I am yet to see Obasanjo Tinubu even foolish Afenifere, Gbaja or any governor, deputy or any elected representative of Yoruba stock condemned this. What Igbos do with their foolish leaders is not Yoruba’s problem. In fact every former governor, present n their deputies from Igbo land deserve to be beheaded not just beaten up for allowing Igbo land to turn into the shithole it became after close 20 year ruins by PDP.

Well, all I will say is...

If you want a world class hostel....PAY world class fees.

Fees for unviersity in Nigeria are below $300 per annum. Because we are 'poor'. Well, sports fans, the above is what you can get for just $300 or less.

If you want modern hostels, pay DECENT fees. Decent fees means that the university would have the means to keep the hostels well maintained...including getting the kind of grass cutting equipment that would keep the bush low.

But the thing is in Nigeria, we seem to think that if we catch all the corrupt leaders, and take their money, we will live like they do in the USA. That's partly true...but the truth also is we are not earning enough cash.

As an example, Canada spends $60billion on primary education alone. Nigeria meanwhile has $2bn or less for just education. But somehow in Nigeria...we expect $60BN something for just $2Billion (Like me walking into SLOT and demanding that they sell me that Nokia or Samsung Galaxy note for N5000 ).

Yes, we have to fight corruption. Yes we have to get rid of all them politcians. Yes, Bubu, GEJ etc must go...but let's face reality...good educaiton COSTS MONEY....and it is either we pay higher fees, or take loans to make up the difference. You won't want to take loans.

If they are bold enough to fight those who milk us dry without minding the consequences, then we should praise them and not condemn them. Every one is not selfish. It js this our selfish not to lose anything that has made our leaders to continue to milk us dry.


No law allows anyone to hit anyone. No law allows for revolution, no law allows the masses fighting the leaders, but over the years, youths have broken these laws to force a change. If anyone is brave enough to fight our enemies who mess up our education and send their kids abroad for education, we should appreciate those who are brave enough. Maybe u are part of the political class.

I tire for Nigerians sha. Is it that those bashing Kanu for calling for beating of Nigerian leaders of Igbo extraction, are they pleased with the situation of things in this country. When normal democratic channels of airing our grievances like protest and elections have become useless, using force and violence is inevitable. Left to me, I support violence against every single politician in Nigeria whose actions or inactions brought suffering on us. We cannot achieve much in the fight against corruption by just relying on petition before investigating and prosecuting corrupt officials the way ICPC and EFCC does. We need something deeper and that is where the Auditor General comes in.

The Auditor General is in a very good position to monitor MDA’s and force them to expend public funds as stipulated in financial regulations and other extant laws and circulars. Sadly, the OAuGF is handicapped because it still works with an audit ordinance law that was passed in 1956. There is an urgent need to pass the Fedeal audit bill into law so as to empower the AuGF to deal with some of these erring MDAS.

I know of a man who defrauded his company and after searching for him, they arrested his wife. Oga surrendered few weeks later

Fellow Nigerians, if there is anything to learn here, it is the fact that we have been sleeping. Before we blame Buhari for every problem of ours as a country, what have done to those we have chosen to represent us at the local, state and federal level? Have we ever confronted them as a people to ask them to give account of stewardship? If Yes, what have we been doing to those who have failed to represent us well? Truth is, if we have been beating failed leaders from the outset like Ekweremadu just witnessed, we won't be so far from the promised land as we are now.
