HaneefahRN: Sorry to say, but u wld be a stu.pid man too if u caught ur wife cheating and refuse to forgive bt send her packing.
Yes, in my opinion she is taking it too far but don't u ever judge someone wt someone else, not everyone can forgive easily, I can bet it u can't forgive such easily too. I'm certain she isn't cheating , just trying to get back at him wt all the drama probably from too much films.
Hear urself, love, understanding, and respect for the man, so the woman deserves nothing but only to compromise when bullshit is thrown at her? U'll claim men and bring another woman into ur matrimonial home, into ur matrimonial bed! Yet u're crying with him cos he met a man in their sitting room, the cousin part got me LMAOing tho. Trust me if she wanted to cheat the man wld never suspect anything. My dear, u are in Africa. In this society, the men are superior. We did not form the rules. We just came into this world to meet it like that. Cheating is bad. But our society, being polygamous by nature, will be more forgiving of a cheating man than a cheating woman. That is Africa for u. To answer ur question. Of course I won't easily forgive my wife for cheating. That is why we are Africans. We expect our wives to respect us by remaining loyal in all circumstances. But we should all try not to use that fact as an excuse to make her unhappy. |

AgbenuAnna: seriously? is that all u think of O yes!!! Dis is arrant nonsense. The man made a mistake. He is humble enough to ask for forgiveness. The st.upid woman should forgive him so that life goes on. There was a time I used to cheat. My wife caught me. I sincerely begged for forgiveness and everything was forgotten that nite. Like it never happened. I learned my lessons and stopped. That is what marriage shud be. Love, understanding, respect for the man, and compromise by all. |

Adasun: Hellow fellow,am in a big mess right now.
My pervetious heart lead me to cheat on my wife and unfortunately i got caught red handed.i woun't explain dat awkward experience for now.
My wife trusted me so much, but i broke those trust.now my own home is broken too.
When da deed happened and i was caught, she cried nd cried and later left my house.due to pleads frm those she respected so much because i ask them for help.she later came back to da hwz bt not in gud terms
we no longer greet, she hardly talks to me,she cook when she wants to.once she did not cook,i had to buy fud for da kids
most of all,she now started acting wield nd free.she picks suspicious calls right under my nose.laugh anyhow when charting.
When it first started,i thought it's just a plot to get me jealous so i dance to da tone.i use my body language to atleast show her am jealous and want her badly.
Bt it got worse, she now comes home late and even brought a guy home.and when i saw dis guy in da sitting rum,he introduce me as her cousing.
i was mad,but i myself i guilty.how do i show her dat am in charge when i myself was caught cheating should i send her out?on what ground
should i continue to make peace reign?bt i have tried my best.i need ur help my fellow landers.help a brother to make da right decision. hmmm!!! It seems to me that ur wife is the one feeding u and footing all d bills at home. It seems she is the bread winner. I don't encourage extramarital affairs cos it does more harm than good. But u have apologized. That is all dat matters here. Take charge of ur home like a man and throw the stu.pid bi.tch out of ur house.
Except u don't live in Nigeria or except she feeds u. If so, OYO is ur case. But if not, man up and send her packing. If she is so wicked to deny u forgiveness, u life is at great risk.

amtaken: Did you read the post? Where did I write that ladies approached men for favours?
Why are some of you guys so pained by this post?
Hope it's not what am thinking. yes u never wrote it. But General experience suggests dat men only get interested in married women when the woman seeks undue favours from the man. Men will always require some form of compensation for doing big favours. Other than that, most men (except few ex boyfriends) find married women to be repulsive. I do too. |

Where is your location, can you post the pics for us to see thanks for ur advice. However, I don't wanna waste more money on something that may not work. robonski15: Boss you can mail me, or chat with me on whatsapp.. Thanks Gud day sir. I am an ardent follower of this catfish thread on nairaland. I have a challenge which I need ur input. I have completed arrangement to start my fish farm in concrete ponds. A mason, who came highly recommended by a reputable fish farmer in my area, constructed the ponds for me. However, after construction (together with plastering and all) I noticed cracks forming on the walls of the ponds. I sought advise and I was told to reinforce the pond by cracking them open in strategic places and casting concrete pillars with iron rods into them. I have completed this reinforcement too at a great cost. However, I noted that the cracks appeared again soon after I finished the reinforcement. I tried filling the ponds with water but they dried out by the next day. Obviously I can't use the ponds like that. I am so discouraged. I spoke to u sometime ago about buying ur fingerlings as soon as my pond is ready. Now I can't do that. I am considering the option of fabricating tarpaulin ponds and placing them inside the concrete ponds. How feasible do u think this option will be? Will it have any side effects? What other (cheaper) option is open to me? We are talking of 6 ponds of 7ft by 14ft each. Pls reply. It will be appreciated. |

litetias: First of all let me say that this is not personal.
Now your statement indicates a lack of understanding on your part about what makes guys to womanise. I call that naivety. I sense that you lack the emotional maturity to suss out that men actually womanise as a result of them feeling empty inside. So they sleep with many girls thinking it will make them feel capable and good about themselves. So from this you can see that womanising is not related to attractiveness but is related to a lack of manliness. Real men don't womanise because they know that even if you sleep with all the women in the world it's not an achievement because women are very cheap to get. Btw I am attractive (without sounding immodest) but I don't womanise because just one woman is enough for a real man. When you spend all your time and resources on the one that you have chosen then you are on the right path, trust me. So in summary, go have a rethink about your view on men and womanising U made some sense. But I have a different opinion. Men don't womanise just because they have a self esteem problem, although it is part of the reason. Men womanise because they want to get what (they feel) they don't have. Men womanise because they have the resources and the opportunity to do so. |

