Failure44: I'm in pains and so annoyed. I can't even boast of 10k in my account, I'm crippled with debts on loan apps This ASUU strike has only made my life worse. The useless man I call a father that earns half a million monthly, spends It on drinking. I vow to make that man suffer at old age and to bury him in a shallow grave. What did I do in my past life to be born into a broken home? Where both parents are like cat and dog. While my mates were learning yahoo, I was reading like a fool preparing for school. Now I have secured the so called medicine but am suffering in silence while they're buying cars.
Do you know how painful it is to see the same people you were with now buying cars and using the latest phone? How painful it is to see them spraying money in the club while you're borrowing money from loan apps? How painful it is too them those you helped now snub your messages?
Now I understand why people commit suicide
Get your dusty, entitled ass up and start looking for money legitimately. Or continue to rant there and borrowing money up and down.
Mayemavins: I have been seriously contemplating, she Aborted my pregnancy after we both went to hospital confirmed it and we both agreed to keep the baby.
Moreover I really need the child, she connived with her sister and they Aborted it. I'm thinking to go the Police station to make a report and arresther!!
Pls should I? Many more things surrounded that Pregnancy. I really need a child.
my new baby is being affected by jaundice, and all home remedies i've tried didn't work.
i've gone to the hospital to see a doctor, he said i should be placing him under the early morning sun for about 15 minutes daily, but it's not working either.
please i need help on how to cure and get rid of it so my baby can feel better.
whatever suggestion you give will be useful and will go along way, thanks.
Please my baby needs help. Help me to frontpage so i can get help in treating my baby. Thanks
Oga, first. If you have any yellow colored bedsheet or cloth close to you baby, REMOVE THEM FAST. You might think it is a myth but it worsens jaundice terribly.
Please take it seriously.
Second, why is your baby not on admission? Children with jaundice are usually placed on drips and monitored round the clock. Take your baby to a hospital and insist that they should admit her.
Just picture it as palm oil rice that looks like jolof rice but very different in taste, traceable to the Edoid tribes in Delta (Urhobo and Isoko). It is an easy, refreshing change to your palette that your taste buds will surely thank you for.
INGREDIENTS:
700g (1 De Rica or 4 cups) long grain parboiled rice. 400g palm fruit extract, canned or made from scratch Beef Stock 2 medium smoked fish – deboned and broken into small pieces Orunbebe stick (optional) 1 red onion – chopped 1 tsp banga spices 1 tbsp crayfish (optional) 1 tbsp ground cayenne pepper 2 seasoning cubes Salt (to taste) Dry or fresh habanero pepper (atarodo) (to taste) – diced Scent leaves (to taste) – rinsed
HOW TO PREPARE:
Wash out the starch in your rice with hot water. Drain, pour cold water over it. Drain again and set aside.
Mix the banga concentrate in a pot of hot water so that all the sand and particles can sink to the bottom.
Decant slowly into another pot for cooking your rice. Make sure no sand transfers to the new pot.
Add beef stock if you have, onion, banga spices, orunbebe stick, smoked fish, crayfish, crushed seasoning cubes, salt and pepper to your taste.
Make sure the liquid is enough to cook the rice you need. Reduce the heat, cover and leave to boil.
Add the washed rice and cook on low heat until it softens. Then turn up the heat and let it boil.
When the rice has absorbed almost all the liquid, stir with a wooden spoon and lower the heat. Add your shredded scent leaves.
If the rice is still too hard, seal the rice in with foil paper or a plastic bag and cover the pot for a few minutes until the rice is properly cooked and has absorbed all the water.
Stir properly and take off the heat.
Serve hot or sprinkle a little banga soup on top if you have any.
You view is noted and respected. It's not a bad thing at all if you don't like beans or even sushi because everyone must not like the same type of food equally, that's why variety exists. If this meal doesn't cut it for you, it's perfectly fine.
You may want to have a look at my channel, surely there is something you will like there. Link below:
Woow. I'm so trying that Vegetable Gravy next. It looks really good and I know it will be tasty.
