Yeah compared with other states Lagos still pays teachers better but I feel what lagos pays is still small. Govt teachers should be paid well, most of the well paid teachers are from big private schools.

Lagos does not owe salary at all.

But their teachers salary scale is very poor, even the civil servants sef. I have heared about this recruitment sometimes back, all of them have slots but Nce and b.ed peeps can apply and pray.

51k-60k for BSc teachers and civil servants not too good they can do better.

LASU pays well sha, their scale is different.

As far as I am concerned that inventory whatever is rubbish.

Do you run those appliances for 24 hours wait first is there light for 24 hours.

There's a way they calculate it to get kw/h the problem I have is that most they calculate based on your appliances being on24/7 and that you are being supplied light for 24hrs.

@NoToPile, thanks for your great response. Really appreciate.

You are very correct on dancing in church today, I see some worldly dancing steps among youth and adult in church and I wonder.

I will just gone on and be myself, i will avoid the dancing round, usually happen on thanksgiving sundays.

I pray God Himseld cover the secret of that sister and help her in His service.

Thanks for sharing the story, I will go back to the church next sunday.

God bless you sir.
You are welcome ma

Amen to your prayers

Yeahh.

First time posting here.

Abeg oo, is not dancing in church a sin?

O yes, i dont know how to dance and do all those komole, i attended a church where we dont dance before marriage, also i schooled i mean uni in a christain school and we dont drum nor dance so am all around no dance!!! So i am doctrined that dancing in church is not the only means of showing gratitude.

That said, i admire people dancing, i can spend my money to appreciate dancers, that is how much i love but i can't just dance. All i do is move body and when you change song or beat haaa, na d same move oo. Or i just clap

The issue

Friends, family, inlaws know i cant dance! And they are cool with me, never had issue. Marriage has taken me to a dancing church and i have not had issues for 8 years until three weeks ago. I think they have noticed me not being the dancing type in our new church, while dancing round the pastor just walked to me and asked me to excuse other dancers. I felt seriously embarrassed. He said those who cant dance, when God bless you beyond word, you will dance by force. But, my not dancing is not because God hasn't been faithful, but i cant do it. I coud sing, roll on the flow, worship God in songs, as in God knows I appreciate Him alot. I practice dancing at home but i beg am stiff.

Following sunday, we had a program so i don't attend the church, sunday following i told hubby i needed rest and would worship at home, i studied the word at home and slept.

Last sunday worshiped in another branch. Hubby wasn't in church when it happened, i told and how i felt bad about it and my decision to change to another branch and he is not happy about it.

The pastor actually marked me because he reinstated it again after the dancing. I dont want such to repeat itself again. So is my decision to change to another branch fine?

I can sweet talk hubby into moving too but hope it's not pride, sin or something?

See, this dancing isue, i have prayed about it, asking God to gift me with dancing skills buy its not coming.

If you say dancing is the only way of showing gratitude, that means all those christains in my former church and school will go to hell? No, not true. I learnt holiness from them.

I want to hear from Christain minds.

Thanks.
You did nothing wrong. I would advise you to ignore what the pastor did put it at the back of your mind and go back to church.

Most dancing nowadays are showoff and shaking of body not even dancing to glorify God anyways. I know it will be difficult to sit under the ministration of such a pastor, you may be disgusted by his messages sometimes but after a few weeks you will be fine. By the way you guys were dancing round which means your body was moving so I am trying to wonder what really the matter is.

Another option is you and hubby can go see the pastor to explain things but I personally wouldn't want to do that because someone who couldn't have the maturity to understand that it could be a whole lot of things not making you dance vigorously or even call you personally to ask why you don't dance would definitely not understand you not being able to dance.

I would advice you go back to the church since you husband is not in agreement with you leaving yet you would definitely feel hurt but with time you will get over it. There are situations one should leave a church immediately but it's not up to that yet and hopefully the pastor will do another thing to another person that your hubby will observe that will lead to you guys leaving together It's just a matter of time.

Maybe this my story will make you feel better.

They posted a new pastor to my branch where I was before I got married it's like the church I grew in, it's a mother branch. There was this sister who was very active in church and the youth then, very vibrant sister. Unknown to us the person she lived with was not her real mother, her mother was late and her father used to molest her repeatedly even using a gun to threaten her and nobody knew all she could do was pray, she said she told GOD that if he could get her out of this she would always serve him one day after years she was having exams and crying vigorously and a staff asked what happened and she explained, they took her to welfare in the school(a tertiary institution) and then alausa took it up.

A warrant for the man was posted in their house and the man ran up till today they are still looking for him to arrest him so even the step mum ran with her children. This happened at one side of the expressway, our church and the foster mum(the school staff who helped her that day) was on the other side of the expressway.

Even our G.O got to here about because after counselling they had to pray for her and all that at the HQ. So this lady was living her life quietly nobody knowing what happened until our pastor came.

