Man do you know that while watching I totally forgot that this was supposed to be a satirical comedy show. These mfukas strung me along and I was even starting to believe the United front bullshit especially when they crowned it with that ritual in the kitchen, I thought it would end like that but man I was so fvcking wrong.
Tom and his wife is a prime example of "no put mouth for husband and wife matter" they overlooked him toomuch, even his right hand man Greg didn't have faith in him.
I absolutely loved it man and I'd recommend it to anyone anytime.

10/10 peak show.

lol As cute, good and "tv show defining" as that kitchen scene was, i knew that, thier little path to forge as one wasn't going to hold because if it's one thing they inherited from thier father is pure unbridled narcissism 😅. Bar Connor, they are all egotistical degenerates and probably didn't deserve the crown in the end, at least they got incredibly rich from the sale, and each can squander thier proceeds from the sale as they deem fit 🤭.

Tom and Shiv marriage has always been a marriage of convenience and Shiv has been doing my man dirty right from the get go, at least he got one over her.

You are right, it is the very pinnacle of tv drama...an easy easy recommend of the top of my head, any day, any time

I really didn't think it would end the way it did especially given the name of the damn series. Omo Bravo to them.

Maan. first of all, i thought the ending was perfect and i couldn't see it any other way.

Great shows always have this impasse of being too good that they basically don't know how to end it, i thought this was going to be so, but the show runners threw some serious spanners in the work and totally blew me away.

i am of fan of a good show having as few a season as possible and ending on a very high note, this was a classic "3 season show" and getting a 4th season was a blessing in hindsight because they delivered and a season further and the story could have become bland pretty quick trust me, thereby tainting it's Goat status. For E.G GOT is like one of the best thing in recent pop culture history but a very bad last season nearly ruined it, if not the previous seasons were far too superior, the show could have faded into oblivion.

Now to the ending and why i think it is brilliant and probably one of the best ending to a show in recent times.

The official theme of the show is that it is "a satirical comedy show" and this played a very big hand in the end. "Succession" being the title meant somewhere along the line, someone was bound to succeed Logan Roy, now let's look at our choices, was is it gonna be Connor Roy, the "illegitimate son, that has been removed from corporate life all his life, to take over a multi billion media conglomerate? Hell No!, Logan would never, or let's look at Kendall Roy, a drug addict, an eccentric and an actual murderer who even tried to usurp Logan? Logan has cancelled him as a successor since S2 sef, or Roman Roy, the pervert immature man child? Never! or Shiv Roy? A woman to succeed??

So bro, in hindsight the entire show was about the children trying to impress Logan enough so that he would name them a successor, but the truth is that Logan is an unrepentant narcissist and the only thing that he probably loved more than himself is the "Waystar" Corp, and from S3, he decided he wasn't gonna leave it to any of his "degenerate children" but rather sell to GOJO, to protect his legacy...to protect his narcissist selfish ego...some cold cold parenting i tell you!.

Now, S4 threw a very large curve ball as early as the 3rd episode 😩😩, and I'm sure you know what i am talking about cuz i walking on eggshells here trying to avoid spoilers for those who might have not seen it yet, and Omg, i was like i haven't seen a shock like that in a Tv show since they daggered Jon Snow in S5 finale of GOT 😩😩. I thought it was a bold move and the show might not recover, and trust me the sub reddit page went mad that day, and people were on about, "I don't care about seeing the rest of the season" 😩. But my man pu7pl3!, The preceding episodes were one of the best acting i have seen in a TV show in a very long while!, so so good that in the Emmy 2024, 3 of the leads got the "Best actor in a drama nod!, like do you know what that means??, The 3 of them a competing against themselves for performances in the same show!!. The church scene at the burial of you know who and that final board meeting to vote on Waystar Corp sale was just peak tv show acting...so so good.

It being a satire comedy came into play in the end, with none of the "legimate successor" actually succeeding and As Logan Roy predicted, They self destructed and imploded on themselves and Tom Wambsgans, the supposed "runt" of the Show being named CEO of Waystar was peak satirical writing in the end if you ask me.


My brother in Christ, "Succession" is peak tv drama, the best of the very best, and only HBO could deliver this momentous feasting. Gargantuan network fr bro 😭😭.

I leave you with the words of Logan Roy to his children that encapsulate the summary of the entire show, He said "I love you, but you are not serious people" 🤭🤭

The trailer of NAPOLEON gave me goosebumps. Epic war thriller movie. Putting Joyless Phoenix for that role na tactical masterclass. I believe it'd be more nuanced than his previous roles than just plain outright melancholy.

