why she dey chop him money, she would have gotten a job and take care of her child but if the baby father ain't doing anything, and d new guy is offering help, why won't she offer sex as compensation, what else does she have as a weapon against him. If truly d love is true then sex wouldn't have been issue. The truth is that Love is unconditional and very very patient.
The problem is, fransiscabless thinks this guy loves her, we all know he doesn't. He only decided to date a single mom because he thinks she is loose and will give in to sex easily. She is unaware of that fact.
If he is looking for an arrangement of convenience, he should have been upfront about it.
This deception will only hurt this lady at the end of the day.

You are right, she didn't have standards, neither did she respect herself. But I'm hoping she would wake up and smell the coffee.

Am a single of mother of one , my baby is 1 year and 3 months , am in a new relationship with my new boyfriend who is not her father. We only start dating 2 months ago I love him so much , he also love me and my baby ,he is already asking me for sex. Am ready but am not sure if I should give to him with protection or I should wait a little bit more maybe 6 months , please I need advice should I give to him or wait a lot bit more?
Don't say yes to every man who asks you out.
Don't agree to sex with everyone who asks you.
Don't have sex with your boyfriend immediately he asks.
Once a man starts pestering you for sex, he is planning to chop and go. It means you are not valuable in his eyes, it means you are only valuable for sex to him.
You need to work on setting your life straight, don't expect a man to do that for you.
Have some standards Madam.

exactly! Men who just want to Bleep and not ready to settle day am just waiting for that man because I know is out there and am not giving up
Spend your energy on getting skills and making money.
Any man who asks you out, never go to his place, meet him in public, don't have sex (in fact, you will weed out a lot of players with this method)
Sooner than later, you will strike gold.

Good evening everyone. I don't know were to start from, what I'm passing through now is too long for me to write them all here. I don't know what is wrong with me, I have failed in practically everything I have lay my hands on. I failed academically, I try my hands on employment, I didn't last more than 2 months in any of the places I was employed. I tried my hands on handiwork. No money to start mine. Because I'm from a poor family. My parents are dead. I tried my hands on Yahoo Yahoo for good 3 years one single Kobo I didn't get from it. I have done all sorts of manure works to survive. Is this how I'm going to continue. I'm 30 years old. I haven't achieve one single thing in life I can be pride of. I once thought my problems were spiritual I went to several native doctors and prophets. They all took my money and yet nothing works. I'm tired of life and I don't know what else to do. How can I get out this?
Pleased i need the advice of everyone

What of the lady you got pregnant HERE?

I don’t know when ladies would realise that love is not enough. Especially when dealing with community pricks.

Lesson to the ladies, don't step on another woman to become 'Mrs'

Toks2008:
Have you ever heard these words from ladies?, "I know John truly wants me but i dont have any feelings for him but i have strong feelings for Jude yet he is treating me like trash"

Ladies are ruled by their feelings but unfortunately, many ladies have been sent to their early graves cos of this same feelings and many are down with mental illness and some are even locked up in psychiatry all in the name of feelings.

Now understand this; your feelings are very important but you also have the power to control it. Not every man who approaches you for romance really desires you and not every man who proposes marriage really wants you for the right reason so you need to really have a strong grip on your feelings and the first step to achieving this is to be self-sufficient in all ramifications to avoid hinging your feelings on the material things the guy can offer but rather on his true intent which is expressed in how he treats you.

Every lady has Phronesis(A type of wisdom or intelligence) that enables her know if a man sincerely wants her but she usually develops feelings for another who will most likely treat her like trash.

Your feelings can destroy you if channeled towards the wrong person so no matter how attractive that guy may look, no matter how sweet and smooth he sounds, no matter the material things he showers on you, no matter how good he is in bed, as vital as these qualities are, please always press the pause button on your feelings and observe him carefully for the right attributes. Yes people do change but a man who truly desires you will most likely always desire you regardless.

The movie Beauty and the beast is more than a fiction...one secret ladies don't know is that they can develop feelings for any guy who truly desires them and treats them like a queen even if that guy is totally opposite of what they want in terms of physical looks...this is a mystery... so put your feelings on hold and observe keenly then give your feelings to a guy that is deserving of it.

I know this is extremely difficult for many ladies but it is the only way you can reduce the possibility of ending up in the wrong hands.

