Rapture4real: Some people no longer go to church with hardcopy Bible because they have all manner of Bible versions in their phones which they use during sermon in the church. What do you think about it? The same thing goes with hymnbook .
The instruction is to study the word and be transformed by it. The form of the Bible is irrelevant.
“The blind can see the developments going on in Lagos and the determination to consolidate the THEMES agenda is wonderful and because of your outstanding performance, the church in Lagos State is saying unequivocally that one good turn deserves another and since you do not change a winning team, let us all pray and support this performing, pragmatic, wonderful, ever consciously proactive, people-oriented and God fearing Govt to continue for a second term”…CAN, Lagos State at the year 2022 Inter-denominational Divine Service.
Mhistasaints: Hello guys! I need a simple advice. I am a married man, my ex-girlfriend is also married. I've been married for 2years now and she got married 2months ago. When I got married, she told me she was disappointed at me, that why couldn't I come and beg her when she said no. She was the one that left me in the relationship telling me that her people say that I was too young and had nothing. I focused, achieved and got married at 23yrs. Of late, she chatted me up and we discussed. She started being too intimate to the extent of trying to discussing her sexual marital life with me on her she doesn't like having sex with her husband. Few days ago, she started asking me for money. I am sensing something fishy. What do I do?
lecturer50: I have observed that males in their late thirties and early forties can easily say NO to sex.
As in, they may interact with females and do not think of sleeping with her.
Even if the lady is very beautiful and wants sex with the man, he can easily refuse or delay it. And the surprising thing is that they have more opportunities to sleep with women,
unlike the males in their twenties and early thirties who are always looking for sex which they won't even find. Such an irony!
People in late thirties and early forties tends to be more focused and self fulfilled, and tend to discover that Sex is not that important.
I don't mean those who are chronic sex addict. I am talking about a normal somebody.
(As in, those males who are chronic sex addict, even if they are 100 years, they can still rape their great grand daughters to satisfy themselves. So I am not talking about those kind of males.)
My car recently started vibrating when it is not in motion, I asked my mechanic the cause. He initially said it was the exhaust touching a part of the car, after he had inspected it and discover it wasn't the exhaust. He changed the cold start and still it is vibrating. Please what could be the cause of this.
Promisecinho12: I met the pretty lady few years ago and we were cool with each other. I was the first man in her life but distance became a barrier in our relationship. She later got married and now she has two lovely kids.
Whenever she visits her parents, she always wants to visit me too but I don't usually allow her to enter the room with me cause am scared that okafors law may work on me
Recently I told her to stop visiting me that she is married and I don't fancy her visiting me and she called me all sort of names pls I don't know if I did something wrong for telling her not to visit me again.
By the way, she will be back to apologise and plead for attention. If she has not done that already

this comment I like. I read the story ans was like WTF!
WoundedLamb: @bolded, it's obvious the only reason you're considering saying sorry is because she now earns much more than you do, and you fear she might hold it against you or start treating you the way you used to treat her. Sir, you were evil to her. You probably put her through series of depression phases, and you would have been doing that up till this moment if she was still earning less than you. And you're telling us you're just like that. You're just like how? Just naturally wicked? How would someone that treats his wife like this treat strangers? You can't even bring yourself to say you're sorry to your wife of over a decade. And please, don't say you just wanted her to braze up (whatever that means). That's what you tell yourself to get rid of the guilty conscience that's obviously eating you up. You obviously know that's not true and that's why you feel this way. Acknowledge your wicked acts without excuses, that's the first step to your peace of mind.
I pity the poor woman. People like you hardly appreciate others. So if you're saying she's such a nice person, then she must have really endured so much to the extent that you're even surprised yourself. She might not tell you this, but she hasn't forgotten how you made her feel. People forget what you say or do but not how you make them feel. The apology you're yet to give started losing its value the moment she started earning more than you, and if you wait till she officially brings up the past before you eventually apologize, the apology will be almost valueless. You are a lucky man. This lady has shown you love that even your hardened heart cannot deny and it's unlikely she'll stop now. So just go and apologize whichever way you know how to, she has obviously at peace with her fate.
Two important things: 1) For the sake of your mental health, don't give yourself excuses for treating her the way you did. Saying things like "I only wanted her to braze up", "that's just who I am", etc. might make you feel better temporarily but the guilty conscience will always come back. 2) Your attitude after the apology is more important than the apology itself. Anybody can apologize but it takes a genuine heart to make changes.
300whitewolves: Waist beads are always a turn off for me anytime I see them though my babe and I never discussed something like that.
Last week as we were gisting she told me she wanted to buy a waist bead from a friend of hers, as soon as she said it I just didn't feel happy about it, she was just smiling and talking about how she is going to look good in the waist bead, how she will turn me on and all but sincerely, I was just irritated cos I don't like it as a result of the perception I have.
She later got it and I intentionally didn't ask her about it, she showed me but my compliment for the waist bead was shallow, she expected me to rave over it, comment well and all but mehn it was a big and huge turn off for me, that's how she got angry and all and decided to give me attitude and not pick my calls again.
Wait!! let me get this right. SHe told you her plans and you did not talk, she bought the beads and you still did not talk she then got upset at your reaction and you still did not talk. Now you are wondering where the quarel si coming from or what do you want from us? relationships should be about communication nad you have failed in that regard on this issue
Successdude: Does it mean establishments like wazobia fm can't sue another business using the name wazobia [in Nigeria ] ?
No it does not. However in court the journey can take unexpected turns. So advise to business owners. Pick brand names that are inherently unique or that have no bearing on the nature and character of your goods or services it makes intellectual property life easier. After all wetin Apple get to do with computer ordinarily
Bauer1: I know this isn't the right section. But I don't know the right one and so I opted to post here since it seems to have a lot of traffic.
Yesterday, I returned to my room to find a rat dead in the middle of it. Ordinarily, I wouldn't be bothered. But this rat has clearly been bitten (pictures will be displayed below). I called a neighbour and we examined it. We were arguing if a snake could have done it, and if yes, why it didn't swallow it. In any case, we decided to leave it where it was to see if whatever killed it would return for it. I went to sleep at a friend's.
We returned this morning to find the dead rat gone. So, I called others to join me and we ransacked every nook and cranny of the room. We couldn't find anything threatening. But we did find another rat killed in much the same manner as the first (second picture).
It irks that I can't find what did this. I can't sleep in the room as it is. So please, experts in the house, help me to identify what it could be and what can be done.
Mods please help move to front page.
Looks like something a cat or some other predator would have done and not a snake. Check that room well. A creature has access from somewhere. If in doubt jejely fumigate

Depends on the use the other business is putting the name to. A trade mark registration does not automatically give you u universal protection. Like I said earlier there are 45 classes of trade Mark's. U register in the class(s) that apply to your business. So someone using a similar trade mark in a manner that is totally unrelated to your own use could be allowed to use it without consequence. Each class has a description of goods/services to which it applies. So when you register in a class you register for the goods/services in that class. Furthermore you may limit your registration in a class to a few of the goods in the class rather than all the goods in the class. You can Google "nice classification" of trade Mark's to understand the classes.
Successdude: Is it possible to trademark the slogan wazobia ?
Thanks
This would be hard to trade mark cos you cannot claim to have coined it or originated it and cos it is such a widely used phrase.trademarking it would mean preventing others from using a phrase that has become synonymous with Nigeria.
It also depends on which of the 45 classes of trade mark u want to register it in.
