Sabune: Na Wa O. We Deceive Ourselves a Lot. It happens to me weda sleeping on my back, side or tommy. More on my back though. If it's sleeping paralysis, then why doesn't it happen when I pray? Also, when I go to a new location and don't pray, it doesn't happen. But if I stay 3 days there, it happens. ...believe me, If I find big rats under my bed, I will be scared too! I will also ensure that under my bed is clean and take my beddings & clothings to the laundry for a good washing with some continuous round of disinfectants, bleach, etc....believe me rats do not like those refreshing and sparking scent of cleanliness which is next to Godliness.

I will also make sure that my surroundings, neighborhood, the toilet are clean and also empty out the garbage more often....I will also check around the kitchen, cupboard, stove to make sure no crump of food is laying in or out of sight.

The girl is not been sincere to you why he left you....chances are..you have pot belly before you met her and that did not discourage from starting the relationship and continued it up and till lately...

Back to your question...there are no magic bullets to reducing pot belly....it is all about 'calorie in and calorie out'...it takes about 3,5000 calories to add 1 lbs or about 0.46 kg. The combination of portion control and exercise will do it....Since you did not know your metabolic rate...that is how many calories your body burns at rest....This is what I will do if I were you....

1. Buy a scale....measure yourself weight and note it down.
2. Eat your normal food or reduce it to a level you can live with.
3. Engage in some exercise.
4. In a week's time, measure your weight again...
5. If you weight is higher than before, that means you have to keep a closer eyes on what you eat and also exercise more.
6. If your weight is about the same, it is good...it means that the combination of your food and exercise are equilibrium...so you know what to adjust.
7. If it lower, it means you are on target, adjust if you still have some room.

Some Dieting rules:
1. As much as possible, avoid foods that are white...eg white bread, white rice, garri, etc...
2. As much as possible, avoid fried food.
3. Eat lots of fruits, fiber, vegetable, drink lot of water, etc..
4. As much as possible, Stop eating processed food, canned food, etc...
5. Beer, mineral, etc also contain lots of calories and sugar that will readily be converted to fat once it hits your stomach..

Exercise rules:
1. Include exercises that would target your stomach muscles...push ups, strength training in the GYM, etc.
2. I usually prefer getting the cardio-exercise going and steady for weeks before start adding strength training this mix
3. Also know that, for every additional 1 lbs or 0.46 kg of Muscles you are able to add, you burn additional 35-50 calories at rest each day...which means, if you can add or replace 10 lbs of fats with 10 lbs of muscles....you burn additional 1 lb of fat each week at rest.

It is not by force for every to hold the money na? If you pocket change no reach N5000, you can hold the lesser denomination...the USA have $10,000 note; but it is not widely in circulations because not many people conduct transactions with that note on a daoly bases...

The only valid argument is not, it will be a magnet for counterfeiters....If this is the problem why shouldn't the energy be focus on this problem? and it is very difficult for counterfeiters to pump N10000 notes into circulations as it is only on very few occasions that you will buy something and expect change in N5000 or N10000 notes....and tell your grand mama that sells provisions in the market not to accept the notes, problem solved.....but some people will need this notes.

Have it occurred to you that, it only happen when you sleep on your back? And virtually everyone that have indicated that it happens to them...Muslims and Christians alike, says the force or 'demon' was pressing their chest or was on top of their chest...I have not read any single case where the 'demon' was pressing their back or someone sitting on their back or on their side....or is there something about 'pressing the back/side' that this demon is scared of? or make these demons powerless when you sleep on your stomach but gives them power when you only sleep on your back.

Yes, we have to pray all the time including when going to bed, but sleep paralysis is a simple medical condition. I also snores when I sleep with my back and have difficulty breathing, I can also chalk this up to the 'demons' suffocating me in my sleeps and not the fact that my tongue is closing my airways thus leading to difficulty in breathing and some noise aka snoring as the air forces its way pass the reduced openings..

There are a lot of evils that Satan and demons are responsible for on earth, but sleep paralysis is not one of them....any physical activity including shouting, yelling, moving that can be successfully done breaks you away from this state, because it restores your full consciousness....

My dear forget oyibo theories. they call it sleeping paralysis buy i call it "being pressed by a demon". if it was sleeping paralysis how come when you Shout JESUS it stops?? it happened to me so much as a child, but its has kinda stopped now, u need to be more prayerful and believe God to deliver you from the hands of demons.... Pray before you go to bed and commit yourself in the hands of Jesus. this world is desperately wicked and only God can save us.

The processing of doing anything connects your conscious mind with your brain in other for you to be able to open your mouth and shout Jesus.

