Remember judges go on a 2 months break from August to October. Even in the US police don't just rush cases to court, they take their time to conclude investigations.

My wedding is approaching and I'm so excited about it.
Before I met my husband to be, there's this married man I know. Right from day one he told me who was married but his family based in a different state. I told him I'm single and I can't marry a married man nor date a married man. We both laughed about it.

The project did not collapse because the owner did not supervise the project. In fact the building collapsed because the owner assumed the role of the engineer and went against the advice of the original engineer that designed the engineering part of the project.
It is not possible for the owner to supervise and manage such a huge project, even if he is present on the site 24/7. Project owners need to spend money to hire competent and reputable professionals.

That's what I am trying to explain to them. There should be a know your customer policy, whereby the bank or financial institution interacts with the custoner in order to get clarity about suspicious transactions. Going directly to EFCC without asking the customer is bad business strategy.

Yes going to EFCC is not a crime, but going to EFCC over 800k is ridiculous. If every transaction over 800k needs to pass through EFCC, the EFCC would not be able to cope.
Such transaction only needs the operator to fill a form by the bank stating the source of the money. Banks, financial institution and high value transactions have a form for customers to fill in case of suspicious transactions. Kuda should have questioned the customer on the nature of the transaction before going to EFCC.

Prove how he got 800k? Have EFCC ever asked politicians and their cronies how billions move in and out of their accounts? My problem with the story is why didn't he sue the hotel? Since he had the receipts of the bills he incurred and can prove that the accident was as a result of direct negligence/ incompetence of the hotel, why not contact a lawyer and sue. What do you mean by "No single substandard material was used" are you a structural engineer or architect? A quick glance at the collapsed building shows substandard materials. The concrete mix is way wrong. The steel rods did not adhere to the concrete meaning the steel rods are substandard. The type of sand used looks like very fine plaster sand instead of very coarse sharp sand. The wreckage resembles a collapsed sand castle.
