Kobojunkie:Am confused by your logic. You have to repent, believe, confess your sin and live thereafter by His Grace...He will then impute righteousness unto you....while you go and sin no more. Demons and the Devil do not believe, they are rebels aka unbelievers, therefore incapable of repenting and they would confess their sins....therefore they can’t be saved from the condemnation of sin. |
I don’t see anything unscriptural in what he said here. You have to make assumptions of what he did not say in order to fault his preaching here. He clearly did not say that...”We should continue to abide in sin, so that Grace may abound”. If you agreed that, your righteousness cannot take you to heaven, then it is also correct and accurate that your sins cannot take you to hell. If you subscribe to the fallacy that, your sins can take you to hell, then you must be passively albeit in error admitting that your continual righteousness will take to heaven. The Bible said, all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Whoever who said they are above sin, even repented born again, spirit filled Christians, the Bible call them liars. We are all saved by Grace, it is an unmerited favor and does not have any direct relationship with what we did or did not do pre or post been born again. These not withstanding; the Bible warns that, if we continue in Sin post salvation, the Grace of God will not continue to abound. However, if we repent our sins would be covered. These are deep Christian beliefs that many continue to trip upon and fall. The price for sin has been paid in full, therefore if anyone find themselves in Hell, it is not because of their sins, because if you flip the screen, there are countless sinners like them in Heaven. The only reason they are in Hell is most likely because of their unrepentance and unbeliefs....including post salvation unrepentance and unbeliefs. |
FarahAideed:And you also know all these people health profiles, hearth conditions, etc? That someone is engaging in, but not getting hurt in something common sense & science shows is dangerous, is not enough to rule out the fact that another got hurt by that same activity. Smoking is dangerous and undermines your internal organs gradually, we know that for a fact. However, the acceleration of the organ danger differs from one individual to another and it depend on a number of factors e.g. how healthy their organs were to begin with, their genetics, other health issues, lifestyle choices, environment, access to good medical resources, etc. |
Rozcol:It is only awkward, because people like you view it as such. The same blood that run through the veins of men, also race through women’s veins. They too, desire sex, have urges, etc just like men, the fact that they chose to be discreet does not excuse it. In this particular case, there was no sex for a whole year, for someone that is sexually active and able to, that is abuse. |
Megatrix:Jury trial is not imposed on anyone in the US. The Defendant must consciously choose either a Jury trial or a trial by a Judge. Most defendants opt for a Jury trial because their chances of not getting convicted increases in a Jury trial since all 11 Juries must vote to convict before they can be found guilty....if just one Jury vote differently, the defendant wouldn’t be convicted....so defense lawyers targets to convince just one or a few Judy. Alternatively, with a trial by a Judge, you only have one chance. Finally, the Appeal Court did not consider the merit of the case before over turning, they merely stated that due to prior agreements between Mr. Cosby and the Prosecutor who first handled the case, he should not have been charged, there the conviction would have still been over turned had it been it was a trial by a Judge. |
LadyRosa:You are confusing men with Playboys.....Playboys full town, know the difference so it does not end in tears. Some ladies didn’t know the difference or were indifferent about it, now they have ended up as side-chicks. If you end up as side-chick with a Playboy, it means you are very good as a lady, hence the promotion to side-chick, otherwise Playboys are known mostly for hit-n-run....don’t get me wrong, they can be hitting it for weeks, months or even years, but las-las, they will run. |
Nephilim:Good analysis, in addition: 1. There is nothing like “ U.S Bureau of Immigrant Affairs” in the US. The only department of USCIS that handles visas in the US is called National Visa Center -NVC and they don’t handle visitor or tourist visas. 2. All US visitor/tourist visas have to be initiated from an embassy abroad. 3. The two domain names, ie the one for the ‘hotel’ and the one for conference organizers are new and less than 8 months and they were registered on the same registry and were registered three days apart. 4. Both domain names will expire in October, 2021 ie in four months. |
What was the rational in the forced coercion of the proclamation of faith to Mohammed and Islam, when one want to leave comments on Islam related topics? This truly serve no purpose, as coercion does not equal to a believer, there should be no religious test before comments should be allowed. Then, when you proceed with imposing the religious test and allegiance, why the bias against Christianity and Christian related comments? The same proclamation of faith and allege towards Jesus should be enforced on Christian related topics. |
