Very good question.
Beauty queens and other very beautiful ladies have successfully passed through universities and polytechnics without any lecturer not having as much as tap them on their shoulder or touch their hairs,talkless of seeing them unclothed.
At worst some of these girls come out with a third class,many have their upper and lower second class degrees.
So when a lady comes out to say a lecturer is pestering her for sex,yes,it does happen,but what is she doing or not doing academically that makes it to happen?
In these days of social media and advanced recording devices,it takes a lecturer a lot of guts and confidence the girl is in no position to resist,especially academically,for a lecturer to take the risk of insisting on sexual favours,for you to pass his course.
If you are just even average academically or sure of yourself,get chats and meetings recorded,then threaten him with it.
No gang up by other lecturers can save such a Randy lecturer if u know your onions academically.Infact,it would reach a point where others will ostracize him when they see what is about to befall him.
So those saying she would be victimised don't know the power of social media exposure.But if she is poor academically and know she can't meet up and is loose morally or sexually,she has found herself in a difficult situation.

Ventolin for example is readily available in the market,tablet and inhaler,so what is the doctor talking about not seeing ventolin to get?
Other critical drugs are readily available in pharmacies,so GSK divesting or stopping supply of critical drugs cannot be a threatening health challenge.

Not politicising the issue yet he also informed his own opinion.Why doesn't he say all contending lawyers should wait for the SC interpretation on that issue.
Even if SC sides with Tinubu,as it usually does for any sitting president,no matter the merit of any electoral case against the incumbent,by twisting and interpreting the FCT 25% issue in his favour,commonsense should tell anyone that the framers of the 25% FCT requirement meant for it that the FCT be treated as a separate,distinct entity,representing the unity and diversity of Nigeria where all Nigerians of all tribes,religious and cultural affiliations reside,unlike states.
So what the framers had in mind is that a president so declared must be able to appeal to a percentage of that diversity that the FCT represents,that is why they left it at that low percentage minimum of just 25%.
You just have to use commonsense to know what those that drafted the constitution wanted.Interpreting it otherwise is just being mischievous or politically correct for the president declared.

Lol. I know they themselves (BATists) will light the match that will set Nigeria ablaze. They are in power, yet chose the worst of candidates and divisive campaign strategy. They were declared winners yet still running amok on social media. All because of the ambition of one man. We are at the precipice as a nation.

Unless there is a magical solution that causes appeasement that would be acceptable to the 2 contending litigants if Tinubu prevails at the SC (which I think he would)I sense a situation where his presidential reign would be turbulent, acrimonious and divisive.
I hate to believe that a president can be more divisive than Buhari who I think was the epitome of national divisiveness,but if Tinubu does not pull out a near magical feat that satisfies majority of the opposition,this maybe the case.
The likes of ffk and Keyamo are even coalescing the online opposition voices,even to extreme positions.
Just like FFK rightly pointed out,the warriors may be building trenches and they finish and get dug in those trenches,they maybe difficult not only to dislodge but appease.

O,I love this.
This is what I have been advocating all along that Peter obi should do,continue being active and be a vibrant opposition voice to the APC;rather than go into oblivion till the next general elections.
If Obi continues engaging labour party candidates and elected members throughout the country and offering alternate policy choices to government policies,even if he loses at the SC,I can bet anyone LP would be a very vibrant and formidable party going forward.

So much trash in one news report.
Anytime I see a news report with People's Gazette or Sahara Reporters as source,I know it's going to be one ogogoro joint gist.
These glorified blogs should stop sourcing their reports from drunken men at motor parks and dirty looking rooms and do basic journalism of asking questions and verifying sources.
The internet has made it quite easy to verify stories and sources,but yet laziness and sheer mischief won't allow the individuals that run PG and SR to exercise their brains a bit.
The same discredited media(PG and SR)that reported that Tinubu is very sick and travelling for medical reasons are now the ones reporting he is secretly meeting the CJ.
So he would be meeting the CJ on his sickbed in the hospital? Annoying clowns!
I won't be surprised that tomorrow it is now found out the CJ is chilling in his house in Abuja and playing squash or golf.

The only thing it would bring is another round of looting.
It's not in the DNA of a Delta governor to develop that state,all they see is that God has chosen them to be the next extremely wealthy and powerful Delta governor so they loot and settle their cronies.
A Delta governor that is deemed a failure is that who primarily didn't uplift people financially through distribution of oil allocation money.Physical performance and building of structures are secondary values of rating because no Delta State governor is interested in building anything.
That James Ibori is rated higher than others since 1999 is because he shared the funds well,he left no legacy of proven performance nor did he develop the state infrastructural wise,at least not to the extent that would show the enormous oil revenue that accrued to it.

