Or if your truly don’t need the 1k that she gives you as you are trying to make us believe, simply be putting the money in a savings account until they amount to something worthwhile and add it to whatever you want to give back to her.

But, if you go ahead and spend the money, it means you needed it. You are just ashamed that, she is belittling you by giving you such a small amount.

Of the top 10 China consumers, US top the list…Hong Kong a very distant second, receiving less than half of what the US receives in exports from China…….Russia is no where on the list.

China can enter into strategic pacts with Russia to better their odds, but they will never join Russia to directly attack the US.

Russia will not even directly attack the US, this is the same Russia that tuck its tail behind his ass and ran away from Cuba when US threaten to wipe them out, f they have these powers, they should go back to Cuba and try to establish base there.

Im 35 years old and i have one aunty who is a generous lady. Anytime she visits and im around. She is always in the habit of giving us money from 1k to 5k.
Since 2015 she does this
Back then it was cool cuz i was young guy
But now as a man, it makes me feel uncomfortable.

Recently i meet her she gave me 1k as i was about to leave. I thought she wanted me to buy something for her. So i asked her what is the 1k for she said its for me.
I kinda felt sad, like why is this woman always giving me money anytime we meet.
One side of me hates this because as a man i feel weird to collect money from women. I feel i should be the one giving not recieving.

I almost didnt want to take the 1k, i just felt like does this woman think im homeless or a hungry broke guy that everytime we meet she give me like 1k oe 2k. Im confused

How do i react next time i see her and she wants to give me money. How shpuld i politely reject it?

If you want to stop it, very simple….next time you see her, be the first to give her some money and make it a very good sum of money.

Or better still, take time out to visit her and buy stuff to take with you and some money to thank her for her years of generosity towards you.

They touted the idea with Cuba during January after the first round of diplomacy failed and the US response was "Any Russian military activity in Cuba will be met with quick and decisive actions

Since then that idea is off the table. The US don't play when it comes to National Security, they are willing to waste trillion of dollars which the whole world will pay for in the long run to take out perceived threats

That is why I said Russia is showing weakness, they would have not backed down on establishing the military pact with Cuba, just like US is not yielding to Russia demand, they not accept Ukraine membership into NATO.

And since US have refused to accept Russia request, I think to show strength, it is high time Russia revive the talks with Cuba, that is only when US will take Russia very serious.

Playing defense with little, little countries who would have otherwise naturally be your friend is a sign of weakness on Putin’s part.

Russia doesn't really want to invade Ukraine. Russia is just doing everything it can to stop Ukraine from joining NATO.

Because if Ukraine becomes a NATO member, America and NATO can use Ukraine as a parking spot for nuclear and other ballistic weapons.

That's like pointing a gun to Russia's head, and we'll have the Cuban Missile Crisis all over again.

In this era and time, I don't think there's any country in the world that wants to go to war. Not even that mad man in North Korea.

If you think peace is expensive, try war. The cost of destruction can set your country back to the Stone Age.

Ukraine is a Sovereign country and have the right to choose who they want to be friends with or not.

The fact that, Ukraine wants to join NATO shows how distrustful they are of their next door neighbor Russia, ordinarily Ukraine wound have naturally preferred to join Russia.

This also shows failure on the part of Putin. You can’t force someone at the butt of a gun to love you. Those kind of relationships don’t last very long.

This also shows Russia and Putin as weak, they are playing checkers while the Americans are playing chess. Right now, Russia is been forced to play defense at it’s own backyards over a country like Ukraine with which they share many similarities including blood relationships and would have been natural allies….it is like your ex-wife with whom you have many kids that you loved dearly moving in with your worst enemy and you are going for the guns and missiles against your ex-wife, to force her to retreat, that is a big own goal and it is a sign that you have lost the war, even if you temporarily win a few battles here and there.

Instead of playing defense with the US, Russia would have used this opportunity to play offense…they are friendly with Cuba, use this opportunity to up your friendship with Cuba and start acquiring/building military bases there and building missile system there at America’s own backyard and put the US uneasy…the US will become the ones portray to the world as the aggressor and bad ones in that situation.

After defeating Ukraine, is Russia going to also defeat and win over the hearts and minds of Ukraine citizens or they will forever force them to tow the line under the barrel of the gun?

