Romance › Re: Submissive Or Independent - Which Quality Do You Prefer In Your Partner And Why? by Outstrip(f): 8:49pm On Jan 16, 2009
nalijah07:
And women, do you feel like your man is weak if he allows you to be too independent in the relationship?
What is allow abeg. Why does he have to "allow" me before I do anything. The weak ones are the ones that place restrictions. They are simply afraid that the woman will do better. Those kind of men I don't even regard as human beings. A smart man does not care about irrelevant things. He is thinking about how to better provide his family and love them not wondering if his wife is too independent. Is she in jail?

First of all you said you were having problems. Did you guys break up fpr a while? This man proposed to her abi and she had sex with him. What I do not understand is where you say she told him she was in a relationship. If you guys were having problems she might have thought that it would not work out and when the opportunity came she took it. She is in her mid twenties and you know some nigerian females will die before they enter their thirties unmarried. I feel your hurt even from your words. I definitely will never tell you that she is not your wife. She might be just the one for you. The only thing I can say is that if you feel that you will always be bitter about her giving her virginity to another man then maybe you need to leave her alone. You will only make her misreable and you in turn will be misreable. I just believe that all is not lost. You guys were having issues she found someone else who proposed very quickly and she had sex with him. That is how I interpreted what you wrote.

He has already said that he knows that his sister does bad things to his wife. In my opinion the wife is the one letting it happen since the poster has no balls. If she has the strength to divorce her husband then she should have the strength to whoop that little girls butt.

Dated african americans. My husband was the first nigerian I dated. My first boyfriend cheated and I was kind of glad because I was finally free. The second one was almost perfect and treated me like a queen but we had to part ways. There are good african american men just like there are good african men. You just have to look really hard to find the good african ones grin grin grin grin

Romance › Re: Am I Wrong? Please Be Sincere With Me by Outstrip(f): 8:35pm On Dec 31, 2008
bilms:
hi everyone,

i really appreciate ur contribution to this topic.

but please u have to get something right.

i do give her enough time any reasonable lady will appreciate, and my friends are not complaining about the whole thing. infact they do tell me to try and play along with her like that. but i no is not right deep inside me.
she even find it hard to greet them. she don't want to associate with them at all.

and i can't jst take it, how will my girl freinds be ignoring my own friends? i have been trying to please and jst pretend as if i don't no anything, but i can't continue like that. i think i have to let her no how much my frineds worth to me. i think she is suppose to be close to them and make freinds with them.

so i told her even if u will walk away or i will die lonly when i tell u this, i will still tell u, that i can't continue with u if u fail to settle with my friends. she keeps saying am i going to marry my friend or her but still,it still remains that my friends are very important to me and if my girl find it hard to understand she wont get the attention she deserve.

cheers
Is that not a lie you just told? You asked in your initial post if it was wrong to put your friends ahead of your girl. Don't try to twist it now. You are wrong and you know it. The person who said that your future wife would have also been your girlfriend at a point was right on the money. She is not a one night stand. If she is taking the relationship seriously then so should you. If I were her I would say bye to you and move on. Here we are yelling at people who re asking should I chose my wife over my family and you are saying your girlfriend over your friends. If you cannot show her that respect and now you will not show it when you marry her.
Family › Re: Serious Sister In Law Issue- What Should I Do Help by Outstrip(f): 5:28am On Dec 31, 2008
Be very very careful. Your husband is not using wisdom here. You said yourself that at a point both she and your husband were mad at you over something. What if the whole family reconciles and then you have alienated yourself from this woman. You will now be the outsider that does not get along with them. Do not send a text saying "this is america" blah blah blah. You can send a text and try to see if you can get her to understand why you do not feel like you deserve this treatment. She might respond with a phone call back if she likes the tone of the text. Most of all let her know that you are thankful for the time you stayed with her and even for the yeye $100.00 she spent. You can even tell her that you heard that she told people this and that and that it hurt. Let her know that you do not want she and your husband to keep fighting. I am not saying that you should carry the family's wahala on your head but you might be the voice of reason if not for the whole family then atleast between your husband and this siter.

This same thing happened to my cousin's co worker in nigeria. I am hesistant to believe these things but I am starting to believe it is real. He was also able to contact someone with a cell but then contact was lost. I don't know how they did it but at a point they even got him to go into the bank and withdraw money. I think it is a form of hypnosis they use. Another case was a family member (though I don't know the full story) got missing in lagos they found her in a church in abuja, again I believe she was hypnotised at some point. My cousin says at a point they even got into ajao estate and people where going door to door warning that these people have come into the estate. I don't know if they are ritualist but they say the longer they talk to you the better chance that they will get you to do what they want like get in their vehicles. That's why I am inclined to believe it is hynosis. What they do with these people after they kidnap them only God knows. Trust me there are devils in the form of humans walking this earth.

Romance › Re: What To Do With A Cheating Boyfriend? by Outstrip(f): 4:58am On Dec 09, 2008
This is the problem I have with most females. This should not even be an isssue. You have not even married him and he is already taking you for granted. My dear marriage is long infact they say it should be forever. How can you say you are engaged to a known cheat. What do you expect, that he will marry you and he will then not cheat again. This is how you open your eyes wide and walk into a hole that you dug. You already know that you should not marry him. A broken engagement is better than a broken marriage any time.
