Good job by the Nigerian Army. My concern is that only 2 rifles were recovered & the report states that 10 terrorists were killed in a fierced battle. Meaning a lot of them escaped with weapons. |
Rhesus Isoimmunization is a common cause of intrauterine foetal death & neonatal jaundice. The indirect coomb's test can determine whether a pregnant women was sensitize from a previous pregnancy. The anti-D immunoglobins will not be very useful for a mother that is already sensitized by the foetal antigens. The other reason a women can be sensitized is through the transfusion of a rhesus negative woman with a rhesus positive blood. In cases of emergencies where a rhesus negative blood is not available for a rhesus negative patient, a rhesus positive blood of the same blood group or O rhesus positive blood can be transfused to save the patient's life. Before the transfusion the patient or her guardian must be counseled of the consequences & an informed consent obtained. |
That is the reason why each police patrol team should have a dog |
We should let her be. A successful lady without a husband or child in Africa is seen as a prostitute. However, conceiving before wedlock is an acceptable practice as long as the father of the baby has accepted responsibility. Age is not on her side & she is playing her game well. I wish her the best. |
Do you run a blood transfusion service in your lab. or you just store donated blood pending when the recipient will be transfused. If that is the case you lost the patient because he did not have donors. You don't release blood donated to a specific recipient to another if you're not sure of getting another donor to replace the blood. |
Deltayankeeboi:You've a low IQ. I suspect you're a lower cadre member of JOHESU. Comprehending a simple report is difficult for you. I'll not blame you, evil minded people rarely appreciate good gestures. |
Health workers are not supposed to go on strike except there's is a threat to life while on duty or there's no work place safety. Paramedics are very useful in health care delivery but cannot function without medical doctors who're in-charge of the health team. The doctors should be commended for attending to the striking JOHESU members who are on strike for frivolous reasons. No matter how big a domestic cat is, it cannot be called a lion. |
Very disappointing response. An incumbent President has an advantage during elections for obvious reasons. To be a President is not a do-or-die affair. The legacy of a man cannot be built with the blood of innocent citizens. |
Indication for the marriage: is he a widow, divorcée or a lazy Nigerian youth? |
Greene66:Who is the C-in-C? Why is an incompetent IGP still in office? Are the State Governors in charge of the security apparatus in their states? Nigeria is a failed federation. |
naturalwaves:Amen! |
The clergies are leaders of a sect of Christians in the North. Their leader, John Richard is not a renowned Christian leader in the country. The major problem with christian leaders in the North is that they find it difficult to liaise with their counterparts in the South on national issues. There are more comfortable with their feudal lords in the North. I'm disappointed that at a time when a lot of christains are slaughtered in the North by herdsmen they have decided to remain silent. Instead there are looking for funds from the FG to organize a prayer conference. Most of their members will be disappointed in their action. God does not do for man, what he his suppose to do for himself. It's a shame that men of God couldn't tell the President the truth when it mattered most. May could help us. Amen. |
fk001:Calling T. Y. Danjuma a fool shows you lack proper home training & your comment reveals you lack a proper comprehension of what is going on in Taraba State. The Fulani's are also a minority tribe in Taraba State. The crisis is the state involves the herdsmen & farming communities. Most times despite prior information of an attack, the security agencies do not respond on time. They usually go to the scene of the crisis after lives have been lost & property destroyed. In view of this, is it not better for the community to defend herself instead of depending on the security agencies? |
Good news. With modern fertility technology, post menopausal women can have babies through assisted conception: in-vitro fertilisation with donor eggs, use of surrogate mothers etc. The main setback is the cost of the procedures. Babies can also be adopted, bought or stolen. Anything can happen in this country. |
He's now a desperate politician looking for where to pitch his tent. He's OBJ's third term hatchman. He's saying nothing new. Election rigging is part of Nigeria's election process including mobilisation & registration of children to vote in the North. |
