DasaintHope:I’m not here to argue, disagree or troll you bro. I just want to inform you that Nigeria military as a unit have a long way to go. The orientation and training is faulty. Your ideology is faulty. I don’t doubt the potentials but I have seen dialogues like yours online and offline praising the maltreatment of civilians and that disrespectful tag...” bloody civilian”. You lot shouldn’t be using that. That’s cowardice. Nigeria Military is poorly trained. I’m not disrespecting them but stating the obvious. Arrogance and certain poor mentality need to be removed from you lot. To be honest, Nigeria military is a backyard bully with buffed up pecs, arms and necks but with spindly legs. He threatens his face me I face you people till he went to another turf and was taught a lesson by a much fitter dude shorter but stronger than he is. Nigeria military has an exaggerated impression of its capabilities or they might be aware of their short comings but like a coward bully only take out its frustrations on its household to feel secured. Trust me when I say that there are lots of heroes here on Nairaland very well trained in weaponry but they don’t make noise and disrespect civilians. You talking about your clowns and how they’d deal with civilians is like exalting a drunk bully who goes home to punch his wife. That I repeat again is cowardice. |
DasaintHope:This is for you and Xavfra....It’s this sort of arrogance and mentality that is ruining the Nigeria army. The end product of bad training, ill treatment and unprofessional methods is that the military churn out bad and very poorly trained soldiers. Your clowns chawuz vulnerable people in the streets and you lots should not be glorifying that. That’s cowardice. In Nigeria, you’ll see Army fighting the Navy in the street, or free for all between NAF and the Army or police and you call yourself a soldier?? Stop dignifying nonsense. |
DasaintHope:Mister keep quiet. You and your clowns wouldn’t survive in a real fight. Give that bloody civilian a week’s induction and he will embarrass you and your bunch of clowns. |
OfficialAwol:This is uncalled for. I don’t know your intentions but whether it’s banter, trolling or outright provocation. This is not necessary. |
frosbel2:What’s happening now isn’t different from what the military did during the python dance and like I’ve said. It’ll get worse and you might not see 1/10th of it in the media. Let me make it clear again...Geneva convention doesn’t work and will never work in Nigeria. If you understand the rule of the jungle, you’ll benefit from it. Nigeria military and police understand that. They cash out from it regularly. Bokoharam understand the rule and they are profiting from it in blood, toys and finance. IPOB is a novice in the game. Kanu is talkative, if he engages his brain more...he might begin to see clearly and be more cautious before he makes his move. Those he and IPOB are dealing with are more calculative, brutal and not stupid. |
dokie:Are you surprised at the responses and reactions here?? Certain monikers are programmed to act and speak like that. Some come here to see bad news. Bad news about south east make their day. Accept that. Oyigbo or Obigbo isn’t any different. Situation will get worse. You’ll hear stories which some are ready to deny. Don’t Wike as well. Wike in my opinion is a pawn on the board game. From the mobile phone of someone on ground to the sarkin that he and others answer to...to that military guardian angel to the power that be...Wike would’ve gotten the message that he must use his executive capacity to act otherwise, he would be seen as weak...rumours of possible attack by the Fulani mercenaries would’ve put him on the edge....NO he doesn’t want an ethnic crash in his state...if he doesn’t act, the Fulanis would definitely come...IPOB knew this and they were waiting...it would be a fair fight or would it? Either way someone gotta pay...Igbos in Obigbo would have to pay. It’s not a fight the mercenaries from Zamfara etc would win...even with a few military men behind them like they’ve always done. Retaliation must be official and ‘professional’ it’s a job for the military. Blood must be shed to appease the Hausa/Fulani. That my friend is what’s going on. Don’t blame Wike. This has nothing to do with any N100m bounty on him...I see that as stupidity on Kanu’s part as well, not that I’m surprised. He said same about Buhari and Buratai before the python dance. |
