kokoA:That would have also failed, he still would not have standing because the issue of nomination are internal party matters. Only an APC member who is injured by the nomination have a standing to sue at the High Court and before the Election. e.g. People like Amaechi, etc and all who felt cheated at the APC primaries. This will truly allow novel political strategists to enter into future Nigeria Elections. I foresee Political parties in the near future planting people in other parties and have them take memberships in that opposing party legally and sponsoring them to buy nomination forms in the opposing party just to preserve their rights to sue and knock the opposing party nominee down after the nominations. Yes, this is dirty but you cannot win elections even in the glorified western countries without fighting dirty. In the US as immoral as it is, opposition have started even using deep fake videos to campaign. |
Lurdd:You met her just three weeks ago....she is using the airtime to call and beg her ex-boyfriend who dumped her three weeks ago, you are just a rebound. However, do not lose hope, if her ex did not take her back, she will be all yours, just hang in there and keep sending 1k airtime, in fact increase it to 5k, so that the whole process would be faster. |
TimT:Should prosperity advice be taken from the poor? Can one ask of direction from the blind? A single person can only at best give you theoretical solutions. The basic principles that makes the universe work is anchored on the fact that, you can’t give what you don’t have. |
MrsTwrite:And one full grown idiot must have thought that a human sperm can fusion or even fertilize an animal’s egg. |
nedu666:Rented or owned, it is her private residence. Though it was not stated if the Cousin paid rent, but it is irrelevant. It is the person whose name is on the lease that has possession and not he/she who paid the rent, hence she was about to boot them out with the help of the Police. |
Epinigirls:Can you please, mention one guy that have knowingly married a hookup lady or ashawo. Just one, after then we can go and compare their net-worth with that of the average citizen. |
After getting to the bank of that river, if you discover it harbors bad, smelly infested waters, it is far better to go home empty handed. — By common Sense (Not an Igbo Adage) @versitee, after finding out that bringing your private family matter to a public forum like this, and realizing that a close family member knows your moniker and would read all these is bad and ill advised, the best thing you would have done is to stop bringing these issues here. Yes, there are great minds here, but there are also distractors & predators, plus the internet never forget. My sister, there is no single perfect man, woman or marriage out there period! The only perfect couple out there are the ones who have not opened their mouth and tell you their stories of disappointments and internal struggles. Please and please, resolve you private marital matters privately, you don’t owe anyone any feedback or update. No matter how far you have gone on the wrong road, the only prudent thing to do is to stop and turn back —- Igbo Adage. ✌️ Peace! |
Akinfemmy:Lack of money truly reduces people’s choices, options and appetite. Imagine my G glamouring to date a confirmed and confessed hookup lady, she never even promise say she go change, you wan jump enter! Poverty is a baster and I pray the good Lord would bless your huzzle so you can think and see clearly in making life altering decisions…🙏 |
LegallyBlunt:Not true, it is bigamy. |
Wainey:You are very correct, though I was expecting to see you put “evil spirits and it’s acts” in air quotes like the bolds up there! I truly still believe that, if these African powers and evils spirits were very powerful the Whiteman would never have been able to colonize and ship us out as slave with mere single barrel guns and gun powders. Ours is simply a case where our tradition, practice and believe system and way of thinking have become our reality and have enslave us, travel out of Nigeria for a few months, you will see those beliefs systems and thinkings start to crumble one after the other and their hitherto powers and dreadfulness starts to wear off….yes, it may take years for them to completely wear off, but the countdown begins the day one steps out. |
Wainey:One thing you should also understand is the cultural and expectation differences, Nigeria versus abroad. In Nigeria we are inundated with spirits, ghosts, supernatural, etc on a daily based, such that we dream, think and live among them. If you stay abroad for just 2 years, your prayer points would change, you would hardly bind and cast demons, curse generational spirits. You understand a cultural shift in thinking and realities. Your kids born abroad don’t even know a thing about those evil “demonic spirits” back in Nigeria. To your kids and yourself, these are mere costume and whichever one have the greater scary factor wins the brownie points. It is done for it’s entertainment and enjoyment factors only! |
