another load of crap

Just say you don't know Majority of their Farm to Table produce are from Nigerian Farmers. but you don't would you!
you don't want to trade with other countries, but you want FDI, don't want foreign companies investing in your country.

you think with the naira will appreciate as per what, as per encouraging local businesses without FDI, continue, NEXT thing you'll suggest that CBN should print more naira so that naira will appreciate until inflation will slap you in your face.

and the reason naira was strong in the 80's was because of the oil discovery that lead to large inflow of foreign investment has nothing to do with local businesses. Naira was very strong, we had hope but.....

ever since, oil has been catering for close to 90-95% of the country's revenue and budget funding

HAHAHAHA

do you use naira to buy import fuel and diesel, do you use naira to travel, is naira relevant outside the borders of Nigeria.

Our economy is shrinking, we need FDI now more than ever

Another Socialist spotted, the Lower middle class has shrunk, this was whom the Shoprite Retail Business was catering for, those Indians and Chinese are just making the products for the Lower class.

Another Mugabe Economist spotted don't worry chase away all the foreign investors and you'll have the local businesses take over.

you don't want to solve the issues that lead to Shoprite exist but because a local company will take over they won't have issues. Every FMCG local and foreign are reporting heavy losses but no kick them out. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oga Economist

KICK OUT MTN WE HAVE GLO, KICK out evercompany that has a Nigerian alternative. hahahaha

Seems like oil sale during the pandemic did not open our eyes, Nigeria needs serious revenue something to bring value into the country either export or FDI. But you closed border with countries that could trade easily with you and started crying when the created a new currency and excluded you. Oshey Giant of Africa, Food Inflation and Inflation is on the increase.

Doesn't it even scare you that our budget is 90% devt servicing, oil revenue id drying up we need fotrign investment, that's how GOKADA and OPAY was fustrated after a combined investment of about $600 million

KICK every Foreigner out they are looting Us; MUGABE Junior Brother. HAHAHHAHAHA

If a product is too expensive it's not meant for you

the Chinese know that our purchasing power is shrinking badly, that's why they can make inferior phones and sell to us and we buy, phones that they don't even use outside Africa but that's what we can afford.

oh yes ban chinese phones let us start making our won phones, then when FG and our importers goes to import fuel, diesel and other things, they would use naira because you know Naira is strong because of local businesses.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I don't even need to finish reading up your rubbish before I can say conclusively that YOU ARE A COMPLETE NOVICE,you only want to sound like a seasoned economist without a basic knowledge of economy,an SS 3 student knows that the more you spend on imported goods the more forex you need.
The argument here is why farm out what you can do conveniently to a foreigner?
why give a thing a little as retail business to a foreign firm thinking you are attracting a foreign investor?

You also goofed by saying oil sale was the driver of our economy in the 80's.
oil was here since 1954 and the boom was in the early 70's.
The main stay of our economy was Groundnuts pyramid of kano,Cocoa From the West and Coal from the East.

I can guess your age with your level of intelligence and your mode of argument.
Complexity is your problem, misuse of words is another, the fact I said Nigerians should take over the running of the economy doesn't indicate am canvasing for socialism.
You obviously don't know the distinction between Capitalism and Socialism. the difference between home-grown solution and wall Street deception.

The Israelis have an habit of circulating the funds within their community up to 12 times before allowing it to go outside of their orbit.
The Indians have imbibe same thing by allowing the same funds to go round them for at Least 8 time's,that is why you see that Indians grow from strength to strength.
The Chinese doesn't even allow their money goes elsewhere, everything they need and want is manufacturer by them
and here is a deluded Nigerian canvasing for CAPITAL FLIGHT.

With people like you, Africans will remain a slave to the rest of word.

what you just wrote is the dumbest piece of crap I've ever seen.

We are losing Foreign Investors that will bring FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) into the country and boost the economy and help our failing Naira but you're are betching about local companies. Shoprite will import goods that has a shelf life of 3 months but because of our Corrupt Customs Service and the long waiting time the containers spend at the port before clearance, the goods will expire and spoil and then money, value and goods are lost.

Instead of talking about implementing Economic policies that will attract foreign investment you're jubilating that foreign Companies are leaving.

Lol like any local company will replicate Shoprite Retail Business.

