What did these group of grandpas forget in office that they are so desperate to get back? They should have retired from partisan politics & became elder statesmen. The youths should be given opportunities to serve the nation. |
This is a cock & roaster story. The woman is either psychotic or is trying to deceive the husband. The health workers are either quacks or grossly negligent of their duties.. It is a serious professional malpractice to open up a woman's abdomen for a caesarean section when there is no pregnancy. The health workers should be investigated. |
If beer parlours are closed, the rate of unemployment will increase & the crime rate will increase. |
The Lion of Africa. |
ASUU has lost relevance. The earlier they call off the strike, the better. The future of our youths are at stake. All they are looking for is extra allowances. |
The person that posted the pictures is new in Jalingo. There are some fine places like the stadium, the secretariat, Taraba motels, the Mile 6 Housing Estate and some shopping malls. There are also some settlements that are worse than the market area. |
fasho01: If ASUU had made a statement about the 7-days mourning, all this wouldn't have happened. Don't know why they choose to keep everyone in the dark & cause all this raised hopes in the first placeASUU is not in a haste to call off the strike because they shall be paid their salaries. Nigerians must change their orientation. |
Michael Jackson - MJ speechless - The girl is mine - Liberian girl - Billie Jean - Smooth Criminal Tina Turner Iyanya - Kukere Psquared -e no easy Marie Carey - Hero |
Oyinola is confused. I thought he is a member of the nPDP. What did he forget in the PDP secretariat? |
bloggernaija: That is what you get in an animal farm.Mind your language. |
PHCN must be unbundled for there to be light in Nigeria. The FG must pay their severence allowances, but there is no going back on the privatization process. |
It is wrong for a partner to undergo a project without consulting the other. This situation usually arises when couples don't trust each other or have ulterior motives. The extended family system does not help matters because a lot of relatives are dependent a fews others that are doing well. If everybody is up & doing, they will be no need to be secretive. |
nlMediator: In developed countries, doctors are not required to conduct abortion. Doctors specialize and a woman would be foolish to go to doctors that do not specialize in pregant women's issues (OB/GYN) to have an abortion. Even with that, there are clinics that specialize in abortion. I do not imagine anybody suing successfully against a doctor for refusing to conduct an abortion. The closest I know are pharmacists being sued for refusing to dispense prescribed abortion medication on the basis of conscience.Abortions can be performed by gynaecologists & general practitioners. The main problem against legalization of abortion in Nigeria is religious fanatism & hypocrisy. Liberal abortion laws will expose to the public what is usually done secretly. The advantage of legalisation of abortion is the reduction of maternal mortality & complications of unsafe abortions. Relogious fanatics & moralists think that legalization of abortion will lead to promiscuity & increase in sexually transmitted infections which can be controlled by sex education & use of condoms. |
Wsdm: I pity the poor Nigerian army been killed everyday for an ungrateful country called Nigeria. What is your suggestion? Negotiations! The Israelis & Americans are experts in fighting terrorism. They don't negotiate with them, they take them down. |
~Bluetooth:What of the elites with responsible background, are they also not treasury looters? |
Several factors affect the outcome of a caesarean section. The outcome of an elective operation is usually better than that of an emergency operation because of better preparation. The experience of the surgeon & the standard of the operating facilities is very important. The indication for the operation, the clinical condition of the patient & other associated medical conditions e.g. Obesity, diabetes mellitus, chronic cough e.t.c. affects the outcome of the operation. Infected wounds are associated with wound break-down, longer hospital stay & pevic pains from adhesions. |
fkaz: With Religion and ethnicity @ play in governance, nigeria won't surviveI though federal character is about representation of states & geo-political zones. Is religious & ethnic representation part of federal character? Mediocrity should not be supported in any form. |
Tuntheycr7: Could I said that was a little negligence from the mother. The child was dehydrated. Mothers should give their kids enough water in warm weather. The mother was negligent. The child died from heat exhaustion. |
In 2007 I was driving a Benz 230E from Jalingo to Calabar. I decided to follow the convoy of a governor close to Adikpo. While slowing down at a junction my car was hit at the back by a Honda Ala owned by a Hon. House of Rep. member. The best he did for me was to give me N15,000. What a stingy fellow? I still arrived Calabar safely. I spent about N100,000 to repair the car including re-painting. Since then, I don't follow conveys again. |
