Business / Re: Starting A Business In Lagos With N1m. by SOJ(m): 4:12pm On Jul 24, 2007
Great one,Niajacutiee.I had such a concept once but in line with mobile phones.For example,how do they place such orders?by phone,abi?I thought of a way of sending an sms to a dedicated number with specific codes for different lunch packages and get it delivered to ur office by okada.Sure there are ways to keep the food warm while on motion,it requires a bit of ingenuinty though.its extensive and might reqire a bit of sensitization for it to work.I approached 2 fastfood operator in Lagos for it and they maintained that they were satisfied with thier current order methods.I think it'll take one very innovative and adventurous mind to do such in Lagos,VI especially.
Business / Re: Please What Is The Average Cost For City Bus fare In Lagos,abuja&Port-harcourt? by SOJ(m): 4:01pm On Jul 24, 2007
Let me give u picture of what seun implies by his statement.These are the issues u will have to contend with:1. A rough and disorganised transport union 2.Poor road network leading to high maintenance rates on ur vehicles 3.Unscrupulous driving personnel. 4.Incessant highway robberies,some from conniving personnel. And so many others affecting our transport industry.Aint trying to discourage u but its a tough ride for a newbie(if u r one).I advise i invest in other instruments and later,when u have the financial clout to overcome risks, u may have a transport subsidiary.As for the rates:
Lagos - Benin: N1,800 (average)
Lagos - Port: N2,200-N2,500
Lagos - ABuja: N3,000-N4,000
Business / Re: What Kind Of Business Can Someone Do In Nigeria With Start Up Of 2\3m Naira? by SOJ(m): 3:44pm On Jul 24, 2007
It'll help to know ur personal interests cos there are tons of businesses u can commence wit such an amount in Nigeria.For example, u can buy a Mr Bigg's franchise license for that amount and u will be given training,admin and management support for some time till u can manage the franchise on ur own.Like i said,there are a lot of opportunities u can cash in on in Nigeria especially wit the right kind of money.So, what do u have in mind?
Business / Re: Access Bank Offer @n14.90k - Would You Invest? by SOJ(m): 3:33pm On Jul 24, 2007
My guys (and babes),there is absolutely no need to make fundamental analysis of access bank.their share price moved up based simply on market forces and no more.there is no calculation anyone can make to support its current price and possible upward movement.look at trends in the sector,access is close to its peak and other banks that have stronger fundamentals and are in the same price ring with access could do more.access might reach N20-22 and no more then it would most likely drop as soon as people start to cash in on their profits.for now,the bullish trend experienced by the market would be sustained;at least till the end of the year, look elsewhere for profitable share movement in the banking sector.but if u r content with a N4-8 increase,then go ahead.
Business / Re: I Want To Improve In My Cyber-cafe Business by SOJ(m): 3:20pm On Jul 24, 2007
Hmmm,way to go Orikinla.U av made a valuable point there.Location and customer service(network speed,curtesy etc) all are pivotal to the success of a cafe.If a server is fast and the reception is rude and abusive,then what?

TV/Movies / Re: Angels 'Reality' TV Show? by SOJ(m): 3:38pm On Jun 26, 2007
denex:

@kokoA

I am saying it's because nobody applied the first time, that these people decided to impose their housegirls on us as Angels.

Maybe if people truly apply this time around for the Angels 2, we can afford to see something better.

If nobody buys the forms, that does not mean there will be no Angels 2. There's more where they got that first set of hoodrats from.
LMAOOOO!!!!!
Guess where the N5m prize is coming from?The sms's and the purchase of fresh forms.Thats why they started adverts fro an "Angels 2" at the middle of the show.Gross Nonsense!!
P.S.I for like toast one of the gals(I jerked off on their flesh flash) only problem is that i fear most of them cannot sustain intelligible conversation.

@nynlicious
angry OK. for the record i read ur initial post but what i meant is that what works for me is a name that reflects ur personality,u cant just drop a name from the air!since its interior design/decorating u can make it somthing that'll stick like DesygnPlace etc.U could also try something "controversial" eg. Osama,Biafra (U wouldnt get customers knocking at ur door sha!)
Business / Re: Access Bank Offer @n14.90k - Would You Invest? by SOJ(m): 1:17pm On Jun 06, 2007
I think Access reconstruction is fraudulent if u ask me.Look at basic everyday info:thier first IPO was almost oversubscribed but eventually there is nothin on ground to show for shareholders funds;i mean where are the branch network they promised?or did they use evrything to make thier million naira animation advert?the current price quoted reflects an unreal picture and should be disregarded.As for wether its a good buy? No!!

Business / Re: UBA PLC: My Complaints by SOJ(m): 7:59pm On May 29, 2007
UBA is made up a bunch o insecure and unimaginative set of people.I heard of the deductions too, its a crazy thing to do.U should blame d people who still transact biz with them.
Business / Re: Please Suggest A Business Name! by SOJ(m): 7:56pm On May 29, 2007
@ijogbon,
you are so accurate. A biz name goes beyond suggesting a list of names.U have to choose one to reflect ur personality,type of biz, nature of clients or even type/nature of product or service.
@nynlicious,
If u really need help, make it easier for people to offer suggestions by pointing us in the right direction viz a viz what i suggested above.

Investment / Re: Investment: Bank Shares Or A Plot Of Land? by SOJ(m): 4:28pm On May 29, 2007
It depends on what the guy has in mind to do.If he is interested in longterm investment, then a piece of land is appropriate .Though nowadays you might not get a prime location for that amount,if u are thinking of short term. Buying bank shares, not just 1st bank now, with a bit of luck will yield more than double that amount invested by next year cos we will see even penny stocks (priced lower than the 10naira mark) growing to above N10.So the decision is up to you.
TV/Movies / Re: Angels 'Reality' TV Show? by SOJ(m): 6:29pm On May 23, 2007
The show hasnt impressed me one bit.Looks like your regular Ultimate Search wanna-be.And whats all that flesh they keep on showing off?I mean do the gals have to go about scantily cladded in the mornings? Where in heavens will the organisers get the 5million cash money; from the SMS rates? Its all mush if u ask me, You have gotta watch it to know how not to organise a reality show!

Billboard prices range from N250,000- depending on how large and how much u wanna do.It also matters who u go to;if u go a big concern to egt it done, u might get a whooping estimate.Its best to get a small firm to work it.U can checkout Poise Media Company: 01-8716673. Ask for Victor