Sijo01:Is Bobrisky Gay? I thought and see him as a cross-dresser who is milking a livelihood from it and the attention it brings. He has been associated with notable ladies and rumored to be dating some of these ladies in the past and currently, but no rumor about possible boyfriends. I am not here to defend or hold water for anyone. |
Unperturbedpota:I think what he meant is, there are some States, especially blue States that don’t share immigrant prison information with ICE. In those cases, ICE will not even know if he is convicted of any crime and won’t know if he is serving in prison or not. In those situations, he will more likely ‘fall through the cracks’ but he would have to remain in those cracks for almost forever and later become illegal. If his Green Card expires and he tries to renew it or if he try to file for citizenship; that is when ICE would pull his files and get the 411 on his felony and would definitely deny his application and put him in deportation proceedings. But all these are hypothetical because he committed a federal crime so ICE would get the 411 from day one. |
He will be deported either immediately after serving his prison sentence or later. For sure, he is not not qualify to Naturalization and become a citizen, hopefully he has gotten his ten years Green Card as that would buy him more time in case he is not deported after serving his sentence. If he is not deported immediately after serving his sentence, advice never to file for citizenship even if he is qualified to do as that will give immigration another time to give his whole file another look. If he must renew his Green Card, he should look for a good attorney and should do that after having acquired a substantial period of good moral behavior e.g. five years after finishing his sentence. This good behavior period is not a get out of jail card, but it is a mitigating behavior to show immigration that he has ‘learnt’ his lesson, but they can still close the books on him regardless. Even if his kids file for him done the road, this will still stand in his way. The best defense against not reaping the consequences of a crime is not to commit the crime. |
UnfairLife7:For a B1/B3 visitor, please don’t drive in the USA without a driver license even if you are an expert driver at home. A Police Officer after issuing you a ticket also have the discretion of arresting you and sending you to jail and your arrests records are shared with ICE - Immigration & Customs Enforcement. For Green Card/Permanent Residents, watch your circle of friends, you can be roped into a crime you know nothing about as an accomplice or by association. Also, a DUI or DWI or DWAI ticket or a Reckless Driving or an accident you are at fault that lead to bodily injury or death or serious property damage can put you in the crosshairs of ICE and could earn you a deportation hearing. Remember that, DUI/DWAI does not necessarily mean been impaired by alcohol or illegal drugs. Your driving can be impaired by lack of adequate sleep, properly prescribed medications, depression, sickness, etc in situations like these, it is best you don’t drive, stay at home or call a taxi, otherwise at the Police Officer’s discretion you can be given a DUI or DWAI traffic ticket in those situations and that can earn you a deportation hearing. As a Green Card/Permanent Resident, yes your name is written in the books in the USA, but it is with a pencil and there are many effective erasers around, some you many not know, so in all you do, lay low and work towards getting your citizenship. I am not saying one should become wayward after citizenship, but I believe you got the drift. |
OmoNla99:Again not true, a naturalized citizen can only be deported if it is later form they obtain their citizenship fraudulently by a court of law. |
OmoNla99:A naturalized citizen cannot be deported. Only if they renounced their citizen or it gets revoked later if it is found that, they got it fraudulently. |
Or11:Not necessarily true! A traffic ticket can get you deported from the USA. |
naijapips04:I guess Mike Pence who went to testify against him and would testify against him in the incoming trial is part of the deep state. Chris Christy that is categorically stating that Trump's actions are beneath that of the office of the Presidency is the deep state; Ron DeSantis that is criticizing him is part of the deep state. What is even the deep state? |
Gajagojo:You clearly don’t understand the meaning of the independent, it means it is derived from a source other than the targeted country. That aside, as I don’t want to make ‘independent’ the bone of contention here…..do you have any statistics to back up what you stated that South Africa is more corrupt than Nigeria? Something more than your opinion or conjectures, any? |
DSoj:Let's keep profanity out as that would ensure the exchange of ideas. Do you care to share your independent stats that show that South Africa is more corrupt than Nigeria? Based on the published world corruption index of 180 countries in 2022, with 1 being the least corrupt and 180 the most corrupt.....Nigeria ranked 150 while South Africa was at 72. https://www.transparency.org/en/cpi/2022?gclid=Cj0KCQjw_5unBhCMARIsACZyzS32b3QS5ocAg8mVlJ9kkaF4gYlLj46HoLQi4sMw1jFWstDTxHtPRIAaAijcEALw_wcB |