At that point you are fully awake as mind, spirit, soul and body are now alert and functioning in unison, it does not really matter if what you shouted is Jesus or Water, as long as you can force your 'lifeless' uncooperative body to do something, you will regain full consciousness.

It has happen to me many times in the past, sometimes I shout Jesus, other time I wait it out and many times I have broken out of it by forcing myself to do anything physical, eg move my body, move my legs, arms, turn on the bed, etc and it works each time. The method I chose depend on the situation and how quickly I want to wake up...Then, it usually happen to me when I have over-worked myself.

I am not saying that, there is no demon possession out there, but sleep paralysis have enough scientific and medical backings that, there is no need to blame this on devil or demons.

Believe me, on the Judgement day, there are many things that the devil or demons will be innocent of..I can envisage the devil saying...."but Lord, I did not do that, he is lying against me"...and God will say..."Yes, Lucifer I know you are not guilty of this very one"

What you highlighted only happens in village settings even in Nigeria...People that leave in metropolitan or developed areas in Nigeria and where both parents work still faces the same challenge that those in America faces...

Regarding Marriage, in this day and age; it is wrong to impose on your kids who and where they should get married...marriage is between two people, allow them to make their choice. I careless about where my kids finds love and marriage, as long as they are happy....

Finally, there is noting like 'African Culture'...there are many cultures and practices within Africa and they changes from one area to the other....as long as you are not living in your village of origin, you are bound to loss some culture as time progressives...While in secondary school, we have festivals, cultural gatherings, meetings and displays in my village that we participate in every year...When I gain admission into the University in another part of the country..I stated losing touch with those cultural practices...initially I felt it...but with time I started accommodating the lost and have since moved on.

The only way for your concerns to be alleviated is for all of us to evaporate and condense in the village and live their forever after and resist urbanization while there....you know that is not going to happen.

If Nkechi said she loves Uchenna and Amaka said she loves Emeka. Is Nkechi and Amaka really saying the same thing? Assuming that, they are both sincere and honest with their profession of love, but does that 'love' means the same thing or equals the same thing to both of them?

I have heard a lot of people say, I love him/her unconditionally, I will never leave him and I will marry him again in a do-over, etc...are they really sincere?...Yes, we have seen and heard of many people who stick to their love ones through adversities, calamities, etc..but is that not resolving to fate and settling? I mean 'settling' in a good light here. My point is, had they met that person in the exact same calamity, adversity that they are now, would they have married them? If their love was unconditional; why didn't Nkechi love Emeka or Amaka love Uchenna? You would think that, If love is unconditional, then the object of such love should be irrelevant.

I think, there is nothing like universal love and all love are conditional and that, the only being that is capable of loving unconditional is God. I also believe that love is in the eyes of the beholder and since there are different strokes for different folks, the conditions that attracted Nkechi to Uchenna is different from the conditions that attracted Amaka to Emeka....and that is why Nkechi does not love Emaka and Amaka did not love Uchenna.

Now since we have established that all love are conditional, except God's love. The next question is..what are these conditions? they may include behavior, character, spirituality, height, weight, color, creed, skin tone, State or Country of residency, money, riches, properties, gold, cars, houses, family background, community, educational status, social class, presentation, friends, sexuality, bedmatics, looks, age, parentage, employment, employer, school attended, school grades, religion (even within each religion, it depend if it is Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical or the denominational name or Sunni Muslim or Shiite Muslim, Buddhism, Wicca, Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism, etc, etc), smile, facial features, physical built, legs, bosom, backside, body figure, comportment, zodiac sign, hair, etc...the list goes on...

But is it right to judge the conditions that each person decide to place on love? Yes, some conditions are laughable e.g. legs, figure 8, zodiac signs, physical built, etc; but does that mean that, those whose conditions are things like good upbringing, spirituality, demeanor, character, etc are in more love than those whose condition are legs, money, zodiac sign or figure 8?

You might say, good upbringing, spirituality, etc are not material and they last...yes they are not material, but are you sure they last the longest? Is the world not a stage and we are all actors that appear for just a short while and disappear? Is it not true that, the only permanent thing about life is change? If the love whose condition is money and riches disappears when those riches grows wing, what made you think that the love whose condition is character will continue to thrive when those characters ceases to exist and the person turns a new leave or when the spiritual person ceases to be spiritual?..Yes, you will continue to married that person even with his/her now nonspiritual state, but, is that not settling or resolving to fate? Is that really love? will you have married that person in his/her current spiritual state if you have the opportunity of a do-over?

My summation?...love is love and it is in the eyes of the beholder and the beholder only can know the conditions attached to his/her love and all conditions have varying weights and values and depends on the beholder...and everyone else should respect the love and adjoin it the values and weights the lover have ascribed to it, irrespective of the conditions used to arrive at that love.
