Well she is always happy anytime she is around me, she is just too afraid that she might lose me, she never demands anything from me even when she knows i am capable, she talks so much about the future with me.. The truth is that if someone feels something for you, you will definitely know, I am prudent enough to let her be if she doesn't feel anything for me.. I have asked her so many times why she loves me, she said she just didn't see anything in particular and that all she knows is that the feelings just grew with time and she will always beg me not to break her heart and she has made me emotionally attached to her which i truly dont like. Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, has finally replaced Mr. Obafaiye Shem, the man who postulated the “my oga at the top” mantra, as commandant of Lagos State Command. He was replaced by Mr. Adesuyi Clement from Oyo State Command.

The Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr. Olu Abolurin, who was in Lagos weekend over the alleged killing of two of his officers by some policemen, introduced the new Commandant to journalists.


However, he did not give reasons for Obafaye’s removal but sources hinted that it may not be unconnected with his recent interview on Channels Television live programme.

Before now, authorities of NSCDC have denied taking any disciplinary action against Mr. Shem over the said interview. Their reaction followed claims that Shem had been sacked on the orders of the Minister of Interior, who supervises the NSCDC.

Shem’s ordeal started when he appeared on Channels Television morning programme ‘Sunrise’ and when asked the NSCDC website he said:

“Hmmm, the website is, excuse me, my Oga at the top knows the website”. He again, cleared his throat and said: “My Oga at the top is working on the website and I don’t have them”.

When the presenters insisted that he give a functioning website address of the para-military outfit, he dropped the bombshell: “ww.nscdc, that’s all”.

Immediately, the interview went viral and has become so popular to the extent that t-shirts with “my oga at the top” insignia has been produced and selling like hot cake across the country, even as some DJs and musicians have done what they called a remix of the phrase.

This situation is a warning signal to all public office holders, that they shouldn't always wait for their "oga at the top" to detect what happens next...so sad that the "oga at the top" he highly and respectfully spoke about eventually sent him packing.My condolence sir.

I made the mistake of sitting next to a FAT, OBESE, FAT Nigerian woman and it is a day that I will never forget.... she had no teeth so her mouth smelt really bad, like the pit latrine. Solution: What happened was that you allowed yourself to forget the things that you had decided to do. You did not schedule a time or create a reading timetable. You did not request for a transcript talk-less of registering for a Master’s program. In long and short, you did not prepare. You did not insert any of these things you purposed to do into your schedule. Who is to blame? Your boss? Your lecturers? You friends? No. You are to blame. Sort yourself out. Create a schedule. Solution: Plan yourself. Calculate how much will be required to buy the car you need. Calculate how much money you want to have in your bank account by the end of the new year. Afterwards, calculate the number of working hours you need to achieve that. Divide the amount of money you need by the amount of time you have. Then find out how much you need to generate every hour to achieve this. How can you find the job or business idea that can generate that amount per hour. Nothing is impossible if you have a strategy.


5. I will get married in the new year
Every year an old unmarried man and a young, single woman resolve to get married. The year trails and then the probability of meeting Mr. or Mrs. Right, talk-less of getting married looks bleak. Very bleak. It is easy to imagine this when you begin to notice the folds around your belly and little bags below your eyes. You are ageing. Yeah. It dawns on you. Your friends drive to your house with their kids and you remember “I need to get married quickly”. However, this does not occur sometimes due to circumstances.

Solution: Don’t give up. If you’ve got a fiancée, then this would be based on your mutual agreements. 6. I will shed some weight, Eat less in the new year
This is very similar to sex. A lot of people especially those that are overweight or a little above what they will like to weigh say this. Many of these people are addicted to chocolates and lots of other junks that are high in calories. They try but they keep failing.

Solution: Well not so bad. What you require is discipline. Questions you need to ask yourself when you are tempted to down a whole pack of Maltesers; What will it benefit me?
