Yes in most marriages, the husband should be a the head of the family. But I have seen marriages where another member has taken over the role depending on finances. Wives, inlaws and even sometimes rich children take over as head of family.

It's difficult to discuss finances before marriage because the Nigerian economy is highly unstable and unpredictable. The OP is lucky the covid19 did not affect his job. I know many that lost their jobs or businesses last year.

Oga you are wrong. Parents are always punished for the actions of their children everywhere. If you children destroys someone else's property. You are required to pay for all damages. Yes a parents is not usually held liable for their children's criminal activities in most countries, but they are held liable in civil law. In the west if the government feels you cannot raise a child appropriately, the child would be taken away from you.

Parents cannot be exonerated from the crimes of their children. Most times they support or actively participate in the crimes of their children. This is my grouse with benalvino2. He feels he knows more than the actual people experiencing systemic racism in the US. Black Americas has been complaining and fighting against systemic racism till this day.