authority2006:I didn’t remember where I indicated that the advent of Twitter triggered businesses in Nigeria. I was just Channeling frustration revealed by many Nigeria businesses online, you can google those stories yourself. I guess you are not into business or does business using Twitter as an advertising tool, but many who does have seen drastic reductions in revenue, some more than 80% dip. My brother I care less and give a grand total of zero fvcks.....if Twitter, Facebook and the collective rest of the SM OTT apps are ban and locked out of Nigeria space and disappear as you put it. |
J2381:That question will best answered by Nigerian, who carry their hand go internet go download Twitter, come create account come agree to Twitter teams & conditions, including all the 9ja politicians & government. Twitter for their own give 9ja the middle carry their Africa HQ by Nigeria go Ghana wey no reach Lagos. Las las, Nigeria businesses go suffer am pass. |
J2381:No bi by force, if you no like their rules, delete your Twitter account and kokoma delete the App from your fone. If you want make we follow ya own rules, build your own Twitter and come invite us to join. |
Ifyjos:lol! The truth is, when one is dead, they don’t need pity, love, disdain, in fact all the RIP are rubish to the dead...we say them, because they make us feel and look ‘good’ and are appealing to the family of the dead. As far as the dead? They don’t give a Bleep, if we give or don’t give a Bleep! |
Sanchez01:You know this how? At best, your conclusions above is your personal opinion just like the opinion of the other people you don’t believe. The man is in the best position to say why, he did what he did. In most cases, but not all...the wife might have a faint idea. |

Why are you trying to make the same mistake twice over a single guy? First you regret and blame yourself for not first asking God before you told him...I do. Now, instead of going back to ask God, how to undo...the I do, you are here asking Nairaland. Are testing us to see if what we will tell you will line up with what God have told you, or you are using us as the last Bus stop before going to God or you don’t like what God have told you and you are here trying to second guess him? |
Can someone please, explain to us how using VPN exposes one’s data and banking information to hackers? Do these people know what VPN is and how it is setup? When the rest of world went into lockdown since early 2020 due to COVID, millions of office workers worldwide stayed productive by using VPN to remotely access their company’s intranet and internet and kept working. Some companies in the US have now asked their workers not to return back to the office and that they continue working remote aka continue using VPN. Corporate real estate is suffering in the US now, because companies are realizing that, they do not need to rent a huge office space, pay for electricity, cooling, etc for workspace for their employees. The employee will use their own internet access, their own real estate, their own phone lines, their own power and cooling while the company safe on those items and productivity is not affected...all thanks to VPN. VPN uses strong algorithms for authentication, and strong ciphers to encrypt your data, what are mine missing in this misinformation from the minister of information? |
Sunmoluvic:I agree, but I do not think ICAAN was involved in this though. What most likely happened, since that is what has happened in the past when DOJ seize domain names. DOJ obtained a Court warrant and served it on VeriSign and Internet Registry companies and where able to obtain access to those .com, .net .tv domain names, they went in and changed the DNS records to point the domain names to DOJ/FBI static page with the new content. The original site contents were still intact and not touched, so the original sites were able to come online almost immediately using different domain names. Since the companies that have the contract to maintain all .com, .net, .org, .tv and some other top level domains are registered businesses in the USA, DOJ can bypass ICAAN and serve these companies with seizure warrants on any top level domain mentioned above. Iran has their own country-specific top level domain, they can do whatever they want there and the US cannot touch them unless the US go through ICAAN and ICAAN approves such take over, but it will be highly contentious as it will be seen as subverting another Country's sovereignty. All these people talking ignorantly here, forget so soon that the internet and TCP/IP that powers the internet came directly from the US Department of Defense and the USA Government ...pause for a second and imagine if the internet were to come from Russia, Iran or China.....do you think we will have Nairaland here talking rubbish about them? |
J2381:US did not block the sites, if you read the article very well, you would see that, it clearly stated that the sites are back online....DOJ seized the domain names and did not block them. |
Positivepoint:I never knew the US Government Ban Trump, I thought Trump was the Government itself? He even ban the whole Country of Iran and some Africa Countries, including my dear country Nigeria... during his reign without a single Court Order!.....or are ignorantly comparing a company to a Government? Don't tell me you do not know the difference. |