I never knew cakes can be made with a toaster (just like toasted bread). I'm just seeing it and would definitely do it when I start eating sugar again.
I love your page (no jokes) and I've subscribed.
Welldone for taking this bold step and I wish you all the best.
Cantonese: “ The doctor at the Royal Free in Camden became suspicious about whether the alleged victim was aware he was the donor of the kidney and whether he was 41 as his passport claimed.
The 15-year-old was given the passport of a 41-year-old in order to get into the UK, but did not know he was there to donate a kidney until he went a hospital appointment in London, a court heard yesterday”.
Very poor story.
Immigration officials both in Nigeria on exit and the UK on arrival would have stopped him, with a passport containing an age far older than his appearance. Immigration in Nigeria usually troubles first time traveling youths with fresh passports. If he went with Ekwerenmadu’s team, he would have escaped Nigeria, but stopped at the UK airport. How did he beat immigration on both sides.
The boy’s story makes it easy for us to understand. He claimed that he was offered a job. One would ask how someone he never met before offered him a job in England. Was there no offer made to him for a particular assignment? Surely that would be difficult to believe. He stayed in the man’s mansion in Abuja and enjoyed great food and drinks, according to him. What was he doing in a man’s house, who was not related to him and gave him such great life and offer.
I think the boy was offered the assignment by an Ekwerenmadu contact. He accepted it, looking at the amount of money available. If the court of Justice Ekwo allows it, then we can see the boy’s account details. Ekwerenmadu would not have been stupid enough to give him money in cash. That would be an evidence of some form of transaction between them.
The UK doctor helped the boy when he told him about the disadvantages of loosing one kidney. That made the boy change his mind. They called in the police and the boy saw his opportunity to remain in the UK.
Hopefully the courts, with evidences presented, would clarify this issue that the UK police, in a hurry to go to court, did not sort out.
"He was given a passport for a 41-year-old. The passport was illegally obtained by these defendants"
I appreciate your feedback, whether likeful or hateful. It is not expected that everyone will like every type of meal equally. But letting go of inhibitions and being open to new ideas is one way to embrace changes. I can bet you will never eat raw fish (sushi), but whether you like it or not, it's a great delicacy in far East countries like Japan.
Cooking is an art, open your eyes to new possibilities dear.
I'm guessing you're the poster. So, I'll reply just once.
Ahead, Cooking is an art, you say. But I'm of the opinion that presentation matters. The "sushi" you made mention of has to be prepared a certain way, and presented in an appealing manner for it to be appreciated.
I'm afraid, your food doesn't appeal to me, just the way avocado pear doesn't appeal to me. It is nothing personal, it's me, my opinion.
For me to appreciate any form of art, it has to meet certain requirements, and I'm sorry, yours doesn't cut it for me. Just the way I understand others may not like my food, and that's perfectly fine.
If you cook a meal that I appreciate tomorrow, I'll be the first to praise you.
Shalommy: That kinda food will make one sleep in the toilet. You don't know how to cook jare.. Chaii
I was going to say that but I didn't want to come off as hateful. I can't eat her food. I do not know how to cook much either but I've seen photos of what some guys here are doing. I saw their food ehn, and the food looked so good that I started eating so much food in real life. My appetite increased like mad. Those guys know how to throw it down in the kitchen.
BeeBeeOoh: Only God knows what Lagos commercial bus drivers take every morning before taking over the wheel's
I tell you. I left my house for the Mainland at 5am today. I was just praying to God to lead me safely because the driver was like a daredevil. I wonder how pregnant women manage to survive their driving.
These drivers are something else. I'm back home nursing the craziest headache ever.
Juliearth: It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas and I cannot help but thank God for his mercies and the gift of life. In the spirit of Christmas, I will be sharing with you guys my Christmas recipe. Today, the 24th of December, the itinerary is to bake, fry and grill. It just occurred to me to create this thread, so pardonné moi, the preparatory part of the bake-fry-grill routine won't be covered in this thread. I will however share the end result with you.
Cc MissyB3 tjskii Lalastica, Snake meat pepper soup go dey oh
I don't need to taste your food before I know you can cook! Girl! You can cook! I'm so hungry! The appearance of the food alone. Omoest omo!
