What's his crime? |
omenka:Omenka are you basically saying here that ENDSARS protesters were trying to disrupt a democratically elected government and were responsible for the burning and looting that took place? Your stance on this matter is strange... |
I really get disgusted at this type of stupid reasoning... In essence, people cant complain about bad leadership without being sponsored by someone? Just the same way some crackheads claim the millions of Nigerians who protested pump price hike in 2012 were sponsored by APC, now these imbeciles are claiming people who protested against police brutality are sponsored by PDP? When will this broad daylight foolishness end? Even if the fellows mentioned are Atiku buddies, so what? Arent they Nigerians? |
360degreess:Why must you force your religious practices on those who aren't of your religion? |
Fibonacci88:What does the mumu that's cursing her know aboout world politics? |
What kind of bizarre thread is this? Nigerians insulting themselves of American election? Oh I forgot thousands of Nigerians who wouldnt even join the endsars protest actually printed tshirts and organised street rallies for Trump in Onitsha. Would be surprised if some begin to organise thanksgiving services while some others organise anti Biden protests. |
This is what you get when a nation is ruled by old clueless idiots. Africa who do una this thing? |
OfficialAwol: Fahdiga:Dont get it twisted, this isnt the reason Tinubu is hated. You guys probably hate him for other reasons but have just hung on to this reason since it sounds most 'appropriate' publicly. Tinubu is just one man and he's a politician just like every other Nigerian politician who's fighting for his personal interests. Whatever romance tinubu has with the north is purely politics and every politician from the east, south, north and west is guilty of the same thing. So why exactly is Tinubu singled out and hated? Is he the one responsible for the disunity in the south? Do you guys equally hate the southern and eastern politicians who were romancing Atiku (another fulani powerhouse) just so recently? |
SpecialAdviser:Even the PDP government that ruled for 16 years didnt do a thing about restructuring besides lip service / empty talks. Truth is that nobody in Aso Rock enjoying the absolute powers Nigerian presidents enjoy will want to ever water down his powers. |
emirex50:Like I've always said, there are 2 categories of soldiers in Nigeria; 1. The potbellied slobby looking ones who probably joined the military just out of hunger/employment, and 2. The agile ones who even in old age, still have that fierceness and ginger. Judging from just the looks, one can almost easily tell the category Buratai belongs. I wouldnt want to take that risk with a Buratai. |
Sarmiz24:Go try Buratai na... You think every soldier is the same thing? |
seanwilliam:There're 2 types of military men in Nigeria. The lousy pot bellied ones, and the agile fit ones. Take a very good look at Buratai and tell the the category you think he belongs. |
This one na foolish death wish! Another gibberish just to stay relevant on social media. With one hand and leg chained, Buratai would effortlessly beat Reno to death! |
descarado:Not sure what your concern is, but I didnt say or infer the bolded (just in case that's what's bothering you). |
descarado:Tired of what exactly?... The truth? Someone mentioned that NOI was being accused of being clueless, but that's a senseless and pointless accusation.... I'll repeat for emphasis, NOI and the other appointees were not the cluesless ones, Jonathan was. NOI is a world class economic bulldog; that explains why she was able to achieve all she achieved for Nigeria under OBJ (despite lower oil prices and other extenuating circumstances). But unfortunately, when the same NOI served under GEJ, despite much higher oil prices and national income, the debts Nigeria cleared under OBJ jumped to over $60bn with virtually no savings, no visible infrastructural projects, etc... When oil still even sold for $65, things got tight and NOI had to borrow to pay salaries in early 2015. To any discerning person, NOI was obviously not the problem. |
bolaayenimo:Point of correction, Jonathan's people were not the clueless ones, Jonathan himself was, and his cluelessness rubbed off on the performance of his appointees. NOI is a world class economic bulldog; that explains why she was able to achieve all she achieved for Nigeria under OBJ (despite lower oil prices and other extenuating circumstances). But unfortunately, when the same NOI served under GEJ, despite much higher oil prices and national income, the debts Nigeria cleared under OBJ jumped to over $60bn with virtually no savings, borrowing to pay salaries as at 2015 etc.... For emphasis, NOI and the other appointees were not the cluesless ones. |