frosbel2:Oga stop mentioning bokoharam, let’s face the reality on ground. Emotional blackmail don’t work in Nigeria and definitely not on the Nigeria Army. I’m not surprised at what’s happening at the moment. This is the beginning and it’ll get worse. Brace up for part 2.... Also stop blaming Hausa/Fulani soldiers. They are doing their job dnd that’s their orientation. Their oga at the top has only left Nigeria once in his life time and don’t bring the Geneva convention here. It’s a jungle in Nigeria, accept that. My problem isn’t with the Nigeria Army. My problem is with Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB. What’s their plan B and plan C??....shout ICC, UK, USA and UN??...the same white people he trashes during his broadcast?? I’m a full blooded Igbo and I’m embarrassed sometimes when Kanu and IPOB speak... “this is not 1967” “no monopoly of violence”. For how long are they going to be shouting? Those boys at Abia during the python dance and the recent ones at Obigbo with their arms tied behind them and shot...if they were properly armed, I’m sure they would die happy knowing that they fought back. I’m not angry at the soldiers. I’m sad that those boys died like that. The army isn’t only killing. That isn’t the issue, the main thing is the psychological blows being inflicted on the boys. Kanu is a pussycat loud mouth who revels on showing off his knowledge of history. His attacks ends online. Young men with lots of potentials are being wasted and he is attempting to show off his ‘ima aka’ tech superiority by making radio Biafra available in Daura. That’s madness and stupidity. Publish the names of those army commanders online with the names of the NAF men flying choppers above Obigbo. Are they all Hausa/Fulani? Names? Let’s start from there. Kanu has instructed those people to leave and sleep in the forests if necessary...then what? Hausa/Fulani people walk around in the East and everywhere armed with at least, a knife/dagger. How many times have the police/soldiers stopped and searched them? Can you not see their complicities in all these. If you know Kanu/IPOB, ask them of their plan B. Inform Kanu that the gallant men that drowned in the swamps on getting to Dunbar creek would have fought if they had weapons. Tell Kanu and IPOB that a fraction of the money they contribute could provide some toys to make Nigeria army dance. Pythons are still dancing because they haven’t swallowed something that’ll upset their guts. Kanu and his followers should stop embarrassing Igbos. If they have no answers to the ugly sides of Nigeria military, let them keep quiet. |
sweetrace:Point out from my post or past posts where I said or indicted that I’m a follower of Kanu or IPOB. Where and when have I attacked anyone. Kindly point them out. I gave you more credit than you deserved. I was wrong. Apologies for that. |
sweetrace:Kanu didn’t take credit for anything. You can read and write but you have allowed a sinister thread title created by someone to deceive your gullible mind. |
Adefemi504:Kanu didn’t say that. You are a liar and a fraud. You are exploiting the interview he had with Dele Momodu for your own ulterior motives. This is wrong and you should be ashamed of yourself. |
Nnamdi Kanu is gifted. The man is talented and skilful. If this video was intended to ridicule him, I think that purpose worked the opposite way and has garnered him a new followership. However, I disagree with a lot of things he said and the manner he said some others. He has an air of authoritarianism....he sometimes speak like an absolutist when he should speak with optimism. Eg....that he won’t allow detractors to bring friction between Yoruba and Igbos again. He should sound optimistic that he pray and a hope for a much more united Yoruba and Igbos. Nnamdi Kanu has no power/authority to make Yoruba/Igbo united front work. He is over optimistic or rather he speaks idealism. It makes him sound like a con-artiste pastor promising healing and miracle to gullible and vulnerable people. He gets carried away and make statements that could be twisted...like the audio during the protest. As much as we would argue it, those who accused Igbos of complicity in some of the attacks in Lagos have genuine reasons and shouldn’t be shouted down or accused of tribalism. Adeyinka Grandson and other insanely Oduduwa nationalist might have ulterior motives but if Nnamdi Kanu had shut his mouth and not taken advantage of the chaos to incite Nigerian youths, the accusations would’ve been silly and baseless. Let Kanu guard his mouth. He might sound very eloquent and convincing but his two piece wrapper theory about Biafra boundary wasn’t strong enough argument. I think he should rather focus and channel energies towards allying with those areas that he feels have a lot in common