry With Igbos' Growth, Development by kinguwem: 11:00am On Dec 05, 2016
The Igbos are their problem. Prof. Nebo has been given several opportunities to develop his people. He is a former VC of UNN, a former Minister of Power etc. The igbos are not united. They have not determined their destiny. Their priority is making money. The igbos occupied sensitive positions under GeJ but chickened out during the last general elections. They need political re-orientation & re-alignment.
PoliticsRe: 2019 Presidency: North Rules Out Blanket Support For Buhari.. by kinguwem: 8:20am On Dec 05, 2016
kunle86:
So everybody believed that? lets wait till then and see. But Buhari isn't our problem but we are problem of ourselfs. Many things are made in nigeria but we exploit ourself by selling them in high cost to gain multiple profit.
It still boils down to leadership. With the right policies they will be no speculations & panic. Buhari is a bad market but do we have a credible & acceptable alternative? The same sentiments in 2015 will apply in 2019.
EducationRe: University Dumps Students' Projects In The Trash (Photo) by kinguwem: 8:14pm On Dec 04, 2016
Which University did that? Very appalling. This incident should be investigated. Is it that the library is full or the books are not worth keeping in the achives. The educational system needs a review from top to bottom.
PoliticsRe: We’ve Paid Some Fulani To Stop Killings In Southern Kaduna – El-rufai by kinguwem: 11:19am On Dec 03, 2016
The fulani herdsmen were not the only people killed in 2011 postelection violence. Why is El Rufai paying bandits for killing nigerians. What is unfoiling may be an ethnic cleansing aimed at reducing the population of Kaduna South.
NYSCRe: Corper Ifedolapo Oladepo Did Not Die In Kano Camp - NYSC Shares Story by kinguwem: 8:46pm On Dec 02, 2016
The incident is unfortunate. The NYSC should be more responsible than this. As a medical practitioner who was once a NYSC doctor, sincerely speaking the Camp Clinic provided for corps members is substandard & poorly equiped. Services of experienced general practitioners should be engaged to supervise the NYSC doctors in running the clinic. All Camp Clinics should have a functional ambulance for transportation of referred cases to an affiliated hospital.
Secondly, could she have had a drug reaction since she developed rashes after an injection was given? From my own point of view there was delay in instituting appropriate medical management due to the inexperience of the camp doctors or delay in taking appropriate decision by the camp officials & doctors.
Finally, what is the certified cause of death. An autopsy should be done to confirm the cause of death. All NYSC Camp Clinics should be equiped with basic life saving facilities and the services of experienced medical doctors in affiliated hospitals should be engaged in the management of the clinics.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria will not seperate, People suing for Biafra should drop the idea - Buhari by kinguwem: 11:34am On Dec 02, 2016
What Nigeria needs is true federalism. We should be free to stay with one another. Buhari started badly by calling the SE/SS insignificant 5%. The resultant effect of that statement on the nation's economy is obvious. We should not be afraid of discussing national issues openly & to seek for a referendum if necessary. The elders don't usually consult their people & therefore do not have the mandate of the people.
PoliticsRe: NASS Wants Financial Autonomy For Lgas, State Assemblies by kinguwem:
dingbang:
Even if the Nass grants autonomy to the local govt, there will still be loopholes.
Are we sure they are ready for this. Some years ago, state legislators under the leadersship of Hon. Istifanus Gbana rejected financial autonomy. Our local politicians are desperate for political offices to earn money. They are willing tools in the hands of the governors & political godfathers.

HungerBAD:
A problem acknowledged,is a problem half solved.

Now that the Nigerian Government knows, that most of those piloting the affairs of the Country's financial matters, ordinarily should not there, then the needful should be done,so we can move on.
We wasted so much time blaming GEJ. The truth has been revealed. We love imported goods. Imported expensive boxes were bought for the President's daughter recently. I still respect OBJ & NOI for always wearing Nigerian wax.

PoliticsRe: Reps Move To Bar Acting President, Governor From Second term by kinguwem: 8:16am On Dec 01, 2016
kelvinreality:
This issue should not be their major concern at this stage. What about if the acting ptesidentvor governor has the required capacity to move the nation forward?

Our leaders should look at more pressing issue other than the appointment of position (s).
These guys have problems. Do deputies usually kill their bosses? They are trying to encorage mediocrity. Public interest is not their concern but who becames a President or Governor.
PoliticsRe: Lawyers Want Buhari To Sack Emefiele, CBN Governor by kinguwem: 8:02am On Dec 01, 2016
The Arewa lawyers are myopic & I presume they are acting a script. I expected them to speak about the corruption in the judiciary, the militancy in the Niger Delta & the effect on the economy. I'm really disappointed.
PoliticsRe: Militants Blow Up NPDC/ND Western In Otu-Jeremi by kinguwem: 3:44pm On Nov 28, 2016
Progressive01:
I find it confusing when these kids keep saying "Buhari should dialogue with blaablabla". What dialogue hasnt been beld with these criminals or the "elders" from the region? Or perhaps, their own definition of dialogue means mr President should crawl on his belly down to the creeks and give the terrorists a Mouth Action just to massage their ego?

They should blow up everything in sight in the region if that cures their headache jor. Yet to see how thats gonna deplete any big man's salary. Na their mothers and fathers go suffer am.

And the same nonentities who celebrate these acts of terrorism would be the ones gnashing their teeths over the state of the economy tomorrow.

Keep bombing boys. You are doing an awesome job! smiley

Edit: Any nonentity who doesnt like my comment can go screw his mother. I still Wouldnt care. smiley
You wouldn't care because you don't know the effect of the activities of these boys on the economy. I presume you're unemployed & someone is feeding you. If you've responsibilities you wouldn't be making such comments.

Babachir Lawal spent millions of Naira in mowing lawns at Aso rock and we can't spend millions to upgrade our educational institutions, this happens when an a Tyrant is in power.
ASUU is not demanding upgrade of any facilities but earned allowances. If ASUU refuses to be on IPPIS are they not encouraging ghost workers. If ASUU rejects TSA are they not encouraging corruption. ASUU needs to look inwards. Research is the solution. Numerous problems no solution. Meanwhile TETFUND releases a lot of money for training of lecturers abroad yearly. Let's be honest, the prductivity of our academics is low.
