7Alexandre:Yea we kuku don accept am like that. Lots of Nigerians are doing great here but we also have lots of shady people and the community is not united at all. Nigerians would rather patronize Mexicans than to support their own. There's a Nigerian restaurant here that almost went bankrupt because it was strictly Nigerian, the owner had to change it to African/Carribean in order to be successful. I guess no matter the continent, Nigerians never change, may God help us all ![]() |
7Alexandre:Oh no, the places you are mentioning are luxury living. They're almost comparable to some places in LA and Beverly Hills but Alpharetta/Roswell? Those houses were going for 150 to 250k after the 2008 financial crisis, it's a shame man never hammer back then....lol. |
7Alexandre:Oh yea, you know the area well. House prices in those areas are maddening, 400,000 dollars upwards. Yea the traffic is the reason why I got one home near my workplace and another for the weekend. Just like Lagos, person no go see wetin cause am ![]() |
laptopsale:I'm not disputing what you just said, in fact I know nothing about rap but abeg name one of Mode 9's rap song that you are confident will survive the decade or even the next 5 years? I'm waiting................................................See that's the thing, rapping without being a brand is like Olamide before his breakthrough, nobody sabi e papa! You think Pac, Eminem, Biggie, Nas and so on would be labeled top tier if they just spat hardcore rap without balancing it with gbedu that made sense? How can you call someone the best when majority of your country people no sabi any of his songs? How can someone be legendary when 10 years from now, the name "Mode 9" would only be remembered by less than 0.1% of his fan base? Lol best rapper indeed ![]() |
bolayei:Empty drum....With all your greatness dem no know your papa for UK Omo Ale Jati Jati ![]() |
bolayei:LMAO...It's past your bedtime, go to bed & stop this foolery ![]() |
GoodFaith:I've never been there but if it is anything like the one in atlanta, I no fit do am. One thing I hate more than driving is sitting in traffic . During a snowstorm a couple of years back, we spent 9 good hours traveling just 10 miles.....I no fit cry |
bolayei:Hahaha....Now if we showed your comment to your 16 year old, would he or she be proud of you? Grow up man, stop making a mockery of yourself ![]() |
bolayei:If you sat in traffic for 2 hours in Atlanta, you go know say e good make person use money buy convenience ![]() |
Numerouno94:Mode 9 is good but what's the use of a rapper that can't conquer his own domain? The legendary rappers are known home and abroad. Tupac, Nas, Eazy E, Eminem, JayZ and so on. Mode 9 na lyricists but not a complete rapper. |
MIKESTUNNA:You know we love to hype anyone that seems foreign, because his flows are pure English/hardcore I think he gets more respect. It's a Nigerian thing ![]() |
Rhaspody:What is rap? What criteria was used to make this list? For example are you talking about flowing lyrically or mastering your words with rhythms to produce a masterpiece? How can you say a rapper is number 1 when he could not conquer the mainstream in his country? It's like saying Rakim is better than Eminem. |
Foolishness at its core.....Dagrin number 5, Mode 9 number 1 . Olamide number 10, pure comedy ![]() |
Surrey2Bimshire:Oh cool...Do come back soon. |
PDP, just die already...abi which one be all dis palapala ![]() |
Surrey2Bimshire:Where you heading to? |
Surrey2Bimshire:I live in Norcross but during weekdays I'm at my second home in Dunwoody. |
bolayei:Low lives....LMAO. Spoken like a true Nigerian, visiting the States?....So you've not actually lived in the states, worked in the States and fully utilize the system in the States? Kid when next you visit, come to Atlanta, I would love to show you more about the States ![]() |
NonFarmPayrol:They do, trust me they do....lol. Only difference here is that they can spend months or years perfecting their trap before acting. |
bolayei:Yea right....lol. Have you lived in the USA? |
mindtricks:I'm not disputing that, I'm disputing the fact that no competent court can ever convict him based on the evidence so far. Which is why it is laughable that the OP condemned people criticizing her or asking questions. |
Anyone with hope that this country will get better is just fooling themselves. Even the government does not believe in a better Nigeria....lol. |
samsard:You're not making sense, comparing apples with oranges, I don't even know what your argument is? I thought you wanted justice for her? Well you can't get legal justice without evidence so let's stick to social media foolery and pretend we're gods....lol |
