I was 7 or so.

For some weird reason that morning, I decided I wasn't going to school.

Mom tried all she could to get me to get myself ready for school.

She pleaded. Threatened. Shouted.

But I was having none of it.

I wanted to stay home because one of my best friends from next compound was also home, so we'd play all we wanted.

So I dodged and dodged.

Mom became furious. Already, she was running late for work.

One thing led to another, a busy body neighbor took hold of me and handed me over to her.

Guys, the beating I received that day... it laid part of the foundations of who I am today.

That was the first real beating I had ever received from my mom. And she made sure she made a statement with it.

It took the efforts of neighbors, including the busy body neighbor that had earlier handed me to her, to pry me out of her hands and hurriedly dressed me up and set me enroute school.

For the first time in my life, I had gone to school without eating breakfast.

When I got home that afternoon, mom was already so worried about me that she started crying all over again and gave me double portions of everything eatable.

She was my best friend.

She's late now though.

Awwwn.. May her soul continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.

Last thing before I step out.. Now a part of me, with time that will change.

Thank you. My blood pressure is 120/70. My breathing got worse and the headaches are killing my eyes. I've done every treatment and now I'm tired. Maybe it's my time to go. I'm just living life now like tomorrow is my last. There are some sights I want to see overseas I wish I could see them but maybe in my next life, I'll just happen to live a stone throw away from them.

Oh dear, I'm so very sorry about how you feel.. Going by your posts, I see you've been through a whole lot, some things got really messed up.. It's been tough, I know we keep hoping that everything gets better and that someday it will all make sense but buttt we ain't there yet & some can't hold out for too long; many are tired, utterly exhausted..

Honestly, I still think that something is wrong somewhere but if you've practically been in and out of different medical facilities and they can't seem to find out the root cause(s) of these symptoms you're having, then I dunno what to think or say at this point..

I do wish that you get total & complete healing soon, I wish that you really get to visit those places you so desire to and also do the things that brings you so much joy.. Please take care.

Sorry about that, it is indeed scary.. It could be that you were reacting to the spray but then you say it's not the first time you're using it.. Any chance you sprayed so much? I dunno but thank God for your neighbours that came just in time to help.

I may not know all you've put into this relationship but after reading some here I'll say you're doing well as a loving boyfriend maybe underappreciated yh you could subtly point that out.. See, it really doesn't have to come to this.. Her siblings are like the only family she has, her closest blood relation; they've gone a long way & they've been through alot.. She shouldn't have to choose between you & her siblings, please don't make it difficult than it is already.. Her siblings may not be it but they are still her family, they're like the only family she's got..

I know you go extra miles for her and willing to do extra extra extra yhh and that's because you do love her & want the very best for her butttt you still need to understand her better, be more considerate, be more empathetic.. You're being logical but logic doesn't really cut it or maybe it will in a way, I suggest you don't dismiss her or shut her down whenever she talks about her siblings or wants to do stuff with orr for them.. Try to be more accommodating, even if you feel you cannot or do not want to get along with them, do not speak ill of them.. That way, things won't be so complicated

About placing her siblings above her hubby & children haha lol it won't really be like that.. Be it what it may, please do not try to come in between her & siblings, dem go use you settle laslas lol.

He is a very angry person and has pride just because he was looking for the house key, and discovered that the key he was looking for was held by my dad. He started beating him. He has even destroyed some of our properties at home all in the name of anger.

Cream and mini crackers are my favourites because of their peculiar taste which has been constant for a while now. Of recent the company has altered their flavours(or whatever they're called). Though I don't have issues with the increment in price - everybody understands the economic situation at present but to the reduce the pack size and still alter the taste - that is arrant foolishness and it betrays the confidence of loyal patrons like myself.
Beloxxi cream crackers now tastes like cabin biscuit. It is so heart wrenching.

I remember buying cartons of Beloxxi crackers just cos I loved how it tasted in my mouth, how it didn't give my teeth so much work, how it melts on my tongue and I only have to savour and then swallow.. I haven't had it in a long long while though.. Parle Top buttery crackers may not be it but you could try it out orr veggie crackers as the commenter above me has suggested.