Proctor and Gamble built a $300 million factory and closed it after a year because of stupid economic polices and a failing currencies.

But no jubilate because Uche, Tayo and Ahmed will start their company.

and fyi our purchasing power is shrinking so Nigeria is gradually becoming irrelevant in the business world.
You need to understand basic economy before you open up your mouth and vomit gibberish.
If you build your local industries who needs a FDI?
foreign investor's are ALWAYS A SHORT TERM INVESTORS MATTER HOW LONG THEY STAY THEY WILL ALWAYS PULL OUT ONE DAY AND RUN TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY WITH THEIR LOOT.
Your local brothers here have no where to run to once he established here, the money stays here, your naira appreciates, your sibling's have a job,Your custom officer won't have a bribe to negotiate on finished goods brought in and Substandard goods won't be brought in.
The problem with you is inferiority complex,a thinking that a foreigner will come and liberate your economy.
I don't know how old you are but I witnessed it in the 80's,our local brands were allover the place, manufacturing is been done here, that was the reason Naira was stronger than $ and £ ,the reason your uncle and your Dad had a means of livelihood, the reason your Dad did not required a Visa to visit UK.

Procter and Gamble is not doing any manufacturing, all they do is bring in imported finished products in bulk and repackage, unfortunately the Indians and Lebanese who manufacturer in Ogun/Oyo STATE Axis wèrè able to beat them to the price war because they manufacturer from the end to finish here, they don't require huge forex to import, some of their content are even source locally.

Why do you think Nigeria breweries and Guiness Is waxing stronger? the embrace local raw material which has drives down their cost of production to a reasonable standard.

Let me ask you if there is anything ShopRite is bringing in that we don't have local substitute here?
point me that thing and I will give up this conversation with you.

Lastly Brands evolve, the likes of Leventis Kingsway and the ilks were here in the 80's .
Cash and Carry, UTC and the rest emerged and survived through the 90's .
Now it is ShopRite, Spar and the rest,in 20yrs time we shall be talking about another brand

No one is telling you that a supermart will sell 100% local goods, Tesco ASDA sainsbury and Lidl sells products from other European countries.
But more of home grown products.
ShopRite don't pay for local goods up front, they provide a space for people to showcase their products and sell them, they allocate stand to manufacturers and collect money from them, they still collect rebate on Good's sold.
They only stand as a middle man between buyer and sellers,I repeat we don't need foreign supermarket, let us grow our own local content and keep our money here.

we all know cost of doing business in Nigeria is high, even at that they still make their money in multiple folds.

Jumia was sold to an Egyptian by its former Nigerian/Ghanaian owner, unfortunately the new investor do not have the drive to push it beyond what was built couple with the fraudulent and dishonest activities of those who sells on the platform.
We do not need economic Killers like Walmart ASDA and the rest of the crew who are solely interested in killing the local content by retailing solely imported goods, who are only interested in repatriating funds to their home country,we need our own local identity,if the likes of Justrite,Addide,Blenco and Jendol, can be making Waves,if the likes of Spar could be here and still trying to survive the local competition to hell with Walmart

Yet FULANI animals now kidnap multitudes of ordinary Nigerians daily across all major highways, wreaking havoc, making and receiving TRACEABLE calls, and collecting ransoms with impunity, daily. No government response.

SARS and other units of the police now move around with POS, extorting money from Nigerians into their nominated bank accounts... With utmost impunity. Government no see that one.

What then is the point of all this fuckery?
People will just come online and rant unnecessarily, have you been stopped from transferring your own fund?
That account has a lien placed on it and they know he can't fulfill that requirements in a hurry.
Another angle is that he may be owing some banks some money and refuses to pay and by the first week of August GLOBAL STANDING INSTRUCTIONS will be applicable to people's account.
Meaning if you owe GTB money and money is found in your Zenith account,it will be use in settling your debt in GTB

Unlike you,I don't need Google to tell me the difference..

I have handled them and know the difference..

Visual inspection of the Shotgun is enough to tell the difference,if you know what you are looking at..

Not all guns that use SHOTS are PUMP ACTION..

They are known as SHOTGUNS and the pump Action Shotgun is just one of many types of SHOTGUNS..

Others includes:

1.The Single Barrel Shotgun.