Most door-to-door medical personnel apart from those on routine immunization are quacks. They could be dangerous. Beware! |
The NLC has lost focus. Of what benefit is their proposed solidarity strike to the common man. Increased involvement of the private section in the funding of education is a solution to the lingering crisis. The lecturers have piles of degrees but no initiatives to regenerate resources to run the educational institutions. Over-dependence on government subvention is a problem. |
Coldfeet: Its unfortunate that people will continue to suffer for what they no nothing about! Now the Church will be compensated and if not they just have to count their losses! Yet the person or ministry that gave the go ahead to build on a water way will not be sanctioned! He or she or them will simply continue issuing such permits and later the government will come and demolish!!! SMH where were they when the building was being constructed? The property owner shouldn't suffer alone whoever issued the permit to build there should be held accountable as well!! Cos the land ministry has the blueprint of any area and should know where to build and where not to.Did they verify from experts before building on a water channel? |
Most plane crashes are due to pilot error followed by mechanical failure. The major problem with the Aviation Ministry in Nigeria is the lack of rapid emergency response when there is a disaster. |
Most University Administrators are not resourceful. Apart from looting government subventions they don't know what to do to attract sponsors to their institutions. They is no advantage in appointing a professor a VC. They should be returned to the classrooms while seasoned administrators should be appointed to run the universities. |
Donmams: We know BH cannot frustrate Nigeria. What we don't know is what are you doing Mr. President, to frustrate Boko Haram?!Security is everybody's business. The Northern elders unwittingly invited terrorist to their region during the post-election violence in 2001. Dislodging them will take years. All hands must be on deck to achieve any meaningful success. |
The North-East is a failed zone. Gideon Orkar was right. The earlier the Zone is ostracized, the better. |
Why does a group of people who cannot take care of themselves want to rule a country! Reigion without education is barbarism. Any group of people that shun knowledge is cursed. This is their true colour. GEJ & the FG is trying seriously to reduce the illiteracy rate in the North while the barbarians are destroying the future of the youths. Tomorrow some irresponsible elders will say they are agrieved. The evil that men do lives with them. God will punish these barbarians & their sponsors. Nothing good shall come out of them & their offsprings. They shall die horribly & the dogs & vultures shall devour their corpses. |
Caleboha: Nigerians celebrate mediocrity. We hold tribal and religious affiliation dear. Many of southern extraction believe he did excellently even though they know deep within them that they exude more confidence, poise and intelligence than their commander in chief. They give him no room for improvement as they insist he is excellent despite obvious lapses. I miss OBJ. It was swt fun bk then. I held no fears of my president embarrassing me on national TVHas Nigeria ever had a President nigerians were proud of before? We are use to abusing & embarassing our leaders. For record purposes, GEJ has performed more than previous leaders despite the security challenges. |
utumunta: This is a good development! Let the states begin to learn how to be self-dependent. Now, we know why a section of the country are proponents of "One Nigeria". They cannot sustain themselves without the free oil money from the FG.I support you absolutely. The governors are like beggars who go to the FG to get their meal. Fiscal federalism is the only way forward. How can a country have a large population of unproductive people including learned persons? As far as I'm concerned apart from few of them, the state governors have nothing to offer the people. |
franchizy: In as much as I do not support the killing, I have said it over and over that the declaration of state of emergency or military option is not the panacea to solving the Boko Haram menace. You're on your own. You're not well informed about the dreaded group. You need to be educated about the international terrorist organization. |
This problem exists because your father did not write a will. All parents should be encouraged to do so. What was your father's instructions before he died? Your mother should answer this question. Usually in most cultures, the first male child is the administrator of the family estate if a man died inestate. However, if a family is united, a sharing formula can be adopted after a series of meetings. Finally, no property is worth dying for. If you work hard, you can get one. |
fegflu: TRAC,....The C240 has 6 cylinders like the C320. They look alike in appearance. The C320 engine has a higher torgue than that of the C240. |