MizMyColi: I think it's pretty normal for someone who has forged very strong familial bonds with their relation.
This might sound harsh But you need to go tough in love.
While scolding her might sound like an option, it might turn out to be counter productive.
First, stop indulging and petting her. I'm sure you've told her by now that she is now married to you, and that both of you need to be strong both mentally and emotionally for each other to build your lives.
If you have had this pep talk with her, and she is still tearing up. Permit her to go to her house. Tell her to stay as long as she likes and she shouldn't return until you come for her.
This sounds brutal, but it seems an efficient way to cure that unwanted spirit in her. @ the bolded. Best advise ever. I am 100% sure that this will cure her stupidity. The OP should just abandon her in her parents house for 2 months. call her only once a week, if she complains, He tells her that why shud he bother calling when she could simply stay in her matrimonial home and talk to her husband everyday. No be person go tell am to grow up. her papa sef go pursue am |

missKiffy: This job has made me realise that truly we women are the problem of this world. I started this job on the 2nd of November last year and the Manager who happens to be a lady is everybody's problem in that office.
While working there its been one issue or the other, this lady in question is repulsive, cranky, rude, very proud, talks to people anyhow including an elderly man who happens to be the driver, never takes blame for her mistakes but never fails to magnify every other persons mistake. My mind has left the place since the day I found out that she was looking for a replacement for my position, that was late last month, I had initially decided to leave after collecting my salary for that month before I later changed my mind, as at now I don't know if she still intends to find someone else but my mind is just not there anymore, there is nobody they haven't threatened with a sack in that office, in fact a guy was once sacked just a week after he started work. It's just a small organisation with about six staffs including the boss, she's actually in a relationship with the boss and if they do decide to get married I don't even want to be there by then cos if she can be behaving like this when they are only dating i wonder how she will behave when they get married.
I know a lot of people would say it's best to leave your job only when you've gotten another place but you might not understand what's it's like when your mind is not just there anymore. What do you guys think? Do you think I should quit? Having known u to be one of the most celebrated tribal bigots on Nairaland, I have only one question for u;
This ur female manager, does she happen to be an igbo? |

adeaks: The problem is that the supreme court declared the Oguebego Executive as the authentic executive but did not say anything on the election of the people tendered by the fake executive who contested and won the elections. People have only been reading their own implications into the judgment.
Inec CANNOT withdraw the certificate given to oduah and co without an express court order directing them to do so.
The Oguebego case was a pre-election matter dealing with in-house primaries. It had nothing to do with the election itself that brought in Stella oduah and co which can only be heard by an election tribunal.
The Suit filed by Awomolo and Co is for the supreme court to direct on which way to proceed. It would bring a final end to all the confusion we have currently. Justice kolawole's order is for INEC to wait until the supreme court gives a judgment one way or another in the current suit.
People will just berate the judge without understanding the issues. Justice kolawole is not a rookie judge not to have considered all the ramificatons of granting the injunction. And finally, he definitely didn't overrule the supreme court. The person who wrote the title is just being mischievous. common sense is very rare. Ur own stock of common sense is plentiful. Lack of intelligence tells on you sir. If you do not understand the reason why the students see this as a despicable act, then I guess you never went through the University (and even if you did, you refused to gather the knowledge you were meant gather).
And btw, for your information, you have successfully painted Sen. Ben Murray Bruce in a worse light than these poor students have.
Go and learn how to be more creative instead of just looking for cheap publicity with your #NotSoCommonSense post. I agree that invited guests shud be treated as invited guests. But u know how unreasonable students can be, especially with their bandwagon effect t. I am sure they abused the invitation by packing the whole class to the event instead of selecting few representatives. Everyone wants a chance to meet and socialize with the great Ben Bruce, and they eventually Lost decorum. Even u as a host will be overwhelmed if u expect 10 students and u got 200. So I might not be too quick to blame the senator for this shortcoming. I work with students and I know just how stupid even the most enlightened among them could become. |

Compare it with Tata brands and I will still pick a Tata vehicle.
I also learnt that the CEO uses other vehicle brands regularly, not his innosson. So tell me why I should be proud of innosson vehicles.

Imagine using 100 local hands to assemble parts manufactured by some 5000 hands and calling it local. I am an igbo man. But sadly, I must say u are very correct.
Anyway, It is not the fault of Innoson. U will need investment in much more elaborate machinery, manpower and R & D to manufacture most parts in Nigeria. I believe that if he has government support, he will go all the way. Imagine what he will do if; -Government signs an undertaking to buy 90% of all government vehicles from innoson. -Orders all multinationals to buy 70% of all there vehicles from Innoson. -Encourages all private individuals who are working class and desires to buy innoson cars by giving them interest friendly loans.
I assure u, even international financial agencies & investors will fall over themselves to give innoson the required finance to achieve 80% local content. |
