Bolt2011: This is a question many brothers give unconvincing answers to. Many go with the saying that "the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know." This means they see the pious, dedicated and pretty sisters in their local assembly as hypocrites; wolves in sheep's clothings. They see them as people with "multiple" personalities; different persons on campus, at work, home, in company of friends and in the church. Some are of the opinion that these 'innocent' sisters must have expended their worldly lusts and passions before they turned into the church to catch naïve, unsuspecting brothers.
I worship in a local church with a robust population of single and charming ladies. For reasons I'm yet to decipher, I seem not attracted to any of them to the level of dating or proposing marriage. As much as I admire and love God-fearing ladies, I find it difficult to relate with them beyond a particular intimacy level.
You may have a contrary reason or opinion. Let's hear from you, why wouldn't you marry a sister from your local church?

Please this is a true life story....

Due to de Christian doctrine of NO-SEX-BEFORE-MARRIAGE, a brother in a church married an acclaimed sister in the same church & after de white wedding, the man discovered that his wife's PRIVATE PART is as wide as RIVER NILE,deep as the RED SEA due to her affairs with men. Now, de trust is gone because he met de lady in de church & she has been putting on long skirt & blowse.PLEASE IF YOU ARE TO BE THE BROTHER,WHAT ARE U GOING TO DO?

The Police Command in the FCT have begun investigation into the alleged theft of N6.8 million from the ATM of a bank at Jabi District, Abuja, on Saturday.

DSP Altine Daniel, the command's spokesperson, who disclosed this on Tuesday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, said that a suspect had been arrested in connection with the theft.

He said that the 27-year-old suspect (name withheld), allegedly broke into the ATM belonging to one of the old generation banks and stole the money.

Daniel, however, said that the amount that was stolen was recovered "intact" from the suspect after he was arrested in the premises of the bank.

Have you ever considered how all that exists came into being?
The mountains, complexity of nature, trees, animals, man… Science has helped us unravel some of these but clearly, there is a lot more than science can explain.

EVOLUTION: Why is it that organisms evolved from simple to complex organisms and not the other way round? Is it not possible that complex species were first formed like dinosaurs and man before smaller organisms? This is called DEVOLUTION. Now, you will agree that there is a higher power, perhaps you call it NATURE or ENERGY but it is higher and more powerful than man. Man makes mistakes, it is part of the learning curve. A baby tries to walk and falls, but tries again.
Why are there no mistakes in nature? How can evolution continue to occur at such complex rate and have no mistakes?

Once in a while even in nature there is a mistake usually due to activities of man like radiation and diet. A woman gives birth to joined twins. My point is, this is rear. I doesn’t occur in a whole generation of species. Nature is too organised to have come from randomness and chaos.
You cannot point to a species in evolution that nature made a mistake. Perhaps when man evolved from monkeys to men, some men still had ape legs and human hands and vice versa. Or some men still retained their tails.

WHY CAN WE NOT SEE NATURE'S ERROR IN AN ENTIRE GENERATION OF SPECIES?

Clearly there is a higher and more organised force at work. It is too organized to be from randomness and chaos. Think honestly about it and do your research. Humans can achieve so much by using just 10% of their brains. Imagine a higher species that can use 90% of their brains what they can achieve. It is beyond comprehension.

Finally, to see God it must be in faith not on forums like this. You have to believe he exists to see him. That is faith. That is what the bible lets us know and that is why religious folks cannot show him to you, you must see him for yourself. He is a Spirit. I cannot show you the wind, but I can show you the works and power of the wind. So it is with God.

The book of Job is one of the oldest in the bible. Job 26:7 says "He stretches out the north over the empty place and hangs the earth on nothing".
How long did it take science to know that the earth hangs in space? How did Job know this?

Read John 1:1-14, John 3:16, Roman 10:9-10 from the bible and do your research.

Arguments solve nothing, however if you seek the truth, I can show you in the bible with facts. The bible is practical and not just a collection of historical articles. If it were not practicable, I will not support it.
If a man tells me that God heals, and I am sick. Of what use is that? However, if you tell me that this God can heal me when I pray in faith and then I pray and am healed. What more proof do I need?

Most beleivers fall because they did not do their research from the beginning. They probably followed the path of their parents sheepishly. The bible is factual and scientific and can be prooved only if one is ready to see it. If a man refuses to see the truth, you cannot show it to him.

ifeness: I think you are confusing energy with God. both are not the same mate. God of the bible had vicious agenda,you cannot call that bastard a loving energy. Science is yet to know what happened before the big bang,but it is crazy to accept that since we(the human race) are yet to know,we will give it to an imaginary God for the time being.
