If the laws of the land says that an offence should be punishable by stoning to death then it will be done here on national TV but since the law does'nt say so then it can't be done.
Christianity Etc › Re: Men And Women Don't Pray Together In The Mosque. Why? by mazaje(m): 4:02pm On Jun 01, 2007
well, i think the obvious reason is that Nigeria is run by HUMANS and not God

Nigeria is run by humans who believe so much in god and their various religions hence by extention the country is being run under the tenets and religious beliefs of its inhabitants , weather  you accept it or not most of the people in nigeria are controlled by what they hear in their places of worship be it in the church mosque or a traditional religious shrine. but still nothing is working, people spend days praying and fasting yet nothing good is happening in their lives despite all the prayers and what not nothing is just working, despite all the high level of religion there is no love around to see,no honesty and no value for human life.

you live in country that have LAWS and laws that are followed to the letter;

Why is it that a very religious country finds it very hard to follow its own laws? does'tn religion teaches its followers to be law abiding? its a shame if some one without a belief in religion and god adheres to the laws of his land and some one with belief in religion and god fails to do so . what do you think is responsible for that? all i know is that as far as there is poverty there will always be gods are religions where people can find solace in so that people will not live in endless despiarity.

I never said islam is'nt flawed am not a moslem all am saying is that all religions are flawed and should be banished because they have very little use to the people that practice them , if religion is useful then Nigeria as the MOST religious country on earth should NEVER be where it is now, how can a country be VERY religious and still be a living HELL despite all the high  level of religious activities going on, Nigeria is one of the worst(Evil) countries i know,  there  is no justice, no value for human life,no love amongst the people and no peace and security, a country can't be that highly religious and lack all the virtures i have stated so its all a fallacy,  I live in a country where most of the people are atheist but yet it's one of the best places you can ever be because there is value for human life and there is justice, there is no crime and unnecessay wars or crime over religion or anything, the people are happier and have most of what they need despite their lack of belief in religion, they never spend time praying yet they get most of what they need and want compared to nigeria where people are highly religious and never get anything at all. take a look at Iraq, isreal, palestine, afganistan and tell me if religion is the way forward.
Christianity Etc › Re: Men And Women Don't Pray Together In The Mosque. Why? by mazaje(m): 10:16am On Jun 01, 2007
Christianity is flawed because there are so many complications attached with the religion, so many denomination(Religions) claiming they are the true denomination, an average Catholic is practising a very different religion from some one attending the deeper life bible church cos their BELIEFS are NOT the same, an average garments wearing(white, blue, black and red) christian is also practsing a very DIFFERENT religion from lets say some one that attends the living faith church. these are just a very few examples of the confusion and high level of flawness of the religion, how can you say u believe in the same religion when some sects believe in and practice something very very different from what you believe in and practice, some christians worship/honour mary while others dont, some worship by the river side or mountian top while others will say they are confused and have moved out of the tenets of the religion. the confusion and diversity is just too much some sects have no link with others while some sect worship some other gods different from which other sects worship its just madness and confusion, the same bible talks about god not being the author of confusion, how can you not be the author of confusion when ur holy book is very very very complicated and self contradictory? and all ur followers are confused and mad.

As far as there is poverty people will always believe in gods, unless if the people are been provided with an earthly paradise or some utopia. if not the need to believe in something to have solace in or the need for make belief as a quest for imperialism or some sort of contianment, religion will always have a place to stay because it will always be used for the benefit of some people over others.
Family › Re: My Mum Is Too Harsh; Help! by mazaje(m): 7:59pm On May 30, 2007
Some parents are really unbearable am serious if you love your children and respect them you won't shout on them all the time, if you have  respect for your childern you will try to build confidence in them not destroy the little confidence they have, my mum is like that too she is the best mum i know(scarificed all she has for me and what not) but the most hot tempered and most unbearable person i know it got so bad that on day i told her if she continues she will never see me again in her life, she thought i was bantering until she never saw me for two months after that she called me and we talked and i told her my mind, i don't and wont tolerate being shouted upon over nothing, i know its her temperament but how will she feel if i keep on shouting on her all the time? does she see us her kids behave like that to each other? if she respects me she won't shout on me and i swore to her that i won't tolerate it. life is all about harmony and peaceful coexistance even though she is my mum she will never see me again if she continues that way , she cried and told me that she knows for me to take such a drastic action means i have been pushed to the wall that was in 2003 till date she has never shouted on me again am serious once she starts shouting on others and i come around she immediately stops and continues when am gone. some parents are  just too unbearable life is not about providing for your kids and killing them at the same time.

