Suck belle things... Why did he flash it for only half a second? |
I agree with atiku on this; we're still in 2019 and the talks of 2023 are already so deafening. Elected leaders get in office and instead of taking ambitious hard decisions which can bettter the country, they all keep considering political expedience (a.k.a securing 2nd term) and getting distracted. Not to even talk of the money spent in elections every 4 years. The way in which they threw the bill out without even blinking was sick. Imagine one lawmaker arguing that "passing the bill would fuel unnecessary speculations that GMB wants to extend his tenure"? Solution for that would have been extremely simple, the new law shouldn't apply to elected leaders already in their second tenure. |
Rich4god:Mention their names biko... |
Cherez:I wouldnt say you lack basic comprehension skills, or wisdom or understanding, that would be a lie. But you simply put these qualities aside because you were just desperate to make an argument out of nothing. 'Re-inventing' occurs when you try to create what already exists, instead of just reproducing it. The origin of this argument was you asking why Nigeria should import improve grass seed when we should be developing the seed ourselves in our labs. I opined that it was unnecessary and uneconomical to go in the lab to recreate what already exists from scratch, except of course we want to develop a more improved version of it. But then, if we want to improve on the existing seed, we can simply obtain the existing one and improve it further. You were simply just desperate to criticise the idea because it was from govt, but i told you there wasnt really anything worth criticising there. |
Guyman02:The reason it will make frontpage once, and may not even stretch beyond 2 pages, is because no one, absolutely no one turns it into world war 3; no one automatically feels a need to start defending her based on her tribe, no one starts several new threads lamenting how she's being hounded just because of her tribe, no one turns it into a tribal melee and starts attacking other tribes (and even countries), no one ascribes it to political enemies, no one turns it to an Apc vs PDP fight etc etc etc... In summary, as long as no one claims and begins to viciously defend her based on tribe, the story will never degenerate into a tribal war fest, and as such, would die a natural death even by lunchtime. . |
livebyday:No snake can venom can kill even a rabbit in 4 mins, let alone a human. |
Coldfeets:Who told you there are no mambas in Nigeria?.... Those devils are all over the place, the black mambas specifically. I call them devils because unlike other snakes that only attack when threatened and cornered, black mambas will actually come for you unprovoked, and if you dare provoke them, they chase after you for long distances. They can be extremely fast. Those things are nothing but demons. |
babyfaceafrica: foolbuster:Wait until you are bitten by a snake or scorpion and are in severe pain, falling in and out of consciousness. Even if someone jokingly recommends you drink pee as a solution, you will do whatever you're told without asking; thishas nothing to do with intelligence or enlightenment. Trust me, you dont want to find yourself in that disoriented sitiluation. God forbid! |
1nigeriamyfoot:Lol.. Na only one word insults you sabi do?... zero brain cells. |
Cherez:Produxing cars with super radiators to adapt to our temperate climate is called 'improvement'. Go back to all my previous posts and this time, try to read them slowly. I made it very clear numerous times that it makes no sense to start creating what already exists, except you have a plan to improve on it. |
1nigeriamyfoot:zon B kill you and you family there... I simply said a truth, and because you cannot disprove or puncture the truth I said without risking sounding like a fool, you resorted to name calling. Like I said before, disprove what I said, tell me it is wrong and what is false about it. If you cant, then you know its obvious that you are are even less than a zon b. But guess what lad, you obviously lack the intelligence to counter what I said. So you will definitely return with another empty statement (a.k.a insults). |
charliboy654: Reference:It is a federal government INITIATIVE, but state governments implement it. State governments are to do a census and provide an estimate of the total cost of feeding school kids in their state, the FG vets the figures and then provides 60% of the total cost, while the state brings 40%. This explains why there are still some state not participating in it, cos they dont want to bring their counterpart fund. Implementation of the actual programme is by state governments. So when there are silly hitches like we read of, the searchlight should really be on the operators (state government), not Abuja, except of course the Abuja fails to release the required funds. Whether we run a TRUE FEDERALISM or not, the fact remains that we still operate a federal system where state governments handle a good chunk of the resources and hold substantial responsibilities. Stop excusing state governments for their irresponsibility. |
