I sometimes feel sorry for this babe... "I must trend by force," but unfortunately the only trending idea she always seems to be able to come up with whenever the world forgets her is one partially nude bedroom picture. Doing the same thing over and over, getting boring. |
This is an interesting one if true. I heard he's being blackmailed with numerous evidence of his sleaze. |
KratosCorp:Truth does not hide, I'm not here to argue on a glaring truth with you, nobody here is a child. The person / group of persons spewing hate is clearly visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. Even individuals with various degrees of mental impairment can still differentiate who's spewing hate unnecessarily here. I hate someone dearly does not mean I must have to go all over social media and drop 2000 hate filled comment against the person (that would even amount to giving myself high BP); I hate someone does not mean I must have to bombard the page of my own brother who supports the person with 10,000 hate filled insults, curses and threats. Andy has a right to support whoever he wants for whatever (most probably stomach) reasons. |
2015 might just be about to repeat itself again. Politics of hate hate and hate without any public moderation or decorum is being played by the Igbo nation again. The question again is, what if Buhari wins in 2019?... And then we get another cycle of the same (or in fact, much worse) wailing and high blood pressure from the SE. You do not like a candidate does not mean you must go all out to the streets to openly express rabid hatred for such a person, especially in such a political season where Buhari still has a high chance of winning. |
Amarabae:What many dont understand is that the recent emergence of an agbero like Oshiomole as apc chairman has actually made some folks in the PDP fold very uncomfortable. In a space of less than 2 weeks, this is the second time pastor Omokri is unleashing an unprovoked/unsolicited attack on Oshiomole. There must be something he isn't comfortable about. |
aribisala0:I put up a challenge for you and your friend earlier to point out one example of where Prof Sagay made utterances that are unconstitutional. It is unfortunate if you cant read. The only responses you've been able to come up with are about how Sagay didnt comment on one issue or the other or how he's being selective with his utterance. And then I summed up your statements by asking whether 'being silent' is unconstitutional and you call me stupid? Like I said before, I would definitely be proving to be stupid if I continue with an argument with an overgrown slowpoke. |
aribisala0: aribisala0:Did you just suggest I'm stupid? I put up a challenge for you and your friend earlier to point out one example of where Prof Sagay made utterances that are unconstitutional. The only responses you've been able to come up with are above; you've not pointed out a single unconstitutional utterance he made, rather you've been blabbing about how Sagay didnt comment on one issue or the other or how he's being selective with his utterance. And then I summed up your statements by asking whether 'being silent' is unconstitutional and you call me stupid? I swear, I don't even know what to say to you. But you already exposed your upbringing and your current mental state. I would definitely be proving to be stupid if I continue with an argument with an overgrown slowpoke. |
aribisala0:So not commenting on an issue is unconstitutional?... I keep learning new things everyday on this forum... Funny dude! ![]() |
aribisala0:Lol... Chief, it's really important that you understand the context of a message before you jump in to respond to it else you might risk confusing yourself and then going ahead to label people liars out of your own confusion. Let me take you back, this was the exact comment I first responding to: https://www.nairaland.com/4654834/joining-pdp-doesnt-affect-sarakis#69943237 The gentleman who I quoted asserted that "Sagay finally remembered the constitution today" (he originally had only the first paragraph) ...and then I asked him to provide any example of such a time when Sagay 'forgot' the constitution: https://www.nairaland.com/4654834/joining-pdp-doesnt-affect-sarakis/1#69944165 He then responded: https://www.nairaland.com/4654834/joining-pdp-doesnt-affect-sarakis#69943237 Ahaa! I now see where you missed the point.. It wasn't your fault. The guy I was conversing with (for the sake of 'likes') went back and placed his response on the first page by modifying his original post with those web links. That's why the message track got distorted and you missed the point. Anyway, it was my response to those web links that you first responded to. And that explains why you didn't realize we were specifically talking of Prof Sagay. https://www.nairaland.com/4654834/joining-pdp-doesnt-affect-sarakis/1#69945125 |
Seenyo:I never missed your point then. My response stands, you do not know who Sagay is. |
