Funny thread. cheesy
In truth, most newbies sound like m0rons and its just best to keep them at arm's length. cool

If you are a newbie who is smart and intelligent though, you'll earn your place amongst oldies without trying. There are a few who have. Don't sweat it.

Christianity EtcRe: Bible Was Untouched By Flames After Road Accident In Abuja by slimyem: 12:14pm On Jul 28, 2013
Jeremiah noted that the Bible was later recovered from
the ashes of the burnt car while it was not scathed by
the inferno, disclosing that many people had been
coming to Christ Victory Life Church in the city to see
the Bible and use it to pray over their problems.
don't you just love my people? cheesy
Watch them turn the bible into an idol.

naijababe: I remember that i bought it and watched till the tape got twisted! Best scene, when Bimbo got him to see the 'light'.

Did u watch out of bounds? I swear Bimbo is legend in her own right!!!
I think I saw "out of bounds" but can't remember the plot.
naijababe: Really? I didn't know o. Some parts reminded me of Owo Blow, Tade Ogidan is tha bomb
Yeah. He did. Maybe we could have had other movies that had substance like Eeku Ida. It was the producer's first.
Owo blow was good but Taiwo Hassan doesn't qualify as someone I'll tag a fine actor so I'm not rating it.

Btw, there is "Mama mi Leko" and "Iru Esin" too. They count.

naijababe: Did anyone see Eeku Ida starring Saheed Balogun, Enebeli Elebuwa and Lizzy Benson?! That was one hell of a movie
I felt so bad to learn that the producer of that movie died shortly after it was released. Fantastic movie. The plot, the acts, Everything!
Grace Amah starred in it too.

Christmasdon: If u really want to watch film and call it film go watch "state Of Emergency" watch also "Executive Crime."
I watched both then.

There was also this movie with hanks Anuku and Genevieve. He was a cameraman who shot a video of politicians commiting murder and they went after him when they found out he knew. Can't remember its title too but it was a good movie

naijababe: The gardener starring Tunde Obe before he got fat, that guy was hot back in the day. Mainframe movies.....hmmmm... Mr Kelani is yet to produce anything better than Ti Oluwa Nile in my books
yes o @ the gardener. Tunde was hot then. So was Bimbo Akintola. The movie was a cluster of fine thespians. Sola Sobowale, Fred Amata, Sam Loco, Bukky Ajayi, the old Mama Ajasco and Patrick Doyle too. cool

All Mainframe movies except the recent "Maami" count as classic to me still.

FamilyRe: Married Men...ur Views Pls by slimyem: 5:04am On Jul 27, 2013
Chillisauce: Most of these men dont do ot because of the women. Imagine a market woman selling these things asking the man what his wife is doing that he had to come himself. Or a scenerio where they will even ask them ti go marry. The society thinking needs to be brought down with bulldozer and rebuilt
I'm not sure market women ask those questions and even if they do, so what?
Can't you just ignore or move on to the next market woman who is less chatty?

I feel sorry for your friend already even without knowing her. undecided
Picking groceries/ soup ingredients for food that he's going to eat in make him less of a man ke?
If a man can't help his wife do these kinda basic stuff, who would he help?
Even without asking him to, he should know to pick up stuff he thinks his wife might need if he passes by them on his way home.
All the real men I know do all these things and more for their wives and their d1cks remain in their pants still! cool
FamilyRe: I'm Fed Up by slimyem: 4:38am On Jul 27, 2013
Its been going on for years and since you've had several discussions and arguments over the issue so reasoning with him seems out of the question for now.

Running away is hardly the solution if the problem is just the two things on your list.
Isn't there a way he could get inside the house himself without you having to open the door for him?
Can you wear ear plug or muff so his rummaging doesn't disturb you during the night?

This man is definitely in a place where you can't reach him. What does he really do? What makes him stay out till that late?
FamilyRe: Rise Of The Feminist Wedding by slimyem: 9:09pm On Jul 26, 2013
How far are feminists really going to go to prove their points?
How long is it going to take them to realize they can't win this feminism war?
Don't y'all get tired of trying to define and defend feminism? Till tomorrow comes, what feminists seek to establish can never be fully realized in Nigeria, Africa and the world over. The place of a woman will always be different somehow. Sad reality!!
I am female but in my next life, I'm coming back with a d1ck!! -a big fat one too. cool
RomanceRe: Ladies, Will You Consider His Surname Before Saying "Yes"? by slimyem: 2:09pm On Jul 26, 2013

FamilyRe: Advice Needed by slimyem: 1:28pm On Jul 26, 2013
My aunt and her husband had an agreement that she and her kids won't bear his muslim family name as surname when they are married. He agreed.
She chose the man's first name as her own surname and did the same for her first child. Her husband went to the school and told the authorities to revert the name to that same muslim family name. He's done the same for the second child too.
Now,my aunt is on her own. She's the only one bearing a different name from the rest of the family. She was lamenting to me the other day about the agreement and I was just laughing at her. She said, Yemi, "won ti fi ajulo han mi o ko de si nnkan ti mo le se" (He has shown me who has more authority and there's nothing I can do) cheesy

There is nothing more likely to start disagreement among people in marriages than an agreement. When the tide changes like in this case, someone has to compromise for peace to reign as long as its not a life or death situation. Unless
both sides win, no agreement can be permanent.

Reality is the real agreement people arrive to that makes live livable. cool
