thebigkendo:I asked the ultimate radautoworks authority and Glen says he never did in the USA because the kits weren't available but replacements were are a decent price. The practice in the USA for those is not worth it |
thebigkendo:We don't recommend rebuilding those. Well rather use manufacturer remans |
sosidauto:I apologize. I'm sorry that I forgot you know more than the people that made the car. I bow to your greatness. Please help me go to VM and give them the corrected designs. |
WE ARE SUSPENDING ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION WORK FOR A MONTH BECAUSE DADDY RADU HAS JOINED AUNTY RADU FOR BABY RADU'S IMPENDING ARRIVAL. WE ARE NOT YET READY TO ALLOW OUR STAFF TO RUN COMPLETELY UNFETERRED IN OUR ABSENCE. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND SUSPENSION SERVICES ARE STILL AVAILABLE UNTIL OUR RETURN |

Goldrush123:Cool because I think the c class is perfect for you |

HeavenlyBang:I meant maintenance from point of knowledge and accessibility not cost. GS I think has more potential for the Kazeems to have a field day. I could be wrong though. C is good starter car for upper middle class I think. |
iameze:May be rebuilt but have to see to verify. Unfortunately, will be a month before we can deal with it. |
luvinhubby:I'm going to assume this is a pulled, used part right? |
HeavenlyBang:I'm down with the Acura but for ease, let him start with the c-class. To maintain the others will be too much for him without an excellent mechanic. |
Dremca:In the abstract, poorly. In person, well. Hence the aforementioned surprise I was talking about. |
Pipedreams:More effort is put into infiniti as their luxury brand than Nissan and they've improved in recent years but the older models, nope. Especially when Nissan |
Dremca:No, quite the opposite. If you act 'akata', it's more likely to happen. People who encounter me would not come at me that way. They usually relate to be in awe because I make it clear Africa is more like Wakanda than what they see so they better respect it. Even with the lion questions, it's more of an awe thing. One thing I get a lot is "I'm glad I met you before other Nigerians if not I wouldn't have believed y'all were so educated/cultured". You realise we have seen a lot more of the world than the typical American and we are way more traveled than they are right? Most have never even left their home state and know nothing about the world outside! My best friend of 20 years works for the TDCJ with a lot of Nigerians and says if she didn't know me first, she would hate all of us due to the behaviour they display. Again, it's in how you carry yourself. I can't stand some of our people who walk around all loud on the phone, throwing their feet talking about their mercedes-benz in the middle of the Damn bank at full volume (they know who they are). Just loud for no reason. Or constantly flashing wads of cash. Those are the ones that get racially profiled. Be professional, embrace your accent with all the royalty and history it represents and NEVER be ashamed to be Nigerian. If you are truly proud, the white people especially are intimidated. |
Pipedreams:Nissans look nice but are crap cars. If I tell you the number of times something broke or fell off during a new car test drive for a Nissan when I sold cars for a dealer in Houston! I worked for the Toyota next door and used to love to cross over to people looking at Nissans and ask to go on a ride with them. Something would almost always break and then guess where I'd take them after the test drive ![]() |
Goldrush123:I'll take a Mercedes over a Lexus. They're both nice cars but mercedes-benz is the flag-ship luxury brand for a reason. That being said, I suggest you start a little lower for your first car because you have lessons to learn that will be a lot cheaper on something else. Maybe Toyota Highlander/4runner or an Acura? Have you considered a Volvo S series sedan? For a first timer, a Mercedes/Lexus might be too finicky for you. They're very unforgiving to abuse. |
Piyke:Probably because idiots couldn't figure out how to remove it! Like the Mercedes in Lekki! |
That's why I was slightly hurt when someone compared us to a dealer I told you guys when I first joined that dealers here are incompetent. Some more than the Kazeems because they know better and choose not to do it ![]() |
segun2king:Well, you didn't answer the one question i asked trying to help you out so... Valarinz will hook you up |
Goldrush123:I think we've reached a consensus |
HeavenlyBang:I just told you that last page! Pay attention! ![]() |

Thank you. That's exactly why you're not getting responses lillyontop. It was GREAT advice but you didn't understand. It's not worth an in depth comparison because they are essentially the same. If you had said Honda/Toyota, you'd have had now responses because there are differences. What you asked, they are negligible. Follow the more in depth answers above if that's what you were looking for. |
Carshopper:That is not what we said. If that was the case, those if us who take care of our maintenance and are careful filling our tanks would have to change pumps like everyone else- and we don't. Maintained properly, your pump will last even with the fuel here. *MODIFIED FROM ORIGINAL TO MAKE MORE SENSE |
sosidauto:STOP RECOMMENDING UNNECESSARY ENGINE SWAPS. |

Make you no frustrate abeg. Nissans are better cars to me than toyota but cant withstand abuse as Toyotas. I love there sporty styling and interiors. Its stubborn but if u give it what it wants it never spoils
