Tango123: If u leave the girl because u want to, or because u are seeing bad habits and behaviour in her, that is understandable
But saying a (god of man) man of God told u really makes me wonder
How sure are u that the said god of men (man of God) is telling u the truth. Why are you mortgaging your future on what a human being like u said? Are you a man of Lucifer yourself? Why privilege the statement of a human being?
Many have been led astray by so called statements from gods of men (men of God). Many gods of men are evil, although there are a few good ones. But even those few good ones are not always right. They can make mistakes. Their past experiences and human qualities can cloud their judgments, and make them misinterprete any sign they receive, that is if they did receive any in the first place. What you highlighted in your first paragraph is exactly my own case. She is very attached to me and would want us to marry but her character is a NO NO. Women take character for granted despite the importance attached to it by men. Although we now stay far from each other after graduation, this my own girl is very successful and even capable of changing my life for good. But I become sad anytime I think about her character if I cement things with her. Many people have told me to never make the mistake of settling down with that kind of woman. |

Romance › Re: Problems With Handsome Guys by MNDY(m): 10:49pm On Aug 29, 2020 |
Obaawonuniversi: It's a gift to be an attractive and handsome guy that girls can't resist. Less attractive guy's may think the grass is always greener on the other side. Being handsome sometimes has it's downsides too. I'm sure a lot of guys can relate to these things.
Your appearance is intimidating: imagine a girl has a crush on a guy, it's hard enough for her to have to make the first move. But even worse, you're the cute guy that makes her nervous whenever you're around. She's simply intimidated by your appearance, which really sucks for you, just because you're attractive.
Women presume they are players: All just you're a good looking stud, you are guilty without even being tried. Women believe most handsome guys are nothing but heartbreakers at the first glance. They believe you're probably hiding a devil beneath the surface.
You are a threat to other guys: Automatically, other guys might be aggressive and resentful towards you, because they know you might be giving their girl some looks she might not resist.
Presumptions that you're empty inside: Many people, especially women might assume you're nothing but a pretty face that's Intellectually shallow, and they probably don't need a good looking idiot as their man. Some people even believe that the smart and nerdy people aren't always the handsome type.
Your looks aren't enough: Though, you might be blessed with great genetics. Your looks just aren't enough. Women prefer men with status and financial stability to a guy that's just handsome. Nothing beats a handsome and successful man.
Women want you as a Prop: Some women just want you for your looks. Though, they might not be deeply emotionally attached, but hey!,You're good-looking, and who wouldn't want a handsome stud as theirs. They just don't want you for who you really are.
People think you take too much pride in yourself: A lot of people probably have lingering speculations that you take too much pride in your looks. You can't dress too well, because you look to good and people think you spend a lot of time and efforts in making yourself look good.
You might be seen as more of a boy than a man: Some women prefer men with more manly and mature looks that are a few years older. To them, It brings a sense of Alpha-male dominance and responsibility compared to boys who might play around with them and waste their time.Don't be too surprised when you see a young lady marrying an older man. That treatment and envy you get from guys and friends can be very annoying. They will be wishing and striving so hard to be like you in every way as if say na competition. If you are not careful, the wicked ones may hurt you with their bitterness, they feel that people compare and see them as inferior when you are around. They will condemn some of the things they would love to copy about you and mostly choose not to even verbally admire. You will but enjoy the friendship and company of rare free-spirited persons who are not concerned with these things and can admire you very well verbally without any intention to compare themself with you or trying to be you. |

kikero: Yes, because PDP was very corrupt and inefficent.
I didn't vote for APC....Nigeria 1984 is different from Nigeria today, so no way Bubu was going to perform miracle at all....all that anti-corruption story they blew back then was story. Expecting Buhari to apply 1984 magic to 2015 issue was always going to be a big ask.
Besides, Sowore has always stood for truth. I've never voted or supported him, I think he is too close to Tinubu for comfort, but back in 2010...he backed GEJ against the Yaradua cabal.
APC is a big mess. No lying. In some ways they are even more bogoted and corrupt than PDP. But they were made possible by years of corruption of PDP. If GEJ, and even Yaradua and Obj had managed this country a bit better, maybe we won't have seen Buhari in power today.
Modified....I'm not into PDP or APC. I honestly wish we had a party that was big enough to take on these two. But the thing is, most Nigerians prefer to vote for PDP and APC. Idealists like us are left out.So, I choose not to support either. In all these, the masses (especially the youths) also play a role in letting this country never get any better. Fear and docile followership is not making anybody take action for others to follow. |