Hope this makes sense.
I love this one. Hope you have a blog.

E gbodo je omo agba lati pa iru owe yen. I hope you get that. I am not quite skilled in the art of using those amis. grin. You need to understand that our adages are time-conscious. grin. They worked in those days, but that's not to say they will work now. Our adages may need evolution. grin. I will take your last sentence though. Do what's best for you. It actually contradicts the adage. What if it's his character regardless of his financial status?
I get the contradiction, but, I used the adage as a cautionary statement, not as something to follow without question.
Decisions like this are best made by the lovers, we the third party can only advise.

Go to romance section, there is a guy claiming to have had sex with 18 married women, women are not the only evil ones here, the truth is: the family as a unit is under attack from the devil and he is using every willing tool to perpetrate his evil, the goal is to corrupt as many people as possible and make children lose faith in love and marriage.

I beg to differ on numb2,3&4
Weather she gets the "grin" sooner or later, if the fella is a player she will get the heart break

Slong as he has a job/bizness Wich u contribute idea-wise to,there is nothing wrong in financially helping him.its only a spineless man that will sleep well knowing he is owing his wife.(in other words,if he doesn't show urgency to pay u back or actually does, don't ever give him again)

Good, bad, wise, stingy, etc ,if a guy wants to play you,he will.unless u Neva open ur heart to him.it strts wit TRUST & ends with it.cos even the wise, bad, stingy, etc have to let thier gaurd down if they Eva want to find a life patner
You have your point, but the rule is to never lose guard, once you're not ready to settle down.
So, any lady who wants to settle down should look for the right signs, else, she'll most likely get played.

Hi guys i just joined NL and from what have been reading on here bfor i sign up i feel i might get a response from nairalanders

Am a lady that believes in building with a man and not looking for an already made guys am also an independent lady so i dont really need your money,i work for what i spend, Atimes i end up giving out of the little i earn to my partner, now this is the sad part these guys take me for a fool some just start acting up like some1 with psychosis{apologies} but it the truth well i just broke up with my boyfriend cause i cant deal with his bullshit anymore. now my question is
1. IS IT BAD FOR ME TO SHOW YOU I LOVE YOU?
2. IS IT A SIN FOR ME TO WANT TO BE INVOLVE IN YOUR LIFE{I BELIEVE WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THERE FOR EACHOTHER}?
3.IS ASKING FOR A LITTLE TRANSPARENCY A SIN?
4.WHY DO GOOD GIRLS HAVE BADLUCK WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING A GUY?

APOLOGIES FOR THE LONG POST.
1. Never show a guy you love him. Watch out for signs that he loves you before you respond, if there are no signs, my dear, gbe body e.
2. Getting close to a guy takes time, most times, guys are more comfortable giving you the D than letting you near their hearts. Once you fall for the D, you are most likely never getting the heart.
3. Never be the provider. Males are mostly raised to be the provider, to derive happiness from making their women smile, a lot of them feel fulfilled once they can foot the expenses of their loved ones, don't take over his job.
4. Good girls in your context here are the girls I call foolish (no offense intended). They do not have bad luck, they got played.
What you can do
1. Start over. This guy has already seen you finish. You probably gave him sex like you're his wife, no guy will respect such a girl. So, end this relationship and find someone else to turn over a new leaf with.
2. Apply the previous points with the new guy and lock up your v^gina. If he leaves, let him go.

NAIJAHITPLAY:
If you divorce your wife, you must forfeit your house to her, see the new court rules in Nigeria

A woman that has children for her husband and had married him before a house is built has the right to live in the house with her children even after divorce under the provisions of the Married Woman Property Act 1882, a court held on Friday in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The belief that patriarchy is so entrenched in the Nigerian system and women have no rights even under the law has been proved to be an erroneous one, majorly propounded by those ignorant of the rights provided under the law, the court said in a landmark judgement.

The provisions of the *Married Woman Property Act 1882* formed the basis of the pronouncement of the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola, on Friday in a property suit between a divorced couple, Toyin Arajulu, formerly known as Mrs Toyin James and her former husband, Mr James Monday.

The court held that *“a husband who marries a wife and builds a house during the pendency of the marriage stands the risk of losing that house if he later divorces the woman who had children for him unless such woman, of her own volition, leaves the matrimonial home.”*