Very unfortunate situation. Really a time for sober reflection. It can happen to anybody. Our roads are terrible & most vehicles on the road are not road worthy. Rev. Dr. Ben Ubeh was a servant of God. He lived a fulfilled life. The Lord giveth & the Lord taketh. God knows why he allowed him to depart this sinful world through such a horrible way. I pray that God should give the entire bereaved family, his congregation , CAN, friends & associates the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. May his soul rest in peace. Amen. |
Tony Momoh's argument is vague. Is he the spokesman of the herders or Fulani's? A leader of a group of people stated that they wanted the anti-open grazing laws in Benue & Taraba States reversed otherwise hell will let loose. So why is Tony Momoh afraid of saying the truth? Politics! |
In a sane country, the President, the Ministers of Petroleum & the MD of NNPC would have resigned. This is Nigeria where anything goes. Nigeria is indirectly subsidizing fuel for neighbouring countries & we pretend all is well. The NNPC is not transparent on the subsidy issue. The corporation should be unbundled. |
That report is not from a trained sinologist nor a gynaecologist. Certain basic information is not in that report. The report is not letter-headed & is not signed. Advice: Please go to a hospital with a trained doctor. A missed abortion does not require an abortion but evacuation of the uterus. |
DavidEsq:The girl was not a minor, the bone of contention is the father of the baby. If the paternity test suggests the doctor is not the father, then who is the father? With such a sensitive issue, the delivery of the baby should have been in the hospital. What is the cause of death of the girl? Difficult to say without an auptosy. Very unfortunate situation. The doctor is involved in this case because he had crossed the professional line. |
David Mark is the best option. Why he is silent is still unknown. He should come up on board. |
The greatest problem with Nigerian politicians is lack of patriotism. If elders cannot speak the truth, the youths must not remain silent. PMB does not have want it takes to take nigerians to the promised land. The country is failing & new crises are coming up daily. The personal interests/survival of unproductive politicians should not be an issue of national interest. What the country needs is a patriot/statesman that can give us good leadership. |
Apination:You don't need to insult the man of God before making your point. Freedom of religion & association is a fundamental human right. If you're comfortable remaining there, good luck. |
Nigerians are generally ignorant of existing laws. The National Health Act !NHAct2014) which was signed into law by GEJ but has not been implemented is the solution to the management of accident victims. An unconscious patient needs treatment in an intensive care unit (ICU). How many hospitals in this country have a functional ICU. Road traffic accident (RTA) patients are supposed to be evacuated to trauma centres by paramedics in an ambulance. The FRSC officers are supposed to be called anytime there is an RTA. They have ambulances meant for evacuation of accident victims & they have trauma centres in some parts of the country. |
Very unfortunate situation. It can happen to anybody. It is always good to look out for children lying under or standing/crawling behind a car before reversing a vehicle. Accept my condolences. |
Need clearance/permit from the office of the NSA before purchasing and using an armoured SUV. |
If the FG cannot protect her citizens, then seeking the assistance of the UN is not a bad idea. Tiv land has been invaded by killer herdsmen under the pretext of opposing the anti-grazing law but the FG claims it is a communal clash between herdsmen & farmers. The Governor is handicapped because he does not control the security apparatus in his state. His armed guards were disarmed & arrested by security agents leaving the invaders to raid communities without hindrance. Are cows more precious than human lives? I hope this is not a covet ethnic cleansing. Time shall tell. |
The car looks clean, but the photos will look better if taken in a cleaner environment or a better car park. |
In Nigeria, election is a do or die process.

Very unfortunate situation. I hope the facility was insured. The managers should ensure that a voltage surge protector is provided when the facility is renovated. Secondly, they should use a POP ceiling with a smoke detector installed to raise an early alarm in the event of a fire outbreak. |
ZombieTAMER:Please don't display your ignorance online. Pastor Adeboye is different from Rev. Mbaka. |
Extra judicial killing is barbaric & portrays us as uncivilized people. There is failure of governance & break down of security in the country. The presence of the IGP in Benue State should forestall this kind of incident. Why was the Police overpowered by the youths & why are civilians moving freely with rifles? Nigeria is a failed country. |