samsard:So the innocent man is what? Collateral damage? Ever wondered what justice men who are falsely accused get? NONE! Yea that's right, lives destroyed, zero compensation, but let's leave the man out of this and focus on your profile that the female is most times always right. Even with this, I don't understand why you have a problem with those who wish she could come out much earlier and confront the attacker. I don't understand why you fight me for saying evidence is crucial for any form of legal justice, I'm confused why you have a problem with this. Oh let me guess, this ain't about legal justice is it? LMAO....Now that's the real fuckery ![]() |
samsard:Hey you're being unnecessarily aggressive which shows you're the one not using logic but rather emotional rhetoric! You call it rape but can you prove it? If you're going to accuse someone of a violent crime, you better have enough evidence and please don't give me that crap about WHY WOULD SHE LIE? We don't know who's telling the truth, a guy can be promiscous, smoke weed and be known to be a questionable character and still be innocent of an accusation. A woman can be flirty, wear skimpy clothes, a drunkard and still be inncocent of being a slut. This age of social media has got most of y'all picking emotions over logic, when you get to court your eyes go clear ![]() |
Study your current situation and use the experiences of those that graduated before you as a learning curve. In a country where 70% of all new graduates are unemployed or underemployed, you already put yourself at a disadvantage by having a 2.2. Now you should be thinking ahead, Masters or Entrepreneurship, always stay 1 or 2 steps ahead of the competition, 24 hrs in a day, if you can't use 3 to 4 hours per day to better yourself then you'll just keep going in circles. |
samsard:Let me guess, she cooperated because no one would belive her? The accuser was a powerful man or close family member/friend? She wanted to cover her shame? What does all these excuses have in common? In the eyes of the law, your case becomes even more difficult to prove as time goes by. If you believe it is okay to accuse someone after a decade or more of something as despicable as rape then you MUST also believe that EVIDENCE is of the highest priority, is this UNREASONABLE? Perhaps you're not nterested in legal justice but rather screaming on social media taking one side or the other....lol |
luminouz:Trust me the damage is not to be underestimated. |
The post is not objective at all and is clearly one sided. Even police and any lawyer worth their stuff would tell you to name your accuser early and preserve as much ecvidence as possible. The questions raised were mostly useful and very damaging once it gets to court. Remember it's not what actually happened but what you can prove happened! If the pastor was a nobody, would she be so high pressed to come out after all these years? I mean she said he did it twice and she even ended up going to work for him at his home with his wife and their newborn child, does this not sound fishy to anyone? In this age of social media it is easy to take sides and be very sentimental, this is why she knew her best bet was to put it out there and let the ever ready public tear him to pieces. Guilty or not, we'll never know. Justice has already been served! |
3kay945:Thought you were done arguing? Try and visit the USA or the UK and see how citizens and government work in partnership....Shalom! |
3kay945:Lol....Don't need to, If as an auditor I don't know the role/functions of the government then I should be flogged ![]() |
3kay945:You're not arguing based on solid facts but rather sentiments. You gave one example of where Nigerians follow the law, I can counter it with 5 more examples where they broke the law abroad and went scot free. On Nairaland homepage today, fellow Nigerians practicing cultism in America came to disrupt a concert. Daily cases of scammers ripping off unsuspecting Americans and so on. Laws require two conditions, implementation/enforcement and reporting, without both the law would fail drastically. The government cannot do it alone, no sane country has a system where the government controls every aspect of law and order. The same Saudi that you quoted wanted to execute a bunch of Nigerians for drug trafficking some time ago, which proves that laws or no laws, people will behave according to their nature. Take it or leave it, the average Nigerian would take advantage of his or her neighbor if/when given the opportunity. Blame it on the government but who exactly is the government? No be people like you and I? From Councillors to Local Government chairmen and above, it's a cultural thing my friend. FANTASTICALLY CORRUPT SINCE 1960© |

You will still end up with the government to put sanity.