Seenyo:Oga Sir, those are your exact words below, and the words are too direct for you to now claim there's any implied meaning in-between the lines. Or maybe I might be wrong, maybe you were being sarcastic somewhere. So why don't you tell me? Seenyo: |
Seenyo:Oga, quit running around in needless circles trying to be too smart. The fact is that you CANNOT point out any examples of Prof Sagay blabbing things which are unconstitutional all because of politics. When it comes to things on the constitution, the man has a reputation (dating back several decades) of always spitting out the non-sugar coated truth 'whenever he is interviewed' irrespective of whose ox is gored. The report in the Op is a typical example of Sagay being Sagay. That's all I wanted to point out to you. Just imagine your your assertion? That Sagay is speaking the truth for the first time today? Probably because his words today aligns with your narrative?... Are you sure you kniw who Sagay is?... Your sentiment driven wrong impression about him doesn't change who he is or his reputation. |
Seenyo:Lol.. I see! There are soooooo many examples, sooooo many that every single one of them skipped your mind. |
aribisala0:Countless examples of constitutional breaches right?... Maybe you did not get the simple message; go back and read my comment which you quoted. I asked those guys to point out where Professor Itse Sagay came out and declared something which was unconstitutional or openly endorsed something which was unconstitutional. I wasn't talking of MAlami or anyone else, I asked that they point out where Professor Sagay openly declared something which was clearly unconstitutional. Sagay has always been a man who speaks out facts exactly as it is irrespective of how it contradicts his political interest or affiliations. What is reported on this thread is a typical example, the entire APC apparatus is shouting that Saraki must resign as SP, but Sagay being who he is and has always been has come out openly to rubbish the opinion of his own party; that is who Prof Sagay is. So the challenge is still open, kindly point out where Sagay postulated something unconstitutional all because of politics. The dude above gave 4 meaningless examples, he obviously doesn't know the meaning of the word 'constitutional' which he keeps playing with. |
Nbote:Your own ability for logical reasoning has been totally clouded and obfuscated by political sentiments. First of all, do you know the meaning of the word 'constitutional'? How exactly does a man expressing his personal political views amount to 'being unconstitutional'? Maina: Buhari’s critics ‘extremely unreasonable’- Sagay Nigerians criticized Buhari harshly when a dubious Maina was re-instated. But Sagay faulted the criticisms saying the critics were being unreasonable and only desperate to find fault in Mr. Buhari’s anti-corruption commitment. Exact words of Sagay below: “Maina escaped out of this country under Jonathan. When he was sneaked back into the country, did Buhari know about it? The first time he knew he ordered that the man be dismissed and arrested. What more do you want him to say? I think people are extremely unreasonable.” Dear Nbote, Kindly point out what is unconstitutional about the words of Prof Sagay in the above scenario?... I ask again, are you sure you know the meaning of the word 'unconstitutional' or do you just assume anything which doesn't sit well with your political narrative is automatically 'unconstitutional? Without Buhari, Nigeria may have ceased to exist - Sagay In this scenario, Sagay said Nigeria was lucky to have elected Buhari as president in 2015 else things would have been terrible. Exact words of Prof Sagay below: “If Buhari had not come, I don’t think there would have been a country,” “Zimbabwe would have been better.” Once again dear Nbote, what is unconstitutional about these words of Prof Sagay? Corruption: Reasons Why Buhari cannot touch Obasanjo or Jonathan – Sagay On this scenario, Prof Sagay said the Nigerian system is still to weak and as things currently stand, it would be virtually impossible to prosecute a past president without it leading to chaos. Exact words of Prof Sagay below: “Speaking from a peripheral level, unlike in South Africa, Brazil, and other countries, we don’t have a history or culture in this country of prosecuting our former presidents. It will take a long time, when we’ve developed and become more mature, to do that kind of thing. Right now, if you touch a former president, the storm that it will bring will be so diversionary and disturbing that it will affect your capacity to do positive things for the citizens. In my own thinking, you have to leave them alone and go for those who carried out the act of looting,”. On media trials, he said this: “I don’t agree with him. Noise should be made because you cannot reduce us to this level of poverty and wretchedness and think the government will continue to hide your name from the public. Even if a person has yet to be convicted, let them be subjected to the odium of public contempt so that when you see his child driving a Rolls Royce, you should be able to point at him and say, ‘That’s a car bought with our stolen treasury that you are driving.’ I support media trial; let the looters be tried in the press. If they feel there is anything wrong with it, let them sue the government; they have the right to sue if they didn’t steal.” So Dear Nbote, once again I ask, how exactly does a man airing his opinion amount to breaking constitution or being unconstitutional?... President Muhammadu Buhari is their main target – Sagay accuse political defectors In this case, Sagay simply criticizes the recent defectors saying their ultimate plan is to bring Buhari down. He goes further by saying the defectors are like Malaria parasites that have bedeviled the APC for so long. Oga Nbote, once again, how exactly is this case of Sagay airing his personal opinion unconstitutional?.. I ask for the last time, is it that you do not have a clue what the word 'unconstitutional' means?... What exactly is your level of education?... Or is our educational system really this bad in Nigeria that we no longer know the difference between white and black? Nbote:Is it those examples you put up there that you call facts?... And you think some people are morons for calling out your daftness? Like seriously, Nigeria needs a state of emergency to be declared in its educational system. cc: aribisala0: |
Nbote:And how exactly are all these examples you gave against the constitution?.... All the examples you gave are simply articles where he expressed political support for buhari. So if for instance, I say "buhari is a good man", how exactly is my personal opinion contrary to the constitution?... Abi English dey hard you bros? |
Shegzy8:Seriously?..... I reallly thought you were joking when you said it earlier that Nigeria shouldnt be building refineries because it should be diversifying. Bros, your case strong oo... You've even shifted it to pdp vs apc realm? ![]() |
Shegzy8:Seriously?... Please tell me you're joking?.... Nigeria consumes an average of 40 million litres of petrol daily and about 1.2 billion litres monthly and all of this is IMPORTED. But you think it is a bad idea for Nigeria to refine it's petroleum within its shores because we want to diversify?..... The most ridiculous thing about this comment is that in few minutes, there are already over 5 'likers' |
ijustdey:Like I've always said, whoever will be Nigeria's president from 2019 will be the luckiest president ever cos when the Dangote refinery comes on stream fully and Nigeria stops petroleum product imports (petroleum imports swallow over 60% of Nigeria's forex), the turn around effect on Nigeria's economy would be soooooo massive and the president and his supporters at the time would soak in all the glory. |
Nbote:Can you point out one single example of a time wben Sagay forgot the constitution?... Just 1 example please.. Seenyo:Oga you too... Kindly point out one single example of where Prof Sagay said one thing contrary to the law. Just 1. |
judecares1:This one obviously cannot read and cannot comprehend jack. But he thinks a professor of law, someome probably old enough to be his granddad is foolish. #NigerianYouth |
Dino the dinosaur! ![]() |
Metuh:Pained? For what exactly if i may ask?... The last time I checked, you were the one on an anger rampage expressing hatred and pouring out your frustration on distinguished Nigerians like Durotoye, Sowore, Ezekwesili, etc all because they didnt join you to support GEJ's misadventure in 2015. But now I am suddenly the pained person?.. What sort of childish come-back is that? ..lol |
NaijaCelebrity:15% out of every 100,000 cases? My understanding of statistics might not be too good but are we saying out of every 1000 suicide cases in the world, 150 are Nigerians? Something must be amiss. |
Metuh:Angry jonathanian spotted! Anyone who did not warm up to or support Jonathan's 2015 misadventure is a sworn enemy for life. By their words ye shall know them. |
yesloaded:As at 24 when I left my father's house, my parents wouldn't have stopped me from bringing a girlfriend to the house; but out of respect for my parents, I didn't do it cos 2 captains cannot be in one ship. And just FYI, desiring to be able to receive a female visitor doesn't automatically mean "wanting to bring all sorts of girls home." We shouldn't be quick to conclude and judge people. Again at 24 , my friends were mainly bank workers who closed quite late and the only times we could hangout or sit for a drink was from 7pm. First of all, sitting out with my friends till 9 or 10 or even 12pm doesn't make me an irresponsible person, and neither does hanging out with friends in a club overnight once in a while also automatically make me an irresponsible person. At the time, I may have loved to hangout very often, but I knew my parents were naturally not comfortable with it (parents will always be parents), so for that reason, I always limited the number of my sit outs to say, once per week. I also always had to disappoint my friends by being the first to bail out to get home by 9 or before 10; and this was out of respect for my parents. At that time in my life, it was only natural for me to desire to be on my own so as to have a bit more freedom and also to stop stressing my dear parents. Now reading through the Op's story, I don't see how I'm different from him and I obviously don't see how wanting to be able to be out till 10pm once in a while or receiving a female guest makes me an irresponsible person. |