I dey you. March is such an unnatural month to release a flick. But DUNE PART 2 is easily the biggest title currently slated for 03/24 and i think it will thrive, the oscar buzz might be a little bit lower, since it will be almost a year till it is available for a win!.

On Windows 11 latest build now, and it's quite appalling that Microsoft has never bothered to improve hard drive management and health since WIN 7 days.

Chief, i did considered it but i didn't know if it will work since it only works when the HDD is already in a recognised file system, NTFS, FAT, ExFat etc.

This particular HDD was just showing "RAW and Unallocated" in Disk management, and the only way Windows could recognise it was if I formatted into a recognised file system.

A beautiful feature about love and human connection with a creepy touch of the near future or are we already in that future?

It tells the tell of Theodore, a reclusive going through a divorce. He then gets a sentinent AI and eventually falls madly in love with it, it then unravels a beautiful world of loneliness and togetherness at the same time whilst sounding out a stern warning that no matter how intelligent AI gets, it might not be able replace actual human connection and our instiable emotional craving.

Theodore is played by Joaquin Phoenix, and i once again question if this man goes outside or have any sort of Joy in real life!. He is the perfect melancholy/anti-social/reclusive type cast in the history of this industry. He bodies these kind of roles effortlessly and delivers an all timer here. The A.I is named Samantha voiced by Scarlett Johansson, and OMG, I can't even blame Theodore, who wouldn't fall in love with that her raspy sexy voice whispering sweet nonsense to you 24/7?. Even if we don't actually "see" her on screen, her voice left much to be imagined. As the movie is some what futuristic, the cinematography is breathtaking with perfect ambient score to serenade the whole ride.

Now, whilst i am not a "Top 100 movies you have ever seen" guy, This is without doubt, one of my best films ever. such a gem 🌟💎

Who no go think am. I was depressed for almost one month and reduced talking with people when I lost only 64GB flash drive. Talkless of harddrive. 😂😂 I dey quick vex for that period, and barely took part in conversations cos I dey calculate what could have been for my fantasy world in my head. 😭😭

Na the time and effort in curation and doing those things na in dey pain pass especially when you think of replicating same energy to get back the files.

Mine crashed last month, no warning nothing. 500 HDD storage, it contained all my JavaScript and React tutorial from udemy and many other sources, from basis to advanced, 400gb files all gone 😭😭..... I haven't really recovered from the truma up till now. Can't place my hands on the specific files and videos I lost, I don't know how to go about getting or downloading it back.

Tried all these online recovery software, the price in dollars they're calling for me, it'd be cheaper if I redownload the videos and files, but the problem is remembering the videos.

Mannn. I know the feeling!. Funny enough it's the first time, it has happened to me on a HDD, it usually use to be on a flash drive, and those didn't bother me cuz they were usually small file sizes, but this one last night? Cold catch me 😩😩.

It was yesterday i truly discovered that data recovery was a big business, like it's a big market!. I searched YouTube for like an hour and pre-puberty indian boys 🙄 were just wasting my time with methods and software that leads to a dead end 😔. I decided to just get a paid data recovery software, my bro i see price and i just dey laugh 😂. The cheapest price i saw was $45!, for a week access o, what if I don't recover all my files in one week?, okay i said lemme even consider it because i was a desperate man at this point, i checked my USD card and by balance was $0.25 😂😂😂. I just gave up that paid issh idea and said it's me and Obasanjo's internet tonight, i must get something that wouldn't cost me much.

Maann, Recovering data from a failed HDD is touch and go, you will get a higher chance of success if it's a software error rather than hardware error, a data recovery tool can easily fix the former, but for Hardware error, you would most likely need to visit a data recovery technician, might take weeks and trust me you will spend hell!.

In my case, fortunately, it was a software error that makes it refuses to be recognized as a HDD, the partition and files are in it, but there's was no way to communicate with the PC that, it is infact a HDD. So i went to an old software pirate site i use to use back then, and i grabbed a pirated software named "Diskgenius", mann, this software was like 60mb or so and i doubted it's capabilities, and I was like i don reach another dead end, it was 3:56am at this point 🥴 and i was like if this don't work, na to sleep. I fired up the software and boom the first line of hope, it recognized the HDD! I shock o, i was like see small y@nsh dey shake o 😳😜. I ran a test on the HDD, and i casually just hit a "recover partition button" and after some minutes, my beloved HDD was back 😭😭, i could see the partitions and there was an option to recover the files 😭😭.

