GreetMe:
Coronavirus originated in China, they're a large number of Chinese in Africa but the disease is mostly brought by Europeans into Africa.

Is something not fishy here? Why are the Europeans the one spreading it in Africa? All the cases in Africa were brought in from Europe.
Nothing fishy about it.

Ebola started in Congo near the Ebola River, but it was not Congolese that spread it across the whole world.

The index case in Nigeria was a Liberian- America call Patric Sawyer; the index case in the US was a man who travelled from West Africa (not Congo, which is in Central Africa) to Tx.

What this tell you relative to the Coronavirus and in general to other communicable diseases is that tourists tend to move quickly in/and out of your country or city compare to the indigenes....ie if you count everyone that either entered or left 9ja on average on a single day, there are more foreigners than Nigeria citizens and these are the people to moves into the next country and introduce something foreign they acquire from the third country into the new country.

Can a state governor remove a traditional ruler?
Yes, a state Governor can remove a traditional ruler from office, even a mere LGA Chairman can remove a traditional ruler from office.

The only issue is, if it is not a popular decision, the Governor or LGA Chairman would face the back-clash of his/her constituents, but given the peculiar nature of Nigeria, that will never happen.

You are talking as if the US embassy cares which of the two options is cheaper for the family.

If you even dare to do this cost analysis for them, they would prefer you bring the body home; one because you have told them that, there an alternative option that will require no visa; two the bulk of the money you will spend to bring the body home will be to US tax payers, which will help their economy.

You mean like bury from home? I mean like when they say work from home? Something like a remote burial
There is something fishing here, hence the embassy is denying their visa.

The Rev. Sister was a nun and have colleagues, they can write and give the power of attorney to anyone over in US to act on their behalf.

It is not true that they must be in US for the burial to take place. Even in Nigeria where there are strong cultural and traditional practices and precedents, there are no rules cut in stone like this. Someone else can stand for a required attendee who could not make it in burial, marriages, etc in Nigeria talkless of the US where there are no traditions....

In Nigeria self, dem don do correct burial ceremony for empty coffee if the body could not be located or could not be brought home. The siblings want to use this opportunity to jappa, no one is going anywhere, we all voted for this change and next level, let’s all suffer it together.

The question is perfect, this is a postgraduate course on performing Art for crying out loud.

If these suppose performing Art students don’t know anything about performing Art in Nigeria, they deserve to fail....and if they are tuned to performing Art in Nigeria, they will never miss the cultural influence of Naira Marley.

Apart from Fela, he is the only musician in Nigeria that have instilled a way of life on a segment of Nigeria population. Nigeria Universities should study this trend and see how it will affect us as a Nation....ignoring a problem is never a solution, rather you study it, learn from it and use the same propagation pattern to reach the same segment of the population affected by this.

HealthRe: An American’s Experience Of Trying To Get Tested For Coronavirus by linearity: 1:48pm On Mar 04, 2020
If you think you have the virus and are developing signs, don’t stress yourself trying to go get tested.

It is of no use, except to quarantine you and isolate you from the general public, so you don’t spread it....but you can do that yourself and self-quarantine yourself in your house, drink plenty of fluid, rest very well do everything to nourish yourself to give your immune system a fighting chance.

There is no magic pill the hospital can give you that ‘cure’ a virus infection all that can be done is aid your body immune system to fight the virus invaders, and you can do the same from the comfort of your house.

Also, mortality rate is about 2-3%, so if you are not very young and not very old your chances of surviving is approximately 100%.

Sometimes, I shake my head when I hear and see what today’s Pastors and Prophets do and compare it to the scriptures and ask myself...what would Jesus do?

These are representatives of Christ on earth; Jesus said, greater works shall you do because I go to my father....will Jesus cancel a retreat or crusade because there is sickness in the Land? When the Soldier came and complained about his sick daughter, Jesus went there and heal her, when Lazarus died, he went their and took care of it....when the 5000 who came to his retreat where hungry, he took care of that.

Don’t get me wrong, am a Christian...but sometimes I just wonder that, it is very likely that Jesus have come and taken the Christians away to heaven and all that is left is just religious shell games and showmanship.

how can a chief justice asking lawyer what nest did he want the lawyer to Jorge him self
That is very relevant question, I have heard arguments from US Supreme Court many times, they ask such question to gauge the litigant’s expectations in face of the law and their arguments.

In fact, each time you petition a case before any court, you are essentially trying to convince the Judge and almost telling him or her what is ‘next’.

In the US sometimes, the Judge ask one of the opposing Lawyers to write the final court order and in some cases, the lawyers submit their separate version of the final order and submit it to the along with their petitions or answers and judge signs the order from the side that then won the case.....and the court will stamp it and that becomes the order from the Judge/Court.

In the US and most western countries, before your plane land, they have already know whole itinerary and the countries you have passed through, they know your contacts and everything, if they ask you, they are just tying to confirm.

Bahddo:
you must be kidding me. Are you talking about the same Ebola that had an outbreak in 2014/2015? Ebola is deadlier.