These types of relationships are artificial and they don’t last long, issues like these like the ex-wife analogy I stated above, are better resolved through dialogue and diplomacy, where Ukraine will have to give some and Russia give some…by going to war with them, you have just validated their needs for wanting to join NATO in the first place.

here is the problem and challenges I have been facing on the job, I have almost six superior that are above me in terms of ranks, but I was made to supervise them. this superior don't send their report to me or seek my opinion on anything.

I know they are not happy with me. my regional manager on sensing that this may be a problem recommended that I should be promoted ahead of all my superior yet our management is not saying anything about the recommendation of my regional manager.

most of this superior lobbied for this position but I was picked because of my ability's to deliver on the job.

experience peeps how do I handle a situation where I am supervising my superior yet they are not reporting to me or can I issue queries to them.

Look at the positive side of things, since they are not happy with you; they will tend to look for your faults and errors and magnify them or use them to seek your downfall.

This very fact, help in energizing you to bring your best and go above and beyond every single time. It makes you re-think, double-think before you do anything, because you know they will critique it.

Sometimes, we need enemies more than friends, friends rarely want to hurt you or see you go through pains, but enemies don’t mind and that activate more motivation in us.

What is being said is that in the likelihood of Ukraine joining NATO, the Eastern Ukrainians, i.e. the republic of Donbass region who are ethnic Russians will reject the admission into NATO, and will decide to declare independence. After all, why will they join an association that is set-up to fight them?

Russia is just re-echoing the sentiments of the Eastern Ukrainians, promising - like in the case of Crimea and South Ossetians to honour their request, and probably defend their (Donbass) sovereignty.

Therefore, it'd be utter lunacy for Ukraine to think that they can join NATO, and at the same time prevent ethnic Russians in Ukraine from Joining their motherhland. It's just plain stupid!

If Ukraine wants to Join NATO, they are welcome to do that, as long as they do not stand in the way of the Eastern Ukrainians quest to rejoin Russia. But if they think they can eat their cake and have it, then they should get ready for carpet bombing. Which even the combined power of NATO won't save them!

These are complete balderdash!

If Russia only intend is to defend the Eastern part, why are their troops in the Southern and Northern border with Ukraine also?

And why is Putin demand to Ukraine is that, they should make a pronouncement that, they wouldn’t join NATO as a pre-condition for normalcy?

Why is Putin continual negotiations with the US is that Ukraine should not be accepted into NATO?

Yes, America was foolheaded to think they can swung in and change a country’s culture and rule. The people determines how they want to be ruled and in some countries, they don’t want democracy, America have to learn that, that is why their previous experiments have failed.

In this case, Ukraine want to self rule and they want to join NATO and such have gone ahead to write it in their constitution. Russia wants them to renounce their intentions of joining NATO and so far, they have refused hence this confrontation.

All America is trying to do is to aid them in want they have already determined is best for them, America is not dictating Ukraine stands to them.

Russia is also right not to want Western Alien at their border and they rightly don’t trust America, situations like these are best worked out through dialogue and diplomacy and not through the threat of war.

I see this situation very similar to your ex-wife with whom you have beautiful kids that you adore wanting to be best friends with your arch enemy and for the seek of your kids, you don’t want that friendship to happen….but as it is, all the cards are not in your hands.

If the event took place, it is not defamation.

It is not defamation if the guy broadcast it that, she took his money and didn’t show up, despite the offer for a refund.

If one stole money or goods, their sincere and genuine offer to refund and do restitution does not exonerate them from been prosecuted for the crime of theft.

That good gesture is only a mitigating factor to be considered during the sentencing phase of the trial after they may have been convicted.

Building a refinery is a highly complex and complicated endeavor and what happens is, Dangote will hire a consulting firm to over see the whole process.

The consulting firm breakdown the whole project into sub specialized unit and sub contract each of those sub units to other contractors or consultants.

These sub contractors or sub consultants can further breakdown their units into smaller parts and sub contract each part to other highly specialized companies….it is these highly specialized companies that then hire laborers and specialists and also pay them to work.

Dangote like many will read about this for this first time on the pages of Twitter, that is if someone forwards it to him.

USA don’t add Countries to NATO, it is the individual Countries that have to apply to join.

It has been Ukraine that has been delaying and her previous President did not want to join and the popular opinion in Ukraine then was to remain neutral and not to join.

In Brussels in 2021, NATO says it will accept Ukraine and add them, once they officially request. The wait now is not from NATO but of Ukraine and the US have rejected Putin’s request to oppose the addition of Ukraine just as they oppose it.
