This question is for those who have attended an immigrant visa interview and/or have collected their visa package from DHL... A dependent of mine just attended the interview and they gave the person an immigrant summary sheet that she sent me a picture of, indicating that everyone who was given an immigrant visa is require to pay $220 that will be used for processing of their card, while in the USA. This fees is legit, but to pay this fees, one need the A-Number and the DOC Case#, but the space where these information suppose to be written on, on the document she was given is blank.... My question, it appear that the immigration summary sheet they were given after the interview is just informational, is that correct? If you attended an immigrant interview and was successful, then you were given this document, was the space for A-Number & DOC Case# also blank in yours? Also, it appear that one will only know their A-Number & DOC Case# after they collect their package, my research indicate that; it will be staple to the immigrant visa package that one will collect from DHL....for those who have gone through this process, is that correct? |
bikerboy1:But, the tweet confirmed the write up by saying, everything was accurate except money not in the bank....so if the lay-off was inaccurate, they would have also pointed it out. Also, it is inconceivable not to lay off staff if the major source of your income is gutted. |
Judeerons32:Is that not the same thing the FG does and use the Police Force, EFCC, etc for? That is the main reason the FG is afraid of the State Police, because the fear is that some State Governor will abuse it, the same way they are doing. But, is that a good rational or even an argument to put forward when discussing State Police? It is like saying, men should not get marry because some men abuse their wives...that is how stupid it sounds, the focus should be how to monitor, prevent, account for abuses but at the FG & at the State and how to penalize them as well. |
Those type of things only look good and sexy while they are still inside bra.....once you remove them and gravity takes their toll, they become source of disappointment and regrets. So ladies, make sure you keep them inside the bra in the public, especially as you invite strangers to come and join you. Their attraction is not the admiration of your person, but just to add you to their body counts. |
RaptorX:They don’t have the to the sophistication of FBI, but they do, Mali, Ghana, etc.....even common Chad here was initially on the first ban and they revert back, upgraded their system and they were remove from the ban list. Nigeria is a transit Country, Diplomatic sources confirmed that the USA government had discussions with Abuja for two years over passport control, issuance and security around immigration. Six months ago, it told our diplomats in US that it was going to ban us, we did nothing! There are reports within diplomatic circle that terrorists who enter Nigeria from Mali through northern Nigeria are issued Nigerian passports that they use to fly to Yemen and elsewhere for terrorism training. The Buhari free-visa passes at our airport, I'm told, tipped the balance against us. Femi Adeshina won't tell Nigerians the truth! In Ghana you only have original birth certificate, and can be traced to your university, secondary school and primary school. A Whitman can enter Nigeria Passport office and come out with a Nigerian international passport, he can buy local government origin certificate. In Nigeria I can buy original primary school document to secondary to university, buy ID, buy marriage certificate. Our own President even have WAEC issue him a 1964 original certificate with his old age pictures attached showing subjects that he took, which are different from the previous WAEC results he was showing, then they gave us a different iteration of why it was done and how it was normal practice. If you are a country, whose entire documentation met to emigrate into your country can be sold on the street of a third country, and that third country have porous borders and have recently announced Free for all entry visa, will you still allow citizen from that country into yours?....we are only deceiving ourselves. And because Nigeria sends the highest number of immigrants to the US yearly from Africa, we are seen as more security threat....because any Tom dick and Harry can get genuine Nigeria identity and pass as us and recent polices like free visa now allows them in with no proper checks. Let’s stop blaming outsiders for our internal problem and be grateful that they were even so generous to point it to us. |
johnmattew:So which criminal database Nigeria get, wey they wan share now? If a man commits man slaughter in Aba, and he ran to Lagos to stay, spent the next ten years in Lagos and luck shines on him and gots an opportunity to migrate to the US....the US embassy requires him to go and collect a Police Character Certificate from a designated Police Station in Lagos, this report is the same as the US FBI report. So, which database dey ground now, wey the officer go look come know say, this guy don true true kill person before come report am for him Police Character Report? How long you think say e go take 9ja to build that Kai database? Remember say, some people for almost 5 years now, no fa get common National ID card....plus how will deal with the human factor or the Police guy, that will collect bribe from you and ignore to report what is on your file? The committee that the Presidency setup na IGG! |