A woman that lived close to this sisters parent house went to tell the pastor that she would leavee the church if that sister continues to minister at the alter and then said she seduced her father scattered their house and no one is living there again etc etc. Instead of him to find out what happened he just went to her in the midst of choir practise and told her to excuse them that she was polluting the alter shocked shocked .

Who does that somehow the matter spread, people were outraged, meanwhile this lady had even explained to the pastor in charge before that one had prayed for her encouraged her etc and nobody heared pim.

The lady's foster mum called him and lambasted him on the phone, infact one youth had to go challenge him.

I felt terrible because I was the youth vice president, I almost couldn't sleep, if this man preaches I just can't flow. A lot of people too had the feeling. I was like this man is an elderly man why would he behave like that. It was a character deficiency and this character deficiency led to the church being scanty.

As a matter of fact I hated him for that incident because he exposed the lady's secret, other things had been happening but this was the crux of them all for me. He allowed everyone know her secret handled the matter like a small pikin. As days went by I had to forgive.

The lady and her mum had to leave the church and I supported it. As God would have it they posted him out and even I was happy and the church began to revive again.

Do you put your hand inside the vaginal opening (better still the hole we are talking about) to clean after menses? No

What is cleaned is the labia, the fleshy stuffs and the surroundings people don't insert their fingers into the hole to clean up so yes you may not even know the exact position.
Romance › Re: Chinese Couple Trying To Get Pregnant Discover They’ve Been Having Anal Sex by NoToPile: 8:35pm On Aug 24, 2018
Theres nothing strange about it, he just went for the wider hole he could see/feel at the moment and assumed it was the vagina but the wife should have been aware that it's the anus.

Lots of peeps (virgin ooo) don't even know where the hole is and start looking for it on the wedding night. But if you are well versed in female anatomy you shouldn't miss it, it may look hidden as if there's no space there but honestly the hole is there and this amazement comes like how on earth did this thing expand. Quite common if both hubby and wife are virgins but last last they will get it.

A female virgin that has never been penetrated by any thing, swap stick etc etc may even have some challenges finding her own hole.

After reading comments of some men and women on the first page of this thread, i have a prayer of Thanksgiving.
"Heavenly Father, I thank you for making me a hardworking woman and for also giving me a Proud Igbo man that still treats me like a baby girl even though he knows i am making money. Thank you God for the sensible Husband you gave me that knows its his duty to provide. Thank you my Good God for giving me a husband that's wise enough to place me on monthly allowance, without having to come and ask kids on nairaland about it. Amen!
Word of advice.. Women, pls marry well. Many of these men are overgrown kids who will come on nairaland to ask what sexxx position he should use in the bedroom with you. Tueh! I am amazed by the comments of some girls here, biko wait till you are married, then come back and stand by your comment.Maybe English is getting hard or they just want nairaland fame. Either ways, it's appalling! It's a man's duty to give his wife money for the upkeep of the home!Even the Bible says a man that can't provide for his family is worse than an infidel! So you will marry a woman into your house and she will be the one feeding you right? . Oshey!
Honestly na double TUEH,

What then is the role of the man if he can't PROVIDE, it's not like he's out of job or something.

She's working or not it is your responsibility as a man to provide shikena. It's the role of the man to take care of his family which includes his wife (because I am seeing people posting school fees food stuffs alone as responsibilities) as if it's only children that he's to take care of. angry

Nothing wrong if the woman works and she also drops stuffs as most families can't cope with the current economy on one income but it's not her responsibility.

A man should know it is HIS responsibility to take care of HIS FAMILY, whatever his wife makes or add to that is helping the family it is NOT HER RESPONSIBILTY not knowing this is causing a lot of problems today

Those saying women are lazy, Oya switch roles.

Oya lemme sound it again IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY AS A MAN TO PROVIDE ( this includes everything your wife needs hair money, pad money etc etc grin) for your wife and kids. grin grin grin
Deal with it, that's how it was, it is and will be.

I wonder the kind of men being raised nowadays.

Know it's your RESPONSIBILTY.

Nairalanders don't read or maybe some can't comprehend

The question was how much to give the spouse 'that can maintain a home' so we're talking about food, groceries etc etc

People are talking about pocket money like money for her monthly let's even assume it's pocket money for the wife, it's not wrong to give her some amount for her personal needs whether she's working or not.

Those that even tried to understand the question some are saying that she's working bla bla bla, so if the wife is working the husband shouldn't drop anything for house maintainace abi?

