People who cry foul about Fulani herdsmen, colonisation or land grabbers are suddenly making arguments for conquest. Lol. Life can't get more interesting than this. I don't see you talking about the action that led to that war. If it were your land someone came in and split, would you have sat back and smiled back like a good dog? They didn't win majority of the land through that war. Since that war they have kept grabbing more lands, more lands and more lands. PS Forget the name tag, Palestinian are basically these people you have mentioned. Something about towns expanding and all that. I hope you are also seeking to go back to your ancestral land, the ones your ancestors occupied before moving to wherever you ancestral alnd and forcefully assert your historical right to that land as well. You are right that the Arab states mad ethe situation worse however what happened should have never happened. You can't go around destabilising lives, lands and people and continue to suppor tyranny when it suits you.. ReubenE: Egypt and and the Arab league is largely responsible for the ordeal the Palestinians are facing... Those lands were not stolen, majority was acquired through conquest after the Arab-Israeli wars
Israel only expanded its grip on Palestinian lands (formally a British mandate) after the defeat of the Arab coalition in 1948 and 1967.
If the Arab league had allowed reason to prevail when the UN Resolution partitioned that land to Two States (Jewish State of Israel, and Arab State of Palestine) in 1947, perhaps by now, Palestine would have been a thriving country on their own with her own army.
But Egypt and the Arab coalition felt Israel was too small and feeble. Egyptian Generals even boasted that a war with Israel would be like a parade from Cairo to Tel Aviv, that Tel Aviv would be overtaken in two weeks. They opposed the UN Resolution for Two-State Solution by invading Israel, a battle they lost. Israel ceased more lands far more than what was given to her by the UN after the war. Can Israel be blamed for doing this? The answer is No, the the land is a war bounty.
Syria lost the control of Golan Heights, Jordan lost the West Bank, Egypt lost the Gaza Strip after the 6 days war (3rd Arab war with Israel) in 1967. Israel obviously and overwhelmingly won the war and consolidated its grip on Palestine. Can Israel be blamed for controlling a land they conquered through war? No, cause in war, everything is fair.
The Two-State solution the Palestinians and the Arab League opposed vehemently in 1947, is what they are now clamoring for, but unfortunately, Israel and her western allies especially the US is no longer keen on doing that.
One very important fact to note is that, no country is a good country in the International System of power play. Palestine would do the same to Israel if she finds herself in that position because international politics is always about National Interest.
Russia has been annexing Ukrainian lands (Crimea, Sevastopol etc), Russia has been making attempts to annex Georgia, Turkey has been muscling Armenia etc. No country is a good country, it is always about self and National Interest.
PS: The land Israel is occupying is not entirely Palestinian land. They have historical ties to that land right from the time of Egypt and Babylonia. Israel only ceased Golan Heights, West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza Strip after the war with the Arab Coalition |

I have a right over a land because God promised me the land 5000 years ago The early Christians didn't believe this. The European Christians didn't believe it. Jews were responsible for Jesus death and they persecuted them. This new interpretation must be some Israel propaganda for Christians solidarity. What an absolute joke! NobleRace: Let me give you an illustration.
You're the king of the land, and you gave a large portion of your land to your son. The land is marked to be his forever. He isn't expected to sell it.
Now, you alone know what the land contains. There are rich deposits of minerals in there, but your son isn't aware yet. You want him to discover it himself.
There comes a merchant from a faraway land. He approached your son for the land. He came subtly with subtility, using alluring quotes and prices to get your son into a deal. Finally, your son fell for his schemes and sold the land.
What would you do to get the land back as a just king? |

Is that the reason why the Christians persecuted them in Europe? Hated them and blamed them for Jesus's death? Your interpretation is very new school. Something to make yourself happy to support the landgrabbers. FYI, the western world cares about control not religion.. Maobichek: Base on Wikipedia you have written off Jesus as a Jew ? Jews are still expecting their Messiah, Jews rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah but they are eargely waiting for their Messiah (saviour) as was prophesied by Isaiah the prophet.
Your believe might have emerged from what you read online or taught in school but saying that Christianity didn't stem from Jesus Christ is not true. Both the Bible and internet confirm that Christianity came from Jesus Christ.
I don't argue over things but even the Israelites and Andrew ( his disciple) asked: can any good thing come from Nazareth? Jews believe that a saviour would be born among them but they see him as a son of a carpenter, up till now, they don't see Jesus as their saviour but the second coming of Christ will clarify all these things, thank you. |

Your second question One of the primary reason for Jews to demand a safe haven was because of the European Christians. They persecuted them, treated them like dirt. Many of them blames them for Jesus's crucifixion. otipoju: The question you should answer is where did the Jews disperse out from in the first instance. The same land where they returned to.
How two descendants of the same ancestor will hate themselves so much is baffling. |