Now, I do hope yours is a just a software error and not Hardware error. You can search for the software, if you can't get it, holla at me so i can shoot you the file.

But my best advice sha, SATA drives are rubbish in these days o, for work I suggest you consider an SSD for backup, though pricey but much more durable or also consider cloud storage, i know the internet plans here are terrible for this to properly take off, but give it a try, gdrive offers 15GB free storage i think, and there are ways to get Unlimited storage.

I read on Reddit one time, about a guy needing actual therapy from depression after his HDD failed containing his childhood and life long vacation photos!. It's not a pleasant experience to go through at all.

Mannnn. After 4 hours yesterday!, i was able to reach the fringes of the "dark web" and get a data recovery software, it turns out the HDD just simply refuse to recognise itself as a HDD! and failing to create Partitions except i format 😩.

Anyways, the recovery software was able create a pathway to recover the files and i have been doing that...omo the relief i felt ehen 🥹😂

I think he's right...No? Box office numbers is not a healthy metrics to measure a film success. Not all movies are destined for box office greatness, doesn't necessarily mean they are bad flicks, if you are familiar with indie genre, you get what I'm saying.

Infact, back before the Oscars went artsy, box office bombs used to regular clear the Awards. "Hugo" (2011) was huge box office bomba, but still genered an impressive 11 Oscar nom, winning 5!.

Box office numbers shouldn't mean much to a true cinephile, and i am not saying movies shouldn't make money, of course they should, it's a business, but it is left for the movie makers and producers to balance it out without tainting the art.

Plus the biggest titles of the summer, Barbie and Oppenhemier had thier last weekend on the Big screen this past weekend and there was a mad dash by movie goers to see them one last time on the big screen, Blue Beetle releasing this same weekend and still managed to make almost half it's budget and I'm hearing wafflings like "it flopped" 😩😩.... simply baffling.

Maann...Martin Scorsese was right. The obsession with these box office numbers is killing the industry. These numbers might discourage people who hold these obsession, thinking this is a bad movie which infact it's not. Any projections that picture this doing exceedingly better than this at this point is a farce. DC didn't even put much into promoting this till like last 2 weeks or so.

Blue Beetle flopped as expected...

The DC brand is almost dead and only a hard reboot can save it but it's gonna take time and serious effort.

Anyways, I watched Blue Beetle yesterday and ngl the critics were right about this one.

This is a good movie. There's a lot of heartfelt moments in this movie, the action is good, the story is okay and it has solid characters.

The Latino cast is great and everybody brings their A game.

This movie is not groundbreaking by any means. It is kinda similar to other superhero flicks you've seen before.

But it is hella fun and very entertaining.
It is a family movie. A very good family movie.

As a matter of fact, I watched this movie in a cinema with about two dozen people and I noticed a family of five all dressed in matching outfits in the room with us.
Everybody had a good time.

Blue Beetle is not a perfect movie.

The first half is a bit above average with exposition left and right and some moments where I thought the movie was starting to loose me.

But the second half is nothing short of spectacular. The movie draws you back in again with very good action scenes and family dynamics that will get you emotional.

Even the villain who was generic and uninteresting at first got a moment to shine in the third act.

Did I mention that this movie has high stakes.
At least 3 or more characters died. I can't get into details cuz 'spoilers'.

Xolo Mariduena shines as the lead. He fits the Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle like a glove.

Blue Beetle has the vibe and feel of the early 2000s superhero films.
If you didn't like those superhero films you watched as a kid I don't think you will enjoy Blue Beetle.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Blue Beetle is way better than The Flash imo.

The third act alone clears everything The Flash tried to do.

I didn't expect it but Blue Beetle is surprisingly good.

My expectations were low and this movie still left me entertained and satisfied.

My rating- 7.5/10

Flopped in what context, because that is such a heavy term to use for a movie that is barely 4 days old.

Exactly, or use S4 to tie up any loose ends and call it quits. Fortunately for me, i can tell when a show has ran full course and the showrunners are basically just winging it. Maan, there is too many quality media to consume to be sticking to one that has gone sour, simply because it used to be good.

Heck, except for probably sitcoms, it is an absolute war crime to be doing more than 5 seasons in these times.