Rostikol:Economy is not the only factor considered, stability and corruption index is key! What is the value of a good GDP in an economy when the leaders rob the currency blind and siphon the money into private use and storage abroad. Imagine the dent that would be made to the BRICS currency in the face of Abacha & Ibori loots alone! Nigeria central bank does not have the fiscal discipline and trust to go into a trusted monetary venture with other countries central bank, where the actions and inactions or cutting of corners of Nigeria central bank would devalue those countries currencies as well. |
igwebuike01:It is very true! Unemployment rate only account for people actively looking for joe aka still in the job market. In the case of Nigeria, these low unemployment figures is a bad news, because it shows that people have given up looking for jobs because there are no jobs. If there is a little hiring going on, these unemployment rate will tick upward because those little prospects attracts more people to dust up their CVs and come into the labor market looking for those scarce jobs. |
Realtord43:I read CBN response despite the headline, that they countered JP’s assertions, they total agreed with them in the details that followed. |
finallybusy:Read and understand, they are sharing the kid almost equally. She is paying support because her income is way over that of the guy, the guy married up the economic ladder, only a handful of men do this throughout the history of the world and it would be challenging to see an African on that list because of our ego. |
IconicR:So you would prefer the guy keep mute while the woman suck up all the energy in the room with her lies, innuendo and the guy should not tell his side of the story, but should allow his reputation to be ruined and dragged into the gutter. Imagine the damages this would do to the guy reputation, business and friends? Everyone have the right to present their side of the story and also to defend themselves if they do choose or think it would serve them better. |
Obidents no go say Amen at all for this prophecy.... |
It will be very wrong not to ask, because it is obvious and in the open that they are divorced. If she is a good lady, it will be a red flag to her if you did not ask, one she is expecting that question, two if you don’t ask it would look as if you are desperate i.e. you just want pursue the relationship and want to avoid difficult and challenging conversations. Don’t you want to know, if both of you could end up divorcing just like the previous guy? Don’t both of want to learn from the previous divorce and see if you can avoid it? You must ask, but you have to be very sensitive about, though painful but she has been waiting for the day you will ask. She has been carrying a heavy burden in heart, thinking if known the circumstances would scare you away…the day you asked and both of discussed it in detail, a huge burden would be lifted off her. It is also possible that, the discussion would make both of you to re-examine the relationship and maybe put a pause on it, it is all good and wonderful, a broken relationship is far more desirable and wonderful than a broken marriage. |
Both of you are incredible, the way both of you go at each other, there is a rhythm and dynamism to it. Your desires to engage each other repeatedly, even when the other is saying what is not in sync with you, show an underlying subtle affinity one to the other. The way you argue your points respectfully and are careful not to cross each other, show a mutual resonance and tolerance for the other. Agree, @Samentha124 might say she already have a boyfriend and @talented321 might say he already have a good woman, but deep down; it appear both of you are soulmates. Moreso, both of you are not in any committed relationship, so it will not hurt getting to know each other more. Don’t ignore that still small voice deep down inside you, telling you to go for it; as that might be your guardian angel throbbing your heart towards His divine directions for a blissful happy ever after! |
linearity: Abuventure:The link you sent had all five conspiracies debunked, so I guess you are agreeing with my point? |
ehikwe22:If we include unmanned crashes, yes Russia Sputnik probe crash landed on the moon in 1959. Till date, only the USA has been able to landed men on the moon, the USA also had their countless crashes as well. The USA have safely landed 12 men on the moon over nine missions, Russia so far is zero for zero….they are still trying to master the basics of safe landing unmanned robots for now but are still crashing landing aka lunar-25. |
ehikwe22:You are on to something but your analysis are not true. Yes Project A119 by the America was to nuke the moon, however it happened around 1958 and Russian did not land on the moon until 1976. USA beat them to the moon in 1969. The reason for Project A119 was for the US to showcase her superior because at that Russia was head in their research to get to the moon. Ironically, it was not only US that was planning to nuke the moon, during the same period around 1958, Russia was also cooking Project E4, whose goal was to also nuke the moon. Both plans were abandoned and made both sides to sign the Outer Space treaty in 1967 promising each side that such a idea would not be repeated again. |