Zzor: you didn't make any sense either, most of you men do not understand the concept of consent, you don't even know when you rape a lady.Go read more on consent so as to avoid being called out later CONSENT involves the mind and not just mere words of mouth only, and women are naturally created to do shakara and pretend. What do you have to say about manipulating the so-called CONSENT for a rape claim in that regard? And women who enjoy being forcefully taken too. Some women have secretly confessed to enjoy rape by even robbers and unfamiliar strangers which could have even had solid claim. So let's not talk about consent because it would also lead us to talking about pretence. |

Before being flogged, the unidentified Ghanaian lady was first kicked and beaten with belt by the Ghanaian community leaders who caught her in the act. The community leaders were heard saying that most Ghanaians who come to the country (Saudi Arabia), disgrace the name of Ghana with their promiscuous lifestyle.
The Sudanese man was also not spared as he was also assaulted. I am not saying that women don’t do all the things you listed above. Also know that this unreasonable attitude you keep mentioning are equally exhibited by men. women don’t have monopoly to bad attitudes if you must know.
And yes! NL guys actually got huge issues with the female gender and you know it! If I start sharing my own related experiences and the ones I have witnessed, will we leave here today? Why do I keep mentioning women and unreasonableness? Unreasonableness is the reason why women hate themselves and can't support themselves. You will agree with me that women are born with drama. There are only very few exceptions. The ratio of men to women on this is very very wide. You see it around you no matter how hard you try to deny it. Blame nature for it, it's just how it is. Why will NL guys not have issues with the female gender when they go through a lot from them on a daily and the unreasonableness is worsened by refusal of our females to work on these complaints but rather defend these complaints. |

repogirl: You want to go to jail rather than be humiliated? Smh!
Besides, I don't see anything humiliating in this story. The girl behaved badly, but the guy worsened the situation... I hope fear of humiliation that's not even there, will not make some people commit murder o.
Anyone can try to shame anyone. You have the power to either accept it or not... There's nothing to be ashamed of if you're not doing anything bad or illegal nah. Who ego epp sef?
Infact it is a guy who beats a girl to pulp that should be ashamed. He is an Agbaya. Anyone can try to shame anyone. Women's own worse. A woman's character is a very big problem, especially the Feminist ones taking their challenge against men into everything. Only a very few women can know the boundaries and act accordingly. How did the guy worsen the situation? Women don't want to be beaten to a pulp by a man but women know how to provoke a man to do it and even initiate the fight first sef. If you raise your hand at anyone, it means you believe in your power (male or female) and should get ready to fight. If you don't know how to control your emotion, you must learn from 1 or 2 examples. You will find only a very few people who can take humiliation and not react. With options of various other ways to deal with a situation, a reasonable person would not even raise his/her hand at a person if he/she has seen that the person can beat him/her. But most women head nor dey think reach dat side. The same law that makes one go to jail for maiming or murder also makes provision for self-defense. Or you want women to be allowed to be attacking men without men doing anything because she is a woman and weak ni? Humiliation is a very serious matter for almost everybody that you will find out that the guy is even happy that people condemned him, sent him away and gave the chair to the lady in the end (no shame in that). His soul is at peace for not disappointing himself to allow another fellow human-being do him anyhow. |

Whereas even worse cases happen everyday. Women under the guise of equality have taken it upon themselves to shame men at every opportunity and most men are not ready to take it. Men have nothing against women. It is those unreasonable attitudes exhibited by women in line with their equality game that annoys men. |
Nairaland General › Re: My Experience At A Wedding Affected My View On Gender Equality by MNDY(m): 9:53pm On Jul 26, 2020 |
repogirl: No, women should never resort to such brazen manners...However, if one does, kindly do not retaliate.
Even in boxing and wrestling, both fighters are evenly paired... It wouldn't be fair if a stronger one is paired with a weaker one... It's inequal and unfair.
The lady was wrong for what pouring the drink on him and I trust if the guy had not retaliated, he would have received all sympathy from everyone and the girl would have been reprimanded.
That females want to be treated equally does not mean we are no longer females... Physiologically, most men have an advantage physically over most women. When you have such advantage, use it wisely.
And the quest for equality is not of equal strength to men... It's more about opportunities. We are still females, not males.
Even if an elder kid beats up a smaller kid when the smaller one was the one who started it, who who gets all the sympathy? This is not about equality... It's about using one's sense. And what of the humiliation involved? Do you know that in life, everyone respects himself/herself well enough to avoid humiliation, especially in public. It is very serious that an individual can even be ready to go to jail for protecting his/her ego. Women under the guise of equality have taken it upon themselves to shame men at every opportunity and most men will not take it. |