This is like saying the most common snakes are the deadliest snakes because they are more likely to bite you, when there are some less common snakes that would congeal your blood in seconds after it bites. In nature, the deadliest things aren't very common/contagious, or we'd all be dead.

Oga, Ebola killed more than 11,000 persons in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea alone. That's out of less than 30,000 infected. Do your research properly.

Now imagine as many as 100,000 persons got infected.

The only reason Corona virus is continuing to spread is because it is a new strain, and there's so much we don't know about it yet. It's far more contagious, but being deadly is about the likelihood of death not the likelihood of an infection.

Many persons have recovered from Coronavirus, despite the fact that it is new and we don't understand it much yet.
I was referring to the second Ebola Alert that started in 2018.

Even if you adjust for the combined first and second Alert, with start date of even 2014/2015; total death toll was 11k and total infection was 28k; that is a time period of 5 years to date...i.e. 2.2k died from Ebola each year.

Coronavirus started later Dec. 2019, it have been here for just 3 months; total death 3k and total infection is 87k now; adjust that three months for a year will yield 12k death per year....which means Coronavirus is projected to kill as many people in month that it takes Ebola virus to kill in one year!

You are looking at the micros effect and making a mistake of limited it to an individual survival rate to computer general risk. Step back and look at the bigger picture, the macro effect; as a people combined, as a country combined, as a civilization combined, as an economy combined....Coronavirus, will kill more of us and it is more deadly to our existence compare to Ebola.

Now, do the infection zone inverse analysis; i.e. Ebola epicenter was in Africa the weakness place of all, where the chances of survival is the lowest; hence it's death numbers were that high; had the epicenter being China or any of the western country; the recorded death would have been much lower.....now, close your eyes and flip the coin and assume had it been the epicenter of Coronavirus was in Africa? Do you think we would just be counting only 11k death by now? Watch the decontamination efforts in China today, they build a guarantee hospital within days, they decontamination whole cities on a daily bases, but the thing is still going on....which Africa country have that kind of manpower.

The truth is, we all pray they find the vaccine and make it available this think hits Africa; otherwise when the body bags still pilling up across Africa; we will quickly juxtapose the idea that Ebola survival rate was 50% and Coronavirus is 3%, therefore we are saver.
Christianity EtcRe: Was Coronavirus Included In 2020 Prophecies? by linearity: 1:43pm On Mar 01, 2020
Bahddo:
oga, corona virus has a 2% mortality rate. If 100 persons get infected, only 2 die. Ebola had a 50% rate. If 100 persons get infected, 50 would die.

SARS (another corona virus) had a 10% death rate.

Corona virus just spreads more easily. It isn't deadlier. If you guys weren't panicking like headless chickens running from country to country, it wouldn't be spreading this fast either.
Your figure are glossy understated; your calculations are based on static evaluation of both disease.

You did not include the dynamic factor you alluded to in your last paragraph to it, which is the spread factor.

Coronavirus is deadliest because; it is killing the world faster, because it is spreading faster and furious.

As at Feb. 2020, Ebola death toll worldwide stood at 3,302 that is for a disease that started like two years ago; Coronavirus just came a few months ago and have claimed more than 2,800 lives...if you adjust Coronavirus on the same timeline as Ebola, it’s death toll will breach 10,000 world wide.

Bros, if Coronavirus reaches those same countries in Africa where Ebola reached, that 10,000 figure above is even too low.....Back to your question, which of the two is more deadlier?

WATCHOVER:
Primate Ayodele prophesied it that a virus worst than ebola would come sometimes in 2015/16.
None sense!

For everything there is today, there will come something bigger and better, the only difference is passage of time.

There will even be a virus in the future worst than Coronavirus!

A football player better that Messi!

A harmattan season worst than the last one!

A raining season worst than the last one!

A flood that will be more devastating than the worst one so far on record!

Nigeria will get worst than this, before it will get better!

All the above including the one you ascribed to a prophet above are not prophesies, mere common sense predictable event base on past and current observations?

I will even predict now, that given the fact of this coronavirus happening; many ‘Prophets’ are taking notes and their 2021 ‘Prophesies’ will now include something like this.

They are mad right now, why they didn’t include a ‘prophesy’ like this in their 2020 predictions, because if they did, they will be cashing out at the bank right now, but am 100% sure at at least two or more will not miss this opportunity come 2021.

Humans are made for this world, it's too late to be unable to survive or adapt.
The human immune system is very very robust and powerful and can withstand and defeat millions of pathogens.

The problem is, it is a catch-22; on one hand disease causing pathogens are evolving & mutating to defeat the immune system and on the other hand humans that have under study our immune system and know how they response are engineering more potent pathogen whose purpose is to defeat our immune system.

Since the immune system is in capable of know everything that is out there and they work best to response once faced with the pathogen, hence they always play catch-up.

So some people that wear it thinks they are fully protected and as a result might start unconsciously start touching other surfaces then wipe their eyes or remove their face mask and use likely infected hands to wipe their nose and mouth thereby transferring the virus on top themselves.