kiddkash:For many years now, Iran has ban many American websites from operating within Iran, why do you think I American should not retaliate in kind? Trump even ban the whole country, not just a website, in your analogy, Trump must be the Saint? |
Doyin2:You clearly don’t know how US laws or warrants in the US works. No agencies in the US have the power to issue warrants, all they can do is write them but they are worthless and don’t worth the paper they are written on unless they are presented before a Judge and the Judge append his/her signature to it. So, a warrant in the USA is a Court Order from a Judge. My goal is to set the above straight, am not in any way saying what DOJ did was right or wrong or comparing it to Nigeria action against Twitter, that is another debate. |
matt97367:Unless, you are in a Private University in Nigeria....with the constant ASUU strikes, isn’t it too premature to assume that, you may be losing ‘3 years’, since no one knows how many more years is left. But in Europe, things will be more predictable. |
abbey621:Agreed, ECOWAS court does not have much of any enforcement mechanism to leverage here, so the order may be ignored by Nigeria Government and nothing will be done. However, the significance of this ruling and order is very important. The FG knew about this, hence they participated and filed their appearance and defense before the Court. This ruling is a bad PR campaign against the FG and further undermine their credibility and sincerity behind the ban, since a third party have reviewed the arguments from both sides. For a Country that relies almost exclusively on imports for survival, ostracizing the international community is a recipe for disaster and I doubt if our Politicians are capable of ignoring the international community. We are not Iran or North Korean that can endure increasing sanctions and bad PRs, those countries have viable internal manufacturing base. I believe that, if common UK block these Politicians from coming into their country for common medical checkups, our dear Politicians will fold....so, forget UN that is too fear, our dear leaders will not survive a simple UN rebuke, they would want anything that will frozen and jeopardize their foreign accounts & assets. |
One thing, I truly don't understand in all these criminal cases....is: When they catch the suspects, most of the times; they will confess and own up....some even in front of the journalist on live TV, many will detail the process and what happened and be responding to journalists questions, but when they enter into a Courtroom, they will plead not guilty. I will guess, the prosecutor can use their confessions against them in court. |
Smhaykins:Bros, age does not matter...it all depends on your desire, drive, and determination. My advice is, sit down and ask yourself....."Are mine looking for quick money to feed or am looking for a career?" If you are looking for quick money, a career in networking is not for you. In networking just like in any IT profession, you have 'to do the time' before you reap the reward. You must also love networking and IT, because the road is going to be very challenging and after a while as you progress, it is going to be very lonely as well, but your love for it will be your only stay. If your focus is a career in networking, CCNA, Network+ are courses that will help give you the needed foundation. Sometimes, I tell people that, CCNA is more difficult than CCIE, they laugh and say you must be joking....I have many certifications, including CCIE, Azure and AWS, etc... The reason I stated that CCNA is more difficult is because, at that level you are very green and are being introduced to a whole new concept, new terminologies, etc...but at CCIE level you have some foundation beneath you already. I rememeber during my CCNA days, I struggled to distinguish the difference between 'a broadcast domain and a collision domain'...don't get me wrong, I know the definitions, but when I paused and ask myself, what is the difference....I use to draw a blank. You can start Azure, AWS, etc...but you should know that Azure and AWS are overly platforms.....these providers gave you a platform upon which to build 'something'...but you must know that 'something' before you can build on these platforms. e.g. if you are a Network Administrator, you already know Windows, Unix, Networking, TCP/IP, Window servers, Switches, etc... you can connect them one to the other, log into them and configure one or two things.....and you can also 'touch, feel and smell them'. When you learn Azure of AWS platform, you will still need your previous knowledge of Windows, Unix, Networking, etc to build these networks....the truth is, the only difference is you will not be able to touch, feel and smell them again. Also, if you are a Cisco Network Engineer; when you go into Azure, you will still setup Routers, Switches, Load balancers, Firewalls, Routing, Security Devices, Switching, IPv4, IPv6, etc....without these 'something' all your Azure knowledge are nothing....Same goes for Developers and programmers (full stack or otherwise). All your networking skill