yesloaded: justtoodark:Truth be told, when a man says he wants freedom from the overbearing eyes of his parents, the reason the Op gave is usually the driving factor over 90% of the time. How can a man who is 26 years old, done with education and NYSC, has already stepped into the age when he should be thinking of marriage, but yet cannot receive female visitors or at least hangout with his friends in peace without being bombarded with calls from 'mummy' asking him to come home?... Freedom, peace and privacy are basic needs of man and when a man attains a certain age, he should be permitted to desire these things without being judged hypocritically. It doesn't necessarily make a man irresponsible if he seeks these things at his current age, for crying out loud, he's never lived alone in his life and you expect such an immature person to jump straight from this current phase into marriage? Disaster awaits! For those concluding he wants to go and carry girls upandan (@justtoodark), the fact is that a man needs some level of freedom and privacy to be able to peacefully meet, date, get to know, engage and marry a woman; all this cannot happen seamlessly when he's under his father's roof and inside his mother's pot. At 26 and already working, it is an anomaly for him to still live under his father's roof, and it is even a bigger anomaly for anyone to think there's anything wrong in him desiring some space to 'be a man.' |
yesloaded:I'm a man, and I know what it means to have some freedom, space and privacy. There's a difference between a man who's already over 25 and working and a teenager. |
yesloaded:Someone who's 26, but you're still giving him the advice of a teenager?... He should stay in his fathers house as a 26 year old man?... Even his father would be irritated by his presence. And yes, living out of the home and receiving 1, 2 or 100 female visitors, that's a basic requirement/phase in a man's life before he gets married, it doesnt necessarily make him irresponsible. He s8mply desirrs to be a man before crossing to the next stage in his life which is marriage. |
pocohantas:I disagree with the bolded; what exactly is wrong about his reasons?... and what could possibly pass as a 'right reason'? Truth is that the reasons he gave (i.e. freedom and privacy) is the reason 95% of guys (who still live in the same city with their parents) moved out of their family houses. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a 26 year old Irrespective of his current income, this is the time in his life when he needs to start learning to live alone and also a time he needs to start sampling and learning how to receive or be with women; he's already walked into the marriage realm and he shouldnt really wait till he got 300k before he starts learning to be with women. |
ignant:Huh? Seriously? ![]() Figures are provided by OPEC, is it now the duty of OPEC to tell you what to do with the figures they publish? The figures used by whoever it is that created those fancy infographic charts (to drive home whatever point they wish to highlight) was gotten from an official OPEC source and that is all that matters. Official OPEC weblinks to where you can source those figures have been provided to you; the only meaningful argument here should be whether the figures are right or wrong, and it is left to you to go to the links provided to prove or disprove. But here you are, wondering why you can't find the analytic charts pertaining to Nigeria in the OPEC website too?... Did the OP or the creator of those graphs tell you at any point that it was OPEC that created the graphs? WHat exactly is "false representation" about using figures obtained from a publicly accessible source to develop simplified charts? ![]() Like seriously Oga, have you ever been involved in any research work before (in school or work, anywhere)?... You are given data but you are here wondering why you aren't also spoon-fed with an analysis of the data?... And then someone somewhere analyses the data and produces political infographs but here you are, claiming it is FALSE or UNFAIR or ILLOGICAL because you couldn't find the infographs (created by a Nigerian like yourself) in the OPEC website?... Keep searching for Babangida and co's pictures in the OPEC site; you will find it one day. |
clefstone: clefstone: boostdom: ignant:Since this is fake news, you guys can kindly provide the real figures. OPEC would typically provide only figures per year or monthly, but then it takes an interested Nigerian to breakdown the figures into different political regimes.. Like seriously, shouldn't that be obvious to you guys?. @ignant Do you expect to be given food and also helped to chew and swallow the food?... The OPEC website gives you figures per year, and you're asking why the charts aren't in the OPEC website too? |