with Igbos....build the bridge rather than forceful inclusion of those areas. Kanu is passionate and highly persuasive but I think he should be careful of the ‘Buhari is dead’ theory. I don’t believe that an impostor is at Aso Rock, I don’t believe that any form of make-up would have been used to cover up Buhari’s death. I’m not convinced that Queen Elizabeth sent any condolence message or that AU observed a min silence in respect of Buhari. Nnamdi Kanu shouldn’t be listening and believing some fake journalist who claimed to have covered the funeral in Saudi Arabia, it makes him look like a child. I think Dele Momodu came to make a fool of him, Dele’s body language sometimes suggested strong disapproval but Kanu calmed him down with his unreserved apology of his audio. Dele disagreed with the Buhari theory and I think he must think Kanu is a fool...but his open mindedness might have convinced that Kanu ‘got skills’. I think Mr Momodu left slightly accomplished and with a lot of mixed feelings about him. |
Madam, idi eweta oku. Na joke o. If you can’t disconnect or terminate the current between mr wirer and his electrician....leave in peace. There seem to be very high voltage between them after all this years. Don’t get yourself electrocuted trying to mess with the current. Your husband is a liar and a cheat. Have you got any child in your marriage? You know where I’m going...leave/divorce/....watoo, gaa ya iru. |
Fountainofyouth:Go and give thanksgiving that you are still alive to type this. He is mentally unbalanced. In fact he is a psychopath. |
Funflipper:That was very offensive. What has he done to you? |
slawormiir:He is guilty now. James Nwafor should be invited to harvest their organs. It’ll be useless to waste them and bury them just like that. |
Unik3030:Never heard of any market in Nigeria called ‘Igbo market’. |
Unik3030:Right....here’s a message for you and your likes. I double DARE you to start attacking Igbos. |
modsfucker:You are the cursed one. |
IJOBA2:If Chinwetalugu comes to your sick bed, he hasn’t come to sympathise with you. He has come to check if the poison he administered is actually dealing with you the way he expected. ![]() Mc Oluomo came to make sure that his agberos actually delivered. I guess he will go home happy or demand some change if he wasn’t satisfied with the level of damage. |
Charmingrascal:As much as I despise Kanu and feel disgusted when he swear and curse on other people, any individual, organisation or government that transfers aggression or attempts to harass Igbos because Kanu’s utterances would be as foolish and as silly as Kanu and IPOB. What has a spare parts dealer minding his business got to do with that? Isn’t that as foolish as harassing Hausa/Fulani business men because of herdsmen and boko haram. Leave Igbos out of this and focus on Kanu. Emeka at mgbuka Obosi or Ladipo don’t care about IPOB. I’m sure you guys know about Kanu and hear his audios more than those boys. |
Where’s the boy that decapitated the head of a burnt police man at Ogidi?? Their job isn’t complete without apprehending and prosecuting that devil....including the one that held the chopped off head in his hands while laughing in front of camera and sitting on an okada. Those two and their accomplices shouldn’t be walking free. They are evil and highly dangerous. ...Having said that, the soldiers that murdered two young men playing football while defying the covid stay at home at Onitsha early this year need to be fished out, DPOs of Okpoko police station who have been extorting and making the lives of hard working people in Onitsha miserable should be prosecuted and punished. The men of DSS, military, police and especially the commissioner of police Enugu state should be prosecuted and punished for harming ,killing and disturbing the peace of youths exercising at St. Patrick’s Emene Enugu. Shame on that police commissioner who was trying very hard to intimidate some young men on camera to accept crimes they haven’t committed. Police and military should account for various murders committed against the states. Police and military should do their jobs and stop mounting illegal checkpoints aimed at extorting hard working road users. |
selemo:It’s not the grass that you used to know. You’ve been misinformed. The soil bearing that grass is hazardous. The grass/pasture is poisonous with spores that can cause untreatable allergens. |
babaolofin:....and your point is....?? |
Eastlink:Rotimi Amaechi wouldn’t say that. No matter his beef with Wike, he wouldn’t make those statements. |
Hambivert:I concur...This is not Awolowo. This is Femi Fani Kayode.