2.The Double Barrel Shotgun.

3.The Semi Automatic Shotgun (the kidnappers gun)

4.The Automatic Shotgun.

Below is a picture of a PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN (on top) besides a SEMI AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN.

The Pump Action has a movable PUMP (hence the name)..

The Semi Automatic Shotgun has a LEVER unlike a Pump Action.. undecided

Check the markings on the picture..

And by the way,a Pump Action Shotgun is not a RIFLE.. shocked
So how does a semi automatic gun become more sophisticated to AK 47/49 or Tar 21 ?
What is the sophistication in a gun that uses a pellet filled catridge over a gun with a shell NATO ammunition?
How does a gun with less than 5 catriges in its chamber be more sophisticated to a gun with minimum of 30 bullets in its magazine?
How does a semi automatic weapon compares to a weapon with a gas propel trigger/hammer?
Finally how does a semi Automatic Gun which is not capable of firing up to 15 catriges in 1 minutes compare to a gun that is capable of firing up 900 Bullets in same number of minutes?

The fact you have handled one does not mean you know more about gun.
I don't like spoon feeding people, that was why I referred you to Google at the beginning.

I am a guy of 29 years old and she's 24 years old. She is a nurse and she is working and earning good salary. We have been dating for the past 3 years, ever since she came into my life things have been moving forward. Between the space of three years I was able to buy a land and build two flat (almost completed) and also buy a nice car. All this was possible because she was in my life. She assisted me with the money she accumulated before she met me, (2 million naira) gave it to me to add it to the money I was using to build the house, she has really been the best thing that has happened to me. We both have never cheated on each other, I'm very happy having her in my life. During the period of covid 19 my business was shut down totally she was the one that sustained me Althrough and never complained.

She later resigned from her nursing work and started her own chemist shop, I supported her with 300k she rejected it and asked me to add it to the money for house project. She is making some good money from her store any way.

Now we plan to do our marriage by December and I budgeted more than 1 million naira.
the problem is that she insisted that it is too much that I should not spend more than 500k that's been a problem to us but later settle it. because she won't just listen to me she wants me to spend less than that the reason why I wanted to spend more than 1 million Naira was because she deserves it.

So because of that we adjusted the marriage to three months time since it's just 500k I am spending now my question is can I spend 500k for a moderate marriage? And I wanted to do something tangible for her because she deserve more than everything I have, please what other things can I do for her that will be equivalent to everything she has done for me.

Since we have been dating she has never asked me for big money and also when ever I give her she always tells me that she gat money that no need to give her, in fact she love me so much that she don't even accept money from me unless gift. Now I want to do something tangible for her because since I have been dating her she doesn't allow me spent on her that much, and she doesn't complain.
The only Tangible thing you can do for her now is to perfect the building documents in her name and present it to her as wedding present.

I know I let my guards down. So there was this lady who I would call Miss T. She was introduced to me by her senior sister who I knew through a facebook group. Since I told her I needed a girl for a serious relationship, she said she will link me to her younger sister in Akungba, Ondo state.

So, fast forward to when I began speaking with Miss T, she agreed to come to see me in Lagos but complained of not having enough for transport. So due to the recommendation i got that she was a good lady, I sent her N11, 000 as transport.

So after sending her this money, only for her to call me on the eve of the day she was supposed to come. that one of her relative was ill. So I just had this feeling that this was too coincidental to be true.

So I tried to cajole her to return the money since I sensed she was trying to play smart with me. She said no problem. That I can send my account number, which I did. After waiting for 3 days, I chatted her up on whatsapp that I'm yet to see any alert from her. Only for her to tell me she needs money for now.

So I said she is supposed to keep her promise of returning it, after which, she blocked her on whatsapp. I contacted her senior sister who linked us and her response too wasn't satisfactory to me.

So I'm really bitter with how the whole episode played, any chances of me recovering my money? just pained why someone will block me on top of my money. Please help.

Education › Re: What Course Can Someone With This WAEC Result Study? by Solatium(m): 11:56am On Jun 25, 2020
Renerd:
What can I study with this result.(pics attached below).

Actually, while in school I know what I was doing, I did take those subject for the purpose of studying medicine, because I love it so I purposely drop anything relating to engineering.

