I just got a face to face invite from a company in the UK after passing the first phase of the interview. I have written to then for it to be done online but they insisted on seeing me face to face. I am going through alot of mental stress right now, UKVI has really dealt with me so badly without committing any crime. I applied for a student visa, priority to be precise, bio was done on 20th of January, decision was made on 23rd January and I got BRP mail on 26th of January but could you believe that since then ukvi refused to send my passport back to TLS for collection, I have been battling with this for long, I keep going to IKEJA TLS but the truth is even the so called TLS are not ready to help and now my school told me not to bother coming again even if my passport is return back to me. Right now I want to ask, can ukvi be sue and also how can I request for my IHS refund? Please house help me

Hello Nairalanders, there's something I need an advice about because I don't seem to understand or how to go about it.
I have a very introverted personality and my relationship with girls hasn't been very great. For some reason, I get turned off by girls who I think are just as introverted as I'm. I mean, I hate it when I have to be the one to always initiate a conversation and brighten up the mood even when my social skills is not very good.
I have friends who are really extroverted and seems to make girls giggle everytime which makes me envy them. These guys say whatever they like and girls seem to like it.
What have I been doing wrong? Because most times I don't usually know what to say to girls when I meet them as my head usually goes blank which makes things quite awkward.
The other thing is that I'm a very tall person 6'4, which sometimes seem to intimidate girls even whenever I try to be friendly. Whenever I try to get a girl's attention, she would just hurriedly greet me and pass as if that's what I wanted.
Please what do you guys think I need to improve on? Is it my way of approach or are there some social skills I need to learn?

1if you are on a skilled worker visa, and you decide not to travel with your wife and children for now because of financial constraints, can they apply to join you later; say after 6 months?

2. If you apply at the same with your spouse and children (dependant visa), must they travel with you at the same time? Or they can decide to join you after 6 months?

I might be wrong, but I think you are taking this too personally. It's a rule of thumb that if you want to carpool, you should offer to chip in on the cost of gas. It's part of Oyibo culture. If I were in your shoes, I'd offer to pay her what you typically pay for bus ride. You should know that gas is expensive in the UK. You might be helping her today but she may save your life tomorrow.

It's lways better to build bridges than to burn them. An eye for an eye and the whole world will go blind . Aspire to always be the bigger person.

There this new female lady who is a Nigeria that just got employ in my place of work in the UK. Omo this lady did not know the work very well because she is new and I have to cover for her so that the white people will nor use her to catch cruise because stylish racism is very common at my working place. So me and this girl vibe very well because we are Nigerian. After work this girl was going to my city and she drive unlike me that use public transport. So I told her to drop me in mycity base on say we are going to the same city. This girl told me that she can't carry me free and I have to drop 5 pounds and public bus dey carry me 2 pounds. Omo I told her say nor worry I go follow public motors.
Next day at work she want to get closer to me. Omo I just lock up. I nor send her again. When she was complaining that those oyinbo people are rude I just reply her saying what do u want me to do? I can't be saving your ass for place of work and u can't reciprocate the favour back. The thing she do me pain me die. How can u charge a person that is going to the same distinction with u and also the same person that help u at work?
Some people are just terrible. Am still in pain as I am typing because am feeling guilty of paying her back with evil but she force me to do that. Am not a wicked person but just have to do it.
