Politics › Re: Shettima Yerima: Tinubu Destined To Be A Kingmaker, Not A King by KosiGee(m): 7:39am On Nov 08, 2020
beardedboy:
All the space bookers above are ipobians.

Just seeing Tinubu has raised their entropy up to a thousand times.

Tinubu never mentioned anything about contesting for president yet these ones are already scrambling for his head.

Even if he does, how's it their problem? Isn't he a Nigerian? Doesn't he have the right? Does it stop them from also contesting for the position.

I don't understand what kind of people they are. Instead of working hard to build your home, and present a reputable candidate from your region, you're striving hard 24/7 to destroy some other people's structure.

It's really saddening that we share a country with these folks.

Yesterday, a governor in their region was shedding crocodile tears, the thread was scanty. But see a thread about Tinubu is already full early Sunday morning.

This bad belle is on another level.
You vomited a load of nonsense without the slightest mentioning of Yerima Shettima. You ended up in your usual stereotyping of shifting your frustrations to the tribe that gives you nightmare.
Are all the above posts from south easterners?

Did you not see posts from Tinubu defenders?

I do not like mr Shettima but I think there’s sense in his reactions.
If I have any reservations about his comments, it’s the fact that he said all and bared his mind about Tinubu’s political ambitions while claiming to be reticent about it.

Tinubu is a smart politician from whom many have benefited. He has raised leaders and maybe mr Yerima might be right about his observations. I concur with him. Tinubu might be better off as a kingmaker rather than the king.

If he eventually declares his intention to contest for the presidency, I don’t know what else mr Yerima would say differently or add on from what he has just said.

Hope you married your wife as a virgin? And I hope your children are virgins... if No, then shut the Bleep up.
Before you come here and start shaking unnecessary tables.
Nonsense undecided
PS- Don't quote me cause I won't be replying.
At the mention of pigs, all the dirty people would get fidgety...at the mention of old basket, all the skinny and scrawny people would get paranoid.

Don’t mind Reno...Your bride price is still intact and it must be paid in hard currency. There are stuffs out there to reset the 500,000km mileage back to zero.

I’m from delta state the only reason why I want Madam to win is Because Buhari has taught us nepotism she is from my tribe and my country person that’s all.

This woman’s father is a king yet he doesn’t have water in his community, she did absolutely nothing in her community

I HOPE I MADE SENSE
NO YOU HAVE NOT MADE SENSE.

Why would Okonjo Iweala’s community have water supply while the neighbouring communities not have? Or are you saying that all the communities have water supply except the community where Okonjo’s dad is the king?

Have you guys contacted the ministry of water supply Delta state? What about community effort? Can’t the indigenes come together and sort that out?

You are accusing Buhari of nepotism yet you expect Okonjo to do the same in her fathers community while others stay without water.

Things do not work that way. Barack Obama was president of the US for 8 years, go to Kenya and check out his father’s compound.

As in.

The viewers are insensitive. The lift was faulty and nothing there alerted the victim of the possible danger. Why was the lift door open with no sign to indicate a fault?

Tragic scene but the woman does not deserve the blame for the fatal fall.
Whoever blames this girl must be insane. In a sane society, that hotel would be closed down and the management sued.

You are as misguided as those Trump campaigners. Stereotyping is bad.

For all you fools shouting Igbos rallying for the losing party/individuals. You are all silly.

This is a well organised rally different from your usual IPOB rally. This rally was probably organised by a few individuals trying to get Trumps support for Okonjo Iweala. I see them as sycophants regardless and it’s embarrassing that this is happening in the south east.

You all should calm down. Majority of Igbos supper the democrats and Kamala Harris.

There’s no prophecy here...not even a prediction.

“Until the inauguration of the NEW president”

This message is ambiguous. New president can be either Trump or Biden.

This is one of a series of videos posted by the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka, Most Reverend Godfrey Igwebuike Onah, to his YouTube channel on October 21. The theme of the homily was about the End SARS protests and the situation of the country, but I believe that it is this particular clip, in which he talked about mosques in Nsukka and churches in the north, that offended a lot of people.

“The Muslim Hausa lady paid her fare but keke man was satisfied and he was going to beat the lady. The lady invited her brother who threw blows with the keke man and over powered the keke man leading to keke man landing on the hospital?!!!

What nonsense! No mention of an angry relative of the lady pulling a knife and stabbing the keke man!!

Can the army treat DJ Cuppy below like that? Can they flog Hausa/Fulani women like that?

My point? Do not laugh at the misfortune of any section of the country. They are our collective enemy, we should rather stick together to speak with one voice and push the evil back to where it is coming from. It can be anyone or any section of the country tomorrow.
Whether in Oshogbo or Umuahia, anyone who laughs at unarmed civilians undergoing such inhumanity in the hands of Nigeria soldiers is a big fool.

Violence is bad but the cowardly soldiers responsible for this should be dealt with.

Preach.
Some people are already moaning. I’ve seen lots of Hausa/Yoruba people speaking Igbo fluently in Enugu.
I went to school with lots of Hausa/Yoruba people.

Governor Ugwuanyi’s former security/gate man at Ogui road was a pure Hausa man and his young wife speak fluent and very deep Igbo like the woman here.
They never paid house rent and like this woman and her family, instead of paying house rent, Ugwuanyi was helping them just like this woman’s landlord who gives the financial help

ckenneths:
ESWAMA has been marvellous of recent, I must confess. God bless Amaka Anajemba.
Oga Ken, town/urban development should be anchored around a strict master plan. Has Enugu got one?
Town development isn’t just about allocating, surveying and building houses. It’s also about drainage/central sewage system, efficient water supply system and also electricity and fibre optics system systematically and strategically laid underground and then most importantly a central Metro/Underground rail network.

Enugu still has those ugly Nepa poles messing up the environment, ugly mesh of cables are still a big eye sore.
Is there Metro rail system on the board. Is there any provision for this? Imagine metro/underground rail system running underground connecting Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium through O’Connor street to Okpara sq and linking up Agbani road and various other links connecting Emene, Abakpa, Garikki.

What about recreation? Nice to see some sculptures but the state government need to do more. Ngwo Park, needs some tlc. Achara layout need a park, New Haven as well. I had to fight some church people attempting to build erect some ugly building at Nnaji Park behind New Haven primary school years ago....As at the time I left the city, Sullivan sold our Polo Park to South Africans to build Shop rite. I still feel like burning that shop down. Couldn’t they have sited the shop somewhere else on a virgin land to boost development?

Enugu is a nice city. I’ll forever be a proud Nwafo 042 but I think the city is over rated.
