Odunolumide:I concur, he might be eccentric but I think he is passing a positive message as well as fighting a just and good fight. Lots of artistes and sports men are under slave contracts and feel powerless about it. Uk Grime rapper Wiley was being abused and called all sorts of names when he felt frustrated and tweeted about the Jews controlling and exploiting people like him. I’m with Kanye on this. |
Enuguplkln:This is very foolish. No matter your issues with a fellow man, NEVER used that to mock him. Not having a child/children could be deliberate. Even if it’s not, it’s not your business. |
...Nice one by Nigeria police....but they lied. He was out gunned, arrested and cut with machete. They said that he sustained machete wounds during gun battle with the police ![]() ....reminds me of Gana who was unarmed, taken away, hands tied but he mysteriously got into gun battle with the Nigeria Army |
slivertongue:You should be ashamed of yourself. |
So many things I found strange with this story and responses. ...collecting a piece of paper with a phone number on it and calling the number is one and this supposedly came from a military man! Having this mindset that you’d shag him on that date and getting disappointed that he didn’t act like ‘most Nigerian men’ Finally, I’d there something I’m missing here? I’d this lady saw the photo she posted on here on his timeline, does this photo not mean that the guy found love and has moved on. That was a military guy on the left and woman on the right with their hands forming the heart/love shape. Why are you all writing ‘departed/death and rip? The navy guy found love and has either wedded or about to get married. |
This man looks like the south east regional manager of KFC or Chicken Republic rather than a member of APGA.
|
CilicMarin:You are not only a clown, intelligence and common sense elude you. A man surrendered himself and was in the company of his local govt chairman, traditional chief and religious people but he was taken away by the Army who killed him and stupidly placed a rifle beside him with the embarrassing claim that he was killed in a combat with the Nigeria Army!! Who did this to the Nigeria military? Who is writing their script? A once fearsome and gallant military has been reduced to mockery and foolishness. It wasn’t just the killing and the acting that made this foolish but the claim by the almighty Nigeria Army. Every Nigerian should be embarrassed by this but not you and your likes. Stay on Nairaland and keep shouting ourself hoarse with IPOB youths this, IPOB youths that. |
Emu4u2c:You are no Alpha male. Pussy brought you to your knees mister. It happened to Samson, it happened to Clinton. Stop blaming waist beads. When you are mad Hot, raging and rampaging testosterone will make you to do the unthinkable. A girl who understands and knows your weak point will be pressing that button always and I don’t mean some spiritual nonsense...she’ll exploit your weaknesses. |
Dentmoyin:It is possible. I think he meant to say that BOTH of you should be pinned down and slapped viciously to reset your brains. Stop this nonsense. If you believe that a girl can control you simply by touching some beads tied round the waist with strings then your problems are deeper than you think. |
What happens to female rapists? Does this law not apply to them? |
Lipscomb:You are worse than those that you chastise. You have horrible writing skills. |
Arrewa:You and Omenka...as much as I respect you guys here, both of you are hypocrites and heavily biased individuals with lots of anti Igbo sentiments. You celebrate when unarmed individuals are cut down in the primes in the south east with excuse that they are Ipobs. Let’s assume that they those unfortunate people were really members of Ipobs, why do people like you tag and paint all Igbos with same brush? How many times have we heard and read about boko haram and religious extremists killing not just Igbos but members of other ethnicities up north? How many times? How many times did those affected members of other ethnic group erupt with anti-Hausa/Fulani violence?? Igbo traders have been killed not just by boko haram but by their neighbours, a woman was once killed in a market over an argument that an Hausa Guy was washing in front of her shop....Igbos didn’t tag it Hausa/Fulani violence but rather called on the powers that be to investigate and prosecute the criminals...a Yoruba woman preacher was killed one early morning in Abuja...everyone called for the police to catch the killers...Boko haram a known terrorist groups have killed Igbos as well as members of other ethnic groups. Reactions?? Was it tagged Hausa/Fulani violence?? Why not