olaajilaran:I no be doctor oooo!  But from the pictures, that big toe looks like an ingrown toenail while those lesions between the toes looks like athlete foot. If it is, she will need a very minor surgery to correct it. It would appear she walks around barefoot a lot. She needs to stop doing that. Let her get a daily footbath of warm water and disinfectant (Dettol, Izal, etc) or even regular table salt. Let her soak her feet for about 20 to 30 minutes daily and then apply an anti-fungal cream especially between her toes before she goes to bed. There is also this anti-fungal foot powder she can dust on her foot after the footbath. I can't remember the name now but any major pharmacy should stock it. Last last, it would be a great idea to see a doctor sha. Though unless you see a specialist podiatrist, the likelihood is that they will just prescribe some anti-fungal creams and send her on their way. 2 Likes |

Esseite:Obaseki lost that underdog card with some of the actions he has taken since the beginning of his administration. • Swearing-in 10 out of 24 legislators thus barring them from providing the representation for which their people elected them. • Leading a bunch of renegades within the party to remove the national chairman of the party. • Various acts of intimidation perpetrated against state legislators and party men considered loyal to the then national chairman of the party and even the chairman himself. This includes the childish action of parking a fully loaded refuse truck in front of the then national chairman's house. • Banning the then national chairman from visiting Edo State and threatening the national chairman with arrest if he visits Edo State without executive clearance. • Moving state legislators loyal to him (now only 5) to government house and using thugs to vandalize the State House of Assembly building to prevent the 19 other lawmakers from sitting. Do all of the above actions and so many more look to you like the actions of a political underdog?  9 Likes |

How do you engage a shooter who is firing from within a civilian population? Fighting a force that adopts guerilla tactics is not like conventional warfare where you know where your enemy is and you point your guns in that direction and open fire. Troops are bound by all sorts of international conventions even when fighting unconventional enemies like terrorists. If those troops had unleashed fire in the general direction of those gunshots, they probably would have hit more civilians than terrorists...then we would roast them for being so "unprofessional". NORSIYK:She claims she withdrew the case for personal reasons. The accused has rejected her withdrawal and is pushing ahead with the case...she should be happy about that because it gives her an opportunity to go before a court and present facts to prove she was raped, without having it on her conscience that she may have been responsible for destroying somebody. This case eases whatever moral burden or hang-ups she might have. She already has a lawyer and some money was raised for her by the feminist groups that supported her cause so money should not be a problem. D'banj was accused, tried and judged on social media because of a mere statement made by this lady. The guy was the subject of ridicule and condemnation even by those he would normally consider close colleagues, associates and friends who were constrained to denounce him publicly in the harshest of ways. I can just imagine the tension this accusation would have put on his marriage and how much he may have lost in revenue due to this accusation. Apart from his talent and street cred, the only other thing an artiste has is his reputation. This singular accusation negatively impacted all three aspects. I support D'banj following through on this case 100%. I for one will continue to have questions about his personal integrity if he pulls out the case at this time. I feel for the lady and this isn't about exposing her to any punishment but for D'Banj to clear his name and save whatever is left of his dignity. 6 Likes |

Excuses:I feel your pain and your anger. You make numerous assumptions about me. But it might shock you to know I am from the middle belt of Nigeria myself...and I am a Christian. I do not come from a wealthy home either. Thank you for keeping it civil nonetheless. But, communal clashes are numerous across the country and apart from the Boko crisis in the Northeast, none of them has the sort of religious colouration that warrants this skewed narrative of a targeted agenda against Christians anywhere in the country. I doubt the bandits in Zamfara, Benue, Kogi, Plateau and the likes, care if you are an imam, a sheikh, an Ustaz or a devout Christian before they launch their carnage. We have a plethora of persistent internecine conflicts across the country and successive government have failed to curtail them. Beyond these conflicts, we have poverty, hunger and disease claiming many more lives. We unfortunately have a bunch of people that have played up these conflicts, leveraging them for political and possibly, monetary gain. Now the narrative has attracted sanctions which will be felt by everyone...even the "oppressed Christians".Because of the way our system works, the only people that will be immune from the debilitating effects of these sanctions are the very people the sanctions are targeted at...the politicians. But I hope that the sanctions end up stopping the conflicts across the country like you said. God bless Nigeria and ALL Nigerians. . |