What kind of men are being bred nowadays huh huh

1.as at the time this thing happen I was not well informed about the danger of genotype error I only know its not proper for as and as to marry because of (sickle cell issues)
2.my mother in-law later owned up that she took my name to different mountain and prophets to change my decision spiritually when I said I was not marring her daughter again.
3.I went to different doctor's when my in-law said they were both AA gene. and their daughter can't be AS and the doctors affirmed it
4. I was convinced when they show me the result that reads AA
5.I accept my foolishness by believing in deception and manipulations
6.The real reason I named him Ikechukwu...when I was in IBO land (Ohaja village in Awgu LGA Enugu state) for six years the people really love me and took good care of me and I love them too I also grew up together with them in Akure. when my son was born an IBO woman took the delivery here in Lagos, that same day I named him Ikechukwu, Ayodele, korede,king/Oba. but every body choose to call him Ikechukwu.
7.Each time I take him to hospital for treatment makes me very sad, for the pains and the money going down d drains.
8.this year alone I have taken him to hospital 5 times all my savings are gone, as my wife is not working and business is dull, I am just praying to God that he will not have any crises now as I am in a panic mode because of cash crunch
9.the love I have for her have disappeared to thin air, and shame has made my in-laws keep off from me and my family.
10.I expose my story so that anyone that read it and the comment's will surely learn from it and avoid my kind of error
This is now now my decision, my house rent(mini flat) expired this August as a matter of fact I told her am not renewing the rent for their is no money for it at the moment. In about 2 month time, two of us will have to go a separate way.For at least 3 years.
God will help me in taking care of the financial aspects.
Within the 3 years, if God help me and turn me millionaires, we can come back again or if her God help her too and change her genotype to AA. I will accepts her but if nothing of such happens, then to your tent oh Israel.

Do not get married unless you're absolutely sure you want to spend the rest of your life with your spouse.

You marry Mr. A today, divorce tomorrow and carry the child/children of Mr. A to Mr. B.

You said the boy's father is standing by his son. Before nko? If you were in his shoes, what would you do? Stand by someone elses pikin?

I will never marry an “after round 1” and if I do, her child will never live under my roof - period!

If not because of the way things are bad now a 16year old should not be having sex not to talk of rape.

Family › Re: Ceasarean Section Or Induced Labour Delivery, Which Is Better? by NoToPile: 8:59am On Aug 14, 2018
Lots of factors determine if the delivery will be through Cs or normal labor.

While I was in labour ward I saw a situation where the doctors told a woman that she had to go for a cs, she had been induced and it seemed things were not picking up, the hubby was trying to show reluctance and they told him point blank, the theatre is free now your wife's case is CS, go and pay whatever you have, an emergency CS patient may come a anytime. Sharp sharp she was taken.

Another one had a twin delivery vaginal birth, another twin delivery came and Cs was done, both were third time mother's. I asked th mother that did Cs later she said the presentation of the leading twin was not favorable that's why she had to go for CS

One particular mother was shouting CS oooo CS oooo. She removed everything on her they told her point blank that they have parameters for Cs and she do not qualify everything was looking good. The same people that that convincing someone who who for CS were were same one one said she can have the baby herself One very nice doctor now calmed her down and told her that now that she removed everything has the pain reduced she said no. Then she started all over again I even think my own screams contributed to her fear because I eventually had my baby before her, the stitching for me was quite painful about 20 times higher that the labor pain even after several injections down there for pain. She eventually had her baby via normal birth.

I also saw a woman who the had already bought the theatre pack an she eventually had the baby via normal delivery. My bed neighbor after delivery too was supposed to have a CS somehow the baby came out before they could prepare her.

My bed neighbor before delivery didn't make it to the delivery room she she her baby right there

My point is different cases different situations, a normal delivery can go awry within minutes and the doctors sometimes have some minutes to take a decision. I saw how situations can just change sharp sharp. The family members by the door that mostly judge the woman are not always in there most times to see what's happening.

I had my baby at a general hospital hospital for the short time I was in in labor ward I saw orishirishi.

I can NEVER judge any body for what ever method of delivery done

In an uncompilicated or even complicated pregnancy, the choice of delivery should be discussed between the obstetrician and the woman.

For you and godfrey01 and any other confused person( confused about AB AS etc) - what you do when donating blood is blood grouping and cross matching. That one shows whether your blood group is A B AB or O.
When getting married you do genotyping- AA AS or SS or AA AC or SC
They are two very different things, done for very different reasons. There is also Rh factor positive or negative but that is beyond the scope of this post grin.
godfrey01, dear when your girlfriend is AS,you are either also AS, or AA or SS
AB is NOT the comparator here, that is for a different thing. Go and do a genotyping now. You already know your blood group, but clearly not your genotype
Bros I know about blood group and genotype

The persons blood group is B+, genotype AB.

So I know exactly what I am saying, maybe godferey was talking about blood group and he mentioned genotype I can't say but I was talking about genotype.

In actual fact there's AB genotype, I found out when I googled that time.

Cheers.

I couldn't really get anything conclusive( the relationship didn't get to grow so I didn't bother asking around any more) except that the AB genotype is not really common among us here.
