Call it anything you like. An 8 year old kid hawking on the streets and being exposed to ritualists, reckless drivers and sexual predators is child abuse. Parents should take more responsibility. I know things can be hard in NIgeria but making a kid do this to help feed the family that you decided to create is child abuse. This is not 1803. Parents just do not want to change their views and keep manufacuring children. The children should not have to pay for their parents poor choices. Those parents should be punished for endagering these children. What stops the parent from doing the hawking themselves. They can work on the farm in the morning and then hawk the wares in the evening and then at night they can make more babies if they want. Yeye. It is called responsiblity.

Never had any problems with epidural but I worked with a woman that claimed that it made her hair curl permanently in the back of her hair. Definitely there is the chance of injury. There can be side effects just like with every medical procedure.

The last thing on a doctors mind when an 8 pound baby is coming out of a bloody vagina is sex but my husband gets jealous which to me is ridiculous. There is nothing sexual about it. At 20 I could not tell my parents that I was dating. My focus was school. If you guys are not planning to marry in the next 3 years and her guardians said to cut if off then you guys should have atleast tried to be discreet. jay I have actually thought about that. Imagine catching top people in office on video with sound taking bribes or even having the face of a regular police officer harrasing citizens or threatening someone's life. People in the US are even video taping their homes now when they are not there. If someone breaks in they have a video and they can put their face on tv. There are annonymous tip lines that if you see that person anywhere and you call and that call leads to an arrest you can claim some money. There is another kid I saw on TV that video tapped a police officer basically saying that he would make up charges so the boy can go to jail. I think the boy provoked the officer but guess what an officer making that statement is unacceptable and he lost his job. You can get some of these survellance cameras for very cheap too. I think it is worth looking into especially in that Nigeria.

Thanks God they don't have guns lying around in the hospitals LOL. Trust me he will not be dancing and walking. He will be scared like a baby and even be filling some guilt. He might not feel the pain physically but he will definitely feel it emotionally.

CS should only be done if you have to. Don't let a doctor talk you into it. I think too many people are going that route now. If the mother or child is not at risk then do it normally. I got epidural for both my boys. I stayed home until my contractions were about 5 minutes apart and then we headed for the hospital which is about 12 miles from my home. I was already about 9 cm dialated when I got to the hospital both times and sometimes the doctor might say that epidural might not be a good idea at that time. But I would have quenched without epidural o. I was like 'JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" I WANT EPIDURAL JESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS TELL THEM TO GIVE ME EPIDURAL. I was even reciting psalm 91 at a point. LOL. It is funny now but it was no joke then. There was this song I was singing at a point. I forgot. My husband said when I started singing he got scared. LOL. I pushed for about 30 minutes for number one because I was using a midwife and she wanted the baby to come down naturally and for me to push a few times. I pushed for only 5 minutes with number two. I used a doctor that time and as soon as he saw that the baby was already almost out he told me to push and he was out in about 5 minutes.

You are too funny. I have never read a post that made me laugh like this. On a serious note though I think part of your problem is even the short hand you use. I have noticed it with alot of nigerians and americans that write like that. Spell out the words. The more you do it the better you get. After you write go back and look through it. It does not have to be perfect but it should at least make sense.

Have you tried lubrication? My best friend has to with her husband. Note though that using lubrication can reduce the effectiveness of condoms

Make sure you put EPIDURAL in upper case in your paperwork. Infact tell them to just start giving it to you everyday just in case labor starts unexpectedly. LOL. Okay on a serious note. It is the worst pain you will ever feel. You will think that you will die but you will not. You will get through it and somehow stupidly get pregnant again.

Pregnancy is different for every woman. I had problems digesting food and had pre eclampsia with baby number one. Had the same digestion problems with baby number two but no preclampsia.
You will be very nervous with baby number one especially if you are not used to newborns. You will make numerous doctor appointments because you think the baby might be running a fever and the doctor sef will beg you not to come back. She does not want your money anymore. LOL. By baby two you will be relaxed. You will not even believe that you were as tense as you were with baby one.

rhodasius I remember when I had my first born and I had no help. My mother had a stroke 2 weeks before he was born but she insisted that she will come anyway. She left her therapy and came to cincinnati to be with me. She could only stay two weeks because she still did not have control of one side of her body and I did not want her to stop physical therapy for too long. Those days were so scary. I remember that I will not take a shower becuase I was afraid that I will not hear him cry. I would not even go 2 feet away from him. What if he starts choking. What if his food comes back up into his nose. I was so tightly wound. If I had someone there, I would have slowly learnt to let go. A week after I had my son my blood pressure went up to 202/150 and I was rushed to the ICU. I was so worried because my mom was still here and I was worried that she would raise her blood pressure out of worry for me. I was in the ICU for almost a week. Infact as soon as I came back from the hospital my mom was leaving to go back to atlanta to take care of her own health. All the worries and stress ehn. My dear it was not easy. My husband has already said that when we move back at Nigeria that I have to rest. People in Nigeria that have help are lucky. You provide a job for people and they in turn become a menber of your family. They really become an Aunty to your children. It benefits the child and the family. The way we do things here is crazy.
This morning I was leaving for work, my 2 year old was awake and downstairs, my husband who did not go to bed until 3 am was still sleeping. I put cereal and milk in front of my son, yelled at my husband that I was leaving and our son was downstairs and I hit the road. Texted him while I was driving to make sure he got up and my son was not still downstairs by himself. I emailed him around 12 pm to check how his day went. Luckily he can work from home alot. He said the morning was crazy and he had to change the 1 year old twice before he took then to daycare. This is just a nutshell of our life on a daily basis and it is not unique to our family. God alone is seeing us through. I have toyed with the idea of sending them to Nigeria to spend a month but I just cannot imagine not seeing them for a whole day. Being a parent aint easy. Maybe that's why I respect my husband so much. I can almost forgive him anything when I think of how much he contributes with day to day things. America is not all it is trumped up to be.

Cluelessness all over this thread it is almost suffocating. There are many diseases that you will not detect before the child is born and autism is one of them. I cannot say that I will judge a woman who knows a child will suffer and chooses not to carry to term. There was this little girl in Phillie who was confined to a wheelchair and had many health issues. She died and she was found with sores in her body that had maggots in it. She basically died from a mother's neglect and I am glad that a judge did honorable thing and the mother, social worker and other family members who knew of the treaetment of this helpless girl will pay dearly. Somebody loves them and cares for their rights. We thank God for such people.

I remember Rodney King was drunk when he was pulled over by police and he got his ass beaten up by like 5 or 6 cops. No one cared that the fool was drunk. All we knew and cared was that this man was brutalised and people stood up in his defence and he won a multi million dollar lawsuit and a message was sent to other cops. True talk Mohawk. I pray for every child being born o. I in 150 babies born in the US has autism and most of those with autism are boys. It is the same story with the UK. Better to diagnose it early and help that child at the earliest age possible
