PoliticsRe: 30% Of Children In Northern Nigeria Are Street Beggars – Don by kinguwem: 10:35pm On Jan 15, 2013
Street begging will continue to be a problem in the north until the government tackles issues of corruption, illiteracy, religious fanatism & poverty. Women empowerment, family planning & poverty alleviation programmes should be introduced. The people also need prayers & deliverance to avert curses caused by murder of innocent people during religious & post election crises.
PoliticsRe: ANPP, CPC, ACN To Become One By April – Shekarau by kinguwem: 10:51am On Jan 12, 2013
Merger of political parties will not solve the problem of corruption, mediocrity, ethnicity, religious intolerance, nepotism etc. Nigerians need attitudinal change & proper orientation. The issues of national identity, true federalism, human rights, illiteracy, election rigging, godfatherism etc. should be addressed before nigerians can begin to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
HealthRe: A 20 Year Old Orphan Is Dying in Luth, Please Help Save His Life by kinguwem: 10:29am On Jan 12, 2013
The black race is cursed as evident by our behaviour. People are always ready to protest for increased wages, fuel subsidy & can even kill if their kinsman losses an election. Why can't nigerians protest & force the government to introduce & implement welfare schemes for the masses. There should be a welfare scheme & a health insurance programme for all nigerians. There should be functional dialysis centres in all states of the federation.
Popular personalities can easily attract appeal funds but indigent patients with no connections usually have problems in attracting donors.
Without an attitudinal change, there is no hope for a common man in this country.
FamilyRe: If Your Husband Asks You To Dress More Sexily At Home by kinguwem: 8:34pm On Jan 09, 2013
Bludeville: My friend came to me, she is a deeper life lady and she is married to a deeper life man. Recently he called her and told her that he wanted her to become more Sexy for him, to perm her hair, wear earrings and wear more appealing clothes like knee length skirts and even bum shorts when they are alone at home. She's confused. So my deeper life sisters, is it okay to dress like this when your husband asks you to, or would you not do so and risk losing your husband. Because she said she's confused.
The bible instructs wives to satisfy their husbands sexually & vice versa (I Corinthians 7:3). It is not a bad idea for her to dress sexily in their bedroom.
CelebritiesRe: How Bisi Komolafe Initially Escaped Death by kinguwem: 7:58pm On Jan 09, 2013
Baseless & irrelevant stories. The lady is dead, anybody can say anything. My observation is that women are becaming desperate for men & some men are generally lazy. Why should men depend on the income of their their lovers & sisters? They must be an attitudinal change.
CareerRe: Are Technicians Better Than Engineers In Nigeria? by kinguwem: 7:42pm On Jan 09, 2013
The solution to the problem is for engineers to be innovative. Most of them wait for white collar jobs & contracts. They should come up with inventions.
CareerRe: Are Technicians Better Than Engineers In Nigeria? by kinguwem: 7:40pm On Jan 09, 2013
The solution to the problem is for engineers to be innovative.
TV/MoviesRe: Nollywood Has Been Hijacked By Foreigners & TV Houses - Emeka Ike by kinguwem: 7:27pm On Jan 09, 2013
The situation is appalling. Electing an ex-convict as the President of AGN is criminal.
EntertainmentRe: Photos From Agbani Darego's 30th Birthday Party by kinguwem: 7:04pm On Jan 09, 2013
Is she not ready to settle down? At 30 years she should start rearing a new generation of beauty queens. Her time is far spent.
HealthRe: Nasarawa Conjoined Twins Eventually Die by kinguwem: 7:41pm On Jan 08, 2013
An autopsy should be done to determine the cause of death. They may be discoveries that may be useful in future management of such cases.
PoliticsRe: Reps Move To Curb Cbn’s Supervisory Role by kinguwem: 5:22pm On Jan 07, 2013
It's either the House of Representatives has lost focus or the members are still grief-stricken concerning the manner F. Lawan & co. were humilated for taking bribes.
Mediocrity has been taken to the highest level. The CBN should be allowed to perform her statutory function.