It’s also not too difficult to realize that the strory the Op posted up there never happened.
Some female commenters here are even afraid to express their opinions because of the fear of being attacked.. this is also a very serious problem that needs to be addressed.. sometimes, I read comments here and wonder if these guys actually have sisters. But daily experiences of female unreasonable attitudes towards men do happen. Even towards their own females too. Men don't hate women. Men are just becoming more and more annoyed at such unreasonable attitudes exhibited for Feminism purpose most times. I will emphasize what someone already said above. Women naturally don't think deeply about consequences before acting. That differentiates them from men and accounts for women's unreasonable attitudes. THIS IS A FACT AND NOT SOME THEORY. She pours the drink on him and became annoyed that the boy revenged and poured the drink on her too. She did not think of any revenge. And in anger she jerks the boy by his shirt for revenging the drink poured on him. |

Confusedgirl869: Hello everyone. This account is created for this .
This issue has been bothering me a lot and I am very confused on what to do.
We have been together for more than 2 years now and we hardly have issues, infact we are a perfect match or so I thought.
I am 26 while he is 35, we both working and I never disturb him for money, I take care of all my needs myself. He is very calm and peaceful, doesn't hit me and I really admire him a lot. I on the other hand is also good, hardworking, not materialistic and all that makes a good woman.
So after thinking of our relationship thoroughly some weeks ago, I realised that there is really nothing stopping us from getting married this year or next. I decided to hear what he has to say because he never talked about us being or getting married. I also noticed that whenever he sees or hears about bad marriages he felt lucky he is not in yet. This always makes me feel bad because I know myself. I also wasn't a fan of marriage before I met him because of so many bad men out there, but everything changed when I met my guy, he is what I want. The very first day we met, the first thought that came to my mind was 'this is my him' I don't know why I had that thought being our first time meeting.
Anyways, few weeks ago I decided to ask him what his plans are. Are we in on a long thing or not? I got the shock of my life when he made me understand that he doesn't want to be tied forever, he loves his space and the way nobody disturbs him. That he only wants a baby mama, he wants me to be the mother his kids but not in marriage. I was mad and I cried for days. He was even sounding like nothing is wrong with being a baby mama, maybe not but I just can't.
Well, I made him understand that I can't be a baby mama and it will also be hard for me to move on with another person. I've bonded so well with him and all that. And I also hate jumping from one man to another. I told him to talk to people who are in successful marriages and stop looking at the bad ones. Today when we were talking I asked him about it and he is still maintaining his stand on the mama.
I don't want to give birth to kids that have 2 homes, I grew up like that(it took me lots of self discipline not to become useless) and wouldn't want that kind of life for my kids, I want them to grow with their parents in ONE house. At the same time, I don't want to lose my good man and relationship.
I need your opinions please. Men fear marriage because they see how women don't give their husbands PEACE OF MIND. Yeah, I had to capitalize that. PEACE OF MIND AND STABILITY is what every man needs in a marriage. It is very important for any man. He is scared you may be pretending to be nice and when you both get tired of yourselves in marriage, you would start troubling him, driving him to an early grave. He is seeing how it happens with married couples around and fears it would be his fate too. |

My post isnt related to the OP
#saynotorape Thank you, wise lady. If a guy tries to initiate sex and the girl as usual do shakara and she later gives in after manipulations, the girl may now later come out to say she was raped too. I don't support rape or violence against women. But this is the wicked world we have found ourselves. I have refused to join any anti-rape or anti-violence-against-women campaign because men and women alike face problems differently in this life. Women give men another man's semen/child, women kill their husbands to run away with a lover, women financially extort men. The list goes on and on, just as women face domestic violence, rape etc. How many campaigns against these things will we do? But whenever it is the rape of a woman and violence against a woman, there will be too much attention. The world is overflowing with horrible things happening everyday to men and women alike done by one of the gender against the other. And none can be said to be more serious than the other. |