Because men are polygamous in nature and will continue to cheat no matter what, i will always say it the fact that a man cheats does'nt mean he loves his wife or girl friend less its just our propensity and we can't help it, its sad but the truth must be told.

Christianity Etc › Re: Christians Are Pretenders! by mazaje(m): 12:54pm On May 28, 2007
As far as there is poverty and problems there will always be a need to hold onto a god so that people will have some solace in him, when the level of poverty is over bearing u need to believe in something so that you give it some credit when things work out well for u(God) and blame it when you run out of luck or when the things you desire dont come your way(Devil). Christians are'nt pretenders but they are adhering to the tenents of their religion, I live in a godless society but its 100 times better than Nigeria which is the most religious country i know, here despite their lack of belief, they are the most honest people i have interacted with, life has a lot of value to them and you will always get justice, what is urs is urs and no body will bear false withess against you, they never pray cos they don't believe in god yet they have all the finer things in life, they are far happier and live far longer despite their unbelief unlike nigeria where religion is the way yet the most evil and criminally infested place i know. as long as poverty exist there will always be gods.

Sometimes i wonder what type of a failure the baboon called OBJ is, when he came in he promised to rehabilitate and bring back to life the dead refinaries so that pump prices will reduce, 8 years later there is still no functioning refinary in nigeria, then came the issue of deregulation, they have deregulated everything in the oil sector but nothing to show for it, NOTHING has happened in the past 8 year after all the changes, deragulation and what not the only change that kept on occuring was the increase in pump price to the detriment of the common man, the bastard has failed us and should get his ugly face out of Aso rock in the next 24 hours stupid fool.

Christianity Etc › Re: Men And Women Don't Pray Together In The Mosque. Why? by mazaje(m): 2:37pm On May 27, 2007
Why don't men and women pray together in the mosque? The question you should be asking are
-Why do christian women dress like prostitues when going to the church?
-Why do christian pastors rob and steal from their congregation on a daily basis in Nigeria?
-Why are there child molestors every where as reverend fathers and priest?
-Why do some christians go to church without shoes(barefeeted?)
-Why do some christian fellowship on the mountians and by river side or river bank in Nigeria?
-Why do some christians wear coloured(white, blue, green and black) garments to church?
-Why are there so many miracles going on in the churches and yet so many sick christians every where u go?
-Why has the christian gospel music turned from being holy to being funky?
Why is Nigeria the most religious country i mean the most RELIGIOUS country in the world and still one of the most evil and godless place you can live in?

Keep on looking for lopholes in other people's religion, when your own religion is very much flawed.

Islam › What Will Women's Reward Be In Jannah When Men Are Blessed With Heavenly Maidens by mazaje(op): 1:22pm On May 25, 2007
I have read that in Jannah a man will be blessed with maidens (Hurs) and if his wife joins him in Jannah she will be Queen of all maidens. I am steadfast in my deen and have so much love for Allah (SWT) and our Rasool (SAW) and hope if my view is an error I will be forgiven. But how can this be fair? A man gets Hurs and a wife for his good deeds and a woman for hers gets to share her husband openly with other beings.

What about woman who do not marry or husbands are not pious what happens to them in jannah. What if a woman does not love her husband but lives a life of piety with him simply for Allah's pleasure, not her own. In jannah does she once again have to be assigned to her husband. I know that Allah is the most Just and I have tears in my eyes that I am even questioning this.

Please advise on the situation. Jannah and the condition of Jannah vastly differs from the conditions of the Dunya (this world). It is incorrect to look at the prevailing conditions of the Dunya and then form an analogy of the Aakhira (hereafter).