A lot of Nigerians lack the ability to differentiate the roles and responsibilities of the FG, state governments and local governments. As usual in Nigeria, when a primary school child in a rural village isn't fed, Abuja is to be blamed. |
Cherez:Lol.. This man! the pride you talk about is the only reason you have been unable to understand a simple common sense economic concept - "it is pointless to re-invent the wheel, except you want to improve an existing design." Your argument is sounding like a village scientist who wants to 'show off' to his village people, so instead of simply fetching water from the tap, he goes into the lab to synthesize H2 and O2 to get drinking water; Oga there is no sense whatsoever in that. Like I said a countless number of times, there is nothing wrong with Nigerian scientists developing new varieties, so I'm confused at why you're sending me the above link? How exactly does it deviate or contradict what I've been saying? The new Nigerian environment-compatible cowpea variety produced by the AATF, did it exist before now? There is nothing wrong with local scientists developing new plant varieties, but there is no sense re-inventing what already exists if you can simply reproduce it. It only makes sense if you want to produce a new variety which doesn't yet exist, or if you want to modify an existing one so it can grow in your backyard, or if you want to improve an already existing one. Heck! how is English too difficult to understand these days? Oga scientist, how exactly is the above common sense so difficult for you to understand? |
Finally Nigeria may get an airport building that looks like a standard airport building seen all over the world. Kudos to the Akwa Ibom state govt for having 'sense' |
Olalan:I dont think you understand the twin concepts of hypnotism and brainwashing. |
This fellow said much worse about the PDP few years ago.. |
Laslaslala:So the yorubas should basically start fighting for Oduduwa republic because Fulanis are trying to corner everything in apc? Or probably, Osinbajo should draw a cutlass and start fighting Buhari? Is that the wise advice you have for them? |
How is this supposed to be news? Is there any political office holder or appointee who doesnt want to remain in office? |
What should Tinybu and Osinbajo have done? Dump Apc and support Atiku/Obi? Sometimes I wonder what goes on in this FFks crackhead. |
cinoedhunter:You want him to resign because he faces some obstacles from faceless enemies? I dont think I see what's honourable in that. Okay he resigns and then what happens? Another person is instantly put in his place, probably a miscreant? Let him stay there! A man of wisdom knows when to speak and when to be silent. |
Gandollaar:Okay keep waiting for him to talk. |
cinoedhunter: Gandollaar:The ones he said and did before made his enemies gang up and cage him, now you want him to talk again? Say the truth and shame the devil, do you want to truly hear him say something, or do you just wish to see him being harassed by his enemies so you can have a filled day (rejoicing over the 'pulling down of your enemy')? Let's stop acting like we don't know what his stance would be if he's given authority. |
What kind of title is this? |
cinoedhunter: Gandollaar:Is it mandatory he must say something?... Why are you guys waiting for a 'mere commissioner' to say something as if to say his words will mean anything to you or anyone? |
Nothing's really indicting in that video |
mrvitalis:Not supporting the actions of the Dss or anything, but isnt that statement quite easy to understand? They said they didnt arrest him "inside" the court, they didn't say they didnt arrest him. But then again, it's difficult to take any word from the mouth of Mr Afunanya seriously. |
Peter Obi for me... |
Lol.. this woman though... ![]() |
1nigeriamyfoot:Lol... Bro, I cannot die but live and testify to God's goodness, I cannot die until I fulfil the number of my years here on earth and see my children and children's children grow and blossom into great men and women. ![]() |
naijadefender:But they couldnt get him, or did they? From the voices in the video, it's obvious they tried but couldnt get him because he had security details/police which prevented the assault. |
SarkinYarki:Falana has been shouting Buharis name, and blaming him for all that's been going for months now. It's not his fault that you chose to close your eyes and stuff your ears with cotton wool to not notice his words. |