Obi was like an independent candidate.
It's his personality,service while in office, antecedents,ability on the job,integrity and relatively corruption immune compared to the other major candidates that Nigerians identified and voted for.
Why that is still difficult to understand should baffle anyone with commonsense.
APC and PDP where lucky that Nigerian elections don't all hold in one day,if it had,the Obi effect would have caused a tsunami in states assemblies and flipped far more governorship seats than just the 1 labour party has.
Even if you are a Peter Gregory Obi hater,you must commend and celebrate the phenomenon that he has become in Nigeria's politics and this is a man that is going no where and is gradually building up a political trajectory: governor 2 terms,VP candidate,now as presidential candidate has turned out to be the most impactful new presidential candidate of any Nigerian election ever

But why stop at picketing only CBN offices?
Businesses are almost paralyzed so going on nationwide strike asides having immediate impact makes little difference to the economy the cattle herder and that fraud of a CBN governor has put the nation in.
Several billions of people's funds are hanging on bank networks that can't cope with the onslaught of online transactions.
The pos banks like palmpay,opay,Kuda etc that used to be the saving grace are now also experiencing transaction failures as customers migrate to their platforms.
Someone went to the bank as early as 4am some days ago,was number 85!At the end could only withdraw 5k.When he went again the next day at another there was no cash.The person that reached to 7am,was number 112,couldn't collect any cash throughout the day!!
If Emefiele is an economist and schooled in Nigeria,our educational system has questions to answer.If he schooled abroad at any point,the schools should withdraw all his certificates.He is a glorified dunce!!!

Assuming your stone aged method is re-adopted,then it makes it quite easy for riggers through bribing of voters and voter intimidation to win votes because you can't hide who you voted for.

If INEC later announces this same padded results that so called SR claims it's sources are telling it has been rejected,same SR will fabricate another one that 'after the padded results were rejected,Yakubu or outgoing Abia governor gave Yakubu ₦2billion to have it accepted'.
The point is SR has no INEC source that told it anything,it just fabricated this report based on gossips or it's view of the reason the INEC returning officer refused announcing the results.

That has been the practice in Nigeria. Maybe they will have to relax that rule to enable one of LP's new members
assume the seat since they are majority.

You are just confusing yourself.
To help you make sense of your confusion,let me ask you a question that should guide you:
so if all members of the majority party are new members(as maybe the case with these elected LP men),so the speakership would then go to an elected member of the PDP that are a minority party,simply because he has spent several years in the state assembly?
If your answer to the question is yes,then I give up on you,there is no need arguing with you anymore!

This is the way Tinubu started with Action Congress or so.His was even less impactful because he only had Lagos State and he used all tools at his disposal to stick to the state,before Osun later and a few other SW states they got through the instrument of debatable appeal court decisions.
But see LP asides looking like winning Abia and Enugu gubers,it has a formidable national senate and HOR presence and gradually flipping south east assemblies.
1 or 2 more election cycles and it would be a much stronger political force.
When Imo and Anambra Guber elections come around,just watch the calibre of formidable aspirants that would be vying for the LP ticket.

I have just carefully gone through this Peter Obi’s election petition and I have come to the conclusion that Peter Obi is the most dangerous man in this country called Nigeria.

Not only is he challenging the fraud for an election, but he is putting the entire country on trial for allowing a drug baron qualify to run and thereafter proceeded to rig the election.

Tinubu has for the longest refused to address his drug past and because of that, he refused to attend unscripted interviews and INEC and the Nigerian courts refused to disqualify him even when it was obvious that he has a drug past. The storm is now gathering!

Fast forward to “GO TO COURT”.. Peter Obi has now placed Tinubu’s drug records front and center of his petition by front loading the certified true copies of his drug related asset forfeiture as required by the evidence act and stating that Tinubu ought not to have been qualified to stand for the election.

The twist is that since PO is not the author of the said document, someone from the US justice department must be subpoenaed to be led in evidence to present the document in court and I am 1000% sure that the US department of Justice has assured PO’s lawyers that with a subpoena, they will fly in DEA special Agent Moss to come authenticate the Tinubu’s drug related forfeiture court documents.

Perhaps Nigeria is about to be jolted on an international level embarrassment that will be beamed worldwide. This was avoidable if Nigerian courts had done the needful by disqualifying Tinubu!

APC members of this forum should get ready to watch the DEA special agent Moss who arrested Tinubu testify in the tribunal about Tinubu’s drug past and we will assess how the criminal minded Nigerian judges will surmount that embarrassment and still rule that Tinubu is qualified.

Brace up for impact folks!

This your view is upside down and embarrassing to read.
The majority party always produces the speaker,even if they are all 18 year olds and the other party have 60 and 70 year olds.
The scenario you are painting,which is not even a law or statute in houses of assembly is where there are old and new members in the majority party;precedent dictates no new member can be nominated and thus elected for speakership.
We should try and get educated properly on issues atimes before running to post.

I don't know if I missed the news,but there seems to be no single result or even news of what the issue is that as at this time today,I haven't seen,read or heard any house of assembly talkless of the gubernatorial results in Rivers State.
If my assertion is true,it could be either of these things:Wike is cooking something sinister,as usual and the opposition using federal might is resisting whatever results he is cooking.
The converse could also be the case,the ruling party using it's parties is cooking something that is not favouring the Wike led PDP in that state and Wike is resisting it using the same means and strategy he has always deployed,thuggery,brigandage,disruption of the process and mayhem.
May God help Rivers State because right from 2003,that state has been the headquarters of barefaced election rigging,thuggery and sheer mayhem on an inhuman scale!