to build an internetwork will be tasked on Azure and AWS...as a Developer all those things you learn about the development life cycle will be tasked including your ability to write codes with Azure pipelines, Azure Life cycle management, etc. I am very positive that, all the people asking you to learn Cloud have one or two other underlying skillsets they are leveraging on Azure or AWS, also I will wonder when they do, once they launch an Azure portal or connect to it via PowerShell? By the chance you choose to take this career path; I will bet you that you will not be making a mistake....pursue knowledge first, then money will follow. But, you have the drive and hunger to soldier on.....Some people have some side consulting thing to do while they build a career...building a career takes time, but it lasts longer even a lifetime......or some just go into entrepreneurship and dive into business, you have to choose what is best for you. |
Some people and advise self na wao..... Una wey dey tell the guy make him no do CCNA or CCNP, say na CCIE be the baba, how him go take reach yonder? Some dey even say CCIE Security as if CCIE na moimoi? Agreed, CCIE does not have any pre-requisite, but advising the OP to gun for CCIE without testing the waters with CCNA and CCNP is almost like telling a secondary school graduate, that BSc and MSc are almost everywhere now, that he/she should go for Ph.D. Getting CCIE is good, but as a beginner with no network working experience or other lower Cisco certifications, you will be easily overwhelmed and frustrated, you may even end up hating the decision to attempt it, all because you skip a lot of basic foundational steps....don't do it! Also, Cloud certifications like AWS, Azure, etc are good...but these are all overly networks, you are much more valuable if you also understand the underly networks and the Openstack network orchestration that feeds these overly networks and also to which these overly networks interconnect to in cases of hybrid clouds. The OP need basic networking, routing, switching, security knowledge before he can be successful as a Cloud Engineer...After Azure Fundamentals certifications, these basic networking principles will help him, when he start going for higher Azure or AWS certification...moreso he will be using Azure, AWS, etc cloud Architectures to build the same underly networks that Cisco and other vendors will teach him......Also there are now many vendors e.g. Cisco software defined cloud devices that he may have to instantiate on Azure or AWS cloud, and without previous knowledge of working with these vendor devices, all his Azure or AWS knowledge and trainings wouldn't help. There is a difference between trying to build a career and looking for a quick training that will quickly start providing bread and butter....if the OP is looking for a career like he stated and for many others who want to build a career in the cloud....If you want to be a Cloud Engineer, do not forsake basic networking from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, etc and if you want to be a Cloud Developer, your knowledge of Software development, coding, python, shell scripting, etc will give you an edge on whatever career path you may want to choose in the cloud. |
lalasticlala:So, what was the first arrest for, if it was in the process of calling another police officer, after your ‘arrest’ that VPN & Twitter were found on your phone? |
What will surprise me here is, if this man and many other men under his shoes are not progressing; they will be blaming witches and wizards and running from Pastor to another in search of needless deliverance. What they have failed to realize is that, they used their own hands to marry the witch, put her under their roof. With a wife that reasons like this and put this kind of pressure on her husband, knowing fully well the limited resources and income available to him; who need a witch? |
Sultty:You can’t satisfy Nigerians! If he use toy guns like in many of the current Nollywood movies, na una still still come social media come dey yab them say dem dey use toy guns like pickin dem and the noise be like knock-out noice kpa-kpa....una go point them go Hollywood movies wey get the real thing. Now dem go get real guns, so dem go give una the real thing, una still come dey blame them. |
There are lots of unknowns with Bank B, plus you will have reduced income flow while you wait for the unknown....there are chances it may turn out better, but don’t lose sight of the chance, it may even turn out worst.....so, why the sacrifice for an unknown outcome? Better the devil you know, than the angel you don’t know, goes a popular saying. Stay with what you know, but continue to strive for a position including another place of work, where you will find happiness and fulfillment. |
Na wa oh! ....and the bottle wey they buried under the ground and just removed is still fresh like that, no trace of sand or mud or dirty on the bottom! And there are some freshly laid down blocks, at most a few months back on the ‘abandon’ project? Oga Prophet well done, na make Obiora wire some deliverance fees or more prophetic visions fees enter Prophet account na him remain....I just pray say, make Obiora get small sense, make him no buy this market wey this Prophet wan sell’am so. |