Mariangeles: Fruits are very important, and should be an integral part of our diet because they contain antioxidants which are essential for human health. Antioxidants mop up free radicals in the body that can damage the body’s cells and lead to diseases, such as cancer.
According to Medical News Today Eating a diet high in fruits (and vegetables) can reduce a person’s risk of developing heart disease, cancer, inflammation, and diabetes.
Citrus fruits (like oranges, lemon, grape fruit, lime...) and berries (like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas) may be especially powerful for preventing disease.
Did you know that Oranges also contain high levels of pectin, which is a fiber that can keep the colon healthy by binding to chemicals that can cause cancer and removing them from the colon?
I read a guy's comment that said he could never buy oranges, mangoes, red apples...with his money, and the comment left me wondering what fruit do you like then? I mean, what more options are there? and that comment led me to create this thread, so that those who don't know, can know the importance of eating fruits.
So guys, what is your favourite fruit? What is/are the fruit(s) you can't tolerate?
For me, I like variety of fruits, but sweet oranges are my favourite. I cannot stand cashew! Urgh! I'm allergic. As for pineapples...let's just say my mouth let's me know when it's had enough.
Nairalanders, what is your favourite fruit?
Seeing makes me realize that I do not have a favorite.
Ekweremadu, Wife Denied Bail by UK Magistrate’s Court
ARISE International correspondent, Adefemi Akinsanya reports on the arrest of Nigerian Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife by the UK police for allegedly taking and underaged boy to the UK for organ harvesting. The Ekweremadu's have currently been denied bail as investigations into their role in the case unfolds.
Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. - Exodus 22:22.
an0daGuy: Chai poor girl. So won’t she get another donor over there? What of here? Will she now die? Just like that?
You useless politicians and their stooges. Apc and pdp and nnpp and labor etc all of you and your card carrying members are failures. Nigerian democracy don’t give a damn about healthcare. No funding, poor/late pension payments, strikes etc. year after year after year.
People dying
In Nigeria, someone like ekweremadu with all his billions still had to illegally fly someone abroad to find a competent doctor to perform a simple kidney transplant? With all his connections and privileges?
Now his reputation is in the mud both home and away. Isn’t God a wonderful being. He’s been in the political spotlight since 1999. What will he now tell his daughter?
What then is the hope of we the common man shebi una dey see as Nigerians dey mumu still wan go vote anyhow again next year?
Be obi dient
People's children have been dying my dear. The rich also cry.
There is nothing like family planning failed them.
Condoms, pills and other family planning does not fail. The people using it fail to use it properly or decided not to use it at all.
I find it odd that a married couple will have sexual relations with a condom. Well, to each his own.
Even at that, birth control methods can FAIL, Oga. Have you not seen women crying because they got pregnant when they were so so sure they were 1000% protected?
These women are pleeeeennntttyy. Sometimes, they are even ashamed to go for pre-natal because they know their nurses would skin them alive and taunt them non-stop for being careless.
Finally, women should go for IUD/implants if their hormones/ bodies can withstand it.
okoroemeka: I was nearly stabbed when I was angry with someone I kept in my house, just because he takes meat from the soup to cook Noddles, just imagine.I have to run away and call the police to throw him out, since then no more
LMAO. Your own house? Crazy things are indeed happening!
fernandoc: My house is my sanctuary. I have gotten so used to living alone that it scares me that one day I will have to get married and live with another human being. Maybe a much much bigger house will do the trick, where I can have my own private section void of any other human interaction.
Lool. This is so me but I live well with a partner. Occasionally, I may just want to disappear to be by myself.
So.....leg and waist dey pain you people, but una always want to knack. Somebody cannot even cuddle you people small to watch TV together, your gbola must rise and the next thing is to start pushing for knack .
Don't mind them especially this Op. Now, he has seen knacks, he dey complain. Lool.
Enya. Now that's one artist I never really could understand. I think we share a lot in common though I still kinda feel there's something quite eerie about her. My thoughts.