call a spade a spade? Why tag the recent crimes Igbo crimes? I don’t want to argue along the line of “it was unverified crime” if Hausa people were killed in Onitsha and port harcourt, could the police investigate and arrest the murderers. Stop this threat of genocide against Igbos oga. Igbos did not kill Hausa/Fulani people. A supposed silly reprisal against innocent Igbo traders/business men up north would not justify any crime committed anywhere in the East. Let’s be mature and just when we point accusing fingers. Those who carried out the cowardly acts against those men in PH or Onitsha must be fished out and punished. Stop these igbophobic sentiments, it doesn’t make you look good. It actually portray you as evil. Boko haram crimes as tagged Boko haram, supposed Ipob crimes as tagged Igbo crimes and a call for violence against all Igbos. E get as e be o. |
Clickairtravels:Stop praising nonsense nwokem. Dino might have expensive stuffs but the man has no class. Ezigbo Onye iberibe ka o bu. What purpose does this serve? A politician showing off watches etc!! That’s foolish. He is not different from Okorocha...another Onye iberibe. He is rich but with a very poor mentality. |
AndSunGorilla:No argument about Dotun playing for Rangers but I’m not sure of Ajibade. I can’t remember much about him. I can’t also remember saying that he played for Rangers. |
AndSunGorilla:Dotun Alatishe played for Enugu Rangers. I watched him live. As a very young boy way back then, I had visited the Rangers camp near Zodiac hotels and I have seen these legends one on one till they relocated to Edidas hotel at Awkunanaw street Achara layout. I have met the likes Collins Ebitimi. Alatishe played for Enugu Rangers and I still remember one of his goals for the team at UNEC stadium. I know Enugu Rangers very well and have met the likes of Taribo West at Edidas. I still remember watching Algers 90 match between Algeria and Nigeria when Raba Madger and co massacred us.. I remember Collins Ebitimi telling the other guys “na JJ broda be dat” when Emma Okocha scored |
JesusJesus:Stop wishing... You can avoid women. As for your dick, if you see that as a mistake,it can be corrected...unplug it, cut it off, get rid of it and ‘be happy’. |
Openbusiness:I think you guy you quoted might be right. Mahrez is rich enough to sponsor and help his wife start off her music career...that’s if his religion and orientation wouldn’t be a setback. We’ve heard this before, the woman might hav the hots for Joshua. He is tall, rich and handsome, with great physique and very successful. Lots of women would want a man like that. Dj Cuppy tried her luck. Don’t forget that there was similar story about Amir Khan’s wife and Anthony Joshua. Anthony Joshua might be a street boy and a bad guy but he should be aware of the Delilah’s about to drain his source of strength and expose him to the wolves. |
Blitzerz:It was offered by James Randi. He exposes magicians and all sorts of people who claim to have supernatural powers. |
AndSunGorilla:I’m hearing this for the first time. Ajibade was never ‘Barbwire’. It was Collins Ebitimi of firmer Stationery Stores that had that name. I watched him live, great guy, big strong legs that will either dispossess you of the ball cooly if you are nice or roughly if you try naughty tricks and most times, he succeeds without getting cards or warning while you are on the floor writhing in pain from his tackle. I once saw him up close without his shin guards, his shins were full of scars and bruises...this was at the UNEC stadium Enugu where Enugu Rangers train, he joined from stationery stores then. Great team at the time. Sorry to digress but have to mention that Rangers also bought one Dotun Alatishe, very short guy with incredible speed, dribble and skills all with his left foot. Naija had players. Good Ol sweet days when people like me would memorise 3SC team names or Abiola Babes players names. Nairaland has done me bad. |
Guyman02:Oga it’s Sooting not shooting. Don’t ever argue with Ibadan fans or supporters of IICC or 3SC. Even legendary Odegbami would be appalled if you shout shooting instead of ‘Sooting’...mind you this is coming from an Enugu Rangers fan. RIP senior man Ajibade Babalade. May the Almighty grant him eternal rest. |