Suffice to say that Allah Ta’ala mentions in the Qur’an, ‘You will have there (Aakhira) all that you could wish for, and you will have there everything you demand.’ Thus, her every desire and wish will be fulfilled and she will live in eternal happiness. If men will be rewarded with a certain number of chaste partners in Jannah, then what will women be rewarded with? While a man will get many Hurs (maidens) in jannah, a women would be made the queen of Jannah. Her beauty will far outshine the beauty of the hurs.

Umme Salamah R.A narrates that she said to Rasûlullah SAW "O Rasûlullah, are the women of this world superior or the hûrs?" He replied, "The women of this world will have superiority over the hûrs just as the outer lining of a garment has superiority over the inner lining." Umme Salamah R.A then asked, "O Rasûlullah, what is the reason for this?" He answered, "Because they performed salâh, fasted, and worshipped [Allah]. Allah will put light on their faces and silk on their bodies. [The human women] will be fair in complexion and will wear green clothing and yellow jewelry. Their incense-burners will be made of pearls and their combs will be of gold.

They will say, 'We are the women who will stay forever and we will never die. We are the women who will always remain in comfort and we will never undergo difficulty. We are the women who will stay and we will never leave. Listen, we are happy women and we will never become sad. Glad tidings to those men for whom we are and who are for us.'" (Tabrânî) Muhammed ibn Ka'b Al-Qurazi narrates from a person of the Ansâr (people of Madînah) that Rasûlullah SAW said, "I take the oath of that Being who sent me with the truth, you are not more acquainted with your wives and houses than the people of Jannat. A person of Jannat will come to 72 wives which Allah specially created in Jannat (hûrs) and 2 human wives.

The human wives will have virtue over the [hûrs] because they worshipped Allah in the world. (Targheeb Vol.4 Pg.534) This will be the high position of the women of the world in Jannah. If a woman had more than one husband, she will choose which one of them to stay with, and she will choose the one with the best character. As for those women who never married or their husband were mushriks, they will be allowed to marry whichever worldly man, they so wish, in Jannah. Thus every man in Jannah will have 2 wives from the world.

If we have full conviction in Allah's promise that he will fulfil our every desire in Jannah, then instead of worrying about what they will get in jannah, the women should concentrate their endeavours on pleasing Allah and thus getting to Jannah. As for pleasing us in Jannah, That is Allah responsibility, so he will do His and we should do ours. The greatest pleasure in Jannah for men and women will be the very pleasure of Allah. Everything else will be secondary. And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best.

People are evil, no amount of anger and provocation should make a man do this to his woman or any other human being. that's really pathetic, domestic violence is really a terrible phenomenum and should not be tolerated at any level beating up ur spouse is nothing but weakness but unfortunately this act is accepted in some societies and religions.

In response to the elite. OBJ is an elder stateman, and should be able to give advice to his successor. him telling Jonathan to be faithful to his boss has no grounds for criticism. We as people live and learn from our mistakes, shame on you if you make the same mistakes twice.what is the definition of DEMOCRACY? and what are the features of DEMOCRACY? you guys exert too much energy on irrelevant issues.
Being loyal to the president at the expense of the constitution and the citizenry at large is the utmost stupidity the subordinates of a ruler can indulge in, the advice OBJ ought to be giving Goodluck is to defend the constitution with all he has and to be loyal to the people of the country not being loyal to the president cos the president is just a person and nigeria is supposed to be greater than that person. i will still reiterate that if ya'adua becomes like OBJ and seeks to turn the constitution so that he will elongate his tenure then Goodluck should be like atiku, revolt against it and drive him back to katsina the way Atiku drove OBJ to otta
Politics › Nigerian Leaders Row Over Occult by mazaje(op): 10:44pm On May 21, 2007
Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo has accused his estranged deputy of wishing him dead and consulting Islamic holy men on the date of his demise.
Mr Obasanjo said the vice president had told a former minister: "Don't worry, the president will be dead soon."

VP Atiku Abubakar denied the charges, saying Mr Obasanjo's mind was full of "the cobwebs of juju or occult".

The pair fell out when Mr Abubakar opposed the president's efforts to stay in office for a third term
Mr Abubakar ran in last month's presidential elections as an opposition candidate, despite spirited efforts by Mr Obasanjo to stop him.

According to official results Mr Abubakar lost to the governing party's Umar Yar'Adua, who succeeds Mr Obasanjo as president next week.