Audio committee! The problem is inherently Nigerian and structural. This is a joke of the century, the same government that does not see the security lapses in recruiting ‘repented’ BH into the Army want to setup a committee to address security lapses.....who is fooling who? |
Cut her loose, life is too short to invest in misery at this early stage of your life! Yes, the monetary investments, especially the 3m spent on the wedding is painful...but my question is how much is your peace of mind worth? You have already made the mistake, acknowledge that fact and let it go...no need hoping if you soldier on, it may get better.....my brother, no matter how hard you try..... ‘You can’t shine shit’. |

Treasureprince1:It is not certain category of immigrant visa, it is all categories of immigrant visa, spousal visa inclusive....except for specialized immigrant visa for those helpful to the US government...that means US military interpreters, US army or marine recruitment from Nigeria, US spies, etc... |
I think it cut both ways, that is to the guy without a car and to the lady with a car. It makes the ladies less approachable because of preconceived notions about ‘ladies with cars’. Though many of these notions may be wrong, but the resultant effect is, your pool of suitors are reduced before you are even given the chance to rebut those notions and to prove that you are different. Secondly, most ladies would not be able to stand a guy without a car, if they have one; because they are ‘now in a different class’, so many guys just shy away, without checking what is underneath the covers for fears. Thirdly, even some ladies who will entertain it do not have the self confidence to withstand their own peer pressure, as a result they either find themselves mounting more pressure on the guy to ‘upgrade’ or paint a false picture of accomplishment of their boo before their girlfriends. This makes many ladies to them go the extra mile to spend on behalf of their boyfriends to ‘upgrade’ them to bring them up to standard. This is very bad because, it purely done because of inferiority complex and many guys will dump the lady out of shame or out of self preservation. The real question is, as a lady with a car; can you truly date a guy without a car and still be proud of him, show him off to your friends as such and don’t feel ‘ashame’ inside or see a need to ‘upgrade him’ or put pressure on him to ‘upgrade himself’? Off course I don’t mean that, the guy should not have plans, aspirations or dreams. |
All dis 9ja Pastor wey just dey biff politicians instead of dem face their ministry. ‘When Jesus heard that Lazarus is dead, he told his disciples, let’s go and wake him up....’ But you will need see one of these follower of Christ Pastors take the next plane to China to go and wake some of these dead or heal others. |
Savagedawg:Bros, I don't debate hypothetical! You have no facts or stats behind your assertions, but I have to concede them to you, because everyone is entitle to their own opinion. You made an allegation of Trump's margins been very small in 2016, because the Democrats were in power; but ignored what happened two years after in 2018, when the Republicans were in power and the Democrats took the House. When you make assertions like 'Americans reject this or that', it shows that you are either not living in the US or are not is tune with the political climate. Despite your obvious misleading assertions that 'Americans have seen Biden as a criminal due to his son's deal in Ukraine. He won't win but he will try shaa', Every head to head polls between Biden and Trump, Biden is leading, am even discounting those polls, because you don't win US Presidency with National polls, among the 51 Presidential voting states in the US, only about 5-6 will determine the 2020 Presidential election...The rest are solidly or leading Democrats or Republican in respective of who is the Presidential candidate. When I Iook at these 5-6 swing states, I do not see the momentum you spoke of concerning Trump....November is still very far; it will boils down to what people will be voting on and the turnout, my position is...since there are more registered democrats, in an ideological election year, when the country is sharply divided among party line, if the turnout is huge, then Republicans will take a beating...it means all the Democrats really need to do is stage a big turnout game in those swing states. |
paosca20:hmm..... I wouldn’t be so such, though I see only one area, where lower will halt it, but it will take a radical Judge to issue a Nation wide halt. The difference between this and the first EO is that, then...there were no Supreme Court precedents for the lower courts to follow. Now the Supreme has spoken and said the President have the constitutional right to ban certain immigrants from entry the US, who they deem as Security threats, provided there are in place administrative process to make a case by case determination. Combine that, with last week decision from the US supreme on one other EO from Trump on immigrant public charge policy that was halted by a lower court in New York pending the final appeal process. The Supreme invalidate that Nation wide halt, except for the case of Illinois state and admonished the lower courts against issuing Nation wide bans. A radical district court judge can still disregard that admonishment and issue a Nation wide ban, because unlike the Supreme precedent, the administration did