PrecisionFx:Lies again, this is what IPOB said; Over our dead bodies will Anambra election hold – BSS leader, Ezekwesiri - http://dailypost.ng/2017/09/02/biafra-dead-bodies-will-anambra-election-hold-bss-leader-ezekwesiri/ |
nandyz:You deserve Olympic gold for lying. Read this report; Also see this - https://www.nairaland.com/956515/16-massob-members-killed-83 You will realize that Buhari has even been lenient on biafran agitators as compared to Jonathan. |
PrecisionFx:So after Millions died in 1967, did that bring about Biafra? If you all die in a renewed war, will it also bring Biafra? |
PrecisionFx:Lies lies and more lies. Even IPOB said Radio Biafra was launched in 2014. When did Kanu champion election boycott in 2013 because they were not nigerians, when in was protesting for one Nigeria in 2012. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS6HitcBPxQ |
9jabull:Please read up on this article 3 to understand what the UN mean by rights to self determination. It does not mean rights to secession or rights to dismember a sovereign nation. The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) was adopted by the General Assembly on Thursday, 13 September 2007, by a majority of 144 states in favour, 4 votes against (Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States) and 11 abstentions (Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burundi, Colombia, Georgia, Kenya, Nigeria, Russian Federation, Samoa and Ukraine).[1] |
obailala:Don't mind these IPOB touts, they think every one will fall for their lies. Who was president on May 30th 2015? Kanu is just an opportunist who used the disappointment, frustration and anger of Jonathan loosing the elections to exploit the Igbos for his political relevance. Before the 2015 elections, KANU was a unity beggar, a day after Buhari was sworn in he became a secessionist. Even though Jonathan was weak, if he had tried this rubbish during his reign, Jonathan would have dealt with him severely. |
Nukualofa:Excuse for failure. Africans are legendary for blaming everybody else and everything else for their failures except themselves ie witches, juju, demons, devil, stepmother, other tribes. The latest is blaming Fulani's and Yoruba's for the lack of vision and progress by Igbo leaders both political and cultural leaders. Is it Fulani that did not allow Igbo leaders build bridges in ala Igbo including the the 2nd Niger bridge. The Anambra government in conjunction with the Delta state government can build the bridge and toll it as an investment to recuperate their money in a short time ( remember Delta state build an airport for over N60 billion). An individual in ala Igbo can even build the bridge solely or conjunction with foreign investors. The expanded Ikorodu road from mile 12 to Ikorodu was build by PPP between the Lagos state government and the world bank. In this modern economy, the most important resource is human and the most valuable resource is data. Google and apple alone makes more money than Nigeria makes from oil in a year. |
TippyTop:Hate speech. |
ralph28:False. Kanu is challenging the Federal Government of Nigeria. No government in this world would tolerate challenge to its authority by anyone. If the FG ignore this challenge, the government would look weak Kanu and many others would be enbolden to challenge the authority of the FG. The die is already cast, someone must give way. It is not the person that makes the loudest noise that would win. |
PureMe01:Patience my friend, he will be arrested. PMB is only waiting for the courts to resume in a few week's time. It is only the judge that release kanu on bail that can revoke same, to save you guys some energy from wailing human rights, dictator, ICC, US, and so on. The whole world is eager to see how you will burn down the country. |
Afam4eva:You agreed that Jonathan made the speech, so where is the lie. It is you that is now being economical with with truth, Jonathan made that kind of speech only in the South east, he never made similar speech in other parts of the country. According to you it is the location and context within which a speech was made that renders it hate speech and not the words itself. Buhari saying "The constituents, for example, that gave me 97% cannot in all honesty be treated on some issues with constituencies that gave me 5%.” is hate speech because it was said at At The US Institute Of Peace, US, but Jonathan's speech "Igbo is the strongest pillar of my administration" is "love speech" because it was said in Enugu among Igbos. |
tuniski:And i am closer to GEJ by faith and religion than Buhari, but that does not mean i will tell outright lies to support my position. Check the statistics again, apart from the last elections, there was never a time PDP got less than 30% of votes in the presidential elections in the north west. During the 2011 elections GEJ won up to 35% of the votes in Buhari's home state. You avoided my question about the "hate speech" by GEJ about only one tribe being the pillars of his administration, meaning other tribes are non load bearing walls. You also conveniently forgot the Yorubas who were bitter about not being carried along by GEJ. Oh I forgot, you think their complaints were unfounded. |