Skynet45:Inferiority complex. Let me type it in upper case. INFERIORITY COMPLEX. That was the reason. Europeans also came to the shores of Southern parts of Africa. The Zulu man didn’t throw away his Shabalala or Nthshangase to adopt one shallow nonsense he doesn’t know the meaning. It’s happening amongst some overzealous Christians now. Someone would answer Endurance, Success, Miracle, Prosperity, Confidence when there are equivalent names on their native tongues. They just are not comfortable answering their native names or speaking their native tongues. The Irish went to the US, they maintained their names, the Scots too...the McDonalds are Scots, Irish...their Celtic heritage is still there, those from Eastern Europe kept their ...ic, ov.. Cilic, Balakov etc. The Germans have their names, the Indians still practice their culture and didn’t change. The reason is weakness of culture and the mentality of its inhabitants. |
solmusdesigns:Where’s the pride? Everything is wrong with the photo. What kind of bridal dress was that for people trying to promote their culture? Why was she wearing a western/British styled and inspired wedding dress while the man looked like a fan of Man United FC Benin city branch...then the supposed chief priest had white crosses smeared on his skinny flabby pecs with a bottle of adulterated hot drink in his hands?? |
Forests around Ituku Ozalla hospital have been taken over by Fulani herdsmen and their families. They used to graze their cows even in the hospital environment. There are few young men around the town as most have left to hustle in the cities, those people have been causing troubles around there and they are threats to the women, kids and old men who farm around there. |
Minjim:There are lots of genuine and honest business men in Alaba market. It’s unfortunate and very sad that these sort of nonsense happen there. The leadership need to sort the mess before it ruins the market and I do hope that they try that nonsense with a crazy police or military guy. Death and misfortune to all scammers. |
mabeni:I feel sad reading this as I know a lot of people and some friends who work at Alana Int. market however I have no sympathy for fraudsters and scammers. Those people should be bundled and locked inside that shop and set ablaze. If they are Igbos, I hope they never cross the River Niger alive with their evil. I hate dishonest people. Fcck them all. |
irrefragable:What do you mean by ‘childs’? |
Kingsam20:Kindly brief us. What really happened? |
There are lots of fans of Nigerian league and Nigerian football clubs. Enugu Rangers remains my team and I’ll forever be a fan. It’s my local football club when I was growing up. I also support Arsenal but Coal city and Enugu Rangers remains my no 1. I can’t rid myself of the passion I have for them. The management of the club and the league need to improve. Enugu Rangers, 3SC, Kano pillars and even Insurance of Benin could rebrand and attract lots of sponsorship and supports. They shouldn’t be relying heavily on the governors and state governments. If I could pay about £65 plus to buy Arsenal and Super Eagles shirts, i’d pay more to have a quality Enugu Rangers shirts but sadly those jerseys don’t exist. It’s a huge revenue loss for teams like Rangers and 3SC aka IICC shooting stars not to have quality souvenirs....where are the shirts, hats, drinking mugs, towels, etc...the ones available are badly made and the revenue goes into private pockets. I’m team Nigeria league and a fan of Enugu Rangers...thousands of miles away from Coal city but I always attend matches when I’m in town. Pinnick and co should come back picnic and do a better job. |
CanadaOrBust:Apologies if you are female. |
lefulefu:There are exceptions to this code. Tony Montana was the hot head while his friend Manny was cool and level headed. His relationship with Tony’s sisters was genuine and they had married the day before Tony shot him thinking that he was playing with his sister...Tony loved his family and never joked with his mum and sister...He regretted his actions after Gina told him that they were married. In Rattlesnake, Ahanna married Peter’s sister. Real life, I’ve seen bros marry their bros sisters and nearly all of the ones I know of are very stable and happy marriages. |
CanadaOrBust:Are you female?? A real bro should let sister’s be sisters. Let sisters draft their codes. If you are not a biological female, leave that part for the ladies. Even a Bobrisky shouldn’t write what you’ve just written. Even you are male, bros should avoid someone like you. You are the type that would be seeking sister’s favours and give out bros secrets for a peek on the cheek, a rub of the back of head or a hug. If you are a man then you are a pucci nigga. |
alexistaiwo:You lack discipline and self control. You mister can’t be trusted. |

Great defender!!! Scored some fantastic free kicks for Sooting. Adieu Aji baba.
I have seen someone bearing governor, bill gates, bezos, billionaire, millionaire, Bank etc. I think the colonialist couldn't pronounce their local names and gave them easy white names.