PoliticsRe: North Ready To Chase Jonathan Out Of Power In 2015 - Arewa by kinguwem: 11:02am On Jan 06, 2013
In Nigeria any calibre of person(s) can just wake up & make a statement. What is the meaning of the word north? Is he talking of the middle belt, the boko haram zones or the core north? Without sentiments nor bias, previous northern leaders & their cronies contributed to the decay of the nation's systems. To be fair, GEJ is doing well. Election is a game of numbers. You became a leader by winning elections & not by chasing someone else from office.
CelebritiesRe: Last Photo Of Bisi Komolafe In Hospital Before Her Death by kinguwem: 1:50pm On Jan 05, 2013
babyosisi: That is a teaching hospital ,one of the best in Nigeria
Supposedly where all the specialties that could save her are under one roof
I wonder what she died of
Most deaths in Nigeria are man made and preventable

I told someone that I have been the USA donkey years I have never heard of a woman that died in childbirth or from pregnancy complications
Not a single one I know,co worker o,church member o,friends o,neighbor o
I neither know one or ever heard of one from anyone I know
Yet it is everyday news in Nigeria
There is no place in the world that they are no pregnancy related deaths (maternal mortality). The difference is the maternal mortality rate which is high in developing countries esp. India & Nigeria & low in developed countries. In Nigeria the common causes of maternal mortality are obstetric haemorrhage, eclampsia, obstructed labour, sepsis, unsafe abortions, ectopic pregnancies & anaemia in pregnancy. In developed countries though maternal mortality is low, the common causes are sepsis, ectopic pregnancy, postpartum haemorrhage, thrombosis & amniotic fluid embolism.
FamilyRe: As A Man, Is It Proper To Know The Virginity Status Of Your 18+ Female Child. by kinguwem: 9:49am On Jan 05, 2013
Siena: Assuming she's got a mother.

As a father, it's very much my business, irrespective of whether my wife's around, or not. The fact is, some father's feel awkward asking certain questions, where they feel it's the wife's role. The role belongs to BOTH parents. Just the same way a mother can ask her son if he's still a virgin.

Parents should feel free with their children, regardless of gender. And children should also feel they can talk to their parents too.

That's my take on things, others may however see things differently.
Reproductive health & sex education should be introduced at homes & schools. A well informed girl is likely to conduct herself properly.
PoliticsRe: Kano Earmarks N100m For Mass Wedding by kinguwem: 4:25pm On Jan 04, 2013
Why are they so many divorcees & widows in that region? Poverty, illiteracy, diseases, religious & cultural beliefs are the major factors. These issues should be addressed to reduce the population of widows & divorcees.
PoliticsRe: Describe Nigeria In Few Sentences........... by kinguwem: 4:05pm On Dec 30, 2012
Nigeria is a country that rewards mediocrity & corruption. Religious intolerance, ethnicity, kidnapping, communal crisis, poverty, election rigging, illiteracy etc. is the order of the day.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Administration Is A Disappointment - Tinubu by kinguwem: 6:09pm On Dec 25, 2012
Rhino.5dm:
Thank you afam4eva . . . here are some of his campaign promises
Generally, GEJ's rating is low recently. However, we should not be biased in assessing him. To be fair, he his trying to fulfil some of his promises. Some railway lines & trains are now functional. New universities have been established. There is some improvement in power supply. The federal service commission is employing & there are plans to deregulate the downstream sector. Conduct of elections is more transparent & some marketers have been prosecuted for oil subsidy scam. Terrorism is being tackled.