tuniski:You guys are just behaving like whining cry babies, you are refusing to accept that you lost in your political gamble. Immediately buhari won you guys went to town making all kinds of demands like you want key political posts like secretary to the FG, you demand second Niger bridge, you demand roads, etc, when people that voted him had not even made any demands. Buhari was just reminding you guys that in politics, you have to take care of your supporters before your antagonists. Now answer me, was it also hate speech when Jonathan made the following declarations; According to Jonathan, Igbo's are his biggest supporters - not Yorubas, not Hausas, so he would favour the igbos as against the Yorubas. See this thread for reactions of fellow igbos then - https://www.nairaland.com/1459233/igbos-remain-pillar-govt-jonathan |
tuniski:How can this statement be construed as hate speech; “I hope you have a copy of the election results. The constituents, for example, gave me 97% [of the vote] cannot in all honesty be treated on some issues with constituencies that gave me 5%.”Politicians the world over play to their base. In the US president Trump plays mainly to his white or should I say alt right conservative base. How many appointments within the white house or cabinet are given to Blacks, Latinos, native Americans and other minority groups. Politics just like war is about alliances and rewarding loyalties. |
tuniski:And Reno represent what? OK highlight the hate speeches let's see. |
PHIPEX:Although I agree with you and I am also disappointed with Buhari's lopsided political appointments. Threatening fire and brimstones and secession is not the answer. Buhari has only 4 years (God willing) or at most 8years and he will be history. The answer lies in politics. You guys better begin politicking NOW. Start strategizing, start building alliances, start from your immediate neighbours, reach out to the South West, north central. You will not achieve anything by insuring and antagonizing everyone. The Yoruba's complained of the same marginalization during GEJ, but you guys dismissed their complains as baseless, what did they do. The allied with the north to push him out. You guys still wailed about being betrayed by Yoruba's. Now having said these, the main problem is the enormous responsibility and powers given the president and the FG. A situation where the president will have to appoint people into hundreds of boards, VCs of universities, etc; there are bound to be abuse and cries of marginalization. The country needs to be RESTRUCTURED. |
Afam4eva:Numerous hate speeches by buhari? Hate is speeches against who? Now, do you want us to compare hate speeches by KANU, TAN, PDP and its supporters to the so called hate speeches by Buhari? We can embark on a compare and contrast analysis. Fortunately, Google does not forget. |
OjukwuWarBird:How can Ebele not ignore KANU, when he was campaigning for ONE NIGERIA during his reign. https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.naij.com/amp/1113465-video-nnamdi-kanu-supporting-one-nigeria-2012-surfaces.html Some Nigerians prospered but Nigeria was hemorrhaging from corruption under Ebele. He even boasted that he created the highest number of billionaires in history but also depleted our foreign and local reserves despite record oil receipts. |
OjukwuWarBird:So Ebele Azikiwe was was also not sensible, maybe that was why you guys forgot about the right to self determination during his reign and instead was screaming GEJ till 2019. |
headhunter1:Kanu's wife is a confirmed prostitute according to him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UIRwV6PLLw |
hammerT:You guys will react like a poisonous snake because a fellow citizen insult your leader? This Biafra will be worse than north Korea. You scream of one man one vote and in the same breath you threaten fellow Igbo citizens with dissenting voice with violence. |
jamesjimi:Yes, War will be easier option than referendum. Since referendum was not inserted into our constitution, it can only be inserted through a constitutional amendment. You know the requirements for constitutional amendment - 2/3 of all state Assemblies must adopt the amendment, apart from 2/3 of the national assembly. Do you even think all the Igbo state of assemblies will agree to inset referendum in our constitution? But if there is war and you are able to either defeat Nigeria or at least hold her to a stale mate, Nigeria would have to allow you secede. That was how all other newly African countries that seceded got their secession after decades of war. |
