Is it that Nigerians generally have become more heartless or it is the prevalence of social media that is responsible for the more increased awareness of these evil and vile acts that hithertho seemed uncommon?.It is a pity that such a pretty lady was wasted like that by her supposed lover, women use her brain in things regarding churches, not all these God of Men re Men Of God and ordained Bt him,a much more larger percentage re sheep in wolves clothings..
It is the prevalence of social media that has brought out most of this hidden vices, but it is more exposed in the west, if the level of social media presence was as active in the west as in the North... you will perpetually weep for what Nigerians have become. That is why it seems the most simple things hardly works in the country. Too much coded evil in the land.

Bros,

I have come to the conclusion that there is no way we can assert what an ideal value of govt contract is. Even if you add the road "all-join" Nigerians will still complain. I believe we should focus on advocating that projects once started should be completed within reasonble time so that we can start to derive value from it.
,

A transparent public bid evaluation process would actually give you the true cost of a project, so was such a process followed and where are the list of the world class firms that took part in the bid round and there previous project track records.
PoliticsRe: N23b Oshodi Transport Hub VS N19b Uyo Stadium - Which White Elephant Is Whiter? by TheAlchemist: 9:53am On Apr 05, 2018
three:
Appropriateness, Cost Benefit and Opportunity Cost

Add Transparency to that. (Do some research on public administration and public procurement - public is mentioned before these two words because the elected official or appointee is holding 'public trust')

If a man who has five children and earns 500k a month decides to send one child to American International School and the other four to Jakande school would that make sense?

Q1. Which Buses and what passengers are going to use the Ikeja Bus Terminal?
Q2. What is a Bus Terminal?
Q3. Is the Bus Terminal along an established transportation route?
Q4. Have you seen any World Class Bus Terminal where you first walk past the buses you are going to embark THEN enter the Ticketing Hall before exiting again to go back to where you started from?
Q5. How much did the Bus Terminal Cost?
Q6. Was the Lagos State Public Procurement Law followed?

Q1. Have you seen any Transport Interchange with Offices and shops built ab initio ABOVE it?
Q2. Who will rent the Offices and Shops and at What Cost?
Q3. If I can build 23 Bus Interchanges with the amount I'm using to build just one shouldn't I in the interest of the Public reconsider and evaluate Cost Benefit?
From your write up, i guess your company was unable to win the bid to build the bus terminal? just kidding but very good analysis.

Some instrumentalists back then in our choir, when preaching starts, they will go downstairs only to come up when preaching is finished.

I look at their life's from then till today...movement without progress.

The only one of them who did not join them in that habit is highly successful today.
.

the last line of your statement is not really relevant. Being successful is more about God's grace or alternatively a deal with the Devil can also bring prosperity, bad things happen to good people, and also good things happen to bad people. It is all about perspective.

What are the amenities within the bus terminal, is this a futuristic world class intra city terminal or just another copy and build terminal. what separates this terminal from other bus terminals in the world, can this terminal become a reference point within Africa, or a model for other African countries to learn from, so far all i noticed was an ATM dispensing machine, would there be provision for free wifi, nursery for kids, library, amusement centre, public viewing centre etc... please i am not as traveled as all the Nairalander so i really do not know amenities contained within a world class intra city bus terminal.

PoliticsRe: Picture Of Bill Gates And Kemi Adeosun: Give It A Caption by TheAlchemist: 7:23pm On Mar 23, 2018
0monnak0da:
What exams did Bill Gates pass himself.

Bill Gates is not God.

There is a psychological process called PROJECTION which is what is at work here.

You like many people on this thread use the "SCREEN" of the photo to project the story of your own psychology.

Firstly Bill Gates already said where he disagrees with the governent. I happen to agree with him on that one point. However difference of opinion does not imply differene in ability intelligence etc.

Ultimately the job of a minister is a political one and Bill Gates has never been a politician.

Politics has nothing to do with pasing exams and everything to do with being in touch with people. Again here I think the government is out of touch with the people

But can we be spared the Bill Gates Worship,.

Bill Gates is a very rich man off the back of a Government protected monopoly(like Dangote) He has not proven himself in any arena outside IT to qualify him( more than any Nigerian) to speak on what government should do for Nigerians. Sometimes he will get it right and other times not so.

One question instead of doing charity work let him come to Africa and actually try to make money let us see how succesful he can be at that where there is no protection from the government for intellectual property.

Africa needs investment not charity? We need jobs not vaccines.

If he loves us so much let him come and open ranches and Dairy farms let him invest in the power sector. Let him come and do business .

That is what we need from him not handuts
After what you guys did to Richard Branson, you want Bill gate to come and get a dose of the ease of doing business in Nigeria?

PoliticsRe: We Don’t Have Capacity To Defend Schools From Terrorists’ Invasion – Army by TheAlchemist: 7:05pm On Mar 23, 2018
Cromcruach91:
Hmmm

1.There are probably at least 500 schools in Borno state. How will the army defend them all? And fight Boko, and the other crisis in the country? (Remember that there is the Fulani issue , and the crime issue, and the fact that most states prefer to use soldiers for internal security ops?)

2.How many soldiers can the army deploy to each school? There were eight soldiers at chibok. All Boko needed to do was send in hundreds of their fighters to Chibok...and there was nothing eight soldiers could do...

3.The real problem here is our underfunded police force, and anyway, they too have all sorts of problems to deal with.

4.My solution....empower the civilian JTF. And provide more security by running a government that creates jobs....by, you know, promoting investment in things that promote manufacturing...which would encourage more people to get educated...and more people to stay away from Boko.
The south have been crying for State police, for community police, but the North are probably of the opinion that it would be an avenue for the South to be fully armed for a possible break away from Nigeria, so they would rather let there people continue to suffer from the ravages of boko haram. The South has finally been vindicated the only solution is for us to have state police and also community policing.

It is not limited to only Nigeria, either. It's all over Africa.
There are graphic photos of a Ghanaian snapchat celebrity girl, (google gahana snapchat girl murder) brutally killed and her body parts harvested in Ghana. It happens in Tanzania (albino murders and organ harvesting), Gambia, Botswana, Zambia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Kenya (which you say is years ahead of Nigeria), pretty much everywhere in Africa.

Google country name ritual murder and put any country you want, see for yourself.
Ritualist killing and organ harvesting seems to be one of the cancers infecting Africa. I think the governments of all African countries need to come together and start a massive campaign to put an end to it.
You want the people in government that are the beneficiary of this ritual killings to do something, ain't going to happen.

Give us state police they refuse, community police they refuse, who will then protect the weak and vulnerable in the land.