not provide an administrative process to examine each applicant on a case by case bases. This will be very very extreme and the chances of it happening is very slim, but never say never....but the administration can response back and extend the administrative process in the updated travel ban1 to this travel ban, thereby quashing the case. But like travel ban1, the administrative is a whitewash, it is a dumping group; after your interview, they will tell you that, your status is in ‘administrative processing’....what they really meant is, they have sent your file to Washington DC for determination aka dump. Very few people get issued visa after administrative oversight from Washington DC, some get it issue after their US relatives file either individual or class action lawsuits against the US government. If you are affected, talk to your US relative for them to be active in the US political scene, especially watching for any upcoming class action suits and to join those class suits. There are generally no fees to be a member of these class, only that your case must match the class action suits....the last Supreme Court rule on the Public Charge EO clearly state that benefits and reliefs sought ought to be limited to members of the class and not be National. So, this is very much not fully unexploited territory. |
Yoighaman:Re-read it again, they all factor into that security assessment. When doing these types of assessments; the US placed exposure to homeland risk and list various factors and assign points to them, then collect the final tally and make a decision base on the final tally, which in this case is overall security risk. e.g. Take two hypothetical countries scores Country A: 1. Identity management - 40% 2. Data & info sharing - 40% 3. Rate of immigration- 70% 4. Percentage of overstay - 19% Country B: 1. Identity management - 40% 2. Data & info sharing - 40% 3. Rate of immigration - 70% 4. Percentage of overstay - 10% Despite the fact that, the first data points are the same, the US will consider country A as a more security threat, because they are exposed to more individuals from that country compare to the other. Nigeria situation is also more complicated because the rate of migration from Nigeria is very high, such that for some years now, we have breached the statistical limits given to all countries on the diversity visa category and as such we have not been eligible for it. So, if you add the fact that Nigeria rate of immigration in Africa to the US is the highest, then Nigeria will present a higher security threat to the US, even if all other security risk barometers within those Africa Countries are the same. |
NTUk1:This is true, specialized immigrant visas will still be approved just as the DHS circular stated, while the ban is still on, so they are not going to remove the link to the immigrant page. Also I believe there will still be additional guidance from DHS as lawsuits are going to mount in the US in the coming days. The first travel ban was allowed by the US Supreme Court because administrative provisions were given to treat each application on a case by case bases... Plus the EO stated one can still apply up until Feb. 21, but failed to state what will happen to applications in the pipeline. |
NTUk1:If your interview date is after Feb 21, I will advise that you postpone it, keep postponing it until you have exhausted all your options to or a better guidance is given or reported about the outcome. Otherwise you risk getting denied or put in administrative processing. |
Iamgrey5:I don’t think even specialist Doctors will qualify. That exception is a standard US reference to e.g. in case war, those who risk their lives to be interpreters and could also be spies as the other individual stated. US has been using this specialized exception for years in the Mideast to resettle these category of people in the US. US have abundant of specialist Doctors, they need people who are willing to risk their lives on behalf of the US government....In some sense, joining the US military or marine might also qualify under this clause. |
MondayOsunbor:That should have been Biden will give Trump a run for his money! That is why among the Dem field, it is Joe that Trump is trying dig dirt against through foreign investigations....the reasoning behind Trump circles is to ruin Biden so he does not get the nomination. Biden will appeal towards a more widen electorate than Trump...Trump is trying to win, one and only one base, the right! |
Nchabuomo:Totally agreed, I only brought up the tax cuts because they are indeed his achievements that another President can’t easily undo on day one! The rest are majorly through EOs. |
Savagedawg:You guys are amazing, you brought up NYC and couldn’t sustain that and we are now talking about CA district 28? Schiff won that district by 78% the last time are you by any chance suggesting that the Republicans will win it this time around or they will win CA? As fas as Trump winning re-election, incumbent Presidents always have the advantage, only a handful of US Presidents have lost re-elections; but they say Trump will win it by a landslide is overly too over presumptuous don’t you think? Go back and look at the swing states that tip his way in 2016, he won them by a tinny percentage, some less than 1%, forget the national polls...go into those states and see if he has further expand his numbers there...also look at the midterms, when Democrats retook the House....also look at gerrymandering laws been