Marriage to me is just another thing in life, ain't nothing too special about it, it has been unduely overated, having a man or a woman does not necessarily mean having happiness in your life, i have seen single women that are far happier than married women and vice-versa, its all about being happy with your self and the situation you are in. some friends have lamented that getting married was one of the biggest mistakes they have ever made in their lives while others have a very different story to tell, i don't believe in stereotype everything doesnt have to flow in a particular pattern. there is nothing wrong with being 40 and single as far as you are happy, happiness and comfort is what matters most and that should be what people should sought after not marriage because marriage like life is very very unpredicatable and quite uncertian, two very much in love love birds can turn out to be worst enemies so you never can tell. marriage does not neccesarily equate to happiness. better to be single and happy that to be married and be incarcerated |
I believe we are more propensed or inclined towards corruption than most of the people i have come across, its sad but true though. |
excel abi na powerpoint u be villager? stop going around trying to castigate what you don't understand if you don't understand others do . |
I remember when i and some friends of mine( about 5 of us) presented our Nigerian passport to the immigration officer in Instanbul the guy looked at every one of us closely and raised alarm it was so funny that i had to laugh instantly at the immigration officer's action, they came and asked us some very silly questions and left us at the end, the second time was in heathrow airport when i and a friend had to undergo a series of test before we were allowed to pass, its very funny but thats whats happening to so many of us nigerians when we present our green kwali. |
I wonder why she was droped as the minister of finance, she did quite a marvelous job in the finance ministry. she was considered for the post of UN vice president but she wasnt endorsed by OBJ and now there are speculation that she might even be considered for the position of the head of the world bank and yet the OBJ administration saw nothing good in her but to drop her after her tremendious contribution to the finance ministry, ironically people like Professor Borishade are still hanging on as ministers despite their dismal performances in their previous ministries, i wonder when things will get right here in Nigeria |
Femi Fani Kayode has tried and should be commended for his good works |
OBJ is a Criminal and deserves to rot in jail too with Atiku and their likes stupid thieves |
Aint nothing wrong with premarital sex, its good and it should be a personal choice. |
the only people that have the final say with regards to child bearing is you and your wife not your parents, remember you are they ones that are married to each other not them so do what will please and bring comfort to you in this situation not what will please them. |
Men cheat and end up being forgiven, but when women cheat its a whole different issue. It's better you forgive and see to it that it doesnt repeat it self. |
A week after the Senate cleared President Olusegun Obasanjo of any wrong-doing in the PTDF, the dust raised on the expenditure of the agency has refused to settle. Chairman of the Senate Review Committee on PTDF, Senator Ibrahim Tsauri has again asserted that the Committee found out that President Obasanjo could not account for $500M (about N65billion) of the PTDF fund he personally administered. Senator Tsauri made this revelation on Thursday 17th May, while featuring on Vision FM, Abuja daily interactive interview programme called Burgami (8-9am). Tsauri also said the Committee cleared Vice President Atiku Abubakar on the alleged deposit of $125million in ETB and TIB because his approval for the investment of the money was in accordance with the laws setting up the PTDF and that the investment yielded billions of naira in interest to the government. He also said they only established that the Vice President did not get Presidential approval for the investment of additional $20M and not that there was any case of embezzlement in the matter. According to Senator Tsauri the Committee found out that President Obasanjo operated a PTDF Reserve Account without the knowledge of the Management of the PTDF.The Committee recommended the closure of the account, a recommendatuion the Senate accepted although it fell short of affirming that President Obasanjo acted illegally in the operation of the secret account. Speaking on the controversial payment of N250Million to President Obasanjo’s personal lawyer for the registration of a company, he said the Committee established that only N20Million of the money was paid to the corporate Affairs Commission by the lawyer http://thetimesofnigeria.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2295&PHPSESSID=ce1b56c1e91dac677727753e151d0d10 |

@ wa_do_mi why couldnt you sleep? ain't nothing wrong in doing that. |
Despite all his short comings i believe the guy has tried and should be given some credit for his good works |
We just have to support this present administration that is about to be sworn in. |
the same senate report said that $20million of the PTDF money was traced to the PDP account so i wonder what kind of merry go round this is, OBJ, ATIKU, the senate and the whole PDP should just shut up their dirty traps and leave us alone we are tired of them washing their dirty linens in public. |
who cares where he shops , nice to know that the guy is prudent ![]() |
(offtopic) Hey Danmasani am from J town too, just extending some warm regards to a fellow brother from J town. have a swell time where ever you are |
If you love him then go back to him, if you run away then you will definately be running all your life unless if you want to be alone without a man. sometimes you just have to fight for waht is yours (including your husband). running away won't slove ur problem in any way, who told you that if u leave him and get another man there would'nt be a reoccurance? Men are very very unfaithful the world over and just know this the fact that a man sleeps around does'nt mean he loves his wife less am a man and am speaking from so many men's point of view. its hard but the awful truth is that men are like that and can hardly be stopped. |
True love definately exist but its very hard to find, i have seen it and i really am sure of what am saying |
Lets put all this talk about slavery and apology behind us and move forward the modern day salvery(dafur, zimbabuwe and their likes ) should be what we should be fighting against not what has been ended over 200 years ago with the full participation of our unscrupulous ancestors. |

Enforcing sharia if its for the benefit of all will be accepted but with the way they are going about it i just believe they governor wants to distract the attention of the people and use the full implementation of sharia to make up for his failures and score cheap political goals. lets wait and see how events will unfold. |
personally i believe marriage is over rated. a guy or lady can lead a perfectly happy life with out the sterotype that every body must marry at one point in life that believe is a fallacy and has lead so many astray as far as am concerned. |
Am back again. I did'nt really read the report in detail before i made my first contribution, now that i have seen the whole detailed report i believe i will definately have to change my stance. if they remain adamant and make it compulsary for all girls to wear the veil then they are very WRONG in making that declearation.Nigeria is for every body and everybody has the right to live the way he/she likes as far as his/her life style is not obsence and against the culture and practices of the people around him/her. |
