deniyor:haha, u'll definitely get slapped. beta stick to the "Would you like to Be Intimate?" line. the girl will feel less insulted. ![]() |
Advocator: ![]() |
on a second thought, i think the female option is kinda too restricted. a rich dude that is super ugly; what about his personality? does he have a good or a bad personality? a poor sexy dude; is he poor because he is not focused and has stubbornly refused to have any ambition? nothing here is about a guy's personality or life focus. its just a battle between choosing a rich/ugly guy and a poor/handsome dude. in which case, all things being equal, i will choose the rich/ugly guy. ![]() so i take back my initial choice Advocator:thanks dude ![]() |
Me will go for a Poor sexy Dude |
r231: ![]() It depends on the person proposing and the person being proposed to. In Nigeria, I don’t think they have any regular pattern though. I mean before the guy proposes, the girl must have been aware or been anticipating the proposal as the guy must have stated his intentions earlier enough. The surprise thingy is hardly there, as the initial expectation totally ruins the fun. |
LMAO, so wait ooo, adding friends is now a crime on Facebook. heee, there is nothing somebody will not hear on NL. While other countries commend and even celebrate the progress and efficacy of Facebook, most Nigerians look for a way to suck out even the tiniest bit of double standard they can out of it. No wonder Nigeria is a failed nation. Most people always have a problem minding their own business. PITY! |
It is no news that the mainstream African culture and society does not encourage kissing in public or any other form of public display of affection (pda)
Unless the kissing enters another level, like the kind that is not so good for little kids passing by, apart from that, no harm no foul. A little show of affection every now and then is necessary. Though, I try to avoid public display of both emotion and affection (and sometimes, I still fall a victim), I hardly care or notice if people are trying to bite off their tongue/lips around me. as long as they dont invite me to join ![]() As for the greeting one, that is purely an oyibo thing.
There are now debates in certain quarters that kissing publicly in office should not be allowed and laws must be made to discourage the act. What's your take on this?
Why? Like how does it affect the people that are foo/lishly gazing away? Most times, I feel that some people do not know how to mind their business. I think they should rather charge people for looking too much ![]() |
When people change and become incorrigible, you might want to think twice about going on with them. My advice will be to quite now because if you continue, you might possibly live the rest of your life grumbling and complaining about how much she has changed and how she wasn’t who you thought she was! ![]() |
hmm, i tire |
OP, it’s good that you have a conscience ![]() Telling the girl about what transpired between you and her sister may bring discord, mistrust and hatred into the girl’s family. Like i said, it’s good that you have a conscience because, with conscience comes guilt. I will suggest that you live with your guilt. Let it be the price you have to pay for you misdeeds. Telling the girl will make you feel better and give you closure but to be honest, you really don’t deserve to be feeling this way . You need to feel as horrible and as terrible as you possibly can about yourself. Find a way to forgive yourself but leave the girl and her family out of itThe only person I really pity is the girl as with that kind of sister, hmm, I wonder |
OP, all the best |
yeye4live:okay ![]() |
Chinese and Nigerian cuisine and probably Polish cuisine ![]() |
don't think I've heard about vegetarians in Nigeria. ![]() |
the idea may not be that awful afterall ![]() |
i don't think it's right for you to take that which you have given to another. it is very annoying though, but you have to let it go but if you have a chance to steal it back (like without her knowledge), go for it! ![]() anywho, sorry for your loss |

buhahahahahaha @OP cut d mustache nah or let her deal wit it dont like mustache, love goatee's (nicely trimmed though) |
tom28:my point exactly. dont no why someone dating from another race will pain others so much. all these gender hate and colour discrimination is a thing for little minds. such comments only end up inhibiting other people. it doesn't matter if u r black or white, keep spreading the love. let those who hate on others keep up with d hatred. but i must add that just yesterday, a friend of mine was pissed because a friend of hers dat was dating one oyibo, gave her a very awkwardly rushy greeting wen they met at the city center. but that was just the girls own ignorance. we didn't immediately rush into this kind of conclusion that OP is rushing into. we just went like "dat one na big deal!!!". end of matter if dem like make dem give me attitude, if them like make dem no give, it cannot affect my existence so why will such things pain me?? ![]() |
Long One:lol, they all fail at that point ![]() but then again, that's just me ![]() |
first of all, OP i think your biggest problem is your age(20). hmm, u cant be forced to mature cos that only comes with passage of time. still around same age wit ya but after more and more similar heart aches, u'll get used to the way u r feeling. d problem is that u are not yet matured to handle your feelings!! so, i can only tell u dat d way u r feeling is very normal though. only time will mend your broken heart! ![]() ufos77:yup, OP,i will do this if i were u! some hanging out will really do u some good!! |
Long One:LMAO, but some guys actually will still choose friendship over a one time !! seen more guys like that so i tot i should come in their defence ![]() but then, ur words against mine ![]() |
claremont:99.9%, nope! i so do not agree |
hmmm, i tink u have to cut off the friendship. the guy definitely wont stop seeing himself as a reject and a looser weneva he sees u. u need to give him his space. cos u coming around is like rubbing the rejection back and all over his face. in this sort of situation, malice usually follows. with time, the situation may subside btw d two of u, and he'll come around. bt 4 nw, u gatz to stop bothering about friendship wit him. cause d guy needs to sort the rejection out and yup! s*hit happens!! ![]() and incase u've not gotten the vibe by now, here lemme rub it in for ya; HE JUST WANTS TO SLEEP WIT YA!! |