chinoxstock:It is you and your people that does not understand Nigeria, if you do, you will realize that you can never attain power by threats and intimidation. Nigeria understand you scream Biafra every time you lose out in the power play, but forget biafra and become Nigerian once you get political advantage. Why did you think the Senate threw the idea of restructuring outta the window?Because Nigerians had not been given the full meaning of restructuring, outside the usual clamour for a bigger share of the national cake. If an igbo president give 98% appointment to igbos and the remaining 2% to yorubas, do you think the Hausas would wait for 4yearsThe last Igbo leaning president gave 98% of the most critical appointments to Igbos/Ijaws and you people were ecstatic, while the Afonjas were lamenting. What did they do, the Yorubas and the Afonjas waiting 4 years and kicked the president out. Do you know that almost all the oil blocs in this country are owned by Hausas?False propaganda. 80% of oil blocks in nigeria are owned by foreigners ie, Shell, Chevron, Agip, Elf, etc, while the 20% owned by Nigerians are shared between Hausa, Yoruba and Igbos. No SS indigene has an oil block. So many things I wanna type but my ba3 is 10% cos no light in this country. Why is there no light in Nigeria? Because some cabals enjoy this darkness. The emergence of BIAFRA would destabilize this cabal and that's why they are fightingSo you are only becoming aware that there is no light in nigeria. Why did you not ask this same question during the reign of Ebele? They coming of BIAFRA would shatter the cabal that would not want our youths to be gainfully employedSo the word BIAFRA is a magic word, that would make jobs appear out of thin air and maybe diamonds too? Nigeria is finished. Someone likened Nigeria to a car without tyres. Change the driver a million times, it won't move/work. It a nation built on deception.Nigeria is anything but finished. Nigeria is having the same problems all countries that depends solely on natural resources are facing, which is problems of greed associated with each group fighting to get hold of control of the resources. |
omaar12:Can you please show us a map containing those territories. |
omaar12:You still have not answered the OP's question. Kanu never restricted his separatist agenda only to Igbo territory, he even said he was offered the key 5 Igbo states and he refused, he categorically said he also wants Rivers and Benue States. Please answer the question and specify the Geographical space Kanu and IPOB are fighting for. |
Immatex:The same good "Ebele" did for Rivers that made the River's people love him and his party so much. |
As "awon boys" say, she never "jaasi" meaning she is a learner. If she knows what's up, she should be hawking bread instead of groundnut. |
Nonaira1:I am not the one that said 99.99% of Igbo women are prostitutes, it wss your supreme leader. Buy some data so you can hear your personal lord and saviour from the youtube link above. If 99.99% of Igbo girls are prostitutes, then how can yorubas have the greatest numbers of oloshos? |
zionmade1:I am surprised that you do not know or understand that hate speeches and campaigns can actually lead to war and subsequently genocide. Ask yourselves, how was Hitler able to mobilize normally sane German population into hate filled Nazis ready to die fighting a senseless war and exterminate Jews and gypsies? Hate speeches. What was responsible for the Rwanda war and genocide between the Hutus and Tutsis - two years of hate campaigns by Radio Rwanda. If the hate speeches started by radio Biafra is allowed to continue for two or three more years, even children will be primed to murder the other side. Hatred is the main tool employed by ISIS to get youths to commit terrorist acts against innocent citizen. Hatred as well as love can be a powerful tool to achieve evil or good as the case may be. |
Biafran lady, if igbos truly love themselves, why do some Igbos still regard other Igbo's as sub human; Three Classes of people exist in Imo State: In Imo State, three classes of individuals exist. These are the “free born” (Diala), the enslaved outcasts (Osu, Ohu or Oru) and Ume (those prone-to-die). Oral history has it that the early outcasts were “sacrificed” or willingly surrendered themselves to one deity or the order, to avoid being sold into slavery or the like. These groups created by the people, predates the advent of Christianity in Igbo land, and has refused to die in the psyche of Ndigbo till date. According to the custom and tradition of the people, all the so- called free born had nothing to do with either the slaves or in their communities, including marriages. Beyond this despicable deprivation is the humiliation and stigmatization the Osu, Ohu or Ume suffered at the hands of the supposed free born. These groups of people bear their pains with equanimity even as marriage to an Osu man or woman is an abomination. Other minor or lower cast groups found in many communities are called derogatory names like ndi ejiri goro ihe (those sacrificed to the gods or slaves to the gods of the communities). In some other communities, the osu or slave is regarded as a worthless human being. Will there still be Osus in Biafra? What of the way women are being treated no in igboland? Would women have equal rights in Biafra? Would women still be required to go through embarrassing and sometimes dangerous rites at the death of her husband? Will she be allowed to inherit properties of her husband and father?