TecM0: youngpresidooo:Reduced fuel price? OBJ increased fuel price from N65 to N75 a week before handing over to Yaradua. Yaradua assumed office and reversed the price back to N65 a week later. Is that really what we want to call an achievement to earn him title of best president? Amnesty FG bribed militant leaders and their boys with billions to ensure oil kept flowing. While that's acknowledged as a good move to stabilise the economy, is that really what makes him the best president? You know how many people and groups OBJ had to equally bribe (behind the scenes) to keep things stable? Stable economy with no borrowing? Of course things were stable because he did absolutely nothing for 3 years and oil prices were reasonably high throughout his time. Yaradua enjoyed even higher oil prices than GEJ (oil hit the highest ever price of $147 in July 2008). All Yaradua did was just maintain the status-quo he inherited from OBJ; he started zero projects and didnt initiate or complete any major reforms, he kept planning and planning and planning that he was even termed 'Baba Go-Slow'. Regarding borrowing, I have no details of the specifics, but you're mistaken if you think we didnt borrow under Yaradua. OBJ cleared most of Nigeria's debt but in 2010 when GEJ came on board, Nigeria had already accumulated total debt clocking over $30billion with zero notable projects to show for it. |
TecM0:What exactly did YAradua achieve as president to earn him this honour? I dont remember Yaradua ever doing anything at all till he passed away, what exactly is the yardstick for measuring YAradua's performance? |
baby124:Report items were restocked recently, you asked why they left them there since May. Did the instagram post say the items in the Calabar warehouse were bdelivwred in May? |
baby124:Black man an reading problem! |
Islie:I've learnt one new wisdom today, courtesy of an idiot called Zainab Abdulahi - "Good Muslims are meant to support police brutality, police corruption, extra judicial murders, police armed robbery etc." Any Muslim who speaks against the 'virtues' of the police must be a fake Muslim or Jew.... Idiots and fools on the loose! |
NeverBrokeAgainG:Just seeing this message now and I'm actually amazed at your logic... What exactly did Igbos who actually voted PDP en masse in 2015 see ahead of anyone? The fact that you still see the problem in Nigeria from the angle of PDP vs APC politics already negates the wisdom you appear to be talking about. Are you in essence saying police brutality or soldiers shooting at peaceful protesters is a phenomenon which started happening under APC in 2015? From your logic, the SW in 2015 should have joined the SE in voting PDP/GEJ en masse, and that is what you see as a solution to the numerous problems facing Nigeria, vis a vis police brutality, police corruption, extrajudicial murders, excessive use of force against dissenting voices, irresponsible leadership etc.? |
ProfAmaben:Burning innocent people's properties, even burning govt offices or BRT buses is just stupidity. It doesnt affect the govt, rather it even gives people in govt genuine opportunities to loot more in the guise of rebuilding. The only people at the receiving end of the massacre are still the ordinary citizens. frowland:Unfortunately, we have too many people, including educated fellows, who dont know yhis. |
Dedo95:Common sense and wisdom is the reason Falz and Davido went indoors after hoodlums hijacked the protest and police started shooting. Not everyone can have this wisdom though... |
Okoroawusa:That curse you talk of will only be on the heads of idiots like you... |
EmekaMD:A lot of people were gingered to continue the protests, but PMB's speech just weakened every gingered person I know. |
One reading through the hateful comments on this thread against Dangote would think Dangote at any point asked other businessmen and industrialists in Nigeria not to build tomato paste plants. |

Most of the videos I saw today claiming to be France had cars with UK number plates. |
omenka:I had pity on Sanwo Olu on the basis that all these was beyond his control. I had pity on him seeing as many people somehow placed the blame of last night on him. But he with his own mouth, cancelled my empathy the moment he went on air and said NO FATALITIES WERE RECORDED. By making that singular unfortunate statement, he's simply taken sides, and he unfortunately picked the wrong side for history's sake. |
AIlahuAkbar:You're referring to your useless family and generation there. I said the mindset you exhibited is shared by majority of northerners. Obviously an idiotic illiterate like yourself wouldn't be expected to comprehend that English... Who cares if you're from the SW or SE or north or from a pit lattine |
AIlahuAkbar: Ibrahimmrfish:The only unfortunate thing about the mindset exhibited by these imbeciles I quoted is that the majority of northerners, Hausa-Fulani northerners, share this same sentiment. To these folks, it's purely about maintaining stronghold on power and any dissenting voice or opinions is seen as a threat to their existence which must be annihilated. If this barbarism isnt a recipe for civil war, I wonder what is. |