successfully challenged and defeated and districts maps now been redrawn to accurately account for population growths, etc. From the look of things, it will be difficult for Republicans to retake the House, the district maps are not in their favor...the Senate seem to favor the Republicans, but since they will be defending more states, it is more likely Dems will pick up more seats, what no one know if they will get enough to have a majority. For the Presidency, it is Trump’s to loss and he is doing everything each day to loss it, but I will reserve my comments until I see who the Dem choose to represent them. Biden will give Trump a run for his money, as he will attract people from the center and most Dems, but Dem don’t Trust him very well. Warren & Bernie will create more enthusiasm from the left and could threaten Trump if he continues to run to the far right and excite the divide in the US, therefore driving more people to the polls...there are more registered Dems in the swing states compare to Republicans, so a fully polarized US elections with a large turnout Republicans loss big time! |
Savagedawg:That is a sincere question and I list my premises and also gave him credit for the tax cut & North America trade deal. Those are sincerely the only marks he will leave behind, the rest were through EO and will be erased the very moment he leaves office. |
Savagedawg:I know the poll you are talking about, which is just a favorability poll between Trump and the mayor of NYC. Throw that into the dustbin, it means nothing...Trump himself has ran out of NYC, he has moved his residency to FL. Bill de Blasio won by 66% votes. |
Savagedawg:What has he done in three years? This policy and many of his administration are driven by hate. He has done nothing except to put his hate on display. Had he been able work out a deal to put this into law, it would have endured for a long time. You don’t run a country by EO and that is all he is doing, the next President can wipe every single thing he has done on day one by the stroke of the pen, except the tax cut and the North America trade treaty. The truth is, Trump thought he can bully everyone into submission, good leaders governor by forming working coalitions across the aisle, but he is incapable of doing that, because he does not have the intellect to....his EO are written with pencil, they are just mere Executive Policy changes that are momentarily. |
Savagedawg:His polls in NYC? Throw those polls inside the dustbin, despite been a New Yorker, Trump lost it miserably the last time and he will still loss come November. NY is a liberal state, Trump have no chance hence he made the smart decision to move his residency to Florida, which is a swing state, which might increase his chances of winning Florida in November. |
You guys did traditional wedding, nothing statutory, count yourself among the very lucky few...and end the relationship; you guys should just make arrangements on how to take care of your in-common child. |
Her brain is truly wired and aware in many places the normal brain is not, to be able to selectively target those muscle groups in her tongue. Chances are, her brain can also selectively target other minute muscle groups in her body to do the extra ordinary. |
Youthleader22:These days, I no longer believe what I read online or in print at face value without independent verification.... but if the story is true....the denial is still a big news; it shows that, it is not business as usual, no matter how big you are in society, hopefully those who think they are big & mighty in Nigeria will wake up and start doing something. Anyone denied a US visa have the right to appeal the denial and many got issued a visa after denial, so it is not exceptional that he was later issued a visa. |
OlujobaSamuel:They are clueless and issuing visa to Nigerians in diaspora is illegal and can’t be enforced. Nigerians in diaspora who have not renounced their Nigerian citizenship are citizens of Nigeria by the operation of the constitution, they are not under Nigeria immigration. Therefore immigration can not enact policies that conditions there stay in, entry into and departure from Nigeria, the same way, they cannot do same to other Nigerians. Also since they are citizens by operation of the constitution, the Senate & House of Rep cannot enact such visa laws also. If you want to start issuing them visa, change the constitution...only one law suite and the Supreme Court will set them right. |
Just hear to read the comments and just soundly disappointment with those shouting photoshop! photoshop!! photoshop!!! Photoshop is a software package and I guarantee most posters uses photoshop and others coreldraw. I think what you guys meant to say and show have been saying is fake! fake!! fake!!! |
healthserve:I thought you even know one or two about the law, it is obvious that you are as clueless as they come! Trump said, he never know this lady, never saw her is his whole life! That the picture is a mere coincident. If you have such an opener in a rape case and your dna is later found on the lady, you have completely shut yourself out of arguing that it was consensual, that is why your lawyers always warns you to shut the Bleep up. Trump only argument will be that, his dna was planted, the onus will then swift to them to argue how it was planted beyond any reasonable doubts. |
karika2018:Yes, a witch that your God anointed and chosen one is accused of rapping....she must be a God chosen one witch then! Yeye dey smell! |