But after my secondary education, I had no opportunity to further my education ( being an orphan), therefore I took to hustling, and after some year, I'm now preparing to further my education. But I discovered that i cannot continue with medicine, due to the nature of my work, I won't be opportune to combine the stress of my job with the demands of studying medicine, so I am thinking of diverting.

But the problem involved is that, my result is only good for medicine, and can't be use for engineering, considering jamb requirements, therefore educationalist in the house, what course do you suggest I go for, with this result apart from medicine. (picture attached below)

Firstly I will like to apologize for any errors made while typing, and I am seriously in need of ur advice and criticism.

My name is Stanley(not real names) married for 4years with two Lovely kids both female with d eldest at age 4. Trust me I cherish and love my family. I am a graduate while my wife dropout from the university cause of some money issues her single mother had while she was sick. After our first child I made sure she got admitted to a polytechnic and thankful she just rounded up her N.D all expenses paid by me, with high hopes of Getting admitted for her HND.

The problem started after our first child, my wife attitude towards sex changed totally, she would never let me touch her or play with her, calling her pet names will usually end in quarrel, I spoke with her her severally, pleaded and beg her most times but her attitude never changed, she made me feel like I met nothing to her, yet she will always fight with me whenever ever she suspects I have a girlfriend, fights with any female that comes close to me through calls or chats, she even went as far as beating up a lady that needed my help thinking I was dating her.

Fast forward to recently, her mom who is a single mother relocated to stay with us, and during her stay we had some misunderstanding about money issues, (note both me and wifey are gainfully employed in the ratio of 10:4, but 60% of wifey salary goes to her mom while she spends the rest 40% anyhow she likes) during d money issues a frd of hers came and told both of them that she see saw me flirting with a lady. And without hearing my own side of the coin my mother in-law rained curses on me , reported my to all her family members and left my house angrily, two days later my wife took our children and left my house while I was in d office, I called about her where about and she said she won't tell me and she said I will hear from her family soon, her mom called a family friend saying she will sue me.

It's been one week now and I don't know the whereabouts of my kids.

Should I report to the police or what?
Note I have apologized to wife for the crime I didn't commit yet it seems they want a bigger pound of flesh.

Please kindly advise me caused am depressed and confused
No stress yourself bro, just leave her with her Mother, don't even call or text her,she will run back under 6,weeks.
Because she will be financially stressed, she will come back with a lot of lessons, she will discover within those period that her mom is her number one enemy.

Please I just really need someone to talk to about this and I will like your candid advise..

So since my older sister got married I always come to her house and spend few weeks or months and go back. Al·through my university days, whenever school is not in session I always come down here to spend time with her and her husband.

Truth be told the husband is a very nice man and has helped me always financially, anytime I come here once my sister welcomes me the first day like this, from the second day she leaves all her house chores for me, I mean everything and she just relaxes. At times I get really tired and don't even feel like doing those chores but because most times when I come visiting she is heavy ( pregnant) so most times I just help her...

Thing is my sister doesn't appreciate all my effort, most times she complains self its the hubby that tells her that I am hardworking and at least she should give me credit for all I do.

Now the reason why am writing this is because am done with service (NYSC) and as it is its like I have to stay in her house because the state where she stays has more job opportunities compared to where our parents live... She stays in Abuja...I have been down with malaria for few days now and I have been on treatment, just because I can't do certain house chores because am not too strong my sis started complaining saying I can't be living in her house and be waking up whenever i like... Mind you I was always the first that wakes up when I wasn't sick, in fact I will wash the dishes, sweep, mop daily, cook food, bath her children and all those things.

The only thing she does is to bath her youngest baby, but now because for these few days she has been doing those work I do daily she is already saying she can't tolerate me sleeping and not waking up on time.

My question is this, does she have the right to be so angry at me because she is doing her house chores? I feel its her house and so she doing her house chores herself shouldn't be a problem since am not too strong to help her do it. She herself just sweep and doesn't mop, but she expects me to sweep and mop everyday.

Should i just go back to my parents house and get a job there? Me renting my own house is not an option because am a lady and am just 22...

Please i need you guys advice, what can I do?
If you know what is good for you,go back to your parents home.
You can make job applications online and attend interview when called upon.
