kenis: How can you expect a ' mechanic' to do a quick fix on car that has been abused and rough-handled by different drivers and mechanics, who had altered with the parts, and wickedly choosed to drive in gutters and farm lands; and expect the car not break down.The mechanic is a product of a workshop ( PDP ), that have produced and tried different technicians in fixing the car( OBJ, YARADUA and GEJ ), but have made the condition of the car ( NIGERIA ) worse. They have had 13 years to fix this car but it only gets worse. Fashola is right. We need to try a different workshop ( political party ) which hopeully will have better trained and skilled mechanics. 5 Likes |

Most of the people you are replying don't know what the are talking about.What they fail to understand is that there will always be a market for BB phones. Yes, samsung, nokia , iphone have taken nearly 80% of the market share, but I can assure you, this BB10 OS is very good. Based on test carried out so far, it has the fastest browsing speed compared to any smart phone ever. BB still offers the most secured platform for official documents and I can safely say this phone will sell. I have the S3 and borrowed lumina 920 (the best phones on theplanet right now) for a few days and with what I ve seen and read, this new BB matches up to them. Men are willing to wait but most ladies in our society today really have nothing to offer apart from sex. Very few didnt fall into this category. So, a young man that is willing to wait starts spending money and time and still the girl has the sole right to dump him whenever the alpha male comes along. The same girl that gave these conditions gets into bed in a few weeks with this man. Most young guys are now aware of this reality, so when they have the girl, the only compesation, for the money and time spent after she dumps him or vise versa is that, her most important assest S3X was given to him while they were together. The moment our ladies dont put the guys under any kind of financial obligation ( credits, phones, money etc ), then, the men may actually be willing to stick to their no sex policy. 3 Likes |

I am suprised that a lot of people have not met practising engineers that is why it is so easy for them to say technicians in Nigeria can do engineering work. I can not talk of the manufacturing area but for telecoms, construction and oil and gas, Nigerian engineers are doing wonders. It will be difficult to convince anonymous folks that believe road side mechanics and electricians ( ''rewires '' ) are better than the real engineers. Go to engineering close, a lot of designs are being done by Nigerian engineers ( both green field and brown field ) And I can confidently say our engineers planned and implemented the roll out and expansion for all the major telecoms operators in Nigeria. ENGINEERING IS NOT CAR REPAIR, REFRIDGERATOR REPAIR, AC REPAIR, HOUSE WIRING OR BOREHOLE DRILLING. It entails much more..... |

Engineers and technicians play different roles. A good engineer should be able to do and deliver properly the technical aspect of engineering jobs. A good technician may not necessarily know/understand the engineering principles behind what they do. Engineers come up with designs, carry out research, in some instances, develop releveant sofwares, etc. Technicians are needed only for implemetation of what engineers have come up with. A lot our engineers in Nigeria today are basically technicias because or university system is not research driven. Our engineers most times only implement, hence the reason technicians can do their jobs in Nigeria. In a few instances, we have engineers that do real engineering work. A few can be found in our oil and gas and telecoms sector. 5 Likes |

The questionable inclusions on the list are: Dani Alves Gerrad Pique and Marcelo Every player in the other positions are the best in that position for 2012. Are we saying RVP is better than Falcao in 2012? I don't think so. Are we saying Pirlo is better than Iniesta or Xavi. Pirlo had a great season last year but unfortunately the guys selected are better. I think Chelini in Juventus should replace Pique Lahm for Dani Alves and Ashley Cole for Marcelo. FIFA did not pick the players on the team, coaches and team captians all around the world did. There was no meeting of these people at any point. Not all good players will make the list.