If the deputy governor wants to become governor so desperately and he isn't willing to wait until his boss runs his term, then he is right to resign and run on another platform. No one is dragging the title of "national Chairman of APC appointed by court order" with Giadom. He should continue to answer it since he likes it so much. Infact he should add it to his list of titles. He needs to have the entire NWC to make any pronouncements that makes any effect. Can Giadom mention which member of the APC NWC he is running his secretariat with? |

divinehand2003:Sensationalist headline! Going by the news yesterday, the APC is definitely not in disarray. Oshiomole stepped aside in compliance with a court order. The party appointed Ajimobi as acting chairman in line with the party's constitution and going by the natural order of succession. Ajimobi is currently ill and indisposed so when the party NWC met yesterday, they appointed Hilliard Eta to act instead of Ajimobi who is currently indisposed. Mr. Hilliard Eta is thus the party's acting chairman at the moment. Giadom claims he was appointed acting chairman by the courts via a judgement secured in March. Events have since overtaken the circumstances that led to that judgement. Giadom hmself is no longer the deputy secretary of the APC since he resigned his appointment to contest deputy governorship of Cross River state. His resignation was ratified by the NWC at their meeting yesterday so he is no longer in the running for chairmanship. He is a pretender and a spoiler at best. The so-called leadership crisis in the APC only exists on the pages of newspapers, social media and in the minds of mischief makers. 1 Like |

Trailblazer1:Obaseki was a willing beneficiary of godfatherism. Obaseki is an aspiring godfather himself. Every Nigerian politician has one or more patrons AKA "godfather". If you dismantle one God father's structure, 2 will rise in its place. As long as our electoral system remains the way it is currently, there will always be godfathers AKA Baba Isale. If you don't want godfather wahala, run on your own independent platform and see how far you can go. Neither Oshiomole nor Obaseki are fighting for any altruistic reason; they are both fighting for their pockets. When the going was good, they did not involve the masses. Now they are fighting, one is claiming to be fighting for the masses? Na lie! Nigerian politics is a jungle. The only people that should carry it on their head are the politicians themselves and anyone benefitting from the aberration that is our political system. Is there a chance that he could be uninterested in the topics you want to talk about? This are some of the questions you need to figure out answers to. If you discover he is chatty and open when he is with others, then listen in on such conversations and decipher what topics interest him. If you notice however that he is equally reserved and non-conversational when with others, then maybe that is just how he is wired. You probably should have a candid conversation about the situation since it bothers you so much. But please don't go sharing your thoughts on whether he is smart or not with him. Such a statement will definitely end in tears one way or another. For someone who passed with good grades, smartness is definitely not the issue. You might also be shocked that he considers you talkative.  You guys have only dated for six months. Be patient with each other. |

He doesnt even have the right to kill the woman either. The only right he has is to divorce his wife. If he kills or even harms the man or woman, he will face charges and do time in prison. In the case of death, a good lawyer can get him a manslaughter rap on the plea of extreme provocation....note that I said a GOOD LAWYER. Best bet for the man is to thank God his wife's infidelity has been exposed. He can get a divorce or decide to settle with her. |

If the only reason the man wants her to quit the job is to massage his ego, then he is not a wise man. He is insecure and a very dangerous man to have as a husband. If I were the woman, I would not proceed with the marriage...even if he eventually concedes to letting her stay in Lagos. His request has exposed a critical flaw in his character that could play out in so many ways if she decides to go ahead with the marriage. 1 Like |