Most states governors are not performing. Have doctors been paid CONMESS in Lagos state. What were the dividends of democracy Tinubu gave Lagosians? Why are state governors against the financial autonomy of local governments & state houses of assemblies? Politicians love taking nigerians for a ride because they are docile politically.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Wish A Nairalander(s) A Merry Xmas&prosperous New Year by kinguwem: 2:58pm On Dec 25, 2012
Season's greetings to all nairalanders. May the joy & blessings of the season radiate in your household. Wishing you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
SportsRe: Osaze Proposed Himself As Eagles' Captain. by kinguwem: 7:11pm On Dec 24, 2012
I'm disappointed in what is going on in the national team. There is no reason for mediocrity. What nigerians expect from the team is good football & a trophy. There is too much retogressive politics in NFF because of money.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Recruitment Scandal Hits Immigration by kinguwem: 6:59pm On Dec 24, 2012
I'm disappointed in the way things are done in Nigeria. As long as we continue to give priority to federal character & nepotism instead of competence, mediocrity shall continue to thrive in the public service.
FamilyRe: 59-Yr-old Woman Gives Birth In Lagos by kinguwem: 6:43pm On Dec 24, 2012
I wish to congratulate the lady for having a new baby. However, she is not telling the truth about the method of conception of the baby. Were donor eggs used for IVF? Was a surrogate mother used to carry the pregnancy? Did she have a caesarean section? Most religious nigerian women are not usually honest when discussing such issues.
TravelRe: What State Do You Live In? by kinguwem: 5:46pm On Dec 24, 2012
Jalingo, Taraba State.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Steps Into Sambo’s N16billion Residence Contract Row by kinguwem: 5:33pm On Dec 22, 2012
Nigeria is poor & her administrators are wasteful. What does a VP need a banquet hall for? Unless we get our priorities right, the country will never develop.
PoliticsRe: FG Plans To Phase Out Kerosene Usage by kinguwem: 7:10am On Dec 22, 2012
They shall be problems because most nigerian women are illiterate. The incidence of fire disasters shall increase.
HealthRe: Tele Ikuru Expelled HIV-Positive Mother From Flood Camp & She Died by kinguwem: 10:27pm On Dec 21, 2012
Discrimination & stigmatization of PLWHA is condemnable. The Deputy Governor erred & should apologize for his action. Others should learn a lesson from the action of the Deputy Governor.
CultureRe: What Tribe In Nigeria Is Described As Most Promiscous? by kinguwem: 10:15pm On Dec 21, 2012
The thread does not have a basis. Anywhere you have babes, some may be loose. The commonest reason for promiscuity is poverty.
CultureRe: What Tribe Do You Like Best And Why? by kinguwem: 10:06pm On Dec 21, 2012
NRI PRIEST: Efik: Reason; They are very neat, very welcoming, has great food and lots of hotties.
I support you absolutely.
TV/MoviesRe: National Orientatation Agency DG Asks Nigerians To Watch Local Stations Not DSTV by kinguwem: 9:36pm On Dec 21, 2012
Nigerian administrators are not resourceful. What can NOA do to have an alternative to DStv? Nigerian TV station managers are only interested in sponsored political & religious programmes. They are not ready to invest in programmes that will sell the stations.
SportsRe: Counting On Mikel To Be A Messi- Segun Odegbami by kinguwem:
Mikel cannot be like Messi because of some reasons. Is he really 25 years old? He is black & unpatriotic. His he motivated by his country & NFF (his was kidnapped)? Are there star players in the national team that can make him achieve his dreams?
Nigerians should go to the grassroots. Future stars are waiting for discovery & development.
PoliticsRe: Ministers Without Remembrance Emblem Barred From FEC by kinguwem: 6:45pm On Dec 20, 2012
It is a shame that a minister does not know the importance of the armed forces remembrance emblem. A nation cannot develop when her public servant are not patriotic.
PoliticsRe: Yakowa’s Wife May Emerge Deputy Governor by kinguwem: 4:53am On Dec 18, 2012
There is no hope in this country. Mediocrity is the order of the day. Politics is seen as a means of livelihood.
PoliticsRe: Governor Chime Is Alive- Enugu Government by kinguwem: 8:16pm On Dec 17, 2012
Nigerians are generally docile when it comes to issues of national interest. The people of Enugu State have been intimidated & do not have the courage to demand for the whereabout of their governor. The governor's continued stay abroad is a conduit for diversion of funds.
