I dont think one incident like that would make me cancel a wedding.
Before i decided to marry him, i would have considered the pros and cons - and cause i decided to marry him then i would have known the good outweighs the bad.

I aint leaving ma man for one incident like that - but we would be going through alot of concelling after the marriage.

God forbid that happens.
But it doesnt have to be my man, if its someone i know and its not gonna affect me negatively in a ny way - its something i could consider.

You know fathers that desert their kids are very very selfish,
come and go as they please.

I am in the same situation now, fatheri s non existent, i dont even know if she knows her father.
but i know when he finally decides to see her, i have to encourage it.

Girl and what u do now is just securing ur son for the future - cause if u decided to marry into another family, they will be some there that will insult ur son that he doesnt have a father - so swallow ur pride and do what u gotta do

You have just got to tell your child that thats their father and its very important that the child knows that.
They have to know that having a relationship with their father is essential. As a mother, thst supposed to be your duty and whether the child proceeds with that is another thing.

Just make sure that u dont get in that way. And tell the father that he is treading on thin ice and this is probably the last chance he will be getting cause the child is growing and making their own decisions.

I feel t depends on what kinda expenses they have.
If they have a home and she gets it, then i think he is stil responsible for paying the mortgage on the home cause thats where the child stays but that would end if she remarries.

But he pays the child allowance till the child is like 18.

Its really sad cause Nigeria could afford to give out welfare for deserving people and Lord knows there are loads of deserving families.

God knows it would cut out a lot of crime and unnecesities in that nation if a welfare sysytem is there.

I would feel very bad for her.
Sh eis a woman and has needs - but thats not excusing what she did.

She should just leave and get on with her lihe but its gonna be sad for the children she had for the late man - cause u no how extended family members can be, they would start questioning the paternity of the kids already in existence.

As mothers, we have to be very careful of our actions because they could affect the kids in tne long run.

I say just spport her cause she is feeling bad herself, and love her cause she is still ur mother and u only get one.

What am saying is that everybody deserves to be happy.
If you are in a relationship and you are not happy, then leave if you have tried all to work it out and its not happening.
If you dont, u are laying a very bad foundation for that child - and just causing the child to be messed up emotionally.

I am just keeping it real here - i would be happy that at least if he was gonna play away, he will be safe.
So i would be glade.

If there is a system that is in place to educate these young women about their bodies - somewhere for them to go to unwin - insead of having nothing to do and being bored which leads to all sort of things.

As a young mother myself, i wasnt educaed enough and i wasnt about to start asking ma family members about the birds and the bees.

I just feel education is the key here.

I may be partly naked in front of my daughter but not totally naked.
If i had son, i would never do it once he starts growing (like 2yr old).

I feel its wrong cause then the children will feel its a norm and go looking at other naked people.

You cant advice her to go back cause she wont. And even if she did go back for the kids, she would probably end up killing the man because of the hatred she has for him.

I would just say, be prayerful and help her out with taking care and advising the kids.
I feel she should still have helped the children maintain a relationship with their father.
What she needs to do now is settle down since she decided to leave the marriage - she needs to calm down and take care of her responsibilities (her kids).

I couldnt do that, cause marriage is a life long commitment and if his bad english is irritating, then i just cant be with him.
It will be an issue later on, if he smells bad as well, it will not even go past the talking stage - cause this is gonna be an issue in future.

I feel there are times when its necessary to tell present partners of past relationships e.g if u have a child from it or were married etc.

But if its not really necessary, then i would keep shtum. Its so sad that when u try and be truthful with people, they use it against you.

So i keep some stuff to maself.

Hello all.
I just needed some help, my daughter is going to be ten next year God willing and i desire to give her a birthday bash.
She hasnt really had a birthday party and it would be amazing if she got one.
She hasnt really had it easy, a non existent Father and she is also being treated for sickle cell anemia.

So thats why i decided to go really big.

So i would like some birthday party ideas - e.g games to play, party bag items etc - maybe even parties you have been to and liked what you saw. I really want it to be about her and only her.

So people please help me.

Well, i dont think it is the length of time, i think its the fact that u have run through all your checklist (e.g. how is he around ur friends, their family, your family, authority, how many laws they break etcand he is rite for you. Obviously praying hard and keeping ur eyes open. Make a good friend of urs look at the relationship from the outside and tell u the truth.

What would we define as cute - i hav seen cute guys with bad attitudes, maybe thats a cause.

I feel that its because 'cute' sistas nos how much hussle it is being with a 'cute' guy. Cute guys are alwys the centre of attention, they always attract the ladies even though they dont wanna - the ladies just keep coming at them.

But if its with a guy that isnt all that, lets say a low maintenance guy, he will give u the most attention, girls wont be swarming around him that much.

I personally like all the attention going to me, and i compliment anyone am with. also i dont wanna have to be hussling for the mirror in the house cause ma man thinks he is cute.

I feel this is one way men use to cheat, and they dont actually see it as cheating - they just feel its being 'social'. I feel that prayers work miracles but u have gotta be practical too. God will answer ur prayers as long as u believe and u have got to put some actions to it.

Address the issue with your man - tell him if the foot was on the other foot, how would he feel with someone mailing you, ringing u and refering to you as 'baby'.

Tell himm he needs to put an end to all that nonsence - its all good, if he doesnt want to - then people do say keep your enemies closest - just make sure u get to know her too cause if u mandate u man to leave her alone, he will only do so outside - so get her phone number and offer to speak to her when she rings him and they are talking.